Stumbled upon Flipping Awesome by chance, and thought I'd give it a try seeing as burgers are my jam, and to top it off, they serve Strawberry Daquiris, which, when you're not a massive alcohol drinker, this is one of the few things I really love. They're super friendly inside, and the area is spacious and clean. There's a good range of various burgers - including Beyond Meat ones - and some sliders, salads and sides too. The food came out in good time, and everything was delicious and as awesome as their name suggests. I highly recommend coming here if you love burgers and booze too.

First time dining at Flipping Awesome Burgers and we had a very positive experience. The staff was super accommodating and friendly, and we really enjoyed the food. We were so impressed with the quality of the gluten free burgers and the fact that we weren’t charged extra for them, or for swapping regular cheese with vegan cheese. We’ll definitely be back!

Honestly, THE BEST BURGER I’ve ever had in Melbourne. Had the Chicken Parmi burger, it was huge in size and tasted so fresh. Chips also are phenomenal. Great outdoor area at the back. Was blown away, this place is phenomenal. Definitely coming back. Also has Vegan and gluten free options and a massive drinks list. Staff are so friendly, seriously impressed. Everyone I went with commented how fresh and amazing the food was. Amazing atmosphere.

A rare find, the genuine desire to please their customer was tangible by the sincere interest in our dining experience. The burgers were juicy and exactly as advertised on the menu which is what all patrons hope for. The kids meals were perfect sizing and gobbled up (also rare with my fussy eaters) and the adult burgers were very satisfying. In terms of their food and service they are clearly striving for excellence and I’d say they are not far off. Great experience and we will be back again.

My favourite burgers! My mates and I have been coming to this place since it opened. Nice staff and a great beer garden. The fries and shakes are damn good too. My personal favourite is the Flipping Parmi with Pineapple. Perfect for whatever type of feed you feel like.

Came here with my vegetarian sister and she was super excited there was six vege burger options. Onion rings were also tasty. The beer garden was really nice out the back, although they weren’t clearing the tables fast... I think they forget to look. But will be back :-)

Great burgers and really nice & friendly service! We ordered two beef burgers — the DownUnder and the Some Like It Hot. Both burgers were picture-perfect. The patties were generous and very juicy. I added Cheese to my Hot burger and it definitely hit all the right spots — that bad boy packs some heat and went down a treat with my cocktail. We ordered a Long Island Iced Tea and a Watermelon Margarita. Again, both cocktails were delicious. Pay attention that the Margarita is a frozen one, as the menu doesn’t specify this. The fries on the side were perfect too! We’re definitely coming back for more!!

Great vibes. Came here on a Tuesday afternoon after a morning out on the beach - and wow, did flipping awesome deliver. We got the Kahuna, Flipping Awesome, In A Pickle as well as the Loaded Classic Fries, and all the food was incredible. Plated nicely, it was the perfect food to fill us up ready to go back to the beach for another round. The prices were also super reasonable (even a bit on the cheaper side) and definitely felt bang for buck Service was also extremely friendly - and made us feel very welcomed. Music choices were great as well. Only hope is that they check vax certificates and have people check in as it was not done for us - and thus likely not others either 🥲

Yesterday's experience The food was delicious but the waiting time was terrible. We waited for around 45 minutes to get our burgers. And my young sister's order went beyond that up to an hour! Our drinks became hot due to the long waiting time, so we couldn't enjoy that either! We couldn't enjoy our meal as a family because 3 of us got their burgers first but my young sister got hers after 10-15 minutes so she was left eating alone. I think he gave us a free plate of chips. We were supposed to cruise the area but due to the waiting time we had to cancel that.

During this Melbourne lockdown, I wanted to send a salad to my mother who lives in a different suburb. I did a search on one of the food delivery platforms and ordered a Caeser Salad from Flipping Awesome Burgers. She later called me to say that this was one of the best Caesars she's had. In fact there was so much chicken that she kept some to eat later on. There was however a misunderstanding with the pricing, but as soon as management found out, they kindly contacted me to clarify the situation AND sent another salad the next day as a gesture of goodwill. Gotta love a business that really cares about doing the right thing for their customers.

Dined here for lunch yesterday. Sat outside in sun. Prompt, friendly service including fresh water in the bowl for our dog. Yummy food. Didn't really set out to have a burger so was pleased to see options such as wraps or "bare" Had chicken schnitzel with salad, pesto and avo in a wrap. Delicious tender chicken, yummy crisp salad and soft wrap. Will return and try other burgers- they have a range of sauces and I'm keen to have the chipotle mayo. Super impressed with the value for money - I'd recommend the 'In A Pickle' with Bacon and the 'Magic Mushroom' I think the big groups need to watch out as there are some serious new kids on the block. If you're a local to Hampton or surrounding suburbs you need to check this out
