Very casual and unique vineyard. Don't go there if you want classy or fancy pants, but if you want laid back friendly staff, scattered outdoor seating that's dog friendly,, good *free* tasting, then check it out. Reasonable wines at $9/glass, wide range of liqueurs and ports. Food was ok, mainly pizza (we tried the lamb pizza). Heaps of room to chill out outdoors with kids and dogs. Two very cute resident whippets to meet as well. We will be back with friends as think it would be fun with a group.

Interesting and fun place. Nice friendly staff. Ping pong table free to play. Trampoline for kids. While we waited for our food a member of staff provided us all with a puzzle to solve. We completed a couple but they were all quite challenging we had a great time.

An exceptional visit. One of the most interesting and welcoming cellar doors we have experienced. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, the food absolutely terrific and the games and puzzles mind bending. Thank you.

Wonderful Woodfired pizzas with a wide and varied selection. Excellent local wines and beers on offer and good old fashioned vibe.

Great food, we got the platter and it is such a reasonable price for the amazing amount of food on it. Inside is quirky and the staff who I assume are the owner are so lovely and friendly, also very dog friendly

Love this place. They are planning of opening a nursery too. Chilled environment with delish home made pizzas. Still not open but can't wait till they do. Sandra and Rob are always welcoming

What a lovely and quirky place. Say hi to Angus the super friendly Whippet. The wine and pizzas are lovely too. We also had a taste of the gold port and coffee port exceptional. These will prove to be great items under our Christmas tree this year. We will be back. Thanks for a nice afternoon.

Had a wonderful time! What a fantastic place to enjoy a lovely evening. Robert and Sandra made all of us, including the kids, feel very welcome. It has a very homely feel and we all thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Very tasty pizzas and good range of drinks to enjoy.

I love this place. The pizzas are just perfect. Thin crispy base. Cooked quickly in a hot wood fired oven. Nice balance of toppings and covered in fresh rocket. Ambience and streaming of 60s music is very funky. And beautiful setting.

Great liqueur wines, quaint restaraunt, friendly enough staff, not wrapped in the pizzas though, perhaps going a bit more main stream with the choice of pizza would improve the chances of getting repeat business.
There is a great wood fire oven, but the selection of pizzas is a let down,

Lovely spot. Good white wines great pizza and freindly people. Don't let young kids torment Psycho the dog. Very rustic country Victorian winery. No airs and graces. Recommended.

It was cold, wet and dreary in Ballarat today, but not where Bella and I were. It was the perfect day to drop into the fabulously quirky @mount.buninyong.winery restaurant where the fire was warm and cosy and we enjoyed a few games of Connect Four and the most delicious wood fired pizza and Bella had ‘the worlds yummiest’ Pea and Ham soup! If you are ever in the area, go check it out. You will not be disappointed!!

A quaint little winery in the middle of no where (or it definitely felt like the middle of no where!). The staff seemed friendly and the decor inside the restaurant was a cool eclectic mix of retro goodies.
I'm not sure if we went on a particularly busy day, or things are usually like this, but we waiting 1h45m for 2 pizzas and to make things worse, our drinks weren't even brought out in this time. We didn't have anywhere else to be and we just killed the time playing board games, though if we were in a hurry, it would have been a massive pain.
It seems like the kind of place that there was no point seeing how far away things were, because everyone seemed in the same boat and complaining would have only increased the stress on staff when they were probably already under enough.
PIzzas were ok, though not worth the wait.
Plenty of open space outside to relax with a quiet wine in the sun. Probably not a bad place for an afternoon session if you're in the area and not in a rush to be anywhere else.

Awesome - as per usual - do call ahead just to make sure they're open though, or better, book in advance. Amazing home prepared for and wine though definitely worth getting there when you can!

Awesome place with delicious food. Ask the manager to play the brainteasers which kept was going for ages. Table tennis outside for the kids and a fish that sings for you in the loo.

Fabulous kooky eclectic little relaxing shed amongst the trees and grape. Nice pinot. Gooood pizza. Casual and professional staff. Well worth the trip to bunninyong.

Loved the Aussie homestead feel. Best thin crisp pizza base ever. Best pizza ever. Loved the Greek salad, the chips and the sav blanc.
Give it a go.
