We went there couple of times and personally I prefer stone grilled steak. You can grill it as much as you want and it tastes really nice. Passion fruit cocktail also was really good. Burger also is really good here. Definitely, coming back here to try more Desserts and cocktails.

Had an amazing dining experience here! Staff was great, service was good, food was fantastic and vibes were excellent. A lively restaurant with delicious food especially the grilled meats. I had chargrilled braised lamb and it was superb - succulent and flavourful. I will encourage the restaurant to offer garlic sauce with the lamb to further enhance the flavour. It does get busy so reserve a table and enjoy your time! Parking is available nearby.

Chicken Parmigiana was good. It was a bit dry around the edges. Source under the molten cheese was not enough. Risotto was under cooked. Wife was hungry and said that she cannot wait anymore so she ate it as she was constantly saying rice is still hard in her mouth. I tasted it and I would have left it. The waiters were polite and well presented. The cooks need to be extra cautious as they will get more reviews like mine.

Every time I would drive past this place it's always busy. So decided to see why, and let me say, I was very impressed and understand why. The service was great, more importantly the food was awesome, best I have eaten in recent times. The variety is superb, pricing is reasonable, I would be interested if people agree with my assessment. Highly recommend.

Taste is okay, the portions was great size. You have many choice of food, from italian to Korean, Pub food. Service was okay, our drink arrived one by one and first two was quick (a beer and a wine), the last one which was another beer! Took 10 min longer! Asked 3 different waiters for it. Was a bit cold, everyone is doing the steak on stone which is cool, but need a hood or sth! The price was $$$, abit expensive. Its not a BYO. We booked before going, but they accept walk in and there were a few people outside to be seated. We order a tea at around 10:35, they brought it in a take away cup! They close at 11! They charged $1 for using card!

Gets very busy and may have to wait a while for food. And also difficult to get staffs attention. Was reccomended the soft shell burger. Was nice, but ran out of the soft shell pretty quick. Have had the beef burgers in the past and was delightful. Steak was nice, along with the veggies. Atmosphere is quite lively and good for big groups.

Hit up Demazzi's last week Friday with a friend. Called ahead and booked a table as we know it gets pretty busy! We ordered fairly quickly as we had an idea of what we wanted, and i kid you not...our food was on the table in about 3mins! Super hot and fresh, tasty burgers and crazy over the top milkshakes ready to blow our minds in 3 mins! Couldnt believe it! Super friendly staff too! Demazzi seems to be THE place to go! A very hip crowd, not great for families but that might be because I went on a Saturday night...super busy! The food was very generous in size, leaving no room for dessert. And surprisingly reasonably priced! The burgers are so big you'll have to cut it in half. The chips were disappointing and not worth the calories, but considering the size of the burger it wasn't much of a loss. The service was quick...impressive for how busy it was. I'd definitely go back!

New menu. No pancakes or waffles on the breakfast menu. The crumpets were nice, but I’m unsure about the crushed peanuts sitting on the bottom (sorry, the peanut gravel!) I added the jam, drizzled the honey & sprinkled some of these peanuts on top, but may have tasted better without the nuts. Scrambled eggs I’m told are very filling & yum. Oats were also pleasant. We were just handed the menus & immediately asked if we were ready to order.

I am very surprise with their fast service, that really spikes up my expectations. Great variety of food; steaks, burgers, tapas and more. I really enjoyed my tower burger (take note, its only $3 extra compare to their other burgers) very filling and tasty. Great stone grill steaks as well 😉.

The best restaurant I’ve ever been to in the north part of Melbourne. Big, fat and juicy burgers with amazing sauces, both chicken and beef burgers are so delicious. I LOVED their steaks so much, they are very mouth watering and well cooked. The milkshakes and desserts are so unique and yummy! I would suggest you guys to reserve a table before you go there as it often gets crowded.

