Comments of Gourmet Curry Hut Indian Cuisine

Loved this place!!!! Really good food and not too expensive!!!
Also the person serving us was really thoughtful. He was really thorough in asking questions about how we wanted the spice level to be, what we felt like eating, if we wanted the Entrees before our mains, suggested a couple of things in the menu, etc. :)
Highly recommend the lamb chops and buttered chicken!!!
J. R.
The butter chicken here will melt your heart. It really is the best. Cures a hangover. Heals the soul.
The service is a bit….”hood”. Takeaway available. No loyalty to customers given Covid? Shameful. The restaurant right now is very quiet compared to other restaurants in the foot print. I highly recommend a proper loyalty program so you don’t get eaten by your competition.
I’ll be back. For sure.
Happy birthday Jay xx Curry for dinner babes x

We had an amazing experience at Gourmet Curry Hut a few nights back. Every stage of the experience was great.
All staff were extremely kind and helpful at all time and were happy to assist you with anything. Excellent customer service.
Food… all of our dishes had their own unique taste. So many flavours! So delicious!
J. P.
Great little restaurant. Bal is an absolute gem. The food was absolutely Delish. Great service. Great food. Lovely experience.

Not my first time eating here. The food served here is purely authentic and one of the best Indian restaurant that I have eaten at. They always managed to cater to my spice level (very spicy) which not many restaurants I visited could adhere to. Service is great too! Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants true authentic Indian food.
D. K.
We ordered some breads, Chicken Korma and Paneer tikka massala for dinner. The taste was okayish, not as expected. Paneer tikka massala was merely decent but the Korma was really bland. Although Naans and Paneer Kulcha was fine.
M. P.
Amazing little indian restaurant. The madras and bhaji were great, but the tandoor cooked lamb chops were out of this world. Mix in friendly staff and you get a place that I'll certainly be back for more.
P. K.
Amazing food. We have tried many Indian restaurants in Melbourne and I have to say this is top of my list now. The flavour of their foods are so delicious and tasty that reminded me of authentic taste of Indian food. Highly recommend this place!
J. T.
We stopped off here for a tasty treat and were not disappointed. The service was fast and the food was full of flavour. I could've done with the usual prompt of 'Do you want rice with that?' as in this occasion I completely forgot and had to prepare my own when I got home. The butter chicken was creamy, saucy, spicy fo' sho'
If it was cheaper I would eat here on the regular
S. K.
We had lunch today at this restaurant. The food was yum. The place is hidden in the arcade near H&M in Bourke street. We ordered naan, sahi paneer, chicken curry and Channa curry. Overall I like the food but it’s bit pricey compared to other Indian restaurants and the quantity of the curries was good too. The only issue is with the space, the restaurant is a bit congested and the tables were small. The staff were 👍
K. G.
Outstanding, mouth watering Indian cuisine! Would highly recommend to all and look forward to returning. Staff were delightful.
E. G.
The food was delicious , the service was so prompt and friendly. Visited with 2 teenagers and we all left full and super satisfied. If you enjoy Indian food visit when you’re in the CBD worth it 😊
Thank you for making our family dinner out a time we will remember fondly 🍛😊
R. J.
Hands down the best tasting Indian food so far. I have been here for 3+ years and no restaurant has impressed me so far. If you are in the city you must give this restaurant a try! And also great customer service.
L. T.
The first time I went to Gourmet Curry Hut I was blown away by the quality and taste of food. Service was amazing and the food is seriously to die for. The butter chicken you cant go wrong. Located in the nicest little spot, worth making your way there for authentic dishes.

