Went there for a lovely night out and wasn't disappointed! The food was really nice. Honest well thought out dishes that hit the mark every time. We had the set menu, for 79 pp which was really good value. The service adds another layer to this venue, all staff were great, they worked the table well and always a smile. We'll be back in the very near future!

What can we say, each dish was amazing!!! Highly recommend the bread with hummus, lamb, the beetroot, and the pumpkin dishes! The love cake was divine. Everything was fresh & tasty! Glasses, crockery & linen were beautifully presented. Friendly & helpful staff. We live in NSW but would seriously consider a trip back to Tassie just to eat here again!! Make sure you come to Malik - you won’t regret it!! Thanks for such a lovely night.

Impeccable service and flavoursome food. We had the cauliflower, octopus, manti and seasonal greens. Cannot fault a thing. The octopus was particularly delicious with a gorgeous charred flavour and perfect texture. Our waitresses were attentive without being intrusive and were exceptionally polite. We had a great night and intend to return. Thank you to all at Malik.

Visited this lovely place on a Saturday night. We were met by the warm face of Nat, our server for the evening. We ordered the cauliflower and pumpkin kebbe for starters. The cauliflower was incredible! For mains we shared the lamb shoulder. The lamb was so succulent that you could use a spoon to eat it! For dessert the chocolate parfait was incredible. My partner had the cheesecake, but I think she was jealous of me! Highly recommend this place for a date or any occasion! Nat was amazing and made the experience a 10 out of 10!

We were looking for somewhere for a nice night out. We saw a few recommendations for Malik so thought we'd give it a shot - it definitely didn't disappoint! We shared some small plates, a large plate, some sides and dessert. Every dish was great, full of flavour. Staff were attentive and prompt despite every seat in the place being full. We will definitely be going back.

Amazing food, Cooked to perfection..Every meal we had was spot on, not to mention the deserts 😋😋 Service was spot on..So welcoming and could not have been more friendly. Service 5/5, really attentive and considerate, made for a really nice dining experience. Entree 5/5. Cauliflower and the lamb dumplings were absolutely beautiful. Paella 2/5. Big miss on this one, too much chorizo and unfortunately ALL the seafood was way overcooked, really dry (can I also suggest removing the poo shoot from the king prawns, a bit unpleasant). Persian Love Cake 5/5. Nice way to round out our 28th anniversary. We'll definitely go back.

Nice space and attentive staff. Terrific wine list and glassware, as well as fresh and high quality food. Nothing blew me away and the price was up there. As a table of four we shared everything, and disappointingly the paella only had 3 prawns. Overall, a lovely night out and a nice atmosphere.

Friendly staff that are not too intrusive, romantic setting in a nice cozy sized layout, but the standout is the food, unbelievable flavours and combinations with appropriate portion sizes that won’t bust your belt, bravo Malik as our dinner was one my partner and I will remember for a long time until we return again :)

Absolutely fantastic food! We came across Malik by chance, looking for shelter from the cold, but boy was it a fortuitous discovery. The place was warm and cosy, and the staff was super friendly. We had the fried cauliflower which put a smile on our faces and warmed up our bellies. That was followed by the lamb, together with potatoes and the tomato salad. All of it was delicious. Pair it with some good wine - they have a fine selection - and you'll have a truly satisfying experience.

Finally got to come here after seeing how amazing it looked and Malik did not disappoint. Ali and the staff were so accommodating with such professionalism and welcoming service. Thw fitout was beautiful with impeccable lighting.The food from entrees mains and desserts were all on point. Standouts were the oysters with pomegranate, the charcoal chicken was the best I’ve ever had and the chocolate parfait was outstanding. Can’t wait to come back.

It was good, however I think some of the dishes were a bit samey. They could do much more if they diversified the menu a little more. Nice vibe, nice setting, cold air does come in through the automatic front door, so sit up the back.
