Food is really enjoyable and it has a really nice atmosphere! Portion sizes are enough that they are filling but isn’t overdone. I love how there is a variety of dishes available and everything is flavourful! By far the politesse friendly service and ambience of the restaurant is definitely something which I’ll come back for!! Thank you so much for the great dining experience !

Fresh food and good place meeting friends in city. Easy walk to Emporium from Bourke St. tram stop. Would love to try other dishes next time. Average quality food and reasonable price, worth on money~

All items that *usually* would taste amazing if you went to a reasonably decent restaurant. Too bad this was an exception. These were pretty bland, lifeless, and one dimensional. The gyozas especially felt like those generic boxes of gyoza you get from Woolies' freezer...
The tamagoyaki had a bit of grey tinge, and it took a bit of editing to make it look presentable. Edible, sure, but it ain't pretty, and they don't even taste as good as something you could get at, say, Makoto, or Sushi Jiro. I'm not asking for kisume level, but at least serve something better than sushi sushi...
The takoyaki were pretty decent.
Service was pretty slow too, but it isn't bad.
3/5
edible, but nothing worth mentioning.

Beautiful food!
LOBSTER roll, ribs and deep fried cauliflower...a must !!!

The staff! The food! The decor! This is a really fun experience to have on your own or with friends, family or as a couple.
Came in during a shopping trip as really wanted a soft serve (love Gyoza Gyoza's soft serve flavours!) but realised I haven't actually visited and dined in at the Emporium Gyoza Gyoza. Was going to do a takeaway but stayed to dine in because the staff was so lovely and the ambience is just so wholesome. Ordered a cheesy potato okonimiyaki and takoyaki. Recommend you do too!
T.
It was delicious, and it was a good deal, me and my friends together for $96. Lobster rolls are very, very good, and lamb chops and raw beef salad

Gyoza Gyoza is a Japanese dumpling bar in the heart of Emporium Shopping Centre in the CBD. It serves a range of dumplings, sashimi, salads and fried snacks, all priced at $6.80. Reminds me of Daiso, the Japanese store which sell everything for $2.80!
I ordered the lunch special. It included juice pork and garlic gyoza, a fresh wafu salad, a wholesome soba noodles & hot miso soup. All the dishes had generous portion sizes. Topped off with a refreshing iced Yuzu drink! Yuzu is like a Japanese lemon or grapefruit.
The fried octopus was really crispy and had rich mayonnaise on the side. Definitely order these babies!
For dessert I had the Tropical Garden. This dessert dish includes a seasonal fresh fruit surrounding a luscious Osmanthus jelly. The yellow soil on dish was a bit dull, but otherwise a beautiful finale to the meal.
The restaurant was full of happy customers by the time I’d finished my meal, which is always nice to see. If you’re looking for affordable Japanese food in Melbourne, I’d recommend visiting Gyoza Gyoza!

The restaurant has good service, we are regular customers. The food and drinks are also tasty, staff are very nice and friendly, always helpful. I love their ox tougne and scallops. We will definitely coming back for another tasty treats!

I visited Gyoza Gyoza for the first time today and loved their food. They have such a large variety of drinks, dessert and Japanese food to choose from. Their fried chicken was especially delicious. Also plenty of seating and a great atmosphere for hosting friends and family. Highly recommend their desserts, so tasty and pretty! The location at the Emporium is easy to get to and open at good hours! Definitely recommend this place to family and friends!

Very cozy environment with great music, its a good place to have afternoon tea, lunch and dinner. All the food are very delicious and beautiful.😋 I love their desserts and drinks. Staffs are very friendly. I come to this restaurant all the time, it never let me down. 🥰
J. B.
we enjoyed the food and our experience. it is affordable and delicious. the staff is attentive and warm. wafu steak was awesome! if you have been to osaka, this place got all the yummy japanese street food that you see there.

I came here at lunch time, ordered pan fried gyoza, fried rice, fried tofu & ox tongue. All dish are $6.80, expect the fried rice. Dishes are all really nice, I liked the tofu a lot, the light sauce adds so much more flavour to the dish. With everything same price, this concept is really great, pretty much you are customising own lunch set with a few dishes. Good value!

