Great value for money and awesome service! I've already been here 2x and each time the experience is good! The 2nd time I came in with my family of 4, we ordered about 6-8 dishes and the wait was so short and the food was still very hot when served.

Von's is great! We've had breakfast here a few times and it's always good. No pretentious, just good, honest food and fantastic service. All the staff make you feel at home and very welcome, even when they're busy. The Canadian Pancakes are my favourite with perfect scrambled eggs and bacon. Their coffee and hot chocolate are also excellent. Von's is on our favorites list.

Great little restaurant. Friendly staff. Helpful with dietary requirements. I had the vegetarian king breakfast and it was delicious. Others at the table corn fritters and lamb shanks and we all enjoyed the food. Clean and easy restrooms which is always handy. Really enjoyed it here. We weren’t at peak time and were served really quickly. Reasonably priced food. Would go back if given the chance. The whole laneway was a greet place to explore.

Vons is a delightful, low key restaurant run by people who really know their stuff. To dine here is not to be caught in a battle between style and substance, as this eatery is all about the food. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the food was great. Smoky Lamb Shanks was wonderful.

Everything about this place was amazing! Super quick service on both our entrees and our mains. I ordered the lamb rack, soft and beautiful. My girlfriend ordered the steak, cooked perfectly and with great seasoning. Well priced and in a trendy, easy access area, definitely a highlight!! Not to mention the free drink, always a positive. Ok place. Tout at the front locked us in with a free wine, beer or spirit from a selection and 20% off food because we were the first ones in. Meals were 6/10. Nice decent servings, but were a lacking a bit of “oomph”. No music inside or out and only 3 other tables were occupied when the rest of the lane was bustling. Good for the price we got it at. I would give it a miss next time though.

Thanks to the guy on the door, I nearly walked passed but he persuaded me in! The service was good and staff are super friendly, I had the burger and my parter had the kangaroo stake, they where both amazing. Stake was perfectly cooked and both dishes where really well presented. Price was good I would definitely recommend!

I'm a big fan of this place. I've only ever tried the $10 lunch special though. These lunches are full size, good quality meals that don't skimp out on any ingredients. The chicken parma is very good, a decent size with some seriously good crumbs. Terrific value. Ambience is pretty good, sitting outside is nice because of the warm gas heaters.

Wonderful service, awesome food and good heating. Had dinner there last night, I ordered the mushroom risotto and my friend got the beef tortollini. We were also offered free drinks and garlic bread for the table. The food came out fast and was delicious with very generous servings. Would definitely recommend!!

Not great unfortunately. Prompt service but chicken parmigiana was not the best. Chicken cooked well but very thin. The sauce was very basic and didn’t look homemade. The ham didn’t taste of much and not enough cheese. But fine for a quick lunch. Only issue was the Pepsi that I had. It was flat and my friend and I couldn’t tell whether it was Pepsi max or not. Wouldn’t race back here.

Very good food but the service had some hiccups. Ordered a seafood platter and wasn't advised they were out of oysters until the platter arrived. When I called to book a table, the person on the other end of the phone had poor phone manner and English speaking skills. Also, during our meal, two dishes were brought to our table that we didn't order. The food was delicious though, but I think everything else may keep me from returning here.

Came for brunch on a Sunday. We were greeted by a friendly hostess. The coffee was delicious and smooth. Breakfast (eggs Benny and corn fritters) was served promptly and was very nice. Nice relaxed ambience. They even threw in the coffee free of charge. Would come back here again.

I stopped by on a whim for breakfast. The omelette and cappuccino we're both great. I enjoyed the food enough to come back Christmas Eve dinner since it's close to my hotel and was in Australia without any family, and dinner was lovely. The staff is very friendly, the food is good, and the location makes for a nice, cozy atmosphere.

Greeting and atmosphere was great. My husband and I both had a glass of Muscato wine, very nice. For entrée I had chicken skewers, I found them dry, needed a sauce. Hubby had calamari, lovely and tender. For Main we both ordered the Pork Belly. Not at all impressed with Pork Belly. Was a little dry, no crackling and not enough mustard sauce. On the up side dessert was yummy! Chocolate cake with ice-cream.

After bypassing this place on multiple occasions I finally relented to the spruiker out the front. "Free drinks" brunch or lunch. After eating the free drinks aren't really free the price is just incorporated in to the food. This place is fine, nothing bad but nothing stands out as exceptional either. Food wise for 20 bucks the big breakfast could do with another 2 rashers of bacon and an extra hash brown.

If you're looking for brunch in Melbourne this is your place! I recommend the Smashed Avocado, which was made to perfection and left me satisfied and feeling healthier for having eaten it. The coffee's good, too; I had the flat white. Service was excellent as well. The waitstaff stopped by often but didn't hover. Sit on the patio if the weather's right.

Average place. Breakfast was good. Service definitely needs some attention. You have tyo keep asking for every little thing after food is served. No one comes to ask you or notices if you need anything on your table. Once the food is left you are forgotten. Then u r on your own looking for salt n pepper.... looking for extra sachets of sugar..... cos just like an asian takeaway store would do.... they only give one sachet of sugar per cup. I don't think i will come back again.

Just I never has the experience of cheese sticking to my fork and affecting my dinning. Maybe it's not the right kind of cheese? Ordered the most plain Italian pasta special for lunch, the taste was okay, but the cheese above didn't seem to be Parmison, so I didn't eat a few mouthfuls and chopped on a fork to affect the meal. Asia (China?) !) The young man smiled and was very enthusiastic, and it was a lot of help for the store! The ecology of the service is also good. There are smiles that will not give the guests a little more pressure. I just want to provide napkins of appropriate size instead of small towels. Even paper ones, not cloth ones, can be much larger.