I've visited a couple of times and the food never disappoint! We haven't tried the breakfast menu, only lunch and dinner. The stone grill specifically rib eye on the bone was amazing. Big selection of fancy burgers and stone cooked dishes. I was sold a dream going there and only had an ok experience. Had the tower burger the pork was really good beef patty ok and chicken disappointing. The shakes are really over the top and pretty disappointing for the type of money you spend I'd not recommend them and not only for your health!

The restaurant itself is very clean and modern and produced goodvibes with good music in the background. On this occasion, We came here for the OTT Milkshakes and desert. Table service 3/5 This is just purely my opinion! but, normally when you are seated at a table, traditionally you are given a bottle/jug of still water and a few glasses. However, I felt that this wasn't even an option! It felt like you HAD to pay for premium water such as Sparkling water. But never the less, we ordered the Sparkling which was enjoyable. OOT Milkshakes 2/5 The look of the OOT Milkshake look was definitely an eye sight to look at. However, the flavours of the OOT Milkshakes were missing. Dont get me wrong, there were massive amounts of chocolate coated on the glass etc etc, but the Milkshake recipe itself was quite disappointing. Very plane to be exact! Chesse Cake 5/5 If you have a sweet tooth, I recommend trying the cheesecake. VERY rich in flavour!

The steaks here were absolutely "melt in your mouth" beautiful. Service was good also. My fellow diners also said that it was the best Sticky Date pudding they have ever had!! If I have to criticize anything, it would be that there should be more "little people" options. Sometimes kids dont want kids meals. We were lucky enough to get an entree Calamari for our little person...... which was devoured in no time. But overall everything was delicious.

The food was yum, and the choice to cook on the hot stone is fun, but lucky it wasn't the only choice. Not sure if it was under staffed, lack of training or just a lack of interest... but the lack of knowledge and the wait times were ridiculous - even to order drinks after being seated, was ages, the door lady even gave up trying to get us a waitress, she ended up taking our order herself. Then I finally got my drink and the glass obviously wasn't cleaned well, as it tasted like beer! (it was Jack daniels) Then after I sent it back I was still charged for it! As for the atmosphere: They have crammed in so many tables we were constantly knocked by waitresses and it was super noisy. Would be a great place if they took out 1/3 of the tables away and trained the staff better.

Great burgers and shakes - friendly staff and great location in Essendon. Lots of parking next door, in the Coles car park. Plus new caramilk cheesecake with a biscuit bottom, caramilk cheese filling with a salted caramel centre topped with a layer of caramilk chocolate, and Demazzi house made, ruby chocolate mini bars on top.

My son took me and my husband to lunch at Demazzi. Husband had the full rack of pork ribs, looked great, just needed more sauce on it. Son had the chicken parmigiana, the biggest one I have ever seen! He enjoyed it very much. I had the salmon with pearl couscous salad. Not enough salad in it. Smallest serve of salmon and the pearl couscous had too much lemon dressing mixed in it. Maybe leave the lemon on the side so people can squeeze how much they want. Still a nice place for a good lunch.

You must try the hot plate! We sat down, ordered and the meal was delivered to us really quickly (since they don’t have to cook the meats). It was Sat afternoon, 3/4 full of people and we got such amazing fast service. We ordered 2 hot plates and drinks for 2 adults and 2 kids. This was enough for the 4 of us as it included various meats, 3 veg and chips or potato. The waitress brought us 4 plates to share out the food. Great tasting meat, seasoned well. Veggies were cooked perfectly. Nice fat chips. Meat cooked to our liking on the hotplate. A good experience. We were too full for dessert :( I would recommend sitting outside on a sunny day. The higher table and chairs we a little uncomfortable for me. The other family members didn’t have an issue with it.

so impressed with this place! so many of my friends rave about it so decided I’d give it a go. the waitress was super accommodating in ensuring we got to sit inside as it was freezing outside. the only downside being that with the restaurant being extremely busy and popular, the noise can make it difficult to hold a conversation with your dinner partner. however, the food was amazing and the serves are very generous. service was very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend this place

Nice place with good outdoor section. Went there on a sunny Thursday lunchtime and the place was mostly full and had a good atmosphere including music over outdoor speakers and good view watching the main Street through Essendon go by. Had their Lucky Mack burger which was rich and nice bun. Came with chips which were light and fluffy. Also had a fresh juice and asked if they could put all the fruit and veg into a juice but was told that don't do changes to the menu - which seemed odd since all juices were the same price. Good vibe and okay food.

