Food was delicious. The Kung po chicken was a good sized serving, and the buns were hot and fresh! Staff were friendly. The space inside is really nice. So is the decor with the beautiful tables. 👌🏼

The main concept of this restaurant is that all their main dishes (on rice) comes in a claypot. This way you will get really hot food and those crispy rice that were directly in contact with the claypot. Presentation-wise it looks great and appetizing, too bad it's lacking any real flavours. Accidentally went inside while looking for Asian food and it turned to he good. Tried prawn dumplings and kongpa chicken they served in pot which is very nice appearance and ofcoarse it as delicious as it looks,I loved both of them there is a bit wait time and the restaurant is so big...

I enjoyed the beef pan dumplings, soft skin and juicy inside. Also the mince eggplant rice pot, it was flavoursome. Service was good.

Ordered the spicy lamb rice, the pork belly rice, and the mixed steamed dumplings. Both of the rice dishes are not too bad but they gave very few meat in propotion to the rice. Make sure you mixed the rice else it'll be too hard at the bottom. I like a bit of the burnt crunch on my rice so I ll leaveind slightly longer. The mixed steamed dumplings were disappointing. * Green - prawn & cucumber: personally i think they are the wrong combo. Just no. * Black - cuttlefish & pork. As above. * light yellow - pork and chives: flavour is a bit lacking. * yellow - mushroom vegie: surprisingly not too bad. I didn't try the pan fried dumplings but quite a few people ordered.

It was just white rice and pork belly being heated up in the pot. The dish was very dry after mixing up everything. It wasnt bad, but i expected the rice to be cooked in the pot instead. Quite pricy for what it is. Could get a similar dish elsewhere without the gimmick of the pot. Cashier was really rude too.

Wanted to try something new and decided to give this place a go. It can be quite daunting if you don't know how to read Chinese characters, or speak Chinese, food here is quite delicious. It can be quite spicy if you can't handle chilli. You basically order at the counter and pay for it, a d take your order number and seat yourself down. Just order what you feel like having, it's a one pot meal concept... just order the right combination... their meat buns are pretty good too.

Really, really good food. Had the beef and potato and my partner had the beef and mushroom. Both were excellent. Very easy to order even for novices or those who usually shy away from eating out at Chinese restaurants due to the ordering process being difficult. The food came out quick and sizzling in the hot pot.

This is a new rice and dumpling restaurant on Elizabeth street. The seat is spacious. Their hotpot rice dish is similar Korean bibimbap and Cantonese 煲仔飯。The size is reasonable for its price (most rice dish is $13.80). Overall the taste is okay and a good choice for colder winter days.

Very disappointing considering it is by the dainty group. The pork belly sizzling dish that I've ordered was very dry and didn't have much sauce. Why bother with the sizzling pot when the rice is not even being cooked in it? I felt like I paid a premium for it as compared to other restaurants that just serve the pork belly and rice on a plate. On top of that, the cashier was very rude and was very impatient when I was ordering.

Tried this place for dinner tonight and it was absolutely delicious! The entrees were: tofu, chinese vegetables, pork bone and tomato soup and sticky pork ribs. I would recommend all except for the ribs which were cold and quite sweet with little meat on them. For the mains I had the mushroom beef hot pot which had a great flavour. The meat was tender and delicious however it was on the drier side as there was a lot of rice and not much sauce. The drinks selection is also great, I would highly recommend trying the classmate teas, especially the green one, and the plum juice which is unique. Would go back to this place again.

The meat and veg were ok. Had their second best seller - braised pork. The burnt crispy rice was really good though. Very smokey and crunchy because the bowl was sizzling hot.

Good food. Serving size and the ingredients is generous. Service is fast and courteous. The Dumpling is fresh and juicy. Drinks are a tad more expensive than usual. Overall a good place to have a good meal.

Dumplings are freshly made on site and great to watch chefs making them in the store front window. We tried 3 of the dumpling dishes and they were excellent and very reasonably priced. The kids loved them as well which is something for 2 and 4 year olds

Walked in randomly, was greeted at the front ordering counter and gestured in to pick my table. Place is clean and spacious, and food delivered to my table. I had the duck & kelp soup, and pork knuckles with broadbeans on rice & greens that comes in a “wok-pot” that keeps it hot for a long time! I was pleased h surprised that it’s not oily or salty like most Chinese eateries, I wasn’t thirsty afterwards which I hope it meant there’s little or no MSG! Wish there’s more sauce, and it’s a big serving, could serve 2! This is not a place if you expect service - so I’m reviewing this within the expectation that it’s a “canteen style” Chinese eatery, so it’s pretty good! 🌟
