One of my favourite burger joints in Melbourne. I don't go here often enough.
The pimped out trailers inside the restaurant are something to be seen - it's a lot of fun, decked out nicely. The burgers themselves are tasty, tender meat, great toppings. The chips are crunchy and very well seasoned.
Great for a night out with friends, you're not trailer park trash if you eat here - you're trailer park chic.

As of now, my favorite burger shop in Melbourne!
The burgers here are big and filling so defiantly a good choice if your hungry! They have a great variety and a fun interior. I recommend the Thanos burger as it tastes great.
N. V.
Great burger joint and a great variety of drinks. One obvious lacking thing is the variety in their burgers. At least chuck in a chicken burger as well. But overall lovely experience. Decor, actual food quality, atmosphere and staff 10/10.

This place is really great, such a funky vibe and love all the booth seating. Easy to get to location, just go up the stairs that look like you're entering a nightclub and you've made it. The burgers are the stand out here (obviously) I had the Thanos and it was actually so good. I haven't had a mac and cheese croquette in a burger before but I can say, I'm a convert now! Seriously cheesy, gluten-y goodness with a delicious patty, tomato, lettuce and lashings of sauce. The Nutella/Kinder Surprise milkshake was massive and very tasty - adding the splash of liquor would have been even more decadent but I was pacing myself - the burger was huge so don't snack too much before you come. Service was prompt, great soundtrack and pretty quiet on a Sunday arvo so a great spot to sit and chat! Definitely recommend for any burger connoisseurs out there!

Even in the midst of the city being a ghost town plenty of people were in here. The food was SO GOOD. Loved that we could order online from the table and the food came out quick. We had the basic not so crazy burgers but they were so good, juicy and fresh. The chilli fries were great but the real MVP’s are the onion rings.
H. P.
The restaurant has a nice theme with the trailers inside giving it an outdoor feel. The burgers were average in taste, moderate size and a tad pricey. The milkshakes were really good though but not enough for me to come back unfortunately.
A. M.
We went here on a Friday night and I left very impressed. From sitting to our food arriving on the table was 20 minutes! On top of that, the food tasted amazing and was reasonably priced. The staff was really friendly and the environment was great. We left happy and full, will definitely be coming back :)
One suggested improvement though - along with Tabasco on the table, have ketchup bottles too
Edit: I'd appreciate it though if my photos were not removed that I uploaded. They were representative of my experience

Best Burgers in Melbourne, great atmosphere with very friendly service. Great shakes, cocktails and a small selection of local beers and wines. One American Pale available in cans with a selection bid Aus & NZ craft on tap from Lion.
R. M.
What a great spot. The staff are fantastic; friendly, funny and helpful- a credit to the business. Then the rubber meets the road with the food - fabulous burgers. The Chunk was an absolute beauty.
The beer battered chips weren’t the best but the burgers and beer was the best. Well worth making an effort to get there.
T. J.
Once you walk upstairs you'll see why it's called grand trailer park taverna. It's cause all the booths are make of trailer parks! The burgers are really good but a little pricey, def not for the health conscientious crowd unless you're prepared to deal with bacon and cheese and bacon...mmmmm. Gets a little loud inside so prob not ideal for a date, unless your date likes bacon and cheese mmmmm. Had the Atomic burger, it was delicious!
F. G.
Big jumbo burger American Style with milkshakes. One burger was a bit too big for me as I could not finish it all. Tried the beef bacon and cheese burger with cheese fries as a side dish. Service was quite quick.
J. P.
Cool burger joint. A little door on the street and up some stairs and you are greeted with a mock American trailer park. Some seating outside with the view of the street below. Had the Atomic and was very tasty. Good size burgers and normal American fair (Chilli cheese fries, Onion rings etc) worth the trip
H. H.
Both waffle sandwiches with oreo parfait and nutella parfait were amazing. Best waffles I've ever had and best dessert in a long time. Delicious 🤤
I. m. M.
Vegetarian + non-vegetarian friendly ♡ Great atmosphere, location and price (of burger + beers). Staff are always friendly and all the burger patty's are replaceable for chickpeas! My meat-eating friends have plenty of delicious options and I'm able to enjoy the same options (minus the meat!) 😁
S. M.
Although a nice place but rating it 3. I went to this place today with my colleagues and there aren’t any vegetarian options except chickpea party. I like healthier options and it only had burgers with deep fried patties.
There are many other better healthier options in the city. Ambience is good but again I am rating based on food options. Didn’t find anything special about this place. Would not be interested in going again. Not recommended for vegetarians and vegans.
S. C.
This place doesn't look much from the outside but the inside is a revelation - it's busy, it's buzzing, it's burgerlicious and there's booths, lots of them with retro decor and vintage caravans. We went early on a Friday night and the place was packed so book ahead if you want to sit in the cool seats! All the burgers have beef patties but they're pretty delicious. Don't miss the beer battered chips and save some room for the oreo beignets, they're soooo good!
P. M.
Really good burgers, but a bit pricey. I recommend either way. The venue is cool, but has stairs to get to the restaurant floor. So not really elderly or handicapped friendly.
D. N.
If you're a fan of flip city burgers, then this place is your heaven! They serve up quality and delicious burgers, perfectly cooked, you pay for what you get! The burgers are pretty big, they also offering a vegetarian option, along with Korean BBQ popcorn chicken, cheese fries and spiked shakes, all drool worthy. Best to go early, as there could be a wait for lunch.
H. H. (.
Wooooow I do love a good burger with MAC AND CHEESE?! my eyes were much bigger than my belly but I still managed to finish this beast because it was honestly that good! The Garfield burger was a special of the time and I’m really looking forward to what they come up with next. I’ll definitely be back! Also the cocktails were great
E. B.
Great burger (the one with deep fried Mac n cheese is delicious). Had the chili beef chips for a side which were so tasty!
I went on a Sunday early afternoon and it was nice and quiet, was good to be able to sit outside.
M. V.
The Grand Trailer Park is a great spot for burgers. The tables are set up in trailer-styled booths.
I had the ‘Thanos’ with a vegetarian patty. It was huge, but really good and included a Mac & cheese croquette in the burger.
I would definitely come here again, and I’m really impressed that you can get every burger with a veggie patty.
A. F.
Definitely be back to try all the menu! I ordered the classic burger KSA and it was delicious! Although the meat was kind of thin it was really tasty and fulfilling! Quick service, laidback and fun decor.
A. N.
Some of the best burgers in town. Really rich flavours with heaps of fun burger fillings and styles. I love the Thanos, which has a deep fried Mac and cheese croquette in it, but to be honest, the rest of the burgers are just as good (Ivan Drago and McDowell). The onion rings are done so well too, I am definitely coming back for them. Chips + truffle mayo makes for an amazing side too.
The interior is very fun and unique; there are booths with trailer facades, making the place really feel like a trailer park.
The only thing I might pick at is their shakes are pretty average and bland. I've already been here thrice in half a year. It never disappoints.
L. C.
Hands down the best burger I have eaten. If you love burgers, this is definitely your place to go.
T. L.
Excellent burgers, I'm not a big fan of burgers myself but I have to say I was really impressed. Ordered the Francis Underwood, great juicy patty, rich cheese croquette...would recommend!
N. J.
Have to check out this place! Burgers and even desserts are incredible. Friendly, quick and easy service. A lot of flexibility given to customers through QR code ordering online instead of traditional wait staff ordering!
J. O.
Still the best burger in the metro area. Buns are the right texture and beef is moist and tasty. Make sure to try the Thanos, aptly named, and the Kinder Surprise milkshake, don’t be surprised at how good it is, no pun intended.
J. A.
Nice spot in Melbourne that serves up burgers, desserts, and alcoholic milkshakes. Burger mince is good, cooked medium rare, and they use decent quality brioche buns. Tried the Thanos burger which had a mac & cheese bite on top of the burger patty with cheese and the usual salad toppings. The wife enjoyed her burger and her boozy pine/lime splice shake. Music selection is great, a decent throwback to my early adult years listening to 90s hip hop & r 'n' b
L. H.
Good Burger's, the meat patties are on point tasty, perfectly cooked just a tiny bit pink and don't fall apart. Great burger sauce. Good crisp fries!
Friendly service and got our meals surprisingly quick too.
Very effective heating, was a bit overly warm even on a cold night on the balcony.
Oh and an awesome playlist 👌
J. V.
Second time here, pretty cool set up with the little trailers inside and great for groups as well. The burgers are super filling especially the Thanos burger, mac n cheese croquettes in a burger are amazing! The fries with cheese sauce are pretty good as well. Great service and a nice overall vibe.
E.
