Lovely quirky place that serves freshly cooked food. Other items available in store too, from clothes, chocolate and preserved items.
Nice friendly staff and lovely wood fire keeping the place warm.
Some history on display explaining the European heritage of the area.
R. H.
A wonderful spot to stop for lunch. The burgers were absolutely amazing and didn't take too long to come. The seating area was nice and wide open with the walls full of history about Beechy.
P. C.
Great Cafe and more impressive museum of locally acquired items. Very friendly staff.. sandwich is typically country style size..must see stop..
A. M.
From the outside you never guess how much culture, warmth and character you would come across in this warm and friendly cafe. It has caring staff and quality soups, great coffee and wide-ranging menu. It also contains a museum of Otway history. Very clean and hygienic, well-maintained toilets and visitor-friendly ambience.
B. O.
Lovely place. Superb clean toilets. Fresh food. Locally made products, jams, preserves etc.friendly staff. Was well worth coming here for breakfast.
L. C.
A quirky shed full of character, local produce, history and great food! Must stop if you in the area!
P. H.
I love this place so much. Good food, good prices; unique and endearing ambience; owner and staff are always so friendly, chipper. Even on the coldest of Otway days, the warmth of this place (canara included) is bliss. For me, it's the centre / starting-point of the bush and sea.

It is a beautiful concept. While you are eating or drinking something to warm up from outside, there is so much to see. From vintage shopping to stories on the walls to read. They have a lot of vegan options as well. We had the veggie burger and the shed burger. They both taste amazing! Some fries with it would be nice, we assumed they where included with burgers, but they are not😅The only 'downside' as beautiful the concept is, it isn't really warm in the shed. There is one small fireplace, but no isolation. So inside it is pretty cold during the winter months. But it is definitely worth a visit! Got a lot of inspiration from this place. We are traveling Australia for two years now in our Troopy. We sold everything to live a life of freedom. Follow @dorathebelgianexplorer on insta to see our adventures. Have a great day ☀️

We called in for lunch and we liked it very much. Good food, friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. A very interesting place...
A. A.
What a great little place in beautiful surroundings! We stopped here for lunch and it was so good. We had pies, pasties, wraps and everyone had a coffee or milkshake. I had a chai latte and it was so spicy and delicious. The staff are very friendly and were so helpful. The museum items around the shed were so interesting to read and the photos from times past were very cool. I love all the local things you could buy and there was a great selection of vintage clothes and shoes to have a look through! I will definitely stop here again.
S. R.
Great stop if your in the area. Good toasties and super affordable too. They also have a small range of groceries and beer available to take away
D. H.
Fantastic place to stop for lunch. Friendly staff and great food - nice coffee also.
Plenty of great local produce to take away too.
Has a small museum inside which has all sorts of artifacts and historic information about the area. I loved the old photos.
O.
Cute combination of café and museum! Didn't eat but had a delicious coffee. Staff were lovely. Handmade items for sale including soaps, wooden bowls, knitted/crochet beanies/scarves/blankets. A variety of books sold for 50c each - rummaged through and bought one we liked. Wood fire stove with couches, tables and chairs around which made a cozy atmosphere to escape the rain outside. Gallery of historic photographs, tools and equipment on display with information about the area's past. Quaint spot to stop in, relax and browse before hitting the road again. Gave us a pleasant break from our 3 hour drive. Enjoyed and will return if in the area again.

