Good Food ! Best place to dine when u r super hungry and don’t want to wait too long ! Food was served warm and Quick ! Must try : Ka pro Chicken and the Hinanese Steamed chicken rice

China bar offers an affordable Chinese feast at all hours, the service was super speedy, we only waited 10 minutes at most for 3 dishes, the food was hot, nourishing and the portions sizes are large for the cost conscious among us. Delivery is also available, for those not close to there many locations or looking for a delivered snack!

China bar located on Russel St is a truly amazing Chinese restaurant located on Russel St. The food at Chin bar is divine, they season the food perfectly and are really efficient, the food comes out really quickly and they make the food here better then other China Bars. The staff at China bar are also really fast and friendly, they move fast but smile at the same time, the store is pretty spacious and they even have an upstairs. Highly recommended to anyone who is feeling like Chinese food, be sure to try their Crispy Pork Fried Rice - F6

Very delicious food with reasonable price. Really loved it!! And menu card is viewed via scanning QR code and then will write them down on a paper with pencil. Definitely a different style of ordering..

Havnt been here in five years as I've been living abroad, but it was great to stumble across a familiar place and still experience the same great chines food we had years ago. As at October 2021, they are using QR codes for menus but you still pay cash or eftpos after eating and are doing a great job at distancing and checking vaccinations etc.

Ordered the limited time only lobster served with mee, it tastes so good and the lobster was fresh. However, was disappointed when it came half a lobster when picture displayed was the whole lobster. Other than that the crispy pork and duck was equally excellent. Price was a littlebit pricey to be honest but if you’re up for some chinese food then it’s worth the shot.

Good and reasonably priced. Staff was ok but could improved their English. I know my food well enough to order what I wanted. Loved the roast pork and BBQ pork. That's my go to dish. Never fails me. Will be back again. 6.5/10

This Chinese cafe serves up south east Asian styled Chinese food. There's a subtle difference to the Hong Kong styled ones. I only had the BBQ dry noodles. Not too bad. The sauce is thicker, more savory and definitely a cause for caution to those who dine here with a white shirt. The chicken and pork? Not good. Open past midnight and in classic Asian cafes, there's a minimum charge on eftpos transactions.

I have been coming here for over 10 years. Always satisfied with the service and food. I travel over an hour to get there. And love the tom yum veg noodle soup second to none. I haven't had a tom yum soup better then china bar's one yet. Overall ill give it a 10/10 my rating.

Here's the most dissapointing thing, the food flavour was clearly there, at least for my duck and pork buns. However my housemate was not so fortunate, we found a black hair in our food (neither of us have black hair). The duck was full of bones, as was the chicken. Unfortunately for our meat, most of it had to be thrown because the bones and bone fragments were that meshed into it. We were given a full refund for this order. I will be going back as the flavours were amazing, and I hope it was just a bad day for the kitchen.