Good burger joint in the CBD, nice range of burgers to choose from, burgers are a bit more on the price side. Good atmosphere too and food is served quite quickly. Rating 3 stars based on my experience as my order was forgotten, however it was quickly rectified.
V. S.
I love this place! Actually now looking back on it, I'm surprised I haven't been back since my first visit a month ago. Time to change that I think!
Funky set up upstairs, they've really worked the space well, with plenty of seating options for small/large groups - awesome trailer like seating, which could accomodaste up to 15 people I'd guess. Super funky!
Burgers were so delish, and finished it off with one of their milkshakes - not a combination I'd reccommed, but if your eyes are bigger than your belly (like mine on this occation) I am not one to judge.
J. R.
Awesome food (I had the Double Double, Korean Chicken and pint of Pale Ale) and cool/fun atmosphere! Highly recommended, staff are great as well - super friendly bunch! 👍
C. H.
Great atmosphere and although it seemed busy, our food was brought out soon after ordering. The burgers were great, as were the chips and onion rings. Lots of big tables and booths for groups. If I lived in Melbourne, I would definitely frequent here.
T. W. o. E. S.
This is a must visit in Melbourne. The beef patties were EXCELLENT! Couldn't fault this burger. Would smash again!
D. J.
Disappointing - nice retro decor and perfectly cooked chips however the main attraction the burgers left you wanting; they were pretty average, undercooked patty and the tinniest measly piece of bacon you ever saw. Also milkshake was good 👍
B. C.
The Ivan is a great pick. Music way too loud for venue and can't have a conversation. If you don't want to wait for a table, get there just after work hours and you'll be seated fairly quickly.
Also highly recommend being nice to the people who bring your food out, you may get an extra few pickles on the side.
T. B.
Used to come here all the time when we lived close to the city. So good coming back and finding everything as good as ever!! YUMMMM burgers and new faces (staff) but they were all so lovely! Thanks for having us!!
N. G.
Kitschy decor and delicious burgers are what's in store dining here. Their base burger was really solid and the fries were spot on. They have some really cozy booths too!
T. K.
Loved the burgers, the vibe and after a busy lunch session managed to chill and relax.
s. c.
The burgers are delicious. Mac and cheese is one of the must choose items.
J. B.
Incredibly tasty burger! Meat was perfectly cooked (little bit of pink in the middle). Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Well worth a visit!
Z. K.
We got "The Chunk - Double Double" and "Thanos" and they were some of the best burgers we've ever had. The atmosphere, service and pricing was all great. Would definitely come back again.
M. M.
This is a must stop for my wife and I Everytime we are in Melbourne.
Always amazing service and the food 🤤 delicious.
First time we had the burgers from here the wife and I both had chills.
Also if you are game enough ask for any burger to go BEAST MODE. Photo is the atomic burger gone beast mode.
10/10 if I could give you higher I would.
J. A. G.
Absolutely disgusting. This place should be illegal. How a country can debate same-sex marriage without confronting the morality of this establishment is shameful. I loved every bite.
M. C.
I love this place. The staff are fantastic, the food is beautiful and the drinks range is amazing! I'm only sad that I'm always so full after the burger and chips that I am yet to try their deserts!
A. S.
Great veggie burgers, friendly staff, fun atmosphere! Espresso martini is excellent.
C. H.
Soem of the best burgers in Melbourne.
Cool venue, always had great staff, but the main thing is the food is consistently amazing!
Must try!
G. C.
This is my all time go to burger place! Whenever I have guests come into Melbourne, this is the place that I recommend!
Spoilt for choice and everything is equally as good. Special mention to the mac and cheese croquette 🤤
t. s.
Amazing burgers.. definitely on the top of the list of all the burgers I ever had.
L. S.
Really tasty burger and cooked perfectly
The sides are all really great too, especially those onion rings. The gin cocktail also a win! ¹
J. S.
Had the Thanos. Will be back for The Chunk! Amazing burgers. Great chips. They need to give you more tomato sauce though!
L. H.
Best burger, why? The meat, to sauce to bun ratio. Cocktails where fairly priced.
The interior was fantastic design of having mini seatable caravans inside to creat booths.
I. D.
The boubon shake was ok. You could definatley taste the liquour. The bacon was covered in congealed fat though wgixh they could have dabbed off before serving. I also expected the waiters to be in character, they were far too polite!
M. L.
Incredible burgers in a really cool venue. Head upstairs and grab a beer and burg in an old caravan. I’ll be back.
R. E.
Wow, old school, heart stopping food! Worth a visit, but not daily!
Cool layout. Food will cause a food coma 2hrs later!
S. S.
Good atmosphere, burgers are great for taste but pretty messy, even by juicy burger standards.
B. L.
Went here awhile back, had a great atmosphere and food, sad to see it temporarily closed.
K.
Visited this place before COVID and I loved the burgers here.
C. W.
Delicious burgers and super quick service!!! The popping candy cocktail is amazing.
P. M.
Feels like something out of an old American movie, a retro old fashioned burger and milkshake joint that although may be a bit on the pricey side, it still is a must visit in the city for the decor and atmosphere, it certainly does not disappoint
J. J. D.
Simple, no-frills burger done the way burgers should be.
I tried the Jorge burger and it was excellent.
Try it with the srirarcha mayo
J. S.
One of the best burher places in Melbourne! Worth the extra situps you'll need to do! ^_^:x
M. M.
Great friendly service with a smile! The place is very nicely decorated and fantastic for groups of 6-8 people! Book ahead and they'll make your experience very smooth and comfortable! You don't have to worry about splitting bills either as everyone will be ordering separately at the bar. They have a great range of burgers and the McDowell I had was spectacular and great value for money!
d. m.
The fit out of this burger joint is really clever. It’s like a whole lot of old school American caravans made into booths. It looks awesome. The toilet fit out was not so impressive. The tap in the female toilet was falling off the wall. But the burgers were really good. The Thanos with the Mac and cheese croquette was delicious. Chips were really fresh and crispy. Not at the very top level of burgers but very close. Would definitely go back and highly recommend. Definitely worth a visit.
S. (.
Went in for dessert. Ordered waffles and a milkshake. Both were excellent. Staff were very friendly.
G. K.
Seriously good burgers and a cool atmosphere. Just don't tell everyone 😉
M. W.
Walking around Melbourne, you wouldn't even know this place was here - literally just a doorway leading up to the second floor, where all the magic happens. A very unique venue - wonderfully decorated and furnished to turn an ordinary burger bar into an extraordinary venue to enjoy a meal, a drink, and some company. Tuck in to a variety of burgers to suit all tastes, or hit the desserts which pack quite a punch. A good selection of beers and ciders on tap, lots of friendly and smiling staff, and overall a very enjoyable atmosphere. Well priced food, quick to arrive. An experience worth having.
C. S.
Thanos Burger. Chili Cheese Chips. Caramel Bacon Bourbon Shake.
So many calories.
So so happy!
B. S.
Too much bun (and what a disappointing bun it is). It's like a second rate royal stacks. Nice location and outdoor seating.
J. T.
Grand Trailer Park Taverna is cozy bar delight. The meals are quite reasonable price. The beer and spirits are cost decently. I hope they would include their fried chicken burger as it reminds me of Chic-Fil-A with sauce. The place is quite small as there's not many place to seat. The bar area too is tight. When there's a crowd, it gets really noise and you be bumping to people. There's an outside seating area but that can be filled by smokers.
Overall, the bar has reasonably price food and drinks. The staff are quite friendly. They have wide selection of drinks. I would recommend going once and awhile.
J. L.
Great tasting burgers however its always quite busy so it's best to arrive early or later during dinner time
M. B.
Somebody told me that you can eat over there the best burger in the City. I ate one and it was really a brilliant burger. Especially the Pattie tasted amazing. I don't wanna say it was the best burger I ate in my life, but it was a really good one.
The chips were also very good. All in all a brilliant place to eat a good Burger.
As a con I can say the meal had his price (30$) per person minimum.
N. D.
I would not say I am a big fun of burgers, but place is a must to try. Very delicious and the range in menu is impressive.
It's better to book in advance if coming for lunch with a company over 4 people. There's a chance you can wait for a table a bit longer...
N. F.
Good atmosphere with a nice change on a boring design of a normal burger place.
Food is great - burgers were fat and good, however, under salted in the inner Mac & cheese patty but the beef patty and sauce was great.
Chips were a bit cold when served and the meat Bolognese was also under satllted but the cheese sauce was good
G. S.
This is my favorite place for burgers in Melbourne CBD. They have friendly staff, and the food they serve is also excellent.
The restaurant may look small from outside, but they have loads of space there. On Fridays, the place is a little crowded, but the wait is worth it.