I couldn’t fault this place. It’s a beauty.
Every now and then I get a sudden and serious desire for Indian food. Today was such a day and this place came up on my web search. It’s in a smallish location off an arcade in the CBD. It’s not fancy but it’s certainly very well ordered and run.
Everything was working well here today. I was given a cheery greeting and service was polite, friendly and very efficient. The onion bhajis to start we’re great. This is a favourite snack. These ones were the soft side but had very good texture and beautifully balanced flavour and spice. The vegetable korma to follow was faultless too. Hot and creamy with really good flavour again. The spice was perfect again too. I ordered one of the speciality rices too which also turned out to be perfect. Fluffy, light as a feather and just super with the vegetable korma. The dishes were good sized serves too which is important. Even the raita was a decent size as well.
This was a really really delicious meal. The perfect quick Indian lunch. I couldn’t give higher praise than to wish this cafe was in my area and not the city.
R. S.
I celebrated my wife’s birthday here tonight and the food was authentic and tasty. We ordered Saag paneer, chicken tikka masala and dal tadka with a variety of naans and the food was amazing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even gave us free gulab jamans as a treat for her birthday which was really nice. Best Indian food we have tried in Melbourne
P. M.
Fantastic place. Really good food. It's family run, the hosts were very friendly and we're attentive to detail when ordering the meal. Be warned, the hot is seriously hot, they do not hold back!
They produced generous portion sizes, a really good feed. I recommend if you're in the area and are feeling more than peckish!!
S. D.
Absolutely the best Indian Currie's we have ever had. We are from NZ and have tried many Indian restaurants there but this one beats them hands down. They also deliver large portions and heaps of meat. Had the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tika Masala. Great staff also. We will return.
Y. W.
I rarely find a really good Indian restaurant in the CBD but this place is excellent!
The Vindaloo was quite spicy but addictive. The dhal saag was fresh. The lemon rice was very fragrant. Last one, the tandoori mushroom was full of flavour!
The staff was very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience we had here.
B.
Absolutely lovely staff and really great food. I recommend having some of the delicious lime and mango pickles with your meal. Very accommodating to vegan preferences too!
S.
This place must be one of the best Indian places in Melbourne, if not the best. We had the vegetarian and non-vegetarian thali, and OMG the food was just SO good!! I’ve had plenty of butter chicken before, but never tasted one this delicious. The rogan josh was also very tasty and the meat very tender. Even the pappadums which I usually feel is a bit meh was yummy and perfectly crispy! From the vegetarian plate, my favourite was the mutter paneer. We also had masala chai which was perfect for a cold day. The portions were huge and we had to take home some leftovers. The service was pleasant and quick, and we had a nice chat with the owner/manager. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!!! Will definitely be returning!
S. V.
Visited gourmet curry hut with my family based in Aussie. The thali set and tandoor prawns are must-try! Authentic indian food and great service~
S. B.
Well, I can't say that food was not good or something, but felt the portion size were quite small. We went for fish curry and rice and afterwards felt quite empty. So ended up having chicken tikka, an entree item.. Lol. The place it self was very small with congested seating arrange with some 5 tables placed on the corridor. The staff was friendly and attentive. Service was reasonably quick.
F. W.
Came here with my mum and aunt for my birthday lunch.
The service was amazing the waiter was super attentive and kind. For 2 rounds of drinks and 3 meals we paid $109, for that price you'd expect it to be mid to low quality but it was AMAZING. Genuinely well made well present food from a simple small menu that manages to pack variety and flavour in well. We left a $50 because we were so happy with it.
F. P.
This is the best Indian eatery in the CBD. Rich, textured dishes, crisp, buttery naan and friendly and helpful staff all blend together to create a perfect inner city food experience. Possible to get a fantastic meal under $20. Not a huge establishment so even when busy food arrives quickly. Amazing.
M. Z. L.
I stumbled upon this little restaurant by accident. The reviews weren't lying. The service is very polite and friendly, the food is delicious. I had the chicken curry. They even ask the level of spiciness you can handle. It is not cheap, but not very expensive either. I would say it is mid range. I very highly recommend.
K. M.
Went there for my birthday dinner with my party on Friday.
Butter chicken was top notch, I’ve also never had mushroom based curry before but we also had the mushroom beefy curry which was also really good. Garlic naan was great. And the service was awesome.
There was a bit of an issue with the payment device - the staff there we so hospitable and gave us a couple complimentary beers for the inconvenience. Great little place
m. s.
What an amazing bunch of people!! Satwant g and his sons..we had an amazing experience..amazing authentic Indian restaurant..decent prices..by far the best Indian restaurant in Melbourne.
C. P.
Definitely just ate the best Indian food in my life. Special mention for the butter chicken and all the staff and owners. What a great night
R. D.
Highly recommend! The food was delicious, the team even better- Made my birthday dinner truly one to remember. Thanks Guys
J. O.
Amazing food and service. They were even kind enough to cater to my booking request for a quiet corner. Highly recommend the tandoori combo as an entree
B. C.
Truly the BEST Indian food I have ever had! The sauces were so incredibly tasty and the meat was super tender! Was super reasonably priced as well and was not disappointed. Food was served fresh within 10 minutes and the staff were very friendly. They offered both takeaway and eat in. We chose eating in as the restaurant had a very cosy and semi romantic environment. Highly recommend!
J. H.
Tucked away in the arcade it was pure luck I stumbled on this place and I'm so glad I did. Literally the most delicious Indian food I've ever had and very well priced for the city.
N. R.
Delicious and authentic food! We loved it. The boys were super friendly, I highly recommend it!
J. F.
Yum! Really enjoyed the goat curry and daal makhani. The host was exceptionally delish and gel off the bone. The naan was also light - it didn’t have the density naan normally has which I really enjoyed
J. K.
An amazing find while on a work trip. The food is aromatic and spicy, just as curry should be. The owner is a generous and genuine guy. I'll be back every time I visit Melbourne as a highlight!
C. B.
A place where I go to when cravings for Indian food. A portion of their kashmiri rice, garlic butter naan, butter chicken, saag paneer, lentils, and a glass of mango lassie, life is good. Always good to see the brothers, Paul and Lufjit when dining in.
B. B.
Best Indian restaurant I've ever been to. Butter chicken is out of this world. The owners are legends
J. F.
Really nice and cosy place with great customer service. Generous portion size. Reasonable pricing on variety of dishes. Gourmet thali with mango lassi is my go to combo.
A. L.
amazing service, large portions. Prefect garlic naan. Highly reccomended
S. V.
Amazing Fresh Authentic vegetarian Indian food..great experience..great people…made our Friday night even better!!
T. B.
Service was friendly& efficient. Food was yum, really enjoyed the authentic cuisine& environment.
S. D.
The owner and staff were supportive and friendly. Non-veg starters were awesome specially chicken tandoori. But in veg starters, just mushrooms were available so our vegetarian friends just had to eat mushrooms in starters. Main course was ok. Felt quantity was bit less and bit overpriced. For repeat order had to wait long; could be because of peak hour. Overall, it was not very good or not very bad type of experience. Thanks to the owner and the staff.
J. B.
Amazing food, always a lovely time. The staff are always friendly and very attentive, couldn't ask for a better time
S. G.
The food is really delicious. Dal makhani is just awesome. Must visit place. 👍😋
W. G.
Excellent quality of the food. Pleasant staff and owner. Wonderful dinner.
J. Y.
Good Indian food and friendly staff. If you are looking for a really yummy Indian curry in CBD, I highly recommend this place. It’s just in the middle of the city, easy to get and have nice curry. Plus, all we had were affordable price.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I have been coming to this family run restaurant on and off for the past 18 years depending which state my work takes me. This is one of my highlights of Melbourne, enjoying such an authentic and perfectly cooked curries with soft and fluffy Naan on the side. The staff here are super friendly, always greet you with a smile and tailor your spice level and allergies in their food. I think the Tandoori platter I had last week when I was in Melbournue deserve a special mention.
Thanks for your great hospitality and great food. You have a life long regular customer!
K. R.
Best butter chicken (tomato based) I have tasted. Went here for lunch and everything was made fresh. One main curry can be shared between 2 people. Just order a set of rice and naan. The flavour is just so rich.
S. C.
I grew up in a country traditionally cooking Indian cuisine. Tastiest curries in Melbourne. I had the 'Yellow Dahl' with mango lassi. Best I've ever had - full of fresh herbs - very tasty.....
J. L.
Food was ok, we asked for medium, but it was too hot for us to eat, the guy who served us did not ask if we were enjoying our meal.
s. s.
Really awesome food and very friendly people. Had a great time there.
J. H.
Curry is one of my all time favourite meals to enjoy. I found this place based on google reviews and though looked like the best place. It did not disappoint the food was delicious the service was 10/10 and the speed of the meals coming out was perfect. I look forward to returning to Melbourne and having this again. The owner was welcoming as well I highly recommend
s. s.
I went last night with my partner and the food was great. Family run business for over 30 years so no doubt they have the recipes down pat. Very friendly and welcoming. Don't usually do reviews but this has been the best butter chicken I've had in Melbourne. Get it with the garlic roti or naan. Definitely will be returning.
S. D.
Went as a group of around 15 people. Food was nice. There's usually a small wait. Overall a great place.
r. m.
Fantastic food and great service. Located in a small side lane, this restaurant appears low key; but once the food arrives, they exceed expectations. Recommended!!
L. S.
Very delicious and authentic Indian food. Friendly staff and reasonable price.