Disclamer: free dessert.
Took my nephew out to try Gyoza Gyoza and he loves it ! The lamb ribs just melt in your mouth. He salmon was so fresh. Love the cheese scallops. Music was abit loud though but overall a very nice experience. We will come back!

Celebrated my birthday with my girlfriend in Gyoza! We got free drinks and we order the amazing fisherman’s basket. Nice time in the day!

This is a highly recommended restaurant. Nice environment is elaborated by the humble lights and extremely tidy table settings. This restaurant is suitable for family gathering and group discussion. The recent promotion on gyoza is good!!!!
L. L.
Really tasty place to drop in. Service is good, atmosphere was nice too.
However the food is another story.... super delicious everything we had. No regrets as I was on my way to Din Tai Fung And this place caught my eye.

Happy to shop at Emporium! And having a nice lunch at Gyoza Gyoza, I have order a tempura, miso soup, steam rice and a iced green tea, very traditional japanese lunch!!! Tempura is crispy, the prawn is fresh, and i like the taste of miso soup its very match with steam rice. The ice green tea is so rich too. Feeling so nice to stay at emporium today!
A. L.
Lunch at emporium with the family was delicious, we all got the lobster rolls. Would recommend.
S. H.
The deep fried oysters takes less than $10, so does the lamb ribs. Especially, the oysters have to be tried once! They are so juicy and tasty!
A. K.
Many small dishes for good price, you can try a lot of different things at once.
K. C.
For once I wanted to dine alone, and I thought heading over to Gyoza Gyoza to treat myself was a good idea.
My waitresses were lovely! Super nice and cooperative people.
My food was great as well. Warm, scrumptious, super nice.
Although, I do want to just make a point about the manager who served me at when I went to pay for my meal. I thought they were the manager, because they were not wearing a name tag or the staff clothes. They were on their phone, on a call the entire time they were serving me and it seemed like they were disinterested and did not want to deal with me. Even when their call ended, they decided it would be better to focus on contacting that person AGAIN rather than serve me.
I wanted to make a question about my order because I thought I was being overcharged, but she simply could not care less. She ignored me while I was speaking and just handed me the payment terminal for me to pay, still muttering things on her phone. I didn't care enough to get even more frustrated and make a scene, but also because there were other customers waiting to be seated and I thought if anything, they should receive at least some service. The manager ripped off the receipt and handed it to me after I paid and scurried off without any acknowledgement of me, still talking on the phone.
I'm not fussed about this, nor do I lose sleep over it, but quite frankly, I sincerely hope that this person gets their act together because they are doing their future diners and beautiful restaurant an immense disservice.

The menu is very affordable with most menu items being priced at $6.80 to $8. I highly recommend the fried octopus tentacles, the fried quail, grilled beef tongue, fried Ebi karaage, and beef tartar. They are all delicious, you'll prob need 6 dishes or so for 2 people to be full and 8 to 9 for 3 people. Overall, not bad for the pricing.
H.
Best lobster bisque in town
R. S.
Gyoza Gyoza Emporium has a nice vibe and good food! We enjoyed our gyoza and rice tea :)
E. S. J.
Very nice and helpful staff.
The food is delicious and there are vegetarian options. I had tofu and seaweed dish. Liam sajd fried octopus was great
, not to mention The drinks and dessert was great as well. They have packaged food and drink which was priced reasonably
S. a.
our favourite place to eat