I always have a vegetarian option for any burger and they make it very well. The buns they use for burgers are of excellent quality, and so are sauces and veggies.
Highly recommended this place.
a.
Delicious burgers, simple fresh ingredients. The burger I had was like a whopper in ingredients but fresh and tasty. I had their 'McDowell's' sauce to dip my onion rings and it's a near perfect recreation of Big Mac sauce which other burgers joints have tried but none as successfully as this. I look forward to going back and having the McDowell burger. The inside of the restaurant has a good atmosphere and you'll quickly understand why it's named what it is.
L. M.
Yummy, delightful, juicy burgers definitely worth having! Love the vibes and ambience of the place. Amazing selection of music with friendly staff. Prices are good for the portion of food given. We had a really good time catching up here! The beer is really good too! Might need to queue up sometimes when it gets a bit crowded during Friday nights. Great place.
S. S.
Awesome burgers and chips, reasonably priced for the quality of the food. The truffle mayo with the chips is to the for. Service was quick and super friendly. Would definitely come back next time in I'm Melbourne. Try the apple pie cocktail, you won't regret it
T. D.
Outstanding once again. Wicked burgers & alcoholic milk shakes to die for. Be prepared for a food coma.
B. H.
Visited on a Friday night, and the service was friendly and surprisingly fast. The decor and ambience were nice, loud inside as you would expect on a Friday. The burgers were fantastic, as were the cocktails my wife had. Would definitely go again.
M. S.
Decent selection of drinks, and of course fantastic burgers. Every burger can be made vegetarian, which is a good alternative to the usual 1 or 2 options other places will have on their menu.
What brought it all together through was the atmosphere. Very friendly crowd and staff.
Often becomes busy, but I take that as a good sign.
K. M.
The food was amazingly textured, aroma of the burgers were pleasant and exciting, staff were friendly and kind upon entry and ordering.
Wishing my partner happy birthday topped the icing on the cake
Couldn’t have asked for a better place to have a quiet meal and enjoy a birthday celebration
Best burger I’ve eaten and will return again!
M. L.
Trailer Park is my favourite burger joint in Melbourne. Amazingly fresh clean burgers with high end ingredients. The burgers are of s good size, never greasy and they have some really nice desserts for those looking to go all out that night.
B. H.
This is a really great burger joint that's super easy to get to (just catch the 96 or 86 tram to the top of Bourke Street and hop off just before Parliament), has a really funky/fun vibe to it with the 'trailer park' decor and offers reasonably priced food (the cheapest burger being $10).
I've been here a number of times taking a large group (12+ people) and have never had any issues! The staff are EXTREMELY lovely, super patient and always willing to help out which makes my life a whole lot easier. Not all places are super kind about having lots of people, but I've always felt the staff here aren't phased by it.
The only minor critique I would make is that if you're a vegan, you won't get anything other than hot chips from here unfortunately. I get it, it's hard to cater to absolutely every type of dietary requirement (they're NEVER ENDING) but I think offering even just one vegan burger would be great and enable more people to enjoy the novel experience of visiting Grand Trailer Park!
G. J.
We only popped in for a shake, which were super yummy, and super boozy. Bourbon, bacon and salted caramel.
Everyone's burgers looked yum and huge. We'll be back.
m. t.
Very nice burgers, great atmosphere and good service.
G. E.
Great burgers and just a nice place to get together with mates.
Also, the staff are very courteous which is always handy.
Only improvement would be the loaded fries were a little cold but still had the right flavour.
M. R.
Great American Style burgers in the heart of the CBD. Love the decor inside that gives it a feel of a caravan park.
Burger options are great (personally I always go the McDowell - gotta love the coming to America reference; or the Ivan Drago) and also highly recommend the boozy shakes. Good selection of US beers if shakes are not your thing.
And if you manage to still have some space, make sure the waffle sandwich or waffle stack if you’re a bigger group!
E. C.
Probably one of the best burgers I've had, and I don't say that lightly. I ordered the David Chang, minus beetroot. The burger was very juicy and tasty, while the bun was slightly toasted to maintain the structure. The beer battered chips were perfectly fried and not too hard. Definitely highly recommended.
K. G.
I had The Chunk burger today and I must say it’s one of the best burgers I’ve tasted in Melbourne. The beef patties were cooked through and seasoned just right. It wasn’t greasy and dripping with oil so it’s obvious they used quality grade mince. My only thing is I wish they had these burgers in some sort of meal deal. Fries and drinks are sold separately.
L.
Went the other day to get burgers with my partner and had a really lovely time! The customer service was really amazing :) There was one male waiter who was super fun and friendly, he really made our experience a unique one so thank you! The burgers were great really juicy and yum the only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars was that I wish they had more chip varieties and that they came out hotter but other than that it was super good :) Thank you again :)
Y. J. S.
One of my favourite places to eat at~ the burgers are a good filling size, and they have a good variety of them! I really like the atomic (meat explosion) and thanos (with mac and cheese croquette within) burgers. And I absolutely love their milkshakes!! They have alcoholic options for them too, and also some special flavours. I like the interior of the place, when you go in the day it's like you're having a picnic and when you go at night it's like being in a small outdoor festival - with the fairy lights and all. It's great, I highly recommend.
J. S.
Wonderful place. The staff and owners were so generous during our visit. Burgers and meal were delicious. Lunch there really made my day. Can't thank them enough. Highly recommended.
C. O.
Service was incredibly friendly! Especially the guy from Wellington! The food and drinks were delicious! The ambience was very cool and sitting outside was great even on the cooler day. Highly recommend for a good burger!! And the chilli cheese fries were dope.
J. M.
Pros: Massive burgers, greasy delicious guiltyness!
Cons: A tad pricey
YUM! Deliciousness! All I wanted for lunch was greasy fatty burgers and this place delivered. The burgers were huge and the taste was magnificent, even the chips were fantastic. My wife's burger was bigger than mine, had a mac 'n cheese deep fried patty thing sitting in it, ridiculous!
The establishment is large, so more than enough room for big groups, staff were very friendly and overall a really great experience. The price is a little steep, but forgiven, because I really enjoyed the food. I'll go back again one day when I have another craving for greasy burgers :D
N.
Usually a great spot for burgers and a good vibe however this is the first time I came there in the last couple of months and they've shaken things up it seems. The online ordering system is interesting albeit a little confusing. My friend ordered the fired chicken which came with mashed potatoes and gravy and the mashed potatoes were unfortunately really salty.
M. C.
Good burger, but the service (or rather it's distinct absence) was appalling. Why tell people to wait to be seated, when you don't offer table service anyway? Lucky we figured it out, or else we might have been left waiting forever. The waitress certainly didn't deem it necessary to let us know. When our food arrived, she placed the wrong burgers in front of people, but told us it is what we ordered. So be sure to check you're actually eating your meal not your friend's, before you start chowing down.
K. C.
One of the best burger places in Melbourne. The place has a fun and quirky vibe with great service too. The place is usually quite packed for dinner so make sure to get there a little earlier to skip the crowd.
C. C.
Fantastic burger, best one I've had in the CBD. Beer battered chips were delicious too. Very friendly staff, tap beers, and the veg burger for my missus was extremely tasty too! Great spot and cool decor inside.
G. A.
Great atmostphere (music, service and deco style). We actually tried two delicious burgers: Thanos and Atomic, both with a great taste and size, but maybe a little too much sauces on it; fries are not included, that could be an opportunity
R. M.
Always worth a visit here, the burgers are awesome and the decor even more so. The Kinder Surprise is my favourite spiked milkshake because you get a whole kinder egg on top. I also love that you can now substitute the veggie pattie into any burger now, so much choice! ☺️
J. M.
Today we visited the restaurant with a group of four, and found the service to be prompt and polite.
We tried two of the burgers on offer, and both had a great flavour balance. However, it should be noted that the mustard is quite potent so if you are not a fan of that flavour you may wish to ask for it to be removed.
The beef was very flavourful and moist, while being cooked to well done (personal preference).
We also tried the house fried, which were crispy without being oily. The salt content was also well balanced.
Overall, I would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant if you are a burger fan, but there is little on offer for people seeking other dishes; hence the 4 stars.
J. M.
Grand Trailer Park is an excellent spot for great burgers, mostly American style with a few Melbourne twists in places.
The burgers are on the pricier side, typically $15 to $20 (from memory), but this reflects their superior quality - these are NOT fast food style burgers.
Alcoholic shakes are delicious but again not cheap. Well worth a visit, but you’d need to be made of money (and have a bulletproof metabolism) to eat here daily
m. a.