First impressions on arrival was a little underwhelming but boy did that change once the food arrive!! DELICIOUS 😋 authentic Indian food. Outstanding service. Great hospitality by the owner himself. (toilet facility could be improved). Recommended for tasty food.
B. A. H.
So happy they opened as soon as lockdown was lifted (again) and, even better, they managed to retain their rightful place at the helm of our preferences for Indian food.
Only the next lockdown will keep us from coming back again, as often as possible.
A. B.
Food in general was good.
People are extremely accomodating and polite here.
D. M.
We've Just enjoyed yet another delicious lamb madras and chicken tika massage. This place never fails to serve amazing food and always with a smile. If you've never tried this curry hut do, if you have well you already know how yummy the food is.
D. E.
Been walking past this place for 15 years, finally stopped. A great find. Artful food, excellent service, inexpensive. I guess their longevity is testament to quality.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in the heart of the CBD !! The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had in a while 👍🏻Highly recommend!

Went tonight after arriving in Melbourne from Mildura. The food was amazing; the exact right amount of spice and taste. You could taste that the food was made fresh to order. The staff were very accomodating and friendly, willing for a chat. Will be back!
A. K.
I’ve been coming here for 13 years now to get my weekly curry fix with my family. This easily is the best Indian in Australia. We usually get the butter chicken (rich and creamy which is perfect) Lamb korma, lamb vindaloo(my husband loves his chilli) with saffron rice, cheesy garlic naans. So glad you guys got through this Covid period and have reopened. See you guys Friday night and keep up the great work to the two brothers that own it. 5/5
N. S.
Friendly staff and great food. Lots of vegetarian options. We asked for extra spicy lamb vindaloo, and they delivered!
Z. K.
Delicious Indian food. The food was so tasty and the service was excellent. I also loved that they advertised they are halal as it is hard to find halal Indian restaurants. This will definitely be one of the regulars we visit from now on. Loved it.
M. F.
If you have been looking for authentic North Indian food in Melbourne, you should definitely give Gourmet Curry Hut a visit. They have food for every palate from mild to hot :)
I loved the chicken tikka masala, tandoori roti and coconut rice I had there. The hosts were warm and friendly and very attentive to our needs.
I am definitely coming back for more.
j. l.
Excellent meal, started with the veggie somas freshly cooked very tasty, then the traditional Indian curry with lamb , what a treat.
This restaurant has been here 20 years cooking my favourite dishes, the staff are friendly, what a little gem in Melbourne.
s. i.
Amazing service and wonderful food!! Will absolutely be returning again!
J. P.

V. P.
Great food and owners! Food was perfect balance of spice and flavours! Fulfilled my craving! Thank you for the chat and great food!
A. M.
Myself and friends have been coming to this restaurant for the last 4 years from Germany for the F1. We can honestly say that this is one of the best Indian restaurants around the globe. The food is spectacular, flavoursome and very fresh. The heat level is cooked to the level you prefer. Very clean place and the staff are very welcoming, hence we always return. Although we were devastated that the F1 got cancelled but are glad that we will be eating here for the next 4 nights. Keep up the amazing work 10/10
B. D.
Best Indian food I've had in Australia. Food was full of flavour & felt really fresh.
Was brilliant & the chef came out to talk after.
K. F.
Such an awesome authentic Indian experience. The food was full of flavour and perfectly balanced. Rich flavours and a great spice level. BYO was an added bonus. The service was some of the best I've experienced in the CBD. Would highly recommended this restaurant.
N. L.
Amazing delicious Indian food. Cannot wait for you guys to reopen 😃
D. W.
Amazing and we will be back. We have struggled to find places to eat in the CBD with kids but I can highly recommend this place. The food was delicious and well priced, very nice flavours and each dish had a distinct taste meat was tender and naan was delicious! Not only was the food very authentic and tailored to your spice level, they genuinely took covid measures seriously. It was the simple things in taking the children into account - they were not just tolerated rather they engaged the kids in discussion, checked in with us around what the kids would like and how spicy they would want, provided plates just before the meal was served so kids were not attempting to play with them, checked who needed what utensils where needed and placed food on the table in a way that we didn't immediately have butter chicken spilt everywhere. It was one of the few places in the CBD where I felt relaxed with kids rather on super alert, if you are in Melbourne with kids - dine here!
M. A.
Super friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I had the lamb Korma and chicken rice, both were delicious, the Nan bread was also super. They just can improve their rice a little more but still very nice though.
The only one that could really make a difference is if they have hand washing facilities as the current situation is really not working. You need to get a bathroom key then take the lift to the first floor which is a long story. Otherwise everything was perfect 👌🏻
P. B.
First lunch out since the lockdown easing and we enjoyed some fantastic curry at the gourmet curry hut. We ordered butter chicken, lamb korma, cheese naans and saffron rice and it was all absolutely delicious. We have found our new favourite Indian
C. R.
Looks can be deceiving! Great little hidey hole down 'the hub' on Little Collins. Been there forever apparently but you'd miss it if you weren't a local. Worth a stop on a cold winter night. Vindaloo is hot and the beer is cold. Can't go wrong really.
L. R.
Amazing food, excellent customer service by a family owned & run business. Attention to detail to make your visit one to remember that keeps u coming back time & again 😊
N. P.
Very good Indian food. Not oily or with colours. Really enjoyed the food. One less star only for ambiance.
H. K.
I can't stop bragging about my experience at Gourmet Curry Hut. It's a journey of delicious traditional Indian food. You could customize the spice level. Each dish is so thoughtfully prepared and presented. The dishes are excellent portion sizes for sharing to be able to taste your way around quite a bit of the menu. Their butter chicken, goat curry and fish curry is to die for. Highly recommended as your top Indian food experience in Melbourne!
A. R.
Outstanding flavours! The staff can’t be more accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere is super down to earth. Food is extremely delicious. Highly recommended
J. S.
This was an amazing Indian, good service, perfect quality food, if your looking for an English Indian come here. Also very reasonable pricing. Will be a return customer. Thankyou :)
M. M.
I have been going to Gourmet Curry Hut for over 7 years. A little family-run restaurant with consistently delicious food. Very attentive and welcoming service. Highly recommended!
S. S.
Excellent food. I’d rate this as the best Indian restaurant and I’m from Toronto which has the biggest population of Indians outside of India. Beautiful ambience and great service as well. The dishes and appetizers were delectable. We were a family of 9 and every single person including our picky kids had a great experience. Thanks for the hospitality.
A. S.
Always a good experience here! My boyfriend and I go to a lot of Indian restaurants and think this is one of the best by far! Quite a good location and fun vibe, food is reasonably priced and good quality. Staff are also nice and helpful, oh and drinks are cheap! What more could you want.
N. R.
Excellent place with amazing food and amazing vegan options with amazing service. Good place to spend time with friends and family. I’m vegan and I was so happy that they explained what I can order. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you once again
J. K.
I frequently come to Melbourne for holidays and Gourmet Curry Hut is a definite visit for me! Since the first time I chanced upon this restaurant, their service and food quality has been consistent, and they never fail to impress me. The staff at the restaurant are very friendly and frequently check on their customers. The food there is just delicious and are very affordable. The butter chicken is a must try, with just the right amount of spices, pair that up with their garlic naan, and you get a really filling and tasty meal. What's good about the restaurant is that they cater to every individuals' needs, with the option of choosing spiciness levels for the dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant for those looking for authentic and delicious North Indian Food! Thank you Gourmet Curry Hut for your excellent service and delicious food!

