Love this little place and the view. Staff are super friendly and welcoming having a laugh from the second you meet them. The place is a nice and neat venue with bistro and sports bar (if you’re lucky you’ll meet the local friendly chap in Bully (legend) Bistro has a wonderful view of the lake with outdoor and indoor sitting. Staff were great being attentive and friendly with good country hospitality. We had the oysters, frutti de mare, steak and salmon. All were delicious and such a good compliment with the wine selection. All were sizeable and cooked well. We came back the following night for a wine and watching the sun go down in this great little place whilst in loch sport. Thanks to the team there especially the Canadian / Dutch lad behind the bar and the ladies in the restaurant!

Arrived for lunch on a very windy and rainy day. Sat outside as we had our dog with us. The outside area was sheltered so was comfortable with a great view. Staff were very friendly, beer cold and food was really good. One of the best parmas I've had. My partner had the squid and it was cooked perfectly. Not the cheapest, but we expect to pay a bit more in regional areas. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat in the area. Oh and we got a visit from a kangaroo!

Called in for lunch today, ordered Chicken Parmigiana for the two of us, absolutely amazing! Sat outside with our dog with lovely views of Lake Victoria, water provided for dogs, which is lovely. Beautiful clear day, with no mosquitoes or flies. Staff were really friendly and happy to go the extra mile, first class service. We are delighted to recommend this place for a friendly relaxed atmosphere and absolutely awesome food.

Went there on a trip with my local mate Elias... I was very much surprised with the meals area and set up. The chef made some great Korean Chicken. Elias ordered many other delights. Service was good and the wine list was good for a Country location, especially having the Shaw & Smith Sav. Overall very enjoyable dinner.

anecdotally, I knew this town to be friendly, but it was not how I entered the Lakeview bar and bistro loch sport that my beliefs were confirmed. The staff have the perfect combination of exuding a laissez Faire aura, yet are meticulous with meeting your every need, when and how you want it. Your drink never runs dry and you never notice is being filled. The food is presented modestly with no good reason, it is delicate, different, and has a naughty undertone - a cheeky undertaste if you like. Having a meal here is like having a dirty martini - relaxing, stylish and efficient. If you want a pretentious vibe go elsewhere, but if you are in the modern classic vibe I would highly recommend.

We had lunch there on 31st December 2020. It was busy but we managed to get a table straight away. The service was quick and we got the food served very soon even though it was busy. I ordered seafood pasta and my wife had gnochi and both the dishes were very good and it was value for money. Heaps of seafood on my plate. Will surely go back when I'm in the area next. One thing that could be better is the service with a smile. The staff looked a bit under the pump.

Came for dinner on Saturday night, when we ordered they let us know there would be a long wait on food which we where ok with. They seemed really unorganized & we had atleast 4 waiters ask us throughout the night what we where still waiting on or ask our order again and at one point brought out our entree again after we had already had them. Cheesy garlix bread and prawn entree where very tastey. Steak was amazing, extremely well cooked. Partner had the parma and wasn't too impressed but ate it. Great view & loved the courtesy bus.

My family and I cam here for dinner last night without a reservation. The restaraunt was packed and they still took us in. The customer service was impeccable. Free activity packs for the kids. The food was beautiful and we only waited 40 minutes for our meal, which is amazing considering the amount of people that were there. Can not fault our experience.

Went for dinner. It was closed at 6.30 pm. Try again sometime. Edit. Ok. Went back again the next night. It's seems the pub was shut due to a power outage earlier in the day. Enjoyed a very nice chicken parma in the bar chased down with a couple of very cold beers. Excellent location right on the lake. It was very quiet but only because there were no tourists in Loch Sport. Hosts were very good too, even picked us up in the courtesy bus so we could avoid driving and enjoy a few more tasty refreshments.

We were lucky enough to get a table outside on such a busy day with triathlon on next door. My friends like their salt and pepper calamari and fish and chips. Very decent servings and tasty. I pinch some of her calamari. I had chicken Caesar salad. Boring...a lot of lettuce to fill bowl.. I was disappointed. Oh well. It was a great environment looking out at the sea...

Since being taken over by the new owners, the pub has really improved in all areas. In terms of food, you cannot go wrong here. Pizza and calamari is highly recommended. Also, atmosphere of pub is amazing - always live bands. Great to see Loch Sport flourishing.

Finally someone who can cook. Should l say chef and a very good one at that even under pressure managed great food. The pizza needed a thinner base or a hotter crust it was to soft and doughy. Beer is cold staff are more adaptive and willing to make an occasion great at the Marina hotel.

Enjoyed a very tasty, light lunch in the Bistro over looking beautiful Lake Victoria. The Beetroot, Lettuce and Feta Salad was a treat for the tastebuds. The dressing and roasted pine nuts delivered a subtle earthy flavour profile which did not steal away the saltiness of the Feta. The Calamari in the Salt and Pepper Calamari popped in the mouth like marshmallows. I particulary enjoyed the white sauce which had a little depth and body to it with what appeared to be finely chopped cooked onion, not runny insipid milk. It was a true dining pleasure. Beautifully cooked, seasoned and presented this meal would rival many of the seafood foodie destinations in Melbourne. The Staff greated you warmly and though not busy the meals and beverages were out in a little over 15 minutes. We highly recommend this location and we will definately return to LakeView in the near future to assist with and support economic recovery from the recent devastating bush fires which have ravaged the East Gippsland Region.

Cosy small bottle shop Limited variety, however suites the purpose. Purchased Carlton Cold which expired in March 2019. Didn't realise until we already got back to the house. The purchase was in December 2019.