One of the best burgers I've had in Melbourne hands down! There was a sign at the door asking patrons to wait to be seated. After being shown to my table and waiting a considerable amount of time I decided to go to the counter and order. A man who came in after me lent over while I was eating and asked if he was going to be served or if he had to go up to the counter. They should probably make that clear when they show you to your seat...however all was forgiven once the food arrived. Absolutely brilliant!!!!
C. M.
Average at best for the price.
A little disappointing to see a restaurant using disposable packaging for a sit down meal.
H. L.
One of the top 3 burger places in Melbourne!
T. B.
American style burger place with a great little balcony and brilliant atmosphere. I've been to America and tried burgers all over the place but the grand trailer beats them all hands down! Best burgers I've ever had both the beef and vegetarian Patty's.
B. C.
Loved it. Staff were so happy to see us they were literally doing cartwheels. The burgers are brilliant and you have to try a mac and cheese croquette. Good range of beer, cider, wine and spirits. The caravan theme is a bit cheesy. Recommend sitting out on the balcony and watching the great variety of Melbourne's citizens and denizens parade past.
T. P.
Amazing Burgers. Great chips. And there's drinks. People are super nice. You walk in, they sit you down and give you water straight away. Numbers on the table already. You order, takes maybe like 5 mins and your burger arrives. Then you feel grand!
J. D.
Really good American style burgers. Great beer selection. Brilliant decor. Tables are a little small, but I suppose that's the feel of an American diner/trailer park experience. Thumbs up and highly recommend.

Our go to spot for a pre-concert burger and fries, the place is unique to say the very least! The burgers (I've had nearly all) are mouth wateringly good and are served hot and promptly. Don't be afraid to add an extra patty, that's how good they are! Book a spot on the balcony ahead of time on nicer days (weather wise) as the place fills quickly.
D. D.
It's a good burger place, fairly fast. Chips are mediocre, onion rings are better. I expected the Jorje burger to be spicier to be honest. They probably needed something like that on the menu.
Probably wings would also make it a bit better. Desserts seem waay overpriced.
J. K.
Some of the best burgers ive had. 10/10 friendly staff. Make sure you know how to order at the counter. Can be very very busy. Recommend the 4 cheese burger or whatever it was. Decent value for money.
S. T.
This place is really cool, it is upstairs via a narrow and a little steep staircase but so worth it. When you get upstairs you see a room full of mini airstream caravans done up as booths. It's super funky. The burgers are delish and are real authentic homemade burgers. I love the McDowell which is like a big mac only way better! Great drinks and milkshakes. It's a must visit
N. P. (.
The food is excellent. The drinks are delicious and perfectly match the burgers. The staff are very friendly and the service timely.
Don't break your neck on the greasy lino floor as you pass the kitchen going to the bathroom. That is OH&S level dangerous.
C. B.
Really good cheeseburger, the meat was cooked perfectly and had so much flavour and a great texture. The chips were chunky, salty and the burger sauce went well with them. Funky place to eat with many of the tables in open caravans.
N. L.
Cannot fault this place one bit. It's one of my old favourites. Funky tropical caravan inspired interior matches with the blast of flavour menu. Jorge is my go-to with a milkshake. And then I roll down the stairs. Try to book if you are coming with a large group. Be prepared to wait especially on Friday and Saturday night.
B. B.
Excellent burgers great atmosphere!
S. L.
American styled burger joint, with aesthetically pleasing interior design. Didn't have to wait too long on a Friday night, and the burgers came out in no time. Very delicious however I could probably find a cheaper burger somewhere else for the same quality. Overall a fab place to eat!
M. S.
A lovely burger joint with great vibes, delicious food and amazing staff. Not hidden away but the entrance doesn't stick out that's for sure.
Within 15 minutes of arriving we were already digging into our amazing burgers (KSA + Atomic) and Ice Ice Coffee with a perfect balance of sweet and bitter.
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick lunch or a place to chill with friends if you don't mind the slightly more expensive prices.
S. L.
great vibe and lovely staff, very creative ! really love the burgers !
C. G.
Edit: been here a few times now as a dependably great burger, good for making a meeting less formal or with friends.
The front door can be hard to find so make sure you tell anyone who hasn't been here before to look for just a door next to the 7-11 as the restaurant is up a flight of stairs.
Great place to catch up with mates, burgers are amazing. Beer on tap. What's not to like?
S. M.
The most juiciest and flavoursome burger I’ve ever had. I’ve been here 4-5 times and I always enjoyed the atomic burger. Their waffle was really yummy too!!!
R. B.
Food is amazing. Love the atmosphere and the service. Best burgers hands down! I got the Ivan Drago burger, it was juicy, filling and satisfying. Highly recommend
L. M.
Very nice burgers and great service. Very easy to order and pay right from your phone. A great place to catch up after a day in the city with it's great location. Would definetily consider going again
k. w.
Both the atomic and thanos burgers were awesome. Fries with cheese was also a must. We had the regular shakes rather than the alcohol ones but didn't find them too good. Very energetic staff.
M.
Been here twice, both times extremely satisfied with the burgers, shakes, service and atmosphere. Not too expensive for the delicious fare and my god are they quick to provide from the moment of order. Faster than I expect every time. Highly recommended to any burger connoisseur.
A. A.
It's like a little hideout that opens up into an amazing place full of wonders. If you are not particularly health conscious or want to cheat on your diet and exercise once in a while, then this a burger bar for you. Literally. It's got Burgers and Beer. Though, you must be warned that the beer selection is rather paltry or at least not very exciting. Said so, burger selection is indeed gastronomically amazing along with delicious shakes.
G. R.
These burgers are just awesome! The beer selection is also very good and the staff is very nice. Plus, the place looks very cool.
Ask for the Thanos Burger. It will put a smile on your face. Got it?
B. J. (.
I would eat there again. It's a great fitout with all the caravans and the burger I had was quite tasty. I can't remember the chips or - if I had a shake - whether it was any good.
I'm only giving it 4 stars because I feel like I should reserve 5 stars for places where at least one things blows my mind, somehow. While the burger was tasty enough, that's about all I remember. Whereas other burgers I can still recall the flavour. Like this one place in Whistler 8 years ago where the sauce - while gross sounding - kinda had a very unique anchovy flavour, or even a burger at the deli in Santa Monica where Robert DeNiro dines at the beginning of "Heat" ... I remember the flavour of the 4 cheeses like it was yesterday, but it was back in '96! Or even just the signature burger's kewpie mayo or Smokey Joe's BBQ sauce & onion rings down at Sideshow Burgers in Rosanna ... all those flavours left (or continue to leave) a lasting impression.
Anyway ... if I was in town hunting for a burger I'd definitely give this place another go. But I wouldn't actually travel into town to get one there.
R. d. F.
It's very enjoyable going to this place. Good range of burgers, and the milkshakes are big and not too sweet.
If you're hungry, and you're ordering a burger - ask for "Beast Mode". If you're ordering the chips - ask for "Guilty Style". Neither of those are mentioned on the menu.
J. K.
This has become our go-to place for work lunches. If you like proper, sloppy burgers that drip, GTP is the way to go.
The decor looks like it was converted from an old disco hall, adding to the funky vibe. It can get busy here at lunchtimes, especially on Fridays, so worth coming in earlier or booking.
Star is taken off because it can get noisy if there are a lot of people, so if you want to find somewhere to chat, it might be worth going elsewhere. But you'd be hard pressed to find a better place for burgers in Melbourne.
F. B.
Juicy tasty burgers, made with very good ingredients. Size is spot on in my opinion, enough to fill but not exaggerated. Set up is quite simple but rather big, staff friendly
J. M.
There is a good atmosphere and service with some interesting choices on the drinks menue. Overall the price is high for what is produced with a burger around $20 by itself and the serve of chips laughable for an adult.
While I can appreciate the location leveraging the price somewhat, the flavour is just ok and the patty is lacking, the meat does not taste like it just came off the grill. I would point anyone asking to 8bit
A. M.
The Thanos Burger is up there with the best burgers in Melbourne. Goes well with a Blue Moon beer (get it with a slice of orange!). Friendly staff and good elevated location too.
J. M.
Absolutely amazing experience!
Food tastes exquisite, cheap and fast considering how high a quality it was.
Staff were so friendly and went above and beyond, my partner mentioned it was my birthday and they all proceeded to wish me happy birthday when they dropped my food and drinks off.
Will 100% be back again
B. L.
Burgers are always on point at Grand Trailer Park! The Thanos (formerly known as the Francis Underwood burger) is always a solid option, along with the McDowell burger because who can go past Coming to America.