It wasn’t what I was expecting at all! All around there was absolutely gorgeous rolling hills and then the actual cafe was in a tin shed, It was well labeled and had a quirky vibe with wheelbarrows and flowers. Inside there were two spaces, the counter and the section where you could buy local produce and the dining area. The tables were old and the chairs were creaky. It was hot and the service was very slow. The food was pretty average there were vegan options but pretty much all the same. Also not cheap for two burgers and drinks it was $40!!! Wouldn’t recommend coming here
m. l.
The hamburgers are fantastic - brilliant bun, beef and chutney make them delicious. Coffee is good and staff are nice. All round good experience and best cafe in the Otways we have found.
D. A.
Very homely and nice. The burger was abit messy but worth it if you're after a quick pit stop on your travels.
K.
Definitely great food, good atmosphere, nothing negative to say about this place. Amazing service, definitely come by if you’re in the area.
B. B.
We all had burgers, food didn’t take long and was delicious. Service was lovely. Outside sitting area was great despite the flys. Nice rustic feel and wholesome food. Would highly recommend!
a.
Amazing cafe/shop with so much charm and character. This is an absolute must visit place. The staff were wonderful and the food was delicious! We had the green breakfast and scrambled eggson toast with mushroom, avo and tomato sides. We also had chai tea for 2 brewed with almond milk. Will be back again next time :)
N. S. P.
Perfect little lodge to stop by for a meal. Hearty food at decent prices. Coziest interior for a restaurant. Staff are friendly too. We got the fergy burger with chips. Burger was decent (still good) but the fries were amazing.
J. C.
This is a great place to stop for a meal. An old barn conversion with heaps of interesting old items. A nice warm fireplace to sit around. The staff are friendly and great for a chat. The burger was sensational. It was huge and the chips were delicious.
L. E.
Cool shed with antiques creating great atmosphere. Service is amazing and the food was delicious. We had an earth burger, animal lovers wrap, organic coffee and rooibos tea, and the incredible raspberry white chocolate muffin. All were huge, delicious, healthy, fairly priced and served on the most adorable vintage plates. Great choice for lunch or brekky and meat lovers have great options too.
F. R.
This place is a gem! I was lucky that Google led me here for a food stop (thanks to the other reviews)! Rustic vibe, nicest staff and delicious food! Easily the best meal (I ordered the chicken burger) our group had whilst on the Great Ocean Road trip. Plus they also have a section for basic groceries and novelty items to bring home.
J. a. S. L.
Wholesome food! Arrived for a late lunch and ordered the eggs and a chicken burger. Both were delicious and fresh! The portions were also very generous. The coffee hit the spot too. Great friendly service. Would definitely return.
G. B.
Country style spacious shed restaurant. Great views. Lots of local historical photos and memorabilia. Not expensive v. friendly staff great serve food. Note the opening hours.
A. W.
Awesome place for lunch, staff are lovely and welcoming. The food was rustic, homely and delicious. It was also very reasonably priced (great value for money). There is also so much history in the barn, cool how they have information out on the walls about the building and area. Little shop to buy a few things too (food, Nick nacks etc).
S. S.
Great food, great coffee, great value.
C. C.
Back in the old days! A taste of the past and hard way of life and a great taste of today's burgers! Highly recommend!
k. h.
Had an amazing lunch . Homemade soup (delicious), the sour dough with real butter was so good with the soup but could eat it on its own...
The gluten free chocolate brownies were lovely and the coffee in the sustainable bio cup was great flavoured taste .
Amy is super friendly and very welcoming and loved browsing the old wares and thrift items on display .
Will come back thank you
K. R.
Fantastic environment and delicious food! Hope to come next time.
F. F.
Perfect welcoming, perfect burger, perfect steak in the burger, perfect GF brownie
Perfect place, original & with local products. Thank you !
E.
Great food, great service! And an awesome bit of history to top it off!
S. E.
Nice cafe with great food and coffee tucked away in the Otways that duals as a small convenience store. Burgers are great.
R. W.
Amazing little place! Nice atmosphere and really friendly service. The food was great and made fresh. There was an at home touch with the handmade blankets and wood heater. Would highly recommend this place.
C. C.
Would certainly recommend to anyone. Just looking for a place to sit and have a bite to eat and a coffee, this is it! A retro feeling place with some good history. The staff are lovely and the food is delicious.
R. D.
Have just had the most delicious $10 vegetarian brekky meal/coffee deal. It is a unique spot to eat and drink with lovely hospitality including a nice warm fire.
N. H.
Stopped by the Otway NouriShed for lunch last week, and had one hell of a burger. Sitting inside by the fire and having a coffee is delightful in the middle of winter - but it's worth a visit at any time of the year.
G. P.
Friendly staff and caring customer service will welcome you to come here again 😊
K. Z.
Great pit stop just 5 min from Triplet Falls. Enjoyed the chicken burger and coffee!
B. H.
Me and my friend stopped by this little store on the way threw to the great ocean road, it was funny we ordered the same sized latte except we got noticebly different sized cups.
It has old history items from around the otways to look at while you dine which was interesting.
A. C.
Wow what a terrific place. The staff are really friendly, beautiful views and the food is excellent. A great variety of sandwiches pies, cakes etc. You can also buy locally produced jams, food, soap, wooden bowls etc. Definitely worth visiting.
H. C.
Great little find, tasty sandwiches & good iced coffee.
M. T.
Definately worth having a snack or lunch.. very cute ambience and great burgers.
L. M.
Quirky place for lunch. Friendy service and the food was superb!
T. J.
This place is five stars. Just Covid has made it a bit slow. Still has all the essentials, plenty of parking and space to sit around. Local museum is attached. On the bike trail ride and 100 time more appealing than the cafe at The Fly/treetop walk down the road. Scenery through Ferguson is gorgeous rolling hills and distant vistas. Not open every day so there may be a need to check first.
N. H.
Like everyone else, just loved it. Food, drinks, antiques, just the whole vibe of the thing. Keep up the great work!
J. J.
I’ve loved this place for breakfast since 2014! The best scones you’ll ever find in Australia. Great coffee, pies, eggs... everything tastes like ‘how mom used to make’! Even their homemade bread tastes great! Amy is a sweetheart and a livewire. A visit to Otways is not complete without a visit to the NouriShed <3
H. G.
How to turn an old potato shed onto a cafe with heaps of memorabilia. Lovely view from the deck. Old rustic charm. Good selection of food to choose from.
A. L.
The best burger in town ! And excellent coffee. All with a smile. A true countryside experience.
V.
Stopped in after doing the tree top walk. Nice quaint little spot
S. W.
This place is really cute. I recommend anyone visiting if you are in the area. The woman (owner?) working there was one of loveliest people I have ever met. I had a coffee and a bacon sandwich for breakfast, and it was very tasty. It was very cold outside and sitting by the fire eating my breakfast was great. They even had a little museum, which I found very interesting.
R. H.
Love this place. My husband and I popped in this morning for the first time and the customer service was incredible! The lady who served us was very friendly. The coffee was not the best in the world, but that was far outshone by the service and overall atmosphere of the place. If you want to enjoy a hot meal and a coffee all while having the chance to learn a little bit of history about the Otways, then this place is perfect for you.
S. C.
Good food.
Good price.
Great place to visit.
Friendly staff.
Clean.
A. K.
Such wonderful people. It warms your heart when you have such amazing people putting their heart and soul in the work they do.
The burgers here were amazing - Shed was great. The toasties were perfectly toasted.