I had the most amazing and delicious Indian dinner of my life last night here in this lovely restaurant. My wife and I had the butter chicken, garlic prawn curry and the tandoori combo and it was absolutely unreal. The food was so rich in flavour and great in portion size. The owners are a lovely family and definitely make you feel like you are welcome. Thank you once again guys we have found our new favourite Indian restaurant.

By far the best Indian food we have ever tried. They also allowed us to choose mild medium or spicy for each dish. Highly recommended

Love Gourmet Curry Hut! We have eaten here so many times and always enjoyed our meals. The biryanis and curries are delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed. The staff are very good and the owners are extremely attentive and considerate. They have always catered for my allergies extremely well and I have always been so grateful for this. Definitely recommend eating here.
S. N.
Great tasting Indian food! Small place but clean and nice.
M. W.
Really a nice place to dine. Great customer service, professional and polite. Generous potion sizes, great tasting dishes from mild to really spice. The butter chicken is a great choice.
P. S.
Tasty food! Portions/prices are a bit too big for just one person to have a full Indian cuisine experience, so definitely bring a friend or two so you can share around.

The moment you set foot in the restaurant you notice its lovely design, you are then greeted by one of the friendly staff. The menu is diverse and rich with various north indian dishes. I ordered the chicken biryani, it had a great amount of food, and it's taste was really delicious. The prices are reasonable. Overall eating here was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend trying it out.
S. W.
We ate here last night and the food was amazing. My wife ordered butter chicken and it was so tasty and rich in flavour. I ordered the lamb biriyani with a tandoori combo and the food was cooked to perfection. We don’t usually eat Indian food much but after our experience we will definitely be regulars here. 10/10

Visiting from Sydney and went out for dinner with my wife last night and found this restaurant on google so we thought we should try it out due to its high ratings. Soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff. They have a wide range of beers but we definitely went for the local Indian beer Kingfisher. One of the best parts of the night was when the food arrived it looked amazing. We could see they put a lot of effort in making our food look amazing. Once we tried the Butter chicken and Chicken saag we knew we had located one of the best Indian restaurants we had dined in. The food was rich in flavour and we could tell they used fresh ingredients. Thanks for the lovely night guys and great stories :) we will definitely be back with our extended family.
V. R.
I’ve had indian food all around the world, and these guys are top of the class!
B. P.
Outstanding food, small place in a laneway. Great flavor and spice, will be back
P. S.
We rarely rate restaurants but this place deserves a very high rating. The butter chicken was so rich in flavour and the cheese/garlic naan accompanied it perfectly. We will surely be back. The staff are very friendly. Very appreciative for your food and service gourmet Curry hut

My friend and I came today for lunch with her daughter. The waiters and owners were super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. All of the food was really yummy and flavorful, we will most definitely be returning. The decoration was welcoming and everything was clean. Came here before a comedy festival show at Town Hall and was blown away. The food was delicious and packed full of flavour, the staff were so kind and the prices were very affordable

Went here last week and must say the food was excellent, some of the best Indian I have had. The staff were very polite with great service. I ordered butter chicken and cheese and garlic naan and both were delicious. Keep up the great work! I know I will definitely be recommending to family & friends and going back to next time I visit Melbourne.
J. S.
The food our family had was perfect, easily one of the best Indian restaurants anywhere. The curries were so flavoursome and rich with authentic spices. We ordered butter chicken for the kids which we kept mild, lamb roganjosh and chicken madras both hot and they cooked it perfect to our level we wanted. The naan was so fluffy and soft unlike some places we have tried where it is over cooked or cracks like a biscuit. Overall we highly recommend this to everyone. You’ve just gained new regulars. Staff was also very helpful.

Food was incredible! Really fast and kind service. Portion sizes were generous and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed! Can’t wait to bring our friends and family back for a meal soon! Thankyou!

I’ve never found a place where I’ve needed to review and let them know how good the food is but Gourmet Curry Hut has delivered the goods. The curries were rich in flavour and the samosa was the best I’ve tried anywhere around the globe. Highly recommend. You have a new regular. Keep up the great work. The family that owns this are very friendly and customised our food to the way we wanted it. Love your work. 10/5 if I could rate that.
J. B.
Thanks to the gourmet Curry hut family for making us feel very welcome: your food is a 100/10.. were so happy that we’ve stumbled across use. Your butter chicken and madras is next level. We’ve been to India but your curries are next level, packed with flavour. Also the staff made us feel like family and we will never forget that. Thanks guys will surely come back on our next visit.
M. J.
Tasty warm Indian food everytime. Tried the Thali and some of the other curries and deals too. Great rotis and Naans too. Thanks!
M. A.
The presentation style is great and the place is full of energy, vitality and delicious food that makes you warmer on Indian music I love it so much
N. S.
One of the most decent and authentic places to have food. Never disappointed. This place will start to grow on you and become your go to place for a wholesome meal! 🤩

One of our freinds has selected this place as a part of our new year night celebrations. We were bit exhausted in finding this place and were frustrated by the time we reached the point
Later, the dishes malai koftha and panner curry were awesome with butter naans and enjoyed the hospitality as well.
Food 5/5
Hospitality 5/5
Ambience 3/5
Overall thanks for the best food
A. A.
Best Indian food we have tried in Melbourne since moving from Saudi Arabia. If you are looking for quality then this is definitely the place to eat.
C. S.
The people that work here are the most humble and lovely people. They really care about their business and providing excellent quality food and a great experience for their customers.
I would definitely go back!!
DELICIOUS!

