Shweta and her staff were very helpful from start to finish. The food was delicious and the service was prompt. All the guests and hosts were utterly satisfied and happy with the vegetarian food. I would recommend Lala’s Kitchen to everyone.

Professional and flexible team that were receptive to our needs for our big Indian wedding and really went the extra mile to make the day quite special. We held our ceremony and reception on the same day so Sweta and her team really had to work quite hard to bring it all together - and they definitely did! As I am from a South-Indian background and we requested that one of the meals was a traditional thali, Shweta personally made versions of the food and brought it over for us to try to make sure we were happy. She was more than happy to answer all the questions we had throughout the process, and went the extra mile to ensure that everything was to our taste and fancy - this included getting extra wait staff as we needed them as well as bringing extra articles such as water goblets and posters to make our lives easier. On the day, she made sure that things ran smoothly and the food is still being talked about by our guests as some of the best catered food they've had in years! Thanks so much to Lala's Kitchen's team for making our celebration such a special and memorable one :)

I live in North and this restaurant is a good one hour away from my house yet during the COVID lockdown, they delivered. The food was amazing. The Fulwadi (gujarati delicacy) and Kaju Curry are to die for. I thought they were a one hit wonder and so I decided to test them 3 weekends in a row and the taste, quality and service are consistent. I cannot wait for them to open up and visit them for a Thali experience. You guys are a little piece of "Sunshine" that I look forward to on the weekend.

We ordered the gujarati dishes takeaway. Absolutely delicious. Took me back to my childhood memories. Hope you continue to deliver to Eastern suburbs. All the dishes, undhiyu, sev tamato nu shak, bharela ringan, rotla, dabeli , vada pauv and mainly the gujarati dal super delicious.

We had our dinner today. Starters were good Lilva kachori & Veg Manchurian so got 3 *s. Main curries were ok but Naans were smelly n not cooked properly. We couldn’t finish all our curry n naans, very disappointed. Water glasses and cutlery weren’t clean n very dirty. Expensive a bit.

Amazing Food, Great Hospitality. We were a group of about 14 people, went in for their Sunday unlimited Buffet. The food was amazing with the best hospitality in Melbourne. I organised two functions at Lala's Kitchen and I must say' I didn't regret.' I had a wonderful experience. Swetaben and their staff took care of my guests really very well. I found their staff supportive and friendly throughout the event. I would also like to recommend their butter milk, Mango delite, Kaju curry and tantalising pani Puri..If you are looking for gujarati catering in Melbourne, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lala's kitchen..

We had all our daughter's first birthday at Lala's Kitchen. Absolutely recommend, everything was great right from service to food to cleanliness. Definitely a one stop shop to host an event in south east, they were very flexible to our requirements. Going back again. Kudos to Sweta and team at Lala's kitchen.

Gathered for a birthday and the space is sufficient for about 40-50 families (max). Food was great. Note: Tricky to find the entrance for firstimers; they do have parking right outside the restaurant, hence look for other areas to park only if you don't find space there.

This is an incredible venue. My pal Matthew and I attend attend at least once a month and are always more than satisfied with the food served. The customer service is amazing and we continue to feel loved and appreciated every time we come in. There are not many other venues I’d recommend ahead of this one.

By far the best Indian restaurant in Melbourne. We had heard good reviews from some friends, but I had set my expectations really low, as we have tried many restaurants here but the food was strictly ok. However, Lala's food was soooooo delicious. A must try place for every indian food lover. They have lot of dishes off the menu so ask for recommendations.

They have really good options to select from. Shweta is very friendly person to.communicate with, she gave me good ideas and explained everything in detail. Myself and my wife visited in Saturday. We were it’s a chaat night and only chaat are available to eat. 1. Pani puri- Good 2. Delhi chat- average 3. Dabeli- Good 4. Chinese rice- worst. I don’t know how they describe Chinese rice as chaat. Only four items on a chaat is very very less. The only good thing was live Pani puri stall, but the lady who served urged us to eat fast(since we are not gujarathi’s, she said we gujarthi’s eat fast). Dabeli had too much garlic and wife couldn’t eat that and filled her stomach with Pani puri. We told about this to the owner and she was kind enough to give us some dabeli’s without garlic as takeaway. 3 starts for this gesture.