We recently stopped in and tried the Garfield which was a McDowell with a Lasagna filled croquette instead of a Mac n Cheese one. 10/10 would devour again and bring my stretchy pants.
B. C.
Awesome experience and genuinely focus on great food, with a focus on burgers.
Loved the atmosphere and one of the better tasting burgers in Melb.
Will definitely be back, really good customer service. We were just sitting around and they gave us some dessert on the house just because....that turned a great experience, into an excellent one.
D. M.
Really tasty burgers. Probably not good for you, but gooood!! Only reason not a 5 star, vegetarian options could be a bit better. A lot of burger joints offer vegan burgers along their usual offerings where here it's just an option to swap out the patties
K. F.
Straight up: not your average cheap burger joint.
But if you're looking for a really good burger that you won't be disappointed for, then this is the place.
With a touch of retro - just a touch - the Trailer Park has a vibe not worth missing.
The menu has a creative retro spin to it, making picking your meal and drinks a tad more exciting than you're average order.
The only thing to note: lunchtimes get insanely busy here... So either head there early or prepare for a wait. But once you've got that burger... You'll know why it's so popular.
H. T.
It was good when I went for lunch. However, this place has mostly beef burger (more than 8 types of beef burger) and all beer pattie can be swapped for vegetarian chickpea pattie. Not ideal for someone who don't eat beef. I managed to order a soft shell crab burger on the special menu (only shown on the board behind when I made my order). The crab burger was good.
A. P.
Love the bacon bourbon milkshake! It's a little bit on the pricey side for casual dining. Recommend sitting in the front open section if you get there early enough.
R. S.
I've had so many good catchups here that I can't say anything bad about this place. The burgers are big, meaty and good value for money and having the cheese sauce on top of the chips is a one-way ticket to an early bypass surgery.
The little campervan decor pieces are kind of hilarious too
D. G.
Awesome burgers and good beer selection. Cocktails are pretty good too!
Z.
Worth It:
Yummmmm. To die for; Salted Caramel Milkshake & Waffle stack. Mac & cheese croquette's are a taste bud treat. Lovely, bright & fun deco.
It might be a little more pricey than a fish & chip shop burger but here you get what you pay for, an experience.
Now in my favorites list for city eating, thnx guys.
.
.
W. Y.
Awesome burgers in the middle of town. Cheese fries and onion rings are worth it
J. B.
Great burgers, very busy during lunch time on weekdays but the quality doesn't suffer. Only 4 stars because the Kinder Surprise milkshake built my expectations up so high, then shattered them once I actually got the drink 😓
J. D.
Really interesting place with yummy burgers. Great beers on tap and you can sit in tables that are in mock caravans. Good for bigger groups (if you book ahead) - but pretty noisy so maybe not great if you want to hear each other.
B. M.
Look anything would probably taste good after no food for 8 hours, drinking champagne straight from a plastic bottle and walking 12km in 5inch heels but, I swear, this is different...they’re not lying when they say they’re not like the other girls. Need to try the Mac Cheese patty next time. Not baller
enough at the time and they would not accept $9.75 TAB ticket as payment. I won’t hold that against them. 11/10.
K. K. M.
Nice american style restaurant. Cool atmosphere and usually good burgers. They don't take reservations.
Unfortunately last time we've been there we've been treated very unprofessionally. We were in 3 waiting for a table, in line after 2 others, when a group of 4 guys asks if there's a wait. The waitress reports a ~20 min wait an puts them on the wait list. Then the restaurant manager from behind her says "they're next" without even trying to be discreet.
Y. H.
very good burgers in melbourne
I have Atomic burger.
M. S.
Phenomenal burger (and onion rongs), and even better service. The guys behind the bar were outstanding; friendly, funny, and gave us a bunch of local bar recommendations as we'd just stepped off the plane. Great environment too.
M. G.
Delicious food, and super convenient being able to order from your phone at the table! Burgers are big and packed, loved my milkshake and the chips were extra tasty.
B.
My god this burger joint was amazing. i ordered the atomic with a extra beef patty and extra cheese and didn't disappoint at all!! The patty was cooked to perfection as it went smoothly down your throat and the brioche bun was awesome as well. Would definitely come back again.
G. P.
This place is great. Doesn't seem to matter how many times I go there the atmosphere is lively, the staff are awesome and the burgers are delicious. I've even just dropped in there for desert in the past after being out for dinner elsewhere so I can get a shake and some waffles and it's awesome.
S. G.
Great burgers. The David Chang is superb! Nice shakes and great sauces. Comfortable, interesting setup and friendly service. Order at the bar and away you go.
M. B.
WOW, the burgers here are exceptional, they are also willing to customise to suit your tastes. I had their Atomic to my delight and then topped it off with a triple cheeseburger with Nutella and peanut butter. Their alcoholic milkshakes are incredibly overpriced given the value of the rest of the menu. But overlooking that I don't have anywhere I would rather have a burger currently!
The peanut butter version of the Waffle Stack is also a great way to top a meal too and I can't wait to go back for more!
T. E.
Wow. This place is a must visit. Awesome interior, atmosphere, food, and drinks. One of the best burgers I've ever tried, and great loaded fries, as well as a huge shake. Will definitely go back again.
R. S.
One of my favourite burger places in the city. Great atmosphere and even better burgers. A great place for GF or low carb options as you can opt for the lettuce bun instead.
The balcony is a great place to sit if you want to watch the world go by down below
A. A.
Never been let down at Grand trailer park. Love the service here, the setting and the burgers which are so damn good.
Also got a great selection of desserts and drinks at the bar. Well worth the visit while in the Cbd or if you're craving great burgers!
L. U.
Neat place with interesting decor and a chilled vibe, indoor and outdoor seating. Good burgers and alcoholic shakes. For vegetarians they make your burger with a chickpea patty instead of beef, so you can order almost any burger on the menu rather than being stuck with one or two options, which is pretty neat.
D. S.
Nice set up - very chilled. AMAZING BURGERS and drinks!!!
I'm mildly gluten intolerant and usually when they say that they're gonna replace the buns for lettuce, I don't get that excited...but these guys definitely deliver an awesome burger - with buns or without. I was very impressed...
I also gad the splice....soooo good...
Z. W.
Cute upstairs restaurant with a familiar homely feel and satisfying burgers. Staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, happy to help out whenever needed. The best part by far was the churro/ice cream dessert on offer, which was a great price for a hearty and delicious treat that was one of the best I've had at any restaurant in the CBD.
D. L.
Good burgers with good outdoor views and seatings. Very good service as well!
N. B.
Super friendly staff, cool tunes and fun tables inside American style 'trailers'. Food and drinks were great - I'm gluten intolerant and they were able to whip me up a burger featuring lettuce as 'buns' - which was really well done and delicious (have had this at other burger joints before but done very poorly in comparison).
V. H.
Reasonable burgers and sides, however the amount of sauce smothered on the burgers is far too much for my taste. So much so, all i could taste was sauce. I like sauce as much as the next person... but the amount of sauce on these burgers is next level. If you like saucy burgers, this is your place. Interesting burger combinations.
J. R.
Great food, great service. Really nice atmosphere. Good location too
M.
Really tasty food. Friendly staff and casual atmosphere
B. H.
Great place for a burger and drinks. Serving size is just right for the mains and sides. Customer service is good here and there is a great with a variety of options to choose from on the menu. Will be back here for a burger
A. A.
Amaaaazing place .. must try . I have tried KSA burger was delicious
a. l.
Went here for a yummy evening dinner. The burger was delicious but the best thing ever was the chips with chilli definitely recommend getting this. Full of flavour quite filling so don't over order. 10/10
J. B.
Awesome burgers for decent prices!
J. N.
Burgers here are okay. Service was actually friendlier more recently then on my first visit. Had the mcdowell which as in the movie was very similar to a big Mac... But if i wanted something like a big Mac shouldn't i just go to McDonald's and save $10 or so.
T. C.
Good burgers, and generally one independent craft beer on tap. Indoor and sheltered verandah seating.
~$30 burger and pint makes it a bit pricey for an everyday lunch. Would be great to see some more taps and variety.
N.
Burgers were alright, not amazing but not bad either. I’m not sure why so many of these reviews say the burgers are so fantastic. I went here based on all these gushing reviews but in my opinion the food was just okay. Also, why do the waiters not take orders? What is the point of having them then, they’re right there so why not just take orders :\
S. M.
Burgers are pretty good, make sure you book as it gets busy. Good choice of beer as well.
K. D.
The best burger joint in MELBOURNE scratch that AUSTRALIA. Food is amazing and quick but does not seem rushed at all.
Came here for my girlfriends birthday lunch and we were amazed that we found this Gem in the heart of the city.
