Guys. I am addicted to the hotdogs here. They’re so so good. I got mine smothered in onions and cheese. It’s literally been my third one this week. Move over Bunnings I now have a different sausage and bread supplier. Food there was very good, it was busy they accidentally gave us the wrong thing and the Supervisor Mimi handled it so well, she was so nice. I would go back for sure! loved her service, we called her 15 minutes before coming and she set a table for 14 of us because we wanted to eat outside!

Used to be an amazing place for a family meal. Food has been average lately and the new ordering system is clunky. If your paying by card you need to order through a QR code on the table which freezes and needs to be reloaded a few times. Funny bit is they charge a credit card fee on the app and they also ask for a tip. You barely have any contact with the staff now so who's the tip for? I think I'll need to find a new local

We went for dinner and waitress told us to order via the app. The waitress was not helpful and we tried to call her a dew times but we seemed to get ignored. We did order via app and all our food come out at once. The food was delicious but due to entree and main coming out together not all food was eaten. Main portion of carbonara was small compared to the other dishes we ordered. We weren't advised of this not sure we will go back.

Fabulous service and best porterhouse steak I've ever had! We were there for a luncheon to celebrate a communion on Sunday November 18th in the outdoor area, it was a gorgeous sunny day and the airflow in the area was wonderful with the fans on. The servers were very helpful, always happy and even attended to my food requests as my husband and I eat halal food. Keep up the amazing work guys 👌

Signature Breakfast Pizza - bacon, mushrooms, egg, feta, hollandise sauce and fresh herbs tasted great - my first time having a breakfast on a pizza & it was a bargain of $16👍 View of the lake from the restaurant is also nice. There is an outside area in which you can sit, I think if the heaters were more powerful then it would be more comfortable to sit outside in cold weather.

One of the best Italian restaurants in west Melbourne. The staff are very friendly and ready to serve with a smile 😊 Grilled Barramundi was yum and I also ordered watermelon juice which was super refreshing.

Was here recently for a party with about 30 people. Service by the staff was really good. Food was always brought out to the table warm. Out of 30 orders, only two were wrong. That's good in my books. Pizza was delicious especially the Lamb pizza. Was recommended this and decided to try it out...perfection. Beer on tap, soft drinks. Beautiful view of the lake. And an small outdoor area for entertainment. Will definitely be returning.

Great venue for a Function. My son and fiance had their Engagement party here and the night was awesome! The finger food was fantastic and they looked after the guests very well. Would definitely recommend!

I hadn't eaten here for quite a long time until COVID hit and we ordered take away a few times from here. The waiting times weren't that long for four mains which was good. It is a ilttle pricey but serving sizes are quite big and the food is good but not that consistent. Some orders were better than others so just be mindful of that. A few years ago, I did have breakfast there and had pancakes which were done really well and it's a nice place to sit, especially a window seat facing the lake.

As usual, an excellent dining experience with a large and varied menu to suit all tastes. Staff always courteous and attend to your every needs including family gatherings. We celebrated post coronavirus lockdown with friends and had a very enjoyable evening, the meals were delicious and arrived in good time considering the very large number of diners, so it pays to book ahead to enquire regarding seating.

Tonight we had less than a perfect meal come out, my partner wasn't happy with it and requested it get sent back to be reviewed. The manager came out, advised that she had spoken to the head chef and 2 others, and all were in agreement that the meal was satisfactory. She was wonderful, she gave him the option to replace his meal, have it taken from the bill, what could we possibly offer you instead if you don't want that dish? It was beautifully handled, and earned them 5 stars. I'd do 6 if I could. Recommended!

Pretty good at their Caroline springs restaurant never had a bad meal there to be honest even after they changed their menus still weren’t too bad. Ps. Slices Caroline springs makes THE BEST Garlic pizza and extra cheese and chilly flakes trust me amazing!!! But now for their Doreen restaurant is a different story, My wife and I ate here not long ago and too be completely honest would never step foot in there again, I had the wagu burger, lol don’t think there was anything wagu about it was so dry I actually needed to put more sauce to even try finish it lucky I was starving other wise I would have thrown it out. Would not recommend this burger at all, my wife had the steak, was not tested properly and was over asked for medium it came out close too well done. No flavour red wine sauce ehhhh chips were probably the best part of both meals. Sorry Doreen store wish you were more like Caroline springs 🤙🏽

I've come to update my review of Slices, because they deserve it. We've been back twice since their recent renovations, and man, have they turned a corner. The place is aesthetically beautiful, always busy, but never a long wait to be seated and served. Dinner comes out hot and quickly, as always. The quality of food has never been an issue for me from this establishment. There are now salt and pepper shakers on the table, unlike my previous review below, and the service is many, many times better. Far more attentive, and friendly. On both occasions since being back, we were waited on by Nathan, who is an absolute credit to the restaurant. Had a bit of a blue with the billing on our last visit, I paid the bill for $76 but a quick query with the gf on the way out the door we decided that it couldn't have been right, and upon returning to the teller I was refunded the difference within a minute. My only suggestion is to engrave numbers into the tables to avoid this confusion, but apart from that, everything I had a problem with in my previous review has been addressed, and for that, you deserve these 5 stars. Well done. -- 2013 REVIEW: I agree with everyone else. The food was great, the service was awful. for a start, two people came to take our starters order, and the second one looked disgusted that the first one had already done it.... This isn't a posh restaurant, the price isn't posh, it's not posh food and it's not pretentious decor. So put some bloody pepper on the table, not have a waitress crack my pepper. It's embarrassing for both of us. Thirdly, we waited a good 10 minutes for someone to come and offer to box up the rest of our pizza. We got sick of waiting, so carried the pizza to the checkout. Again, embarrassing for both of us. Then, at the checkout, took another 5 minutes for us to pay, because they checked out another table on our bill! hahah... i hope the other tables bill was like a hundred bucks, because ours was just $37. Again, great food, awful, awful awful service.

Slices Family Restuarant is literally a family restuarant! I always feel welcome and the staff are just beautiful. I leave home to come to Slices just to get a coffee because they will be the only cafe in the area that knows how to make one. Food is fantastic, just wish they made their breakfast all day. Just tried the new breakfast menu!! Everything was delicious. I got the smashed avo with goats cheese and heirloom tomatos and it was amazing. My friend got the acai bowl and really loved it. So fresh and healthy. The best breakfast I've had in a long time and obviously the best location in caroline springs. I can't wait to try the new location in Doreen.