Staff are very friendly and know their menu. Food was delicious and great value for money. The ambience was great, perfect for lunch, date, anything really. Meal deal is definitely a must, cheap and can try different things on the menu. Food came out very quickly too.
H. C.
The food was great, which was why I gave it four stars! The udon noodles were perfectly chewy, and the broth was savoury with a hint of sweetness. Would recommend. Had prawn and chives gyoza. It was very delicious and liked the crunch. However the service is a bit slow and the portion sizes are very small.
J. L.
I have been to Gyoza Gyoza before and have been really impressed with their drinks and food selection. Lots of variety in choices and for a reasonable price. Plenty of seating and a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for hosting family and friends.
The location at the Emporium is easy to get to and open at great hours. Really love their fried chicken and gyoza. Would highly recommend this restaurant to family and friends!
T. R.
Possibly one of Melbourne's hidden gems for Japanese food. Very delicious in a authentic atmosphere inside there convenient location in Emporium.
l. l.
Highly recommend the lobster roll here at Gyoza Gyoza. Very fresh oysters meat and nice dressing. The japanese small dishes are nice too. You can order from two sets of menus so lots of different selections. It is in the middle of shopping Center so very convenient before or after shopping. The only negative is they need to have more staff serving.
A. Z.
Some dishes are slow to be prepared but overall enjoyed the experience, all good items have the same price but if you order a lot, you may get pretty big bill in the end. The food quality is nice and it mostly tastes very good, 3 or 4 dishes is enough for a person. Talking about downsides: mini burgers are so so but look nice, also staff may not be able to speak English :( and take away boxes are payed.
M. A.
What's there not to love about this place and the Japanese food they serve. Have been here many times and every time the food is fresh and more delicious than the time before. Great service too.
If you like Japanese food and you're in the area, you should definitely give them a try.
s. c.
A really nice place for 1 person eat. Some times I finish work tired and want some place quiet I’ll go Gyoza Gyoza. All the meals are small size, which is perfect for individuals. I can try various dishes one time.
Additionally, they have the best Fried dumplings with various choices for vegetarians and meat lovers.
L. M.
I have been coming here for years and love it. One of my fave places.
K. M.
I went there with my wife for dinner on a Thursday night. Place was reasonably busy. The Tapas food and Gyoza was really good, service was great (all the waiting staff were very polite and helpful). My wife and I both really enjoyed it. Would definitely go back again in the future.
F. R.
I had the grilled ox tongue with sea salt and sesame oil. It was very delicious and the meat was really tender and of good quality. It was well marinated and ate the ox tongue with steamed rice. The price was a good value for money. I did enjoy my meal!
O. K.
My partner and I often eat at Gyoza Gyoza whenever we’re nearby. Value for money is incredible! We usually get 5 or 6 dishes to share that are always tasty. Impressive drinks menu too. We’ll always be frequent customers here and would recommend to all!
S. M.
Really good service, food and drink! The range of food and drinks had us drooling. We wanted everything on the menu and it took us forever to decide. Luckily the servers were understanding and let us take our time without rushing us.
s. l.
The staff were attentive & incredibly friendly & sweet. :) We were first drawn to the store by the really pretty swirl cone rose&lychee and matcha swirl cone they have, and saw a lot of people ordering it too. We ordered the beef & salmon tataki salad, the fried rice & fried lotus chips which were my favourite!! They were served piping hot which was a huge plus too. Each portion is for 6.80 and the staff mentioned that the size is “small”, however the salad alone would be enough for a meal if you aren’t very hungry. I personally find it incredibly worth it, amazing quantity & quality!! The beef was sooo tender and freshand the salad was fresh & crunchy- not soggy and sauce soaked like most places are. I’m a student from Singapore and even I think that this is affordable!! Will back for more for sure w my friends :)
E. A.
Amazing food and service
E. G.
Love their gyoza, especially the pan fried pork & garlic one, it is pan fried with the crispy bottom and the fillings are really flavoursome too. Their soft serve and green tea is nice as well, soft serve is smooth and great flavour for both green tea and the other tea, can't remember the name...Will visit again to try other dishes!
P. N.
After my previous dining experience here for dinner, decided to come here for lunch. Terrible choice of music for a lunch experience after shopping. Music was LOUD and choice of music sounded like I was in a rave/club. Cheese scallop and lamb ribs are always a treat. Ice cream was a let down, as it was too icy and not cheapy. Can feel ice particles while eating it.
=========================
Highly recommend the lamb ribs. Small dishes which is always good to share. Large drink selection. Matcha icecream for dessert. Excellent service and food.
n. s.
Loved the food and the ambience. Staff is way too mannered and giving the by far best service. The pork belly is a big yes yes here and the teriyaki
chicken is something you will relish forever.
C. P.
This is my 5th time here and i love the food. The staff are great as well. I had the linch special before which was awesome and now I’m having the cold noodles and tamago with truffle oil. Great price and place to try a lot of Japanese food in one go. Just one thing, the food service was a bit slow compared to my previous visits.
Y. N.
The okonomiyaki was good as well as the cheesy dishes
F. R. M.
This is a great place for lunch. The set menu has a huge variety of choice. Two small courses along with miso soup, salad, soba noidles or rce, a small egg dish and more for under $17. Dont forget to order the mini matcha tea icecream for $1. Excellent value, I'll be back.
W.
Great place in the city for a quick and cheap lunch feed. Food is high class and delicious. Would recommend the seaweed salad along with a Pork Gyoza. Nice aesthetic for being in the middle of Emporium. Keeps with the high class feel of the space
A. H.
Staffs were very friendly. Nice environment for a casual lunch/dinner. Big selection of food and drinks. We ordered gyoza, Japanese fried chicken and steak, they were all delicious! Highly recommend!
h. f.
Can't remember how many times we have been here and everything is so amazing. We ordered 10 dishes and finished them all. Recommend the soft crab roll and oyster. 😀😀😀超级推荐哦~