First time ordering from this restaurant due to there good reviews and the food was so rich in flavor. We ordered a takeaway lamb korma, authentic chicken jalfrezi and butter chicken and were really impressed. Will definitely be ordering again :)
T. P.
Perfect Indian food. Tasty, presented well, warm friendly atmosphere. My wife and I have been here three times and each time we've been pleasantly surprised. I cannot pick a favourite dish as they were all perfect. Would rate higher if we could.
E. G.
Having an Indian partner we eat a lot of Indian every where we travel to and are very picky. But this restaurant was the best we’ve come across in the last 15years of being introduced to the cuisine. The food is so rich in flavour and the serving size is very generous. We will be back. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys a great curry. 5/5

Just last week i had the Tandoori Chicken with Garlic Naan. To my surprise it also came with a small side salad. The flavours were well balanced and delightful, leaving me satisfied.
A good value to cost ratio.
Additionally the staff were friendly and welcoming, giving the restaurant a great atmosphere.
H. S.
Best butter chicken and korma we’ve ever tried anywhere. Great family run restaurant. Wish we could rate it higher than 5. Will definitely be back on our next trip down from parramatta. Thanks for the great hospitality. We never rate unless it’s a perfect meal and you have set the bar to a new level.
A. D.
Covid safe, lovely food and lovely wait staff. Really pleasant and friendly. Even gave my friend and I dessert as it was her birthday. Great way to settle into a city evening with restrictions easing.
a. s.
Great little restaurant, flavoursome curries and some of the warmest service you’ll find in Melbourne :) the butter chicken is amazing, the thali plate is also great value for money and suits people like me who can’t decide which curry they want!
M. S.
Amazing food, great staff and friendly family which own it. The owners not only helped us with the food which we ordered but the brothers went above and beyond to write down places to visit for sight seeing and shopping(including calling places to see if they are open over the holiday period) We have never had anyone do this for us, Greatly appreciated. The curries we ordered were fish curry, Roganjosh and butter chicken with naan, lemon and zera rice. Each dish was cooked to perfection and totally different to one another. Will definitely be back on our next trip. Thank you so much for your hospitality and your help. Highly recommended.
J. L.
The best Indian food we have eaten worldwide!
Excellent menu - superb range with the only problem being a wonderful dilemma of choice! Great service from the moment you arrive, with very pleasant and attentive staff. Centrally located, hidden away in the Hub Arcade and highly recommended!
Do yourself a favour - dine at Gourmet Curry Hut!
P. S.
Nice little Indian restaurant. The curries and dal were very authentic and tasty. Tandoori roti was a hit. Could improve customer service. Will definitely go again.
J. G.
Tasty and authentic. Good price, friendly service. 👍

Last night came into have a meal with my wife for our anniversary. This place has the best Indian food that we’ve ever tried. We’re from New York and here for our anniversary and we’re so glad we found this restaurant. We have a lovely rich and full of flavour butter chicken, a lamb madras which was also nice a rich unlike majority of the restaurants that we’ve been too where it is watered down. We ordered both curries hot and the young waiter told us our hot is pretty hot, so we decided to go medium and it was the perfect level for us (thanks to the young man for the tip) we accompanied our curries with nice fluffy naan bread and cumin seed rice(think it’s called seera or zeera rice) that also was recommended from our waiter (I forgot to mention the samosas for entre which were nice and golden and so had a mouth full of flavour every bite). Overall we had an amazing experience where the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel as if we were at home. Thank you once again to the staff at Gourmet Curry Hut.
D. M.
This place is by far one of the best Indian places I've had the pleasure of eating in Melbourne.
Service was exceptional and the food was amazing!
Make sure to have there Lamb Korma and Butter Chicken. You are bound to have a great time with a kingfisher or two!
H. P.
This restaurant has truly earned it's good reviews - authentic flavors, very friendly staff and bollywood music! We really enjoyed our dinner here. Restaurant is half outside, so wear something warm during the winter.
S. L.
A place which is best for family outing & Food obviously. They served the best quality food with lots of variety. Their dishes are really delicious and fulfilling yet very reasonable. Moreover their staff is very prompt and hospitable. I highly recommend anyone who loves Indian food to go visit this place. Loved their ecstatic ambience and cordial hospitality. Ensuring the hygiene issues they become one of the best out the crowd. Will definitely be back

Taste is out of this world, up there with their incredible customer service.

Delicious food but the plates are very small

I’ve only been in Melbourne for four weeks and love to explore the city and it’s interesting arcades and side streets. Last Friday night 05/07/2019 I was walking around and found this small little Indian place called the Gourmet Curry Hut. I love Indian food and though I’d give it a go.
I walked in and was soon seated the staff were amazing, friendly and inviting. Great customer service is very rare to find (I work in retail management)
I ordered the vegetable Samosas for starters. Two came out on a plate and were yummy, the accompanying sauce was perfect. At most Indian restaurants I now start to worry, after 49 years of eating Indian food from London’s west end to the Raffles hotel in Singapore, I’ve learnt one thing... most get the entree down pact and then fail at the main. To my joy and happiness the Curry Hut was the real deal. I ordered the Prawn jalfrezi for main. The prawns were full of flavour and the gravy was perfect. I ordered it in medium spice and couldn’t be happier.
The buttered nann bread was soft with just a hint of that charcoal flavour that makes a nann bread perfect. I’ll be ordering two next time, one is never enough when done this well.
The rice was soft and perfect, cooked to perfection from a team who care about making customers happy.
I couldn’t be happier than I was when I left.
Perfect food, amazing service and great value for money. I highly recommend you try this little gem out. Much more enjoyable than the Indian meal I had a few days earlier at Crown Casino.
My thanks to The Gourmet Curry Hut. I look forward to coming back to dine again very soon.
Best regards
Michael D....

Came here after walking passed it for over 10years during my lunch break I decided to take the wife in for her birthday lunch. I ordered butter chicken, tandoori prawns, rice and cheese naan. Mate this food was so good that I ended up ordering take out for dinner. I took away lamb korma and butter chicken and it was really good. Medium Spice was spot on and the flavours were unlike I’ve ever tried before. My new favourite restaurant. Thanks guys for making the birthday special and cooking everything fresh. Will be back once a week.
M. S.
Had a delicious chicken korma and the best garlic naan I’ve had in a long time. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food you receive. Highly recommend if you’re after some Indian Curry in the CBD area. The servers were lovely too.
I. G.
Simply the best. A hidden gem. Went twice during our brief stay in Melbourne and both lunch and dinner fare were exceptional. Excellent service and we'll priced being a bonus on the super meals.

