Wow. Easily the best fish and chips I’ve had for a long time - maybe ever. Fish was moist, batter was crisp and both fish and chips weren’t overly oily. Grilled was pretty good, but fried was excellent. This is definitely going to be my regular fish and chip shop going forward.

This is the second time eating from here and I'm very impressed! Salt and pepper calamari is melt in the mouth and just super delicious!! The sweet potato cakes are amazing! Who would of thought of sweet potato cakes!! Burger with the lot is like a traditional fish n chip burger and full of flavour without being greasy!!! Chips are also crunchy and golden and fluffy, souvlaki is yummy and good choice of pita bread, And best of all its run by greeks just like the old days! Service is fast and friendly. Keep up the good work guys!!!

Brandon Park Fish & Chips at Wheelers Hill Visit Update on 1/7/2021 I have been misinformed by a friend that the premise was for lease, so I decided to check it out whether it was true. I am glad that the information is wrong, otherwise I won't have a chance to sit down for an impromptu fish & chips lunch. My wife decides to call the of friend who passed the incorrect information to join us, because both she and hubby missed having fish & chips a few days ago. With permission with the boss, I take a few shots of the interior of the premise. The very clean shop front and the gleaming equipment are testimony of the owner operators who pride their business and livelihood. The Butterfish and Chips is really first class. The batter of the fish is not thick, and fried to perfection. I always like Butterfish, because the meat is neither dry nor too firm. Both the fish and chips are fried to golden colour, and very crispy. We have a great time catching up, and enjoy our lunch, under the unusually bright sunshine and "warm" weather. ______________________________ I ordered and paid for a piece of Flake, a piece of Blue Grenadier a medium chips. My wife saw the family pack for two consisted of two extra dim sims and two cans of cold drink for just a dollar or so more. So my wife asked whether she could change the order. Without hesitatation, the lady at the counter said yes if we kept the same fish ordered. I then proceeded to pay the difference, and one of the guys, probably the owner, just said not to worry. What a great customer service! The shop was used to be round the corner next to a Chinese restaurant. The new shop is brighter and with spanking new fittings. It is bright and looks clean with the spotless stainless steel hood and fryers. It was a cold Friday night, and the piping hot fish and chips were just right for the occasion. Well done, and I shall keep telling my friends about this Fish and Chips shop in Brandon Park Drive.

Grabbed some food from these guys yesterday. (Good Friday) They were super busy which is totally understandable for the day. They have great tasting food and the place is clean and professional. The only thing that I'll add is I think they should get another phone because I had to redial their number at least 30 times to get through last night. 😅 Other than that, highly recommend.

Oh and add some chips, CRISPY ONES add chicken salt, or maybe both salts then get some HOMEMADE AIOLI dip to go with them.... The calamari as well, grab a couple those, and a HANDMADE, HANDCUT, HAND BATTER DIPPED potato cake.. Very high quality fish and chips. You won't be disappointed! This shop is run by Greeks who also do catering, even on a Sunday (for funerals and mnimosina as well). Very highly recommended! A family friend of mine, who worked in Fish and Chip shops in Melbourne since she migrated over 40yrs ago said this is the best fish and chips she has had.

Ordered 2 lamb souvlaki here because of lockdown and can't go to oakleigh. Very pleased with the flavours and aroma from this delicious souvlaki. Have had to settle with kebabs for a while but always crave for souvlaki. The hint of citrus from the lemon balanced out the fattiness of the lamb and the garlic sauce accentuated the fresh Lettuce and tomatoes and onions. The only negative was the lamb was a tad salty after the third bite. Service is good. Parking ample. Clean and nice to sit with friends once lockdown is over. I will update the review again once I order fish and chips there. Apparently it's awesome. So far, very pleased with the souvlaki. Good job fellas!

I grew up working in fish and chip business and I always thought my old family business was the best, however the burger I ordered here was amazingly tasty and very juicy. 👍 I don't live in the area but I will make a point of visiting Brandon Park Fish & Chip again.

Went out for lunch with the boys. We decided on Fish n chips around my place at Brandon Park Drive. The shop was new and looked great. My Fish & Calamari were excellent. Probably the nicest fish I've had in a long time. My mates really enjoyed their 2 person meal deal as well. They are a tough crowd so it was good to hear they enjoyed it. Definitely head in there again.

A fantastic fish and chip shop with exceptional prices. There are multiple fish and chip shops in my area however I can not miss this one ! My favourite on the menu is the Texan burger. I could see this being sold in a fancy burger bar for $20 plus! The chips and potato cakes are always perfectly cooked - lightly golden brown with the perfect crunch and no excess oil. I am yet to try any fish myself however my girlfriend loves the blue grenadier. Dim sims are fabulous and the chicken burger is flawless. Prices are great. Staff are friendly and will always say hello and remember your face. Can’t wait to go back !

This is somewhere you would not expect to find the traditional run fish and chip shop and really glad I was recommended by others. You have to try the Texas premium burgers, make sure you add an extra patty. It’s huge, restaurant style and delicious. Next time I am going 3 patties in total. Just can’t explain how smooth these burgers go down. The chips with gravy and mozeralla, awsome treat. I had a small serve with my burger and 2 potato cakes and that felt just great. The portion looks huge, however sat well with me. The kids had normal burgers, fish, chips, etc and all enjoyed it. I had a bite of the normal burger and it’s was way different to the premium style, still delicious, however premium is much juicy and tastier and will never go back to normal non premium burgers. I am going back to try the rest of the menu, those fresh massive prawns, fish and calamari in the window looked extremely good. Although it was take out I wish I could have ordered it instore amd just smashed the burger down, however there is no seating....but it’s still delicious at home. Highly recommended and guaranteed you won’t find quality and service anywhere local as I was travelling to Sorento. Have to admit, it’s better than Sorrento and all this time it’s been in my backyard.