Visiting from Qld, our friends took us to this unique, cute and comfy cafe & museum. Lots of interesting historical pieces to view, lovely local goodies & a warm, friendly atmosphere. Had the best chicken burger I've ever tasted! Awesome coffee too! Thank you for a most enjoyable experience!
B. H.
Friendly staff and a nice place to stop for refreshments
E. S.
Great place to stop & purchase amazing produce, enjoy coffee & cake or lunch with family & friends. Fantastic collection of history photos of the area & aged equipment set in the beautiful Otway highly recomend well worth the stop
K. K. M.
This place is great! If you're in the area you should definitely stop for a bite. The owner is super friendly and does everything by herself. Food is very good, there's a number of burger options. You'll dine in an old potato shed surrounded by a number of random old objects that will make the atmosphere "special"
T. D.
Very tasty coffee, the best carmel slice and a fantastic chai! The place has a really cool vibe with all the old staff surrounding you and the authentic old walls and flooring. I’d totally come again when in neighborhood!
P. H.
Great spot with nice views. Lots of quirky memorabilia around the walls. Tasty menu, not a huge selection, but enough. I had the Fergie burger with fries. Beautifully presented, staff are lovely and meal was excellent.
Worth going out of your way if you are in the area.
S. 2.
This place had a few ups and downs. Starting with the ups, the food tasted great and outside the window was a beautiful view. But then there were the downs of the place. The place was a restaurant in an old looking shed and I reckon some people won’t even know it is a restaurant. Also, they didn’t serve a lot of food. It is a good place for a burger and a pie, but not much else.
M. T.
Delicious Vanilla Slices and the Chai Lattes equally as good. Immaculate and friendly service too!
T. L.
Gorgeous large barn conversion. Perfect stop over after the winding roads. There is a mini shop of local arts, crafts and delicacies. The mini restuarant/cafe serves coffee, cakes and a generous selection of hot meals (we had delicious hot chips and pie). The decor is like a step back in time, with a mini museum of the tools, stories and photos of the timber mill it once was. The tables and chairs are a mixed collection of 60's-80's furniture. Very pleasant experience.
T. V.
Best bacon and eggs on toast I've had and @matjoez as well. Cool setting as well. Good coffee
A.
Very cute little cafe with friendly staff. Has an old school charm!!! Food was fresh and amazing quality. Prices were surprisingly less compared to other nearby places. They have vegan and vegetarian options too.
A. T.
Lovely quaint little cafe and gift shop. Friendly staff and nice food and coffee.
J. F.
Lovely stop, friendly staff and the museum was really nice. Some interesting stories and pieces of history.
N. D.
Best place! I come here whenever I can. Great range of fresh, tasty, reasonably-priced food (not easy to find in this area!). Inspired menu catering to different food preferences. Beautiful shed, cosy with nostalgia and you can even learn something too through period photos that show an unrecognisable Otways. I'm a big fan 💕
P. M.
What a great cafe the 4 of us totally enjoyed our meals. I had vegie soup with sourdough toast it was so good. The staff were wonderful it was clean and cozy. Would definitely be back.
J. S.
Great coffee and just a welcome surprise in the middle of nowhere, I know my wife would love all the quirky little treasures and great produce...