If you like Indian food, you well like this restaurant 😊

My husband and I felt like Indian food..We went to Gourmet Curry Hut Little Collins Street Melbourne today..The food was amazing, home cooked with love..
and a Family owned business which makes a big difference..Nothing was a problem!!!We were treated like a King and Queen..The meal we had..was an Indian Platter + dessert..We were so happy with the price and the size of the meal!! YUMMO!!!...Great job guys..We will visit you again.. My allergies are very bad and the guys modified many of the dishes for me at very short notice!!! Thanks Luvjit and Paul greatly appreciated
G. A.
I am just visiting Melbourne and was really craving Indian food. I found this place and was able to sit down right away. The food hit the spot! Very yummy and on top of that Luvjit and his brother were very friendly and made me feel welcome. Definitely recommend!

We had an excellent meal. Best Indian we had in a long time. And the price quality is very good. We both had a mix of different dishes with naan, rice and papadum. So good! Definitely a place we would come again when in Melbourne.
P. H.
This little cozy place in CBD Melbourne serving some good North Indian dishes. The quality of the food is very good, although quantity is bit less. Especially Curry bowl won’t be enough for two. If you are in CBD Melbourne I would recommend.
G. N.
Food cooked to perfection. Decent size portions and very authentic. I was ordering lamb korma (hot spice level) staff told me hot is pretty hot so I went medium to hot and it was perfect, thanks for the heads up. Will be back for sure.
C. H.
Gourmet Curry Hut is simply one of the best meals you can eat in the Melbourne CBD. Their butter chicken is enjoyed by just about any food lover, even if Indian isn’t generally your thing. It’s the kind of place where you really can’t go wrong. Prepare for a bit of a wait if it’s a busy night or weekend, but the service is always friendly and helpful.
L. M.
delicious food, great service perfect location
A. C.
Best butter chicken and Lamb Korma we have ever tried. Not only is the portion size perfect but the price is just right. We have been too many restaurants around Melbourne and the price is too high compared to the quantity of food served. Make sure to ask for there famous Garlic Cheese Naan. Will be back before we head on to Byron bay
S. A.
The food was really good and the service was excellent! The staff is super accommodating as well, I came in during a lunch rush and did not have to wait long for a table or for my order. A really good spot for lunch or dinner. The decor is a pretty aesthetic too!
J. M.
One of the best Indian places I have eaten in Melbourne. Environment was cozy, food was sizzling hot and tasty and the staff were very friendly. Will Definitely be back on my next trip :)
H. A.
Recently visited from England and the food is very authentic and full of flavours. The butter chicken and lamb Korma just melts in your mouth. I thought the UK had the best Indian food but now I’m not sure. Can’t wait to head back on our next visit.

A hidden gem!
The food is fabulous and the owners are always very friendly. When I'm in Melbourne, I try to get here for at least one meal.
The restaurant is cosy and tucked away in an arcade, so it's not a flashy place where you bring people to impress them with a fancy dining room. However, I find that adds to the personal charm of the place, where you have the opportunity to chat with the owners (if that's your thing) whilst eating their delicious food.
Recently, they introduced me to one of their desserts, Gulab Jamun. I'd never had this before and found it to be an interesting marriage of a deep fried cheese flavoured dumpling covered in a sugary, slightly rose flavoured syrup. Definitely worth a try to finish off your meal, particularly to settle your palate from the chilli.of your meal.
Speaking of chilli, being very authentic food, I've found their food to be on the spicy side. As such, I usually ask for mild chilli.
C. W.
Best Indian food we’ve had in years, would happily travel from the Dandenong Ranges to CBD regularly to eat here. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed 👌

After Google search found Gourmet Curry Hut in Little Collins St ,close to where we were staying. Book late for 8.30pm Sunday night, staff yes happy to wait and keep kitchen open. Party of 4. Had the Lamb Korma and Butter Chicken, Naan etc etc....all fantastic. Staff accommodating. Décor older, but I like daggy if food worth trip. Couldn't fault anything. And the prices are from 1990......Excellent value , Fantastic Food, Friendly Staff. Win Win Win
s. k.
We are visiting Melbourne and get a chance to have food tonight here. We were served by Anmol the best customer service person. Food was really fabulous and we loved it.
C. P.
Friendly informative staff- took the time to explain the meals, the degree of spice and the heat associated.
The food exquisite, a standout restaurant with a homely Indian feel- thoroughly worth the 5 star rating.

