They boast as authentic Indian restaurant, and it's every bit true. Loved the food! Food is different, feels like homemade and that's what separates it from other Indian restaurants. Quantity is more than sufficient. Service wasn't up to the mark, but we were not in hurry as well, so didn't matter much.

Curries are very delicious except the Naan bread. Prawn molee and murg methi is just finger licking tasty. Perfect amount of spices n flavours. The naan bread was just thick layer of flour dough and little bit stuff on top. Very dry and not tasty. Service is bit slack as they replaced the Kashmiri naan from my order but never informed me or asked and just replaced it with pizza naan. Will definitely order again but just the curries n biryani. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Recommend Dishes:- ❤️Chooza - khas Hyderabadi Biryani ❤️Prawn Molee ❤️Murg Methi Malai. Note: I ordered through Menulog. May be naan breads are nicer if you dine-in. Will check one day !!

We've been to this restaurant a few times, and we've also done some takeaway. We've discovered that the food quality is consistently excellent. In addition, the cost is reasonable. I would recommend it to everyone.

Took my 17 year old here for an authentic Indian experience as travel is out of the question with crazy COVID. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, and it is run by a beautiful Indian family that really looked after us. Great food and homely feeling ! we had 2 curries and naans with lots of drinks . The owner has a very warm way of dealing with customers. The kitchen was kind enough to desify our orders to give us a taste of home . Go for aloo prantha and karai paneer ( off menu ). The chef sometimes cooks moving dal kitchri , lookout for that !

Honesty the best Indian food I've ever eaten, from the first bite of the complementary starter to the last sauce soaked mouthful of naan. The staff were lovely and couldn't have asked for better value for money. The only thing I can regret is living a state away and not down the road otherwise I'd happily make myself a regular! Glorious. Top three Indian ever for me. The chicken Tikka Masala is excellent and the cheese and garlic Naan is mouth watering. Staff are genuine.

Here you'll find the best Indian food in Tasmania. Their food is really authentic and full of flavour. If you get the chance, pop in here at lunchtime during the week when it's a bit quieter and try their Chicken Vindaloo. People sometimes complain about their children coming out and crying or playing around the dining area but you have to remember that this is their family business and also their home. Focus on the brilliant food and not the small imperfections. It's definitely one of the best places you can go if you love good food.

Ordered Taj curry to be delivered over the Easter break. We’ve been fans for quite a while but has seen some quality discrepancies between ordered over the years. However the meal this past week was so good! Just like it used to be, delicious sauce, heaps of tender meat, great naan and papadums! Thanks Taj Palace ^_^

Really delicious Indian food. Spices on point, naans delicious. We had a fridge magnet that said 20% off when showing your room key, when we got there they only gave 10% off. Marked down for that, and they missed some food and messed up our order a little. Also, we ordered 8 different dishes and they didn't write what anything was on the lid - super awkward when trying to serve to the eater.

One of the best Indian cuisine experience you can have here. The place is large enough for family get together. Their best creation in Hydrabadi Biriyani. Apart from biriyani you can try chicken tikka masala, murg nizami which are chicken curries. Their beef curries are not upto the mark. Don't forget to try sweet mango lassi with the main cuisine as a drink. NB: They dont have sufficient front staff. In the busy time it gets late to take the order.

This will be my third or fourth time ordering delivery from Taj Palace. Their food is delicious and delivery service great (eatnow), I'd definitely recommend. I'm also vegan and have found that they're really educated with what is and isn't vegan and they've multiple dishes and sides to chose from. You'd have no issues eating in with fellow omnis, there's plenty to chose from!

Whilst friendly, food takes what feels like an ice age to appear - but it is very much worth the wait. I've never walked away from this restaurant unhappy, because despite the slowness it is always great food. I've had a selection of meat-based and vegetarian curries, all of them excellent. I could eat the naan bread forever.
