Best hot chocolate I've ever tasted! Bought two packs of the milk choc drink balls to last me until my next 3 hour drive to Hobart. The churro and donut fondue was incredible. Staff was friendly and service was fast.

I’m not a big fan of Churros but since my friend insisted to go for dessert, we came here. We had a good experience apart from wait time but it was busy so understandable. Looks like they sort on staff 🤔 anyways, we enjoyed the churros and service. 🙂

I waited in a queue for about 17 minutes just to reach to the counter to know that they will take 20 more minutes to get 1 churro ready! It was over crowded and staff were insufficient. The cashier had to go servve ice-cream while leaving the long queue waiting for their turn. Place was however okay to visit.

Great place for your chocolate fix but having to order on my phone when I am standing at the counter is a major drawback. This means that it restricts who would or could order. That looses 2 stars from me. 3 stars now

Locating in Salamanca, San Churro is a good spot for a casual afternoon tea break. The churros are freshly made, crispy, crunchy with just the right touch of sugar and cinnamon. Fun menu with an interesting variety of churros, shakes and coffee.

Have to say this gold caramel chocolate! Super duper yummy! It wouldn’t last than 5 minutes on the table! One of the best churros place in Hobart! Huge space, if you are coming in a big group, love desserts? perfect spot then! Located in Salamanca, easy to find, 5 mins walk to the wharf, 5 mins walk to the St.davidson park.

This is my first time ever coming to a San Churro. After having many Hot Chocolates all over the east coast of Australia, this one is different. The Spanish Hot Milk Chocolate is relatively thick with a rich chocolatey flavor and a bit of hazelnut. A spoon is given also for Tati g the foam when you initially get the drink. Overall, very thick, and a bit heavy for my taste, but that does not mean bad by no means. This was really sweet for me. Also ordered the Churro for one which comes with 3 x ~5-6inch churros with an order or hazelnut sauce (Nutella). As o mentioned before, I don’t consume considerably sweet things so I found my self only dipping little Nutella if any on the churro with each bite. One unique flavor found on the churros was black pepper. It added an interesting twist to the common churro. Hope this helps someone! Cheers!

It’s always so nice to get San Churro’s for dessert, sad that it’s halved it’s size because now when it’s really busy (as it is most of the time) it can be a little bit crowded! Otherwise the venue is clean and tidy, the staff a friendly and the food and drinks are amazing!

Best Churros in the city. Salmamca San Churro is the only franchise in Tasmania. Their milk and ither shakes are good. They have a small range of savory items. Its highly recommend for the churros lovers.

Stopped in here for a quick dessert after dinner, and was extremely satisfied with the experience. Nice atmosphere, great selection of desserts and very tasty stuff. I always enjoy my churros in Salamanca. But the 5 star rating is more for the tables are never clean when I first sit down and there's ever only one person working the dinning room you have to ask so many times for them to get round to it. Front of house staff I feel like don't really care and always forget when you ask them to clean the table. I see this as an important issue because when I sit with my kids they're rubbing their hands into the table which should be clean. It's not a one off their always dirty (at the booths) everyone's fav spot to sit.

We are from Sydney. Me and my fiance' were wandering in Salamanca, for some ice-cream. So we entered in San Churro : interior was very impressive. Menu is great with plenty of options to choose. We tried few shared platters and just wow. Staff was very attentive and explained everything we had. I would recommend this place to everyone who loves choclates and desserts. Five Stars Definitivamente vamos a volver (We will definitely come back)

A chain restaurant that served churros that didn't meet expectations of a churro restaurant, with dipping sauces that aren't particularly flavoursome, either. Service was mediocre with prices reasonable (~$7.50pp) We are unlikely to return, with Honeybadger (next door) a much better option.
