Was looking for a good place to get some from what I know "YIROS" as what we call in Adelaide, but here they call it HSP. 😂 LET ME TELL YOU, THIS IS A SIGN GO TRY IT! the staffs are amazing and the guy made it so good that I regretted buying a small (As I literally finished gobbling it for like 5 mins) Lol I should have gotten a large one! Will def come back!

As I was walking home from the Spearmint Rhino at 5am on a Saturday I was lured in by a divine smell. I saw a man walking down the street, chowing down on a kebab with a look of joy in his eyes. I absolutely had to get myself a Halal Snack Pack. Haven't been able to stop thinking about it. The chips were crispy and cooked to perfection. Combined with the tender lamb and succulent sauces, a perfect level of salt. The service was fast too, I was able to smash down the snack pack right before my lift arrived. Will definitely be coming back here. I slept like a king when I got home, a perfect way to end an amazing night.

Consumed: Mixed HSP Drank: Water TDT: 4.0/5.0 Location: This little place is a good location on one of Melbourne’s main thoroughfares. And let’s be honest. Kebabs and HSPs are great drunk food. Something to consume to help you sober up. And this location is near the intersection of quite a few pubs. I could see this place being really busy. Even though there isn’t much room on the outside and on the street, it’s service was so quick, that you could definitely do a quick order and pick up and be on your merry way. Food: Touted as the best HSP in Melbourne and by the guy who loves his HSP – the Zam Slam, I had to go check it out. And what can I say? I absolutely loved it! It was that good. Had the mixed meat with chips. I chose not to have the cheese this time. And went with the hot sauce. Good lawd it was amazing and delicious all rolled into one. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection. Furthermore, the chips were crunchy on the outside yet warm and fluffy on the inside and seasoned with what reminded me of chicken salt and paprika. So far, I would say this is the best HSP I have had to date. As with all HSPs do not expect it to be the most healthy of meals. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try, right? Everything in moderation! TDT: 2.0/2.0 Cost: At $12, I found this to be the most reasonable priced HSP meal to date. Even with the extra cheese, it still came in at $12. And I could not even complete the meal. HSP in it’s normal size, still remain one of those things that I cannot finish in one sitting. TDT: 1.0/1.0 Ambiance: I didn’t get a chance to sit there, and to be honest, I wouldn’t recommend you do that either. Being on the side of the road, this place allows you to do a quick stop, get your food and go on your own way. Do you want to sit on the side of the road? No. At any time of the day or night – I would hazard a no. They could have offered it, and I think there was one dining set with 2 chairs. Yeah, probably not. TDT: 0.0/1.0 Service: The service was good, fast and prompt. It was everything I could expect from a the small shop. TDT: 1.0/1.0 TDT: 4.0/5.0

I've been there a year ago and cannot forget the HSP I had here. This time I visit Melbourne, CBD kebabs is in my must-do list. The HSP didn't change much - good taste and great amount of meat & chips. The cheaper price doesn't bring it a lower level foods. The service is great and I add all extras & sauces without pay over $12 the first time I had it (didn't try this time as it's a bit strong for me lol). Will be there again my next trip to Melbourne.

CBD Kebabs is excellent, always hot & fresh and tasty, good god it's tasty! I'd give a 10/5 if i could, but they can settle for a perfect score. My humble opinion, solid choice as best kebabs in all of Melbourne, probably Australia, and given that they are also really good value is there any downside? No! It's just a total pleasure. Small note - dont think you will be in for dining in, surrounded by luxurious furnishings. They're a take out and delivery hole in the wall, those with higher standards than just a window to talk through and street to stand in (they even have a phone number), you can think of following for comfort, "I'm just an uber away from my apartment, I will enjoy this in comfort”. Plus always remember that if/when you slum it for the sheer quality of the end result, that just makes you a foodies, and in CDB Kebabs you've found a gem. Take it home and enjoy it. Chips to meat ratio needs to be improved. Though, I appreciate the generous amount of meat included in the small HSP it's personally too much meat for me, I would have liked more fries. I only got a handful of fries at best. This would be great for someone who likes alot of meat on their HSP but I recommed others to look elsewhere who likes an equal chips to meat ratio.

I came across this place when I was looking for houses in Flinders street. Tried the kebabs once, omg! I fell in love with it. It’s the best till I’ve tried till date. Their HSP is amazing as well. A lot of meat, sauce & salad options to choose from. The price range is affordable as well. One kebab is for $10 and it fills your tummy, kinda of one meal worth(at least for me as I eat less). It’s right downstairs of the apartment I live in and it’s the only place that is open till 4 am.

Pretty pleasant experience with my food order. The place served food as quickly as possible and the food itself was alright. Definitely great for a late night feed. I ordered a large hsp from this little shop today, and let me tell you, this one was something else. I’ve had a lot of different hsp’s from various Turkish takeout restaurants around Melbourne, and this one and certainly did not disappoint. I’m really not sure what made it such a fulfilling meal, but it certainly was. I highly recommend this place for hsp’s. They established themselves in 2005 and they are definitely going strong. For sure getting food from here again!

One of the favourite place for kebabs in CBD. There are many come here for Kebabs and most of the time this place is crowded. They serve until late night is another reason to visit this place. Their kebabs taste great. It is a small place, so there is hardly place to sit and eat. It is better to take away here.

With fresh food and excellent service, this is one of my favourite places to eat in Melbourne! Unfortunately due to their location, there isn't anywhere to sit and dine, but this never deters myself, or the line of customers usually out the door! It was late and close to midnight as I felt hungry. Made a brief visit to CBD Kebabs and was surprised that this place was packed with people at that time and I had to wait for my order as I was number 6 in line. Food was good and the portion was decently huge.

A small shop located in front of Melbourne Aquarium. They have been doing the business since 2005 and surely that they are experienced in this business. The service was great, friendly and very efficient. There was the time where they had promotion $6.00 kebab (chicken, lamb, mix) circa mid 2016. The place was always full of people and became the favorite place to go for everyone around CBD area to indulge their tummy at night. Now, it is back to normal which is $8.00 but It is still good value of money as you will get generous portion and great quality. I believe they are the cheapest in Melbourne CBD for this good quality. We ordered mix kebab using garlic and chilli sauce, we really enjoyed the kebab. It was just a perfect combination, meats served were really fresh as well as the vegetables. The meat was not over-burnt, pretty much we had good time in every single bite. The place might look not so promising but the taste of the kebab was great. It's highly recommended kebab place to go :) Yay : Generous portion and good value Nay : Take away only

Things are going downhill at cbd kebabs. Staff are becoming slightly arrogant I think because of the popularity of the place and they don't seem to care anymore. Cold chips in hsp, wrong sauces, slow service, meat so cold its not even melting the cheese. Guys need to life your game to what it was. As an extreme positive they take all kinds of cards for no surcharge including amex which is wonderful.

Best Halal Snack Pack available in the city. Its got shredded Kebab meat (either chicken or lamb or both) with juicy chips on top of it. Theres a good amount of mozzarella cheese between the chips and meat to help enrich the taste and to top it all: add any sauce you would like (Personal opinion: add BBQ and Sweet Chilli Sauce). Ohh and yeah, try having it as soon as you're served, in your car or right outside the shop. Have the food while its still Hot and Juicy and yummy! Enjoy!
