It was so good we came back a second time during our trip of only 4 days in Hobart. The venue is gorgeous with beautiful red brick walls and fairy lights, some cute olive trees in the courtyard. I felt like I was transported to some village courtyard in Italy. The food was exquisite and so stunningly presented and the service top notch! with beautiful and warmly welcoming staff members. We had several shared plates from the menu including oysters (which were deliciously fresh and tasty), fish of the day, etc but my absolute favourite was the dish with goat and pea puree. I love all the ingredients in that dish and would have never thought of putting them together. Everything was such a delight to the eyes and to the taste buds. Highly recommend and will definitely make a stop next time I'm back in town.

Great location - I loved the venue layout and decor!! The service was fab, friendly and fast. I wasn’t a massive fan of the fig leaf vodka but that’s just my personal taste. The anchovy paste and corn dishes were great and very flavourful! Will be back

An excellent restaurant in very interesting location with a couple of historical oddities - oldest flush toilet and a little piece of cobblestone road. Delicious plates with interesting flavours beautifully presented. Good but limited selection of wines. Very attentive staff.

This place is popular, so book ahead. The service was pretty good. The food was alright - not spectacular, but still an enjoyable experience. They don't have a huge menu, so if you're a picky eater, probably check the menu beforehand. The bread and cauliflower was a bit burnt/over charred. The meatballs and croquettes were tasty.

Great little tapas joint in the middle of Hobart. The flat iron steak was a standout for me. The oysters were great, and we've eaten a lot of them this week with which we could compare them to! The patatas bravas were also on point. Had me reminiscing of the last few times we were in Spain where I think I may have eaten my own body weight in them. They were very good. The only thing missing from the menu was a salad or veggies, something to break up the fried food. I know we could have ordered less fried food, but it all tasted so good, we would have ordered even more if that was on the menu. Lots of good seating positions too, both outside, in a laneway, large communal table, sneaky table out the back, and also some good date spots and booth starting. Something for everyone! Definitely recommend.

Great introduction to Hobart!! Sat at the communal table. Met people from out of town and mixed it with the locals! Josh and his team are fantastic! Great service and even better food and wine!! The flat iron steak is a MUST!

Great little place tucked away off the street, walking through an arch into a few outdoor seats and the venue proper. Didn’t eat properly, just a few little bits and pieces, but menu did seem well curated. Staff were friendly and was just a relaxed vibe.

A nice little place off the main road that we stumbled on whilst walking on a Friday afternoon. They have Sangria and some other fun drinks and some interesting shared plates. Not cheap but definitely cheery and quirky - a nice place to sit in the courtyard on a summers day.

Stopped for dinner here on our last night in Hobart. We had not eaten in a while and were famished so needed a good feed. Sat at the bar and our amazing waitress Grace suggested the feed me selection, which was absolutely incredible and so tasty. The salted cod croquettes were light and delicious and the lamb shoulder was so tender and flavorful. Also the quinoa salad with roasted almonds was such a great combination. To top it all off the service was so lively and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend for both a good feed and a good time!

bumped into this joint while casually walking around Hobart laneways. had a quick chat with Josh and promised to go there for a meal the following night. when we came back the place had a friendly buzz to it, was welcomed by Josh and seated casually. we were quickly served by Leyla and was attentively looked after with really good drink and food recommendations. the tapas experience and cocktails did not disappoint. if you want a casual small serve and drinking experience on the elizabeth street strip with a fine mixed crowd and good atmosphere - this is the place..!

We were ready to give up. Trying to find somewhere to eat on a Wednesday night in Hobart is challenging. Turning into a courtyard we discovered salvation at this tapas bar. Possibly the most generous tapas servings I’ve encountered of incredible steak, cauliflower, potatoes and steak tartare. The wine list kept up. Just as appetising was the warm crowd and engaged staff. Finishing with the crème Catalan was perfection.

These guys are fabulous. We're from Sydney and own a Film catering business and I wish I could transport these guys to Sydney. The service is refreshing, delicious food, great value, awesome atmosphere at a reasonable price. Great spot if you're a traveler staying in the city. Absolutely will be back when in Hobart.

Menu is tapas style. They don't have a lot of items but they are all tasty. Wine list is phenomenal and they are making really good use of the outdoor area. Staff managed two back to back large groups like pros. Would like to see some vegetarian options with more protein (like halloumi or chickpeas) and washroom could use a change table. Beyond that, I think they are doing an amazing job and I'll definitely back.