Everything from the cocktails to the desert was pure perfection.
We will be back many many times!
Just wish I could score it higher then 5 stars
B. C.
Great ambiance and energy. Burgers are good and well worth the money. Had a Frank Underwood(lol) and Atomic. Truffle mayo in the Atomic is great and not overpowering. The Frank Underwood's Mac&Cheese patty is quite different from say, Royal Stacks's one and if you haven't you should give it a try. The cheese is flavourful and the burger is huge.
Small eaters should just have a burger only since all their burgers are huge.
Corn dog had a nice flavour, however the sausage inside was not fantastic as we had a hard time biting it off properly. Would recommend to not bother about it.
D. L.
It has amazing hamburgers! A little bit pricey but worth it. It's got a great atmosphere for dates or just a place to hang out with friends.
L. S.
Heckin good views and heckin good food. Service was lovely and the price was not too bad. The Waffle Sandwich was actually one of the best things I’ve seen and eaten. If you’re in Melbourne I beg you, please come here.
A. G.
Great atmosphere. Fantastic burgers. Will be back.
M. S.
Really good quality burgers with good vegetarian options, though unfortunately brioche buns are used. Usually packed on a Friday but they deal well with the demand and keep orders coming out efficiently.
H.
Great spot! Delicious food and an awesome atmosphere.
P. R.
Excellent burgers. Expensive alcohol, especially the alcoholic milkshakes. A bit cold and sterile in decor, but proper meaty goodness burgers. Very good fare.
K. P.
I love this place, but their choice of staff could be improved. They're a little arrogant and I've seen staff hang out in the enclosed balcony smoking where people are eating. Not cool.
The food is great, although pricey, and I love the spiked milkshakes! They're costly, but if you're treating yourself, why the hell not?
M. W.
Not the cheapest burgers going around but are always very tasty. Cocktails are good and selection of beers on tap are great. Keep an eye out for the specials board.
P. B.
A great vibe and really quick service! We had a booth in one of the 'caravans' which was very cool. Burger was absolutely delicious and filling. Next time I'll leave room for a boozy shake!
W. F.
I've been visiting this bar since it was named "happy palace" and it was a Chinese type bar with cool burgers. Now it's an awesome trailer park style burger joint with great beer and perfect burgers! For those who love sweet, this place dose some mean shakes!
M. E.
Good solid burgers and chips. This place only has burgers so if you're after something else don't go here. I had the Francis Underwood and it was very good. Cool decor as well!
G. R.
Easily one of the top 5 burger joints in Melbourne! Friendly speedy service and delicious burgers! Highly recommend the Atomic and a mac & cheese croquette inside!
D. B.
Delicious burgers, tasty boozy shakes. What more do you want?
K. M.
This place has amazing food, good decor and very friendly staff. Where it misses out on is the seating (feels very cramped), which adds to the noise level of the place.
Try to get here at least half an hour early if you want a decent seat.
Don't forget to order cheesy fries!
H. P. L.
That’s a great.
Price has quiet expensive, but taste was very nice.
L. S.
Great burger and the guy that served me was an absolute crack up.
W. W.
What's do you envisage when u feel like a"Burger"?
Get some friends together & head to the Trailer Park Taverna!! This is an experience to be shared with friends....what r u waiting for... a five star review? 📲
D. V.
Very busy but even without a reservation on a Sat, we got seated within 5 minutes.
The food is worth the drive and the price isnt unreasonable for the unique taste.
$45 for 2p (2x Burger and fries)
H. W.
A packed Friday lunch seems to tell you that this is a popular place. Food price is ex and nothing unique about their burger. Add on fries and drinks cost you $20 or more per meal.
C. S.
Best burgers in Melbourne in my opinion. Big, juicy, covered with cheese. I hear the mac and cheese croquettes are delicious. Decor is nice too. Get on it!
D. Z.
Great vibes and awesome burgers. Sometimes it's hard to get a seat (hence not 5 star rating) but that just shows how good the food is.
L. W.
Delicious beef burgers in kitschy setup with unique decor. Friendly laid back service. I always enjoy having either a Drago or Thanos burger and the shakes are killer.
J.
Burger and beer for lunch anyone? Super funky decor, great buzzing lunch crowd and no queues when you order with your QR code at the table. Break up your workday and forget trailer trash, this is trailer treasure!
D. A.
Superb. Friendly staff. Fantastic food and drinks. Good value for money. My absolute favorite place for food. The best burgers in Victoria
M. R.
Good prices, the food was amazing, really dig the ordering system they have there too. Perfect for introverts or people who work in contact centres who don't want to talk to anyone after their shift.
J. Y.
Burgers and service were great! Came in with about 15 of my friends on a really busy Friday night and the staff still managed to cater for us. Make sure that you book a table as it packs up very quickly.
V.
Amazing food and service. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The inside of the place looks amazing, you can definitely tell why they're called the grand trailer park tavern. 100% recommend this place!
W. W.
Excellent burgers but a touch overcooked (in my opinion) as they are not legally allowed to go more rare than medium. Highly recommend with a burger to satisfy everyone's tastes
G. M.
Awesome burgers and venue. Highly recommend
J. M.
Look.
I've been on the hunt for a burger that tops the ziggy's recovery for a while now.
And, unfortunately, the hunt continues.
No-one told me about the 25 minute wait in the line before ordering - although once the order was made, the burger arrived pretty quickly.
I went with the Francis Underwood, as I had heard good things about it. Decent size, very filling, but (as you can see in pic), an overload of cheese, which masked any other flavours that may have been in there. And, heaven forbid, no bacon.
Therefore, overall it was "ok".
I now have Ziggy's on my mind, and may simply just give up on the possibility that there may be something better than Ziggy's.
That is all.
A. R.
One of the best burger places in Melbourne CBD. Yes only Beef and Veggie options available but who said anything other than a Beef Burger is really a Burger!
M. H.
Only had the burgers but they were so good. Juicy patties, fluffy brioche buns. Chill place with added novelty of cut out trailers to sit in. Can get noisy but that's the nature of the place.
S. B.
Get "The Atomic", you won't regret it! Fantastic quirky decor and atmosphere. Cocktails all have a very different flavor profile than you find at most bars, but they are all very interesting, refreshing and strong 😉
D. J.
Book your heart bypass and enjoy everything on the menu!
M. S.
You are guaranteed a great burger going to Grand Trailer Park no matter what you choose.
E. N.
Waited more than half an hour for mediocre burgers and ok milkshakes. The chilli cheese fries was good though. Got the salted caramel milkshake which had strips of bacon and the Nutella milkshake which had a kinder surprise with it - the shake itself was ordinary. And the atmosphere was too loud and crowded. Couldn't have a decent conversation at all but this was on a Friday night.
M. M.
Absolutely excellent burgers. You might have a small wait for a table but all that means is that the place is popular. Fast service as well. Great for a first date!
R. G.
My wife took me here as a surprise for my birthday and she absolutely nailed it. On that night it came up in conversation that it was my birthday and they provided a special surprise by singing happy birthday when they delivered dessert. Such friendly staff, this is our burger place!
G. B.
Amazing food, one of the best burgers in Melbourne. Highly recommend. Great location and good service.
N. C.
Delicious burger. Had the Chunk and the pickle made it. The venue is cool though there was a lineup to get a seat and then you had to go to a counter to order and there was another line so took a while to get the food. May have just gone at an off time.
N. K.
Cool burger joint, the burgers are tasty but a little average, the beef patties were very salty, the chips were good, luckily we had friends who booked a table because the line was very long when we arrived, overall a fun place to go to but there are better places for a burger especially given the long lines.
R. M.
Excellent vibe with the trailer park themed seating. Burgers are fantastic and beers are cold. What more would you ask for in a burger joint. Prices are reasonable, aervice is great.
K. H.
Visited a few times now and the food and service has always been spot on. The venue is quite unique in its design and has a decent atmosphere. Great for a casual date place, or to chow down on a solid feed.
T. a.
very delicious burgers (i recommend the burger 'thanos')
the staff were very friendly and seemed to really enjoy their job and it had a good atmosphere.
would definitely go back there again!
B. L.
Great service and the Thanos burger was epic!
P. C.
Cool theme with trailers inside. Service was great and burgers were spot on
R. P.
Nice place, good decoration, good Burger.
Only down side is that there is only one type of cheese. For everything and every burger. If you don't like cheddar, this is not your place.
J.
Had the Andy McDowell, prob the messiest burger ever and they did forget one of our burgers bit got it out v quick once we said. Good service, filling, not cheap! Liked it though, better for groups really...