Visiting from Dubai with my family and we were recommended this restaurant by family and friends who had previously visited. We were very impressed with the food and the portion size. The tandoori Prawns, Lamb biriyani and Butter Chicken was our favourites. Highly recommended
J. M.
Delightful!
Friendly welcome and service. Busy but staff attentive and no long delay.
Excellent range of choices on menu. Very good value for money.
Will certainly go when next in Melbourne and recommend to family and friends.
J. G.
The best! In Melbourne for the weekend with my young family and wanted a good curry. After a quick Google search this place popped up and based on the reviews thought we had to give it a try. We were welcomed with friendly smiles and immediately the owner was giving our 15 month old twins high fives. We ordered the butter chicken (the best we have ever come across), saag lamb (super tender and tasty) and the vegie korma (delish) with the standard garlic naan (fresh) and rice. Not a fault on this place and will highly recommend to all my family and friends.
Hidden gem up an alley, if you want a good curry this is the place.
M. K.
Biriyani is simply awesome, nice and spicy for my liking and the Dal Makhani just blew me away. I was not expecting this level of taste when I 1st tried but now I'm an addict. Better then some restaurants in India 😋
A. M. H.
The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the Butter chicken, Tandoori Combo and the Chicken biryani was spectacular (even took photos so we could try to replicate at home).
M. D.
Am currently visiting Melbourne from the UK and my wife and I discovered this hidden gem last night and the food was absolutely delicious. The butter chicken and lamb korma was so delicious that we ordered take away aswell. The owner is a lovely man and great to have a chat with. Thank you once again guys
R. R.
Discovered this little place by accident a few years ago and have been eating here ever since. The food is delicious and the staff are so wonderful.
I. C.
Used to go to GCH lots when we worked in the city.
Was in town yesterday and decided to drop in for a curry.
Outstanding as always and the best value Indian I have been too.
Owner still remembers me after a few years away.
K. S.
Been here 4 nights in a row on my trip from WA. Each night I’ve tried a new dish and they have all been perfect. Chicken saag, butter chicken, chicken Korma, chicken biryani and cheese naans. The staff were very friendly to me on all 4 occasions and also noticed they were very friendly to everyone dining in, taking away and generally walking passed. I also noticed 1 thing I’ve never seen before, they offered every single Uber driver water to drink. This is spectacular.
Will definitely be back. Please open in Perth I will be there daily. see you in February.
R. R.
Very good authentic Indian restaurant in the middle of the arcade and in the centre of the city with friendly staff. Worth a stop by if you're a fan of indian food. Had the vindaloo..it was a hot fiery curry but the spices in it were amazing. Worth trying this spot!
N. K.
The BEST Indian food in Australia, no questions. Always welcomed with a smile. It's not a big restaurant but can get very busy so it’s better to book for groups of 4 or more. Bollywood music videos on continuous play on the screens. Totally endearing, but even if that's not your thing then food alone is worth it. Outstanding curries which you can get customised to your spice level. The Butter Chicken is brilliant. My sister is vegan so they customised their curry to suit her needs. There are Indian beers available that you may not get a chance to try anywhere else. Keep up the great work.
a. c.
Great service and even better food. A family run restaurant with simple yet tasty dishes. A hidden gem in an understated setting which is all you need. i thoroughly recommend Gourmet Curry Hut.
C. J.
Came here with family members (8 of us) and we all had a good time. Heaps of laughs amongst each other and the staff, And to top it off, Our food was AMAZING!!
Thank you for being great hosts on short notice (walk in) lol and making room for us on that busy night
Recommend this place for everyone!! Even if you do not like your spicy food (me) you can always tell them and they'll make it just right
J. H.
My friends and I about 11 of us visited this lovely restaurant about 3 weeks ago and we all had one of our best nights in Melbourne here. They had the most amazing food dishes including Butter Chicken, Lamb Korma and Chciken Madras which were our favourites. Make sure you guys try out there Naan stuffed with cheese it is absolutely breath taking. We bought our own wine bottles since they were licensed and to top off the night the staff and The owner were extremely friendly with us. They even turned up the music for us so we could enjoy the sounds of Bollywood music. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Australia. 10/10
M. S.
Me and my partner loved curry here. It was little bit hard to find the shop but worth it. Staffs are so kind. I wanted to order more cuz it was delicious. definitely, I will visit again. Highly recommended!!!
S. M.
Hungover as all get out, me and two of my friends ventured out from the safety of home in search of a curry cure all. What we found at Gourmet Curry Hut was: 1. The best chicken tikka I’ve ever consumed, and 2. A little more spice than we could handle (hehe). The food was excellent, and I look forward to coming back, but I would recommend going for mild your first time! Especially if hungover ;)
S. K.
Fabulous place and excellent service. Very friendly staff, felt like talking to close friends. This was the best place I have been to in recent times. They deserve 5+ STAR ratings.
A. C.
One of my favorite Indian restaurants in Melbourne. I recommend you to reserve a table if you plan to go on the weekend! Absolutely worth to try the amazing food there!
R. H.
Stumbled across this place looking for H&M during the day and the owner was very helpful to direct me how to get there. We decided to come back for dinner with some mates and the food was delishhhhh. Heaps of flavour and great owners. We will be back every time we’re down from Newcastle.
G. R.
We were recommended the butter chicken and lamb Korma with lemon rice and cheese garlic naans and the meal was incredible. Best meal we have had since arriving in Melbourne from Rome. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for Indian food which isrich in flavour. Thank you once again guys for the delicous food and the great hospitality. 10/10
Y. v.
The tandoori mushrooms were not very tasty as the mushrooms were not cooked in with the sauce. The mushrooms were soggy and flavourless. The price paid was not worth what we received. The naan was over priced but the veg curry tasted yummy even though that was also expensive without a complementary rice.
J. A.
Amazing proper authentic Indian food, not many around now days. Attentive courteous staff. Will definitely be back
A. L.
Went for dinner with partner tonight. The food was amazing!!! And the service was even better. Friendly and welcoming staff, great food, we highly recommend 😊
K. K.
We came as a group of 9 and everyone loved their meal. We all shared saag paneer, mutter paneer, tandoori combo, lamb vindaloo, butter chicken, chicken biryani all medium spice accompanied by garlic naans and jeers rice and it was perfect. Thanks to the friendly and attentive staff the meal couldn’t of been better. We will be back regularly.
S. M.
I was really surprised by this place. I passed by it a lot without thinking of trying it as I have to be in the mood to be trying a new Indian place. Wish I took the plunge earlier as the food and the place is great. No wonder its always packed. My main concern with Indian food is that its a bit heavy for my liking. Will go there again and again.
P. N.
We came in as a group of 12 for dinner and pre drinks before the tigers game. We ordered 2 butter chicken, 2 lamb roganjosh, 2 chicken saag, 2 vegetable korma, 2 dal, 2 tandoori chicken accompanied with mixture of naans and rice. Every single dish was perfectly cooked and every bite was full of flavour. We will be back Saturday for lunch before the grand final. Thanks to the staff for great hospitality.
T. N.
Well made and delicious traditional food, vegan option. I had a fantastic time with family at this place. Covid safe and attentive service.
T.
The food was the best Indian we’ve had in a very long time! Fresh, flavoursome and good portions. Loved watching the Bollywood TV too. Cozy and clean restaurant
g. s.
Was really craving some authentic Indian food in Melbourne and really glad I came across gourmet curry hut.Staff was excellent and very polite. The butter chicken was amazing will definitely be returning there soon.
L. R.
Amzing food with Excellent and friendly customer service, will visit again
f. k.
Best Indian food in Melbourne. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. Hint: the spiciness could make your food a nightmare, so make sure to not order it spicy.
E. v.
Delicious Indian food at quite modest prices. Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend.
f. B.
Really nice and cosy place with great customer service. Generous portion size. Reasonable pricing on variety of dishes.
J. H.
Don't get me wrong, this is not 4 star dining, but the combination of good quality, cheap indian food earns this place a high recommendation.
I used to come here once a week for years because I could get a $10 plate with several authentic indian dishes, and a beer or a soft drink. While it's set in the corridor of a small forgotten plaza off Lt. Collins, it's quaint charm and the cozy decor make for a great work lunch with a couple intimate colleagues.
get in early, this place picks up pretty quickly and seating is limited. Or go late after the lunch crowd has dissipated.
S. L.
Enjoyed a lovely dinner last night after the tennis. Staff were really helpful for organizing a table while having a full house. Make sure to book in advance as they get busy
A. B.
Easily the best butter chicken I’ve tried anywhere, acomponied with cheese naan and rice that was cooked in cumin seeds(forgot the name) Came here with my fiancé for dinner on our last night in Melbourne (wish we found them earlier) and the atmosphere, staff and food was excellent. Could not fault a thing. I asked if they had Budweiser as that’s what we have in Texas but they didn’t and offered we try a kingfisher, great beer with our meal. You’d have us come in a few times a week if you opened up in Texas. *hint*hint*
Thank you
S. M.
Fantastic food. That's all you need to know. Ok... the staff are all friendly efficient and attentive. Book ahead. No regrets 👍👍👍
V. S.
Curry and the vegies was damn tasty but unfortunately the paneer I had was way much sweet in taste which I don't like at all.
M. M.
Recommended by a friend in Sydney and thought we should try it out since we are visiting Melbourne. We asked for hot and the spice level was just the way we liked it. The food was delicous and full of flavours. Must try!
A. P.
Hidden Jewel.
Beautiful authentic food , great service , good prices.
We had the aloo paratha which was the best we have had in a while and the lamb in the biryani was so tender. Will definitely return next time we are in the city.
C. M.
Come to Melbourne from qld to watch the state of origin. The food here is the best Indian myself and our family have tried. Our dishes were butter chicken, lamb korma, lamb madras, Kashmiri rice and a few cheese naans with garlic on them. The staff are exceptional and were very helpful. I’d give you more stars if we could. Keep up the great work. Thanks for the great meal and chat. Will be back on our next visit. Go QLD Maroons.
L. M.
Most delicious Indian cuisine I've ever eaten, we all love The Gourmet Curry Hut - everything is so tasty you will not regret ordering food from here 10/10

