V. S.This is a beautiful Thai restaurant in Melbourne CBD. Fabulous design and lighting indoor make you feel comfortable and relaxing. Food are so delicious and yummy with lots of amazing Thai spices. The only negative point was staff are too rushing to take your order and take plates away. You feel uncomfortable 🥴. We order “sharing is for caring” which is for x2 entrees and x2 main courses. Unfortunately, they brought all of them together and main course was too cold.

M. P.We had an unforgettable experience at Wanderer. Jason and his team were fantastic. You really feel the Thai hospitality right from the moment you walk in. Never seen that before in any other restaurants. We had a special request for a birthday as well and Jason handled everything wonderfully. The food was top quality as well. The Green Curry, Massaman Beef and pineapple dessert were a big hit. Big thank you to Wanderer for the whole experience.

Pad Thai, Mushroom and sring rolls with Vegan option were good. Price is low-med. All in all, not a bad option.

G. R. H.Foods that I ordered tasted excellent. The meat in stir-fried pork belly with chinese brocolli is well marinated and has good crunchiness in it. The chicken green curry with prata bread has a balanced sweetness and spiciness that is well suited to my taste buds.
Furthermore, the ambience is awesome. The lighting is a bit dim, which creates a romantic feeling. Room is fragrant, and decorations are well on point. On top of all that, the service is excellent, too. Waiting time was short, and (the one who seems to be) the owner is super friendly.

The atmosphere is wonderful too, cool and relaxing place to have a meal, and their live singer had an amazing voice. For starter, we had the deep fried prawn wrapped in noodle, a very interesting and delicious dish. For main, we had red duck curry and chicken cashew stirfried. They are both also pretty good. Dessert was amazing, we had the coconut jelly that came in cups. The only downside is that everything is a little pricey. But even then, we think its worth the experience.
T.There's a lot of thai restaurants in Melbourne, so you gotta be good to stay. With a chef that has Red Spice Road and Long Chim in its resume - the Wanderer definitely has a good pedigree.
We were treated to a set menu of select dishes from their menu.
The dishes were good. Nothing particularly stood out, but the quality and flavour was there. The deep fried prawns in potato noodles were the standout - if they could carry this through their mains I think the Wanderer would have a good chance of being one of the better Thai restaurants in the CBD.

M. S.This was our first visit. A few hits and misses. My partner enjoyed the mushroom burger, the brisket in my Dubya burger was a little dry, was alot better with a little extra BBQ sauce. The Mac'n'cheese ball were average, but the deep fried pickles were really good.

T. W.Went in on a quiet night with my husband for dinner. There were only 3 tables then. We ordered a couple of dishes to share which included a prawn pad thai, but was served a chicken pad thai instead. We were ready to let it go since they are a relatively new restaurant and we didn't mind having the chicken pad thai anyway. To our horror, the chicken was raw. It took us about another 10 mins to get the attention of the wait staff. We also ordered a green curry, which was served extremely hot. We suspected it's been in microwave before serving to us. There were also a couple of tap beers unavailable that night, which the staff did not inform us when we were seated. There was a lot of back and forth from the bar and to our table just to check what's available. However, we were given a discount at the end of night. With its beautiful interior, I hope this restaurant can improve over time.

C. H.The atmosphere here makes up for a pricy menu. I would suggest the brisket burger over the plain burger and the fries are lackluster so choose a different side. Be mindful of the time of day as the bring a DJ later in the night on Friday. Overall a good experience though will go again.

They sang Happy Birthday and even had a candle in our lobster tail. Food was delicious and brought out in timely manner, it was our second time visiting and we will return again. If you're not satisfied just pay and don't come back. Using poor review to ruin their business is not fair. They have their cost to pay.

A. S.Brooklyn Depot, I want to love you. I've been a couple of times and have really enjoyed some of the food. Great shakes, wings and burgers. Excellent service. However your BBQ platter left a lot to be desired. The pork ribs had good flavour thanks to the sauce, but were very tough. The brisket was an absolute disaster - thin and flavourless, and only a tiny amount served up (which was a blessing in hindsight). Even the desserts were a mixed bag - the brownie was incredibly dry whilst the apple pie was a masterpiece. In a word - inconsistent.

The Elvis burger is the best burger I've ever had! They let you split the bill, they are always organised and they let you pre-order without issue. J. C.First time trying this Broolyn-inspired place and it was amazing. The Big Poppa cocktail is perfect for anyone that has a sweet tooth. The lobster mac and cheese had this great balance of flavour where it was creamy and tasty but not too oily. Nice unique twist on the chicken waffles. Loved the way the place was decked out. Great staff. Drawbacks were that we waited little longer than we liked for the mains to come. Edit: after going a few times I've noticed that the quality is not that consistent. But still worth a try.
P. S.Best burgers I've had in a long time. Interior decor is so modern yet slightly edgy and stylish with great music being played all the time. Highly recommend taking your friends and family there if you're after great service and amazing menu options.

The only reason I’ve given it three stars and not four is because the Melbourne menu online has not been updated.
This means that several of the entree items (empanadas and tacos) that are shown on the Melbourne online menu are not in that restaurant itself. This was extremely disappointing as they were why we visited this last time.
However, the staff compensated us for this error of theirs and we were satisfied with the outcome.

Ordered the Fuggetabouit burger with the hot sauce but not spicy at all. The hotdog was great and the milk buns are nice and soft. The star was the chicken wings, they were juicy and covered with hot sauce that's tangy and not too spicy!

Didn't have the ingredients for the drink I ordered. BUT - the food, oh my god, the food. It was absolutely divine and the serves large. The mac n cheese was the greatest I'd ever had, even in America. Their French Dip Sandwich was an absolute star.
Despite it being quiet, the staff were lovely and helpful, the place very quirky and fun.

Sounds delicious I know😅! The decor was awesome and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Being that this place seemed almost too 'mainstream' due to their numerous locations, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of burger here🤓. Didn't blow me away but I would definitely come back with a few friends as it was an overall enjoyable experience.

We decided to come back the next night for dinner, and the two of us shared four entree plates, macaroni and cheese balls, chicken tenders, onion rings, and chili bowl with corn chips and guacamole. All items were great, and the deep fried food were not greasy or oily. I'd come back here any time.

A great place to fill up on tasty comfort food in the cold weather.

Can't wait to try a dessert there one day, but every time I go I end up as stuffed as a roast chook after the main. Even my dessert stomach was no match for Brooklyn's food.

Flip the bird was juicy, flavourful, fresh from the slaw and the barbecue sauce was not overpowering. The onion rings were the perfect crispy accompaniment.

Have had the lobster dish before at House of Blues in Anaheim and it was every bit as good here as I remember from overseas. Surprisingly I really enjoyed the chilli cheese fries (I don't like chilli). Friend I shared them with said that these were way, way better than regular chilli or cheese fries. Literally the only thing that could be improved here is the beer tap list is a bit dire. I understand they are very much leaning to the US staples for beer, but it's probably worth dialing that back a bit for a good local craft or two.