V. T.
Amazing food and spectacular service! 5 stars isn't enough for this place. Great collection of old bits and bobs to look at and local products to buy. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.
S. D.
The lady at the counter was really really nice and friendly. We bought chicken burgers and they were awesome.
The museum area has a lot of historical information about Otways.
The furniture in the museum looks totally random but when you take then all together the environment was cosy.
D. M.
Gorgeous and intriguing shop with a unique and relaxed vibe. Amy the hostess was most warm, bubbly and welcoming (such a joyous character). Just a lovely place and a must do for lunch before exploring the falls.
J. H.
This was such a cool place! Coffee was alright (not the best) but the experience and place is so cool! Thestaf were super friendly bubbly and inviting, they even had a fire going to cosy up to before gettig back out in the rain to explore some more. Totally weth the stop in!
J. H.
Love this place! Friendly staff, caters for people who prefer non-standard options - dandy latte! Almond milk! Also has on offer an eclectic mix of local goods which are fun to explore.
J. J.
Excellent little stop off after a walk through the rainforest. Lots of interesting decor and local produce/preserves/handiwork. We had the delicious focaccia and nachos on the menu! Coffee was spot on and they had eftpos facilities which is rare in this area! Staff were so friendly . Perfect environment for a relaxing break!
M. S.

Nice and cosy little cafe; great service and great food. Walls full of historic photos on Otways. Very interesting. Sells local goods as well. Been here twice and will definitely be back the next time we are in the Otways.
C. J.
Lovely barn conversion in a scenic setting. Great sandwiches and coffee, along with friendly service. Perfect rest stop on the way back to Melbourne.
A. C.
Burgers are great. But unfortunately we came at a very busy time so we wait quite a while for our meals (so did other customers). So if you are in a hurry, better ask about how long you might have to wait.
L. W.
Delicious array of local goodies and friendly staff

Heartwarmingly homely feel and rustic fitout is a true reflection Otway heritage. Friendly staff and service and amazing food at good prices. The sheep that escapes the confines of their padodock provided great entertainment. A must for anyone who appreciates a hidden gem and a bit of history!

A great little cafe full of history! Learn about old railways and the logging industry, coupled with helpful staff and great food. The logical place to stop for lunch while visiting the Otway Fly and Triplet Falls

Great place to stop for a feed and enjoy this unique cafe. Very clean and very well run
P. R.
This place is unique because of it's ambience..The food is ok but the place where you get to eat it is something different...They have maintained a museum about the history of the local people...The countless antiques and the local made goods add a classic touch to this cafe...worth visiting it for the experience...
C. W.
Really great place. Great food, service and ambience. Excellent for the kids too.
S.
Amazing food, friendly staff. I'd probably make it so people couldn't bash away on the out of tune piano but don't let that stop you.
J. L. M.
Surprising, we did not expect such ecclectic place when approaching the place on foot. It is full of charm. Good burguers, colourful museum, food and other ítems can be bought,.... and excellent music
D. V.
Cool history of the region there. Lots of "antiques". Central location for the country region. Food was tasty. Try the Shed Burger!
A. J.

(Translated) Historical place and also a location where time has stood still. Delicious cappuccino drunk among nostalgic photos from days gone by. Also a shop on site with some local products and especially many old things like 2nd hand clothing.

(Translated) As a tourist, you shouldn't just rush past this roadhouse, even if the corrugated iron hall looks uninviting from the outside. A new world opens up inside, which is both a journey through time and a museum. Of course there is also good coffee and great travel provisions. Definitely worth a stop.
(Original)