J. L.
The Ivan Drago is a top 5 lifetime burger for me. If only I didn't live 10,000 miles away, GTP would be a mainstay. Fantastic service as well - friendly, helpful. Great overall experience.
M. G.
Great selection of burgers.
Highly recommend for a friday lunch spot. Quick service, grab a beer or two with a serve of the cheese fries.
S. C.
Once Great burgers and large drinks, the quality has gone down and prices up. It's a very busy venue that you must book for during the week. Other downside is that the seating isn't great and it's difficult to get a seat most lunch times unless you're down before 12.
A. S.
Very friendly waiters. Great burger. The bacon on my milkshake had a funny flavour to it though, I wouldn't get it again.
J. N. C.
Love the burgers. Great selection of beer. Staff know their beers. The atmosphere is amazing. Highly recommend this place
D. M.
The burger with truffle sauce always have the richest and satisfying Ouumpjh!
H. M.
Never in my life have I got to the end of a burger and still had top, bottom and middle of the burger in tact. Best effin burgers in Melbourne. Amazing staff too, so friendly and willing to make any changes. I think I'll move in
U.
Great burgers, Oreo beignets and shakes. Don't make plans after cos you're going straight home after to dream of beef on charcoal and kinder surprise as an alcoholic shake.
E. M.
Amazing place with an old school, trailer park, food van atmosphere. Has indoor and outdoor seating as well as booths to accommodate for 8 people or so. Milkshakes are sweet but awesome, highly recommended!
A. R.
Fast service awesome food. Beverage options a little limited sadly (beer and wine). The caravan booths make this one of Melbourne's most exciting eateries I've been too
S. H.
It gets some damn good reviews. I don't think it's the best burger though. Mine was basically a glorified big Mac. Good beer selection though.
M.
I went here many times and each time I went I had a wonderful time. Whether I was tired after a long day's work or buzzing from a long nights drinking this place facilitated further enjoyment of the evening. The apogee of eateries on any night of the week. Bring friends they'll thank you...
R. D.
Very unique and trust me the burgers are great. Never had a bad meal there and the service is amazing.
C. W.
Top selection of beer and delicious burgers. Friendly staff, balcony seating is awesome and generally a pretty chill time for a cheeky bevvy after work.
K. R.
I like this place, its funky and the food is great! its totally got a melbourne Vibe, so if you have any visitors from interstate this is the place to go! bit of a shame about the drinks list, everything very sweet- eg: no dry/ oaky wines, no dry ciders etc. But other than that its a rocking place :)
J. B.
Such a great spot. Been here a couple of times and the burgers are fantastic. Love the sides and the maple bacon milkshake is amazing. Keep up the good work guys.
M. S.
Had lunch with colleagues. Very busy place. Fast service. Burger was just amazing. Had a KSA Burger. Loved the taste, texture of the bun and patties. Will be back!!
D. M.
Has a Atomic burger. Juicy and delicious. Fries and onion rings went down well. Great spot for a outdoor lunch on the balcony.
B. L.
The most amazing burgers in Melbourne! Atomic is my fav! Chilli cheese fries done properly, all in all a ripping place for lunch!
A. R.
Come for the burgers, stay to people watch from the balcony. Burgers are great. Nice place to sit and watch the world go by. Staff are lovely. Recommend!
N. M.
Had the Francis underwood, a cheeseburger with a mac and cheese croquet in the burger.
The croquet looked overcooked and I didn't really taste it in the burger as everything else overwhelmed it.
May have been a better experience with a simpler burger.
D. N.
Still my favourite Burgers in Melbourne. I doubt you'll find a tastier burger. Staff is amazing and the place is so relaxed.
B. S.
Great tasting food, book ahead cause it's very busy
N. F.
What a great place! The staff are so nice and accommodating. The burgers are delicious and the waffle sandwiches so good too. This place is a must
S. M.
Burgers are good. Very good; potentially the best in the city.
The decor is true to the name - there are halves of trailers and the likes inside. Gets very busy after noon for lunch.
J. E.
Heart attack territory. maple bacon and bourbon milkshakes? yeah they have them. Burgers that an American would be proud of ? check. and the decor looks like a trailer park from hurricane alley to boot. Dont expect to be dainty here
A. L.
Went there tonight when most of the restaurant was booked out, and yet the staff didn't fail to serve everyone with a smile and still be courteous. The food didn't lack anything either. Nothing really was compromised, aside from the loud crowd but that's not something they could've controlled anyway.
T. S.
The spiked milkshakes are amazing - the kinder surprise milkshake (with Frangelico and Baileys) is one of the best milkshakes I've ever had. I didn't enjoy my Francis Underwood burger as much, sadly, I think it had too much potato.
A. R.
Great burgers, and the chilli cheese fries are to die for! Kitchy atmosphere, and a full bar. I would go here again (when it's not two minutes until close so I can linger a bit)
A. W.
Loved it! Very fun place to go. Was a little disappointed with price verse portion size of the burgers, but the vibe and ambiance is what you really pay for. Highly recommended.
r. l.
Have been meaning to go here for a long time. The burgers are delicious and the milkshakes are next level. Service was quick as well
N. R.
Great place for a quick, juicy burger. Staff are friendly, food is served quickly, cold beer on tap. Good start to an evening out.
S. E.
Great burgers with worthwhile twists, great beer, and a suitably laid back atmosphere. It's not really a pub, but I would love to hang out here treating it as one.
S. R.
Good burgers & great chips! Heads up there is only beef burgers. The furnishings looked amazing.
C. F.
The Ivan Drago, is my favourite burger ever, from anywhere. The big Black Russian Tomatoes are so juicy and tasty! Great venue, definitely recommend
M. P.
The burgers here are ridiculously good! Patties are cooked perfectly, rare on the inside but crispy on the outside. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!
P. V. R.
First time back for a couple of years. Food is just as good as it was back then. Fast fresh tasty! Good place for a burger!
A. E.
The KSA burger was delicious and the Manager displayed fantastic customer service. I unfortunately had an issue with my burger patty having a piece of plastic in it but the Manager handled it like a pro and I would most definitely return
N. D.
I loved the decoration in there, and their burgers are great. The staffs are very friendly. Good place to meet friends and drink some beers
F. J.
Get the McDowell. Then come back sit outside and get the Atomic. Fries are standard, the onion rings better. And then get the 'David Chang' burger on your next visit
M. K.
Laid back and nice atmosphere. Quick service and yummy burgers with plenty of sauce. Slightly on the pricey side for a burger in Melbourne though.
K. W.
Great friendly staff. Great music! food was absolutely amazing and served quickly. Atomic burger is a great recommend! Amazing highly recommend
P. A.
Sunday afternoon, pretty relaxed, good staff. Burgers were very good, it's clean, cool tunes, chili fries where so-so. Otherwise great.
K. C.
Nice quirky interior. Excellent burgers, great sides, kind staff. Food and experience here is also very consistent.
A.
Terrific burgers but make sure u get some onion rings too, these guys really know how to do them. A fun place for a group with some big booths.
H. A.
Amazing burgers that are really filling! Great service and atmosphere is beautiful. Would recommend to friend and family for sure.
T. S.
Burgers are amazing and decor is just as good. Reasonable prices and a well stocked bar. Worth a second visit at least
C. M.
Quite possibly the best meat patty I've ever had! Staff we're friendly and welcoming.
R. B.
Best America style burgers in Melbourne without a doubt, delicious and perfectly cooked every time.
Beast mode any burger for a serious challenge.
L. L.
Best burger in Melbourne, the only burger that come kinda close is 8 bit, but nothing is really even remotely close to be as good as a mcdowall
M. M.
Great burger! Cool atmosphere. Don't be put off by having to go up the stairs from the street level.
A. B.
Nice hamburgers and fries. Love the decor. Service was good although you have to go up and order.
S. J.
Relaxed service, but not inattentive. Great burger joint, great beers. Spicy little cocktail list to boot.
P. K.
Food wise, Dani Zeini (formerly of Dandenong Pavilion) has created a simple one page menu. 9 burgers (with some rather interesting names), 6 desserts and 4 sides are complimented by a variety of alcoholic drinks including the enticing “spiked milkshakes” – Maker’s Mark Bourbon, Salted Caramel and Maple Bacon anyone?
B. L.
Great tasty burgers - I had the Ivan Drago burger and would definitely again. Really popular place so they do good business!
A. F.
Love the food here. It's a premium price but they have to make a buck somehow. Delicious burgers
A. F.
Love the spiked milkshakes and delicious burgers. Funky Trailer Park theme, well managed wait times and prompt service. Can't ask for more.
