It's all about the ambiance!! Between the almost invisible entryway, to the dimly-lit interior, the massive window and the very English/European servers; you'll feel transported to another time (think Victorian-Era London). We usually head in for a late-night coffee and dessert. The food is good, but a tad over-priced. But if you are looking for a place to have a bit of a romantic tête-à-tête, this is it!

Laid back hideaway on the first and second floors with a Chesterfield-meets-bistro speakeasy vibe. 40 page winelist and a one-side menu greet you upon arrival. Seating is a mix of shared sofas and normal bistro tables. Wine list is impressive and well-navigated by the staff. Food was varied (Japanese chicken via Canadian fries-and-cheese to Korean curry via minute steak) and surprisingly good. Classic casual, chilled venue.

Funny, quirky place. Not my style. It's too pretentious for my taste, but I can see how other people would enjoy it. It looks like a good place for middle-aged fancy gay men, or for straight couples on a late-night date. The entrance isn't clearly marked, which presumably ads to the "exclusive" atmosphere. It's definitely not cheap, but it has liberal opening hours, and the kitchen is open until late (like 3am or so). I only ate here once, and the food was OK. There's better value late-night food around the corner at "Butcher's Diner", but people come to the Supper Club mostly for drinks and the atmosphere.

We had garlic prawns and polenta chips done perfectly 👌. The ambience is laid back elegance. The music is barely there. Perfect for catchup chatting. Our wait staff friendly without being intrusive. Will be going again to try the extensive wine list and interesting menu.

Great for a late night wine or an afternoon coffee. This is by far one of my favourite bars in Melbourne. Its intimate and welcoming, full of old world charm. Be sure to get a seat near their icon window over looking parliament house!

How many great nights have we had here. I can’t remember, they are that good. An enormous wine list, but don’t panic knowledgable staff to help you through it. Great for a second date if you want to impress or a drink after theatre one of our friends like bed it so much ch they got married there.

There's no better place for food that is both delicious and something different. But don't come in with half empty pockets, an empty stomach and (unless you're French) without Google. One of the only places I could buy a fortified wine at the table out of their extensive selection. I'd recommend this place for dates, get together or casual meet ups. If alone its a nice place to relax with some wine. Next time I'll try the bar

Accessed via a single unassuming timber door from the street, and pirched on a landing atop a narrow stairway, The Melbourne Supper Club boasts a classic interior with a beautiful large round window overlooking plain trees and enormous classical paintings. Burgundy paint casts a moody ambiance, lit with candles and soft lightening. The staff are highly attentive and the menu extensive, offering tapas and main options, suitable for individuals or to share. The drinks menu offers options of every kind, including wine, spirits and beer from around the world.

Not going to lie, I actually only come here for their desserts and can only speak of them. Been here 3 times now for their sticky date pudding and lemon tart and have been very pleased each time. Lovely atmosphere and well tucked away; great to take friends or show people.

I usually love TMSS, but the service I received recently was shocking. The waitress had to be flagged down to take orders and would write down the order from one person (in a group of six) and then walk away. She never asked the rest of the table if they had any further orders. I had to ask for the water at the table to be refilled twice as she was not attentive in checking even when taking orders/bringing drinks. It was a quiet Sunday evening and they did not seem understaffed.

Great sparkling wine from Yarra Valley, as a French person and a Champagne enthousiaste I really enjoy it 🥰 The place looks like you’re in someone’s place, so the feeling of being a privileged person is here 😏 You can buy yourself a cigare too ! I totally recommend this place for a date!

Perfect place to go after 10pm. Great food(we had polenta chips, steak, chicken skewers) , wine, and atmosphere. The staff are friendly but know to leave you be. After you can enjoy a cigar upstairs. This place is class and has the confidence to avoid any pretence. Quality night out.

Supper club use to be great, food quality has gone down and service is lacking lately staff standing around talking. Supper clubs butchers board use to be amazing now just a disappointment. On the plus side polenta chips are still the go to!

This place is a timeless classic. Unlike so many pretenders to the drinking scene, the Supper Club is unaffected, genuine and authentic. Comfortable serving a menu of tasty food to go with its mind blowing array of high quality alcohol. Will live up to the expectation of any aficionado.

I came here to satisfy a craving for tiramisu that struck me at night. I'd been drinking, I was a little wilding but when I came in I just sank into the single most comfortable couch in Melbourne and subjected myself to the creamy Frangelico that my brainbox told me I desired. I was sated - but still hungry I followed up with a few scoops of icecream and let me tell you I have never been more pleased with a PM decision in my life. Thank you, Supper Club, for satisfying my craving urge.