REASONABLE QUALITY JAPANESE FAST FOOD
Situated in Emporium Melbourne, this food outlet offers typical Japanese dishes. Most popular are the "takeaway" meals that you can buy and then find a table to eat at in the emporium... warning.. Emporium can be super busy at peak lunch time so you may NOT get a table easily and the outlet does not have its own reserved tables.
Food quality is OK - think prepackaged sushi / sashimi and they take cards and cash.
S. D. E.
Great customer service! The food was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this place as this was probably one of the most wonderful Japanese restaurant I have been in Melbourne! Every cent is worth it and every meal is unforgettable.
J. N.
Fantastic service, nice food and beautiful
Ambiance..very comfortable
L. M.
Very good, food, appetizers chicken and lemon grass dupplings very nice and tasty freshly made.chicken sweetand sour also very nice, grispy and freshly made, chunky meat pieces. The right amount of sauce n top, mocktail delicious the flavour not too sweet and not too bitter. Love the service of the staff, meet all needs from the moment i entered the restaurant.
O.
We ordered the Wafu Steak, the Gyu Tan and the Ebi Tempura, and all were prepared well. Dishes were on the more pricey side, but it was a good time. Loved the Ebi Tempura most, would definitely recommend to try!
K. P.
Been here twice. Nice food and atmosphere but when we ordered a dessert for my daughter just now. It took more than 30min. And it hasn't come...
A. T.
Loved the place! Great service, lovely place. And the food is very tasty and similar to Japan.
The hot soba was very good and we loved the cheese karaague tasteful and it was not salty or spicy.
E. H.
Loved this restaurant! The food is delicious, portion sizes are good to share and small enough to order lots of different things. Will definitely be coming back!
O. T.
nice variety of japanese snacks to choose from. staff were friendly and service were good. the food are alright. expected a bit more from such pricig though.
B. E.
Vibrant and contemporary Japanese restaurant! We had 4 dishes from the menu and all of them were delicious and authentic. Would recommend anyone coming to try the Okonomiyaki!
Q. Y. T.
Authentic Japanese restaurant. the tomago Yaki (japanese egg omelette) was very nice and the japanese dumplings were very worth it. The Matcha was beautiful with the chocchip cookie. Only the Japanese know how to do this.
E. K.
Wonderful services with average foods. Ordered lobster pasta, sashimi, beef salads, and gyoza. Surprisingly prawn gyoza is the best amongst the others. Ice tea with matcha ice cream with too much ice in it.
W. F.
it has a very cosy atmosphere, nice service withthe staff. The food is astonished to me, looked so lovely and yummy, your money abdolutely deserve. By the way, very healthy.
J. Z.
It's quite good place to have dinner with friends. I like Unabana lobster rolls most, and I order Thai flavor everytime I come here. Good to share with friends.
B. B.
The food is good. It could be 5 star if the service is a bit faster (good service but just a bit slow) but overall we have a good experience and will be our next choice again when coming shopping at Emporium.
L. D. C.
the food is good. the desserts is good. price is great. the service is okay. If you have to complaint or feedback about anything, go straight for the manager.
M. Y.
When you don't wanna pay 5 bucks for artisan gelato, come here for 2.80 matcha soft serve which will definitely come back for more! Ice cream all the way to the bottom of the cone. Awesome stuff.
P. W.
