Friendly service and a cosy open fire really made our dinner very pleasant. The bar attendant was really lovely and helped us select some local beers to try. The meals size is very generous and the lamb cutlets tasted great but were a little fatty, but otherwise this local pub is worth checking out if you want a very relaxed no fuss meal.

Visited during Parma Night on Monday. Hearty portions, brilliant value and very tasty. Highly recommended especially when there are few options for dinner in town. Wonderful find that avoided us having to drive to a bigger town for food. Perfect evening to anyone who stayed til closing time at the Hepburn Bathhouse.

It's a typical aussie pub, which is a nice relief in a very price tourist destination. Went in for dinner on a Friday Night and was not disappointed, place wasn't too busy and meals didn't take to long to arrive. Will definitely be back on our next RnR in Hepburn.

Went for dinner after making a reservation... Covid-19 protocols are firmly in place which was a refreshing change with a QR code you need to scan for contact tracing so thumbs up right there... 👍😊 Whilst the meals were both fresh and piping hot, the steak is way overpriced at $36... It was a $25 meal at best! 😳 Garlic bread was excellent though... 😁 Service is ok but not overly friendly and we almost felt like we were intruding compared to the level of service the 'locals' were getting... Looks like it could be a rocking country pub given the right circumstances and maybe we just landed on a bad night...?

A fantastic old style pub experience. Great service, good selection of traditional pub food with some modern twists, and lovely atmosphere. Pool tables, and sport playing on the large screen tvs. Great place for a large group to chill. An overlooked Hepburn Gem.

Typical country road pub. Food was good and the staff was friendly. They have a pool table and some tv displaying sports. Ususlly, you can see locals having a drink. Definitely stopping again on my way to Hepburn Springs.

We have eaten here 3 times over the last few months The new Chef has created the most delicious menu. The barrumundi was fresh and beautifully cooked. Look forward to visiting again. Well worth the drive from Ballarat. Old fashioned pub.

A locals pub that welcomes non locals. Pool tables, a music machine, smoking areas outside, family atmosphere and really friendly staff. A great place to unwind, meet locals and have a yarn. No fancy pants or uptight people, dog friendly and the haloumi burger make for a great place to spend a hot night with your mates.

Service was slow, only had 1 person behind bar 😟, not enough... 🤷👎 Apparently sold Premises + taking over Golf Club. I assume, Kitchen + Bar. The Way They Spoke.!? Not care factor- No-More.

My wife is a coeliac and finds it hard to eat anywhere. Problem is that most places claim to be gluten free but only cater for paleo. This place is TRUELY good for coeliacs!!! Nice little pub atmosphere too with friendly accommodating hosts. Five stars!!!

A great retreat for the weekend or more. The building is old style and huge with wide corridors, high ceilings & verandas. The pool is nice as are the gardens, surroundings & staff. Highly recommend having dinner in the restaurant