P. B.
Great Quality burgers and great atmosphere, the table service for our group of six was a little bit of miss in terms of wait time/attentiveness, nothing to complain about just occasionally a touch slow.
B. J.
Decent American style burgers but definitely not the best. The trailers are a bit tacky. Get the Kevin spacey one for your money's worth!
S. W.
Great burgers, plus easy and fast for our big group lunch (12 ppl).
A.
There is a reason it's always full. The food is so good and the menu is diverse enough to please everyone without taking 20 minutes to decide. The staff are helpful and patiencet when you forget the name and table number. Really good and highly recommend.
W. o. t. P.
Very unique. Fast service, incredible food and super friendly staff. What more could you want?! ( Can get a little busy)
J. D.
These could be the best burgers I've ever eaten, and such a cool venue. Busy at night so try for lunch and sit on the balcony with a jug of beer and enjoy.
C. A. B.

Please don't serve Christopher H. Bril from Corkys Saint Clair. He is a vicious evil manipulator who is a predator and child molester. Be aware of his vile behaviour.
J. Y.
Epic hamburgers. Awesome menu. Loved this place... And I WILL be coming back to try the other burgers on the menu.
B. B.
Fantastic burgers, up there with the best of Melbourne. They also have a decent set of beer on tap to choose from, and alcoholic shakes that are delicious (although a tad pricey)
B. C.
Yummy. Very yummy. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I miss the mushroom burger. It was incredible.
T. T.
Great place for good burgers and shakes. The music is good too!! Customer service is always excellent.
J. I.
Top notch burgers. Gets really busy fast so if you are in a group try to book a table but otherwise get in and enjoy the food!
S. P.
Great burgers but cost way more than their equally as good competitors. Still, I ain’t complaining the burger was GREAT.
P.
Great burgers, desserts and service. Also, the option to order by the QR code on the tables is something that sets it apart.
M.
Yummo best burgers ever
C. W.
Lovely venue, tasty unique burger ideas, on the pricy side compared to similar quality places though. I chalk it up to their inner city locale.
K. M.
Food's so good! Went with a group of 14, and the staff we're amazing! We each got a good so quickly with no problem. Differently need to go again!
E. A.
Friendly staff, good options on the menu with a veg option for the burgers and adorable setting.
Food arrived very quickly and was delicious.
M. Y. C.
msian: If you are having your lunch here, go for the milkshake. Highly recommending their Spiked Milkshakes especially "Kinder Surprise, Nutella, Frangilico, Baileys". Skip their regular milkshakes, they will taste like your regular UHT Dutch Lady milk.
E. C.
One of the best burgers I’ve had so far! Highly recommend the Thanos burger
C. S.
Nice venue, decent prices and selection of drinks. Burgers and fries are some of the best that side of the CBD.
Very busy for lunch, especially on Fridays.
J. W.
The atomic was one of the best burgers I’ve had. So many options to choose from and the atmosphere is really unique.
J. L.
Such quick and friendly service. Burgers were delicious and chips had the perfect amount of crunch and salt!
C. W.
Good burgers but a high-ish price. Funky atmosphere and great milkshakes.
R. D.
Great American style burgers with creative names. The milkshakes are a must!! With a unique interior design.
R. P.
Great burgers was a bit busy on the Saturday night but we'll worth the wait. We had a large reservation (11 people) that was well handled.
J. L.
One of the best burgers I've had recently, buns good but not great but the meat was exceptional and great toppings
S. G.
Great burgers. Can be expensive if you are trying to feed a family of four, over $100. However, great service, great burgers and great decor!
M. W.
The security guard for a neighboring venue suggested this place and he wasn't wrong. Great burgers - i will be going back to try a milkshake now I've read the other reviews!!
M. O. (.
Not as good as I'd hoped but I'll be back :)
B. G.
Relaxed, kitsch sort of place. Worth going just to dip your chips in the truffle aioli. Burgers are always good.
A. H.
One of the best burger places in town. Large and interesting selection of burgers, and decent drinks menu.
D. T.
Kitschy decor with amazing burgers. I've tried 3 so far and they are all great. McDowell however has to be my favorite so far!
A. L.
Awesome American style burgers !
Juicy meat patty, fresh bun and salad with a side of mac and cheese patty in a funky decked out restaurant. Cant go wrong.
C. S.
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, even more impressive food. If you are looking for a good place to hang out and have a bite to eat come straight here.
C. A.
Had The Jorge burger and it was sublime. The perfect balance or meat, sauce, lettuce crunch. Oh my god it was just so good.
J. C.
Really good burgers! It can get very crowded at lunch hour, so go early. Highly recommended!
I. H.
The Ivan Drago burger was fantastic. Went back for a second time expecting the love to diminish a little, I was wrong, still a great burger.
R. M.
Lots of options as far as burgers go. Some of the best I've had in Melbourne. Really fair price too.
D. B.
Very tasty burgers along with friendly staff. Would highly recommend
J. S.
Their drinks are great, there is no chicken burger which is sad, it is all beef. Desserts are fantastic
J. M.
oh man. what a journey this place was! Incredible vibe, great food, service, and wait... what?! BACON ON A MILKSHAKE?! Amazing. 11/10!
C. A.
Really good burgers. The flavours were amazing and the portion sizes were huge.
J. D.
Great burgers in a relaxed themed environment. Meals are ordered from the bar where they also serve a range of alcoholic drinks and milkshakes.
P. T.
Beautiful burger! And I got a crush with the handsome manager, he's so sexy with his blond hair!!
J. W.
Amazing burgers. Seriously do yourself a favour and check them out. Have a pint while you're at it and enjoy.
s. t.
Excellent food, the burger is definitely one of the best I ever had

This Burger place is worth a try! I like that they have committed to a theme and the atmosphere was casual. I thought the Burger was OK.
S. L.
Burger was too dry
C. C.
Great selection of burgers, great location, interesting decor, friendly staff. A definite winning combination
J. H.
Burgers were pretty big and tasty. A bit expensive for me, but otherwise good.
E. K.
Good American burgers. Very nice vibe / decor. Milkshakes are a must try
B. N.
Atmosphere of the outside seating added to the experience. Food served was on higher end of burgers in Melbourne.
S. J.
Great burgers and chips. Awesome decor. Staff super friendly!
R. C.
Lovely staff. Delicious food. Great for visiting before or after a theatre show. Highly stylistic decor, 1950s Rock n Roll
S.
Customer Service was great and the burgers were amazing but me and my friends agreed that the chips were absouletly disgusting...
J. C.
Reasonably priced yummy food, cool venue. Bar staff lovely however the lady who seated us seemed a bit miserable.
S. M.
Busy and quite noisy tavern with basic menu but very good quality food. Pricing was about average. Service was very good.
F. P.
The burgers and chilli cheese fries are absolutely sensational! Service is also great and the interior lots of fun - highly recommended.
F. G.
Delicious burgers, good for groups and also just having a burger with a friend
Tasty, fantastic quality, great staff and good atmosphere.
A. P.
Went for dessert and alcoholic milkshakes, both tasty, service good, be back for a burger, then after trying full menu this may get a 5.
K. P.
I love the atmosphere of this place as much as I love the menu. Prices are very reasonable by upmarket burger joint standards.
P. B.
One of the best burgers you'll ever eat. Not cheap but worth it. Beer on tap too.
B. K.
Nice place and great burger
O. M.
Loved the food and great friendly staff. Definitely my new favourite burger joint in Melbourne
D. B.
Great seating and atmosphere. Food was fantastic. Had one order a no show, but management were quick to rectify the situation.
H. P.
The burgers were nice but a little greasy. The waiter was fantastic but had terrible body odour.
B. M.
Good stuff. A little crowded for my liking at lunchtime but I guess that shows it's really popular. Burgers and shake were pretty good.
e. 1.
Good hidden location, sorts lax on the service when it's late at night and also some of their wait staff constantly dropping cups on the ground. Overall very good
S. P.
Not a burger person but the burgers here were wholesome, tasty and vibe was relaxed. Line was long and fair bit of a wait to order
G. R.
Downright good chew - one of best burgers in Melbourne. Loopy but uber friendly staff in what feels like a pikeys caravan
L. P.
Was recommended Grand Traler Park Taverna by a close friend. Boy, was I impressed. If gaining weight from unhealthy food wasn't a thing, I'd eat here everyday
C. W.
Great burgers! Music is loud, often packed, but kitchen is fast and service good.
C. P.
Great juicy burgers and quick, friendly service, ordering the chunky - double double never disappoints, 10/10

Really nice burgers. Buns that cover the burger so you can eat it without having a disastrous mess.
D. S.
Great burgers, the vibe is a bit kitsch and cheesy but the food is delicious.