I had a Pulled Pork Burger. $19.90 It was served with fries. It was everything I'd hoped it would be and It was plenty big enough for anyone who is hungry. The fries we're the normal thickness of standard chips and we're really nicely cooked and not greasy. The service was good given how busy it was. Probably the only minor downside would be the smoke from the stone grills which cook the food at the tables but it still smells great and there are some outside tables if it really bothers you.

Really noisy sitting in the side room. There seriously needs to be something on the walls and ceiling to soak up the sounds, otherwise don't expect a conversation without yelling at one another. Service was good, prompt and friendly. Possibly even a bit too fast. Food quality was good but not exceptional . Carrots on side of seafood stone plate way over-cooked. Seafood was fresh and good selection. Steak on stone plate also good quality but really felt far too cold as though it had just come out of the fridge, meaning it needed a much longer cooking time. Well seasoned and fresh and tasty accompanying side salad. Overall a good experience but worth sitting outside and next time I'll try the burgers.

The food was very good. Very full, wish I could have eaten more. But the design of the space erked me. Cosmetically, it looks very nice however: acoustics needed to be delt with, too noisy in dining space. The LED lighting was not bright enough and caused glare. Circulation space, I'm sure, does not comply with AS. It's a business I get it - it's bums on seats at the end of the day but I hit another patron as I was trying to get out of my seat! The staff did not have circulation space to serve food to patrons, rather leaning over patrons to give us food. You need to remove a couple of tables or put the appropriate size tables in place. I am certain the tables we ate at were only for drinks, not eating. Too narrow, too crammed.

Perhaps you would like to cook your own steak here at Demazzi? The Hot plate option is available for those who want to cook their own steak to their liking. No matter how you wish to cook your steak, the fillets are always a good portion with a very juicy and tasty experience and worth the price. A menu with plenty to choose from, a comfortable atmosphere and very friendly staff. I do recommend you make a booking first before showing up, as they do get very busy at times.

There were twelve people in our party who all thought the food was good. The problem we had was that because of Mother's Day our booking was for 11am and we needed to leave before 1pm. This was fine except we were reminded repeatedly (the wait staff were pleasant about it) that we had to leave prior to 1pm. We ordered our meals by 11:30am and left at 12:50pm. We had hoped for a relaxing Mother's Day brunch, instead we felt harassed. It does not take half an hour to set a table! The owner was quite rude, (I have since found out that he has that reputation). Would not go there again even though the coffee was great and the food was ok.

My meal was very salty. The rest of my table was satisfied but not too excited about their meals. Steaks are expensive considering you cook them yourself. If I go out for dinner I want someone to cook for me, I'll stay home if I want to cook for myself but I guess that's an experience some people enjoy. It's worth knowing that you will leave the restaurant with your hair and clothes smelling like fat due to so many people cooking steak in the restaurant rather than the kitchen. The restaurant can be very loud but the staff do a great job. Desserts are really good. I think I would only return in the warmer months and sit outside and have something sweet.

I wouldn’t normally bother writing a review even a negative one seems like to much effort! But on this occasion this place deserves it.. I hate gnocchi, but can tolerate it, as it’s always the safe option (no meat, won’t get stuck in teeth, bite size pieces) especially on a date! But this was the first time I’ve ever enjoyed gnocchi... it was nice and soft.. I didn’t have to even chew it... it didn’t come over the top in Napoli sauce, instead with deliscious cheese. Definitely deserves 10 out of 10! And I’m a fussy eater!