I'm always a bit awkward going to new places, but the staff are super nice and friendly. The food is presented really prettily and the garlic naan is second to none. Awesome indian food!

Pretty good curry and very good prices!

Stumbled across this place on a walk around Melbourne. Hands down, they have the best Butter chicken I have ever had! Will definitely be back next time we are in Melb.
R. J.
One of the best indian restaurants that i have been too. I would highly recommend booking first as the this restaurant gets very busy. Lovely food, brilliant waiting staff and of course lovely food.
B. C.
Portion size was good however the flavors were not the most appealing indian food I have had. Ordered the coconut rice and could not detect a hint of coconut. Naan was a bit dried out and crispy.
J. A.
The most amazing Indian restaurant that we have ever visited. The food was delicious and the best we have ever eaten. The service was great we recommend highly. We can hardly wait to experience such delicious food again.
A. A.
Our family had chicken biryani, lamb biryani and prawn biryani. All of them were the best we have ever had around the globe. Also it goes very well with your complimentary raita you gave. Loved all of the flavours and your medium spice is perfect 👌
C. H.
Excellent food... lovely staff. Highly recommend it. The Non Veg Gourmet Thali was brilliant and good value. Also very good wines !
S. H.
Amazing Food! Incredible service, decor is very stylish and simple. Very clean and perfect for a nice and simple sit down lunch or dinner. Speedy and very short wait time. Highly recommend. Great service.
J. S.
Wow..what a wonderful place, in heart of the city.. got burned last couple of nights at another indian restaurant, down on King street and then found this fantastic place. Worth trying Daal Tadka, Lamb Korma, Chicken saag and Chana Masala. If you miss authentic north indian food or aroma or taste, this is the place..highly recommend
s. l.
Awesome food, so happy to find a real goat curry in Melbourne. Helpful and friendly staff. I've found my new local Indian restaurant 😁

Happen to walk into this place.. very nice cozy restaurant and a welcoming boss.. the food was amazing and the Naan is a must try as it's super soft and tasty(that means it doesn't hurt your mouth). Would definitely visit the restaurant again

Absolutely amazing food!

Moved to Sydney and now Melbourne 11 months ago from the UK and I’ve finally found a decent curry. Chicken jalfrazi was on point with the authenticity and spice. You’ve got a new regular
A. A.
Very authentic and flavoursome meal. Greatly appreciate how the staff went above and beyond to customise our meal to our needs. You have a new regular customer. Greatly appreciate your hospitality

Reasonable prices, delicious and friendly staff! I highly recommend butter chicken and saag!
S. W.
Friendly, attentive staff. Meal was delicious, cooked to perfection. We were allowed to eat and chat at a leisurely pace, and not forced to hurry, and go. Will definitely be back on our next visit from the UK. Thanks once again guys
J. H.
My boyfriend and I have just had dinner here and the food was absolutely delicious. Cannot recommend this place high enough for authentic cuisine and flavour.
L. S.
Had a great dinner here with a group of friends. Delicious starters, curry and naan and BYO wine. Prices were really reasonable. Will be back again!
R. W.
Plates were a little bland, colleague who loves Indian food was very disappointed. Naan bread was more like tradition middle eastern flat bread i.e. hollow 2 layer. Staff friendly and service fine.
P. S.
Came here first in April this year and enjoyed the food so much that we come in every Friday night for our curry fix. Thanks for making a great meal for us every Friday. See you next week
L.
Good value for money
I loged the shahi paneer, so tasty!
My cheese naan was really oily...
The customer service was good.
Right in the cbd, it looks like an indian restaurant in india! Enjoy it!
S. M.
Came here Monday night and had the best lamb saag and butter chicken we’ve ever tried. Highly recommended. Cosy little place with very attentive staff. Highly recommended
M. P.
Bing! Best lunch time Curry in Melbourne by far. Been going here for years and I can't speak highly enough about them. You can not go wrong with here. Ask for the lunch time tray... tell them I sent you.
J. P.
Food was very nice. If you order the butter chicken, don't order the mildest hotness, go one level up, as the mildest taste very sweet.
A. D.
One of our favourite restaurants in Melbourne. Make sure you book as this place gets packed very fast. Ask for the lamb Biriyani and butter chicken
B. N.
Really good curry and a nice little joint. If you’re nearby and on the hunt for curry, come here! 15 types of meat curry, 15 vegetarian. Can’t really go wrong.
k. b.
I was there on a date and stuff was super kind. Food was awesome (palak paneer and lamb curry) including desserts. Manager droped ,with good sens of humour, some good Polish joke:)
E. H.

Amazing food. I can’t even start put in words the quality of food they serve. You might have to wait a while in peak hours but the wait is worth it.

Been a couple of times place has been around for a while. Tasty not watered down curry and good service. Quality not quantity type of place. Bit more expensive but if you want big and cheaper servings which means quality is sacrificed try elsewhere.
