Pre-Covid i frequented the all you can eat menu here every 2-3 months. The old $58 + all you can drink bonus is best if you are a serial eater. The udon was great in 2018, but the chef must have changed as the last time I went precovid the broth tasted slightly different (too salty). The garlic butter cuts are also a favourite amongst my friends.

I got the $168 set for 2 people instead of all you can eat. Got some entrees and extra meat. Portion size is a bit small. But quality was amazing. Every piece was so soft and tender and full of flavour. Service was slightly slow and also the store was quite smokey so they definitely need to improve the ventilation system. We read all the reviews and indeed there's only six choices of Wagyu beef to choose from out of 12 for the $88 per person buffet menu, also there's a lack of ventilation which means smoke went everywhere. However, we instead ordered the $138 Yakiniku the Super Lot 1kg Wagyu beef set, it's intended for four people but we only had two so it made us really really full, furthermore it was a lower price than the buffet and there's 7-8 different types of Wagyu beef. Would recommend the set menu instead of the buffet, especially for better value and more variety.

Located in the CBD. Very convenient location. Cozy environment. Tried the all you can eat bbq set at $85 per head. The staff was very attentive and friendly. House rule indicated that diners were limited to order five dishes from the iPad menu at a time. It's fine cos there's no restrictions on the intervals between orders. We came mainly for meat and ordered the waygu beef to taste. Its quality was not top but was good. Most of them were seasoned meat. Apart from the beef steak items and ox tongue, there were pork for bbq, appetizers, salad, sashimi, sushi, rice, noodle, soup and desserts available for selection. Many choices indeed. The daifuku was imported from Japan and was really tasty. Worth the money spent.

$58 all you can korean BBQ. Booth seating and nice interior. The place is quite stuffy as there is no ventilation but the seats are comfortable. Order 5 dishes at a time and the plate is regularly changed and dishes are taken away. The pork belly is impressive. Fatty and juicy. The meats are tender and the small dishes are made to order. Desserts, a variety and the miso caramel is unique with a sweet taste.

All you can eat is worth it. 6 cuts of meat, can be replenished once you have finished eating the starter meat platter. Staff are friendly and service is good. They informed us about extra charges for uneaten food right at the beginning to prevent food wastage, excellent!

All you can eat at a place like this can be quite dangerous to your waistline. I thought I would burst on the way home, but I couldn't resist, I had to keep going, the garlic wagyu was just too good! Founded by Melbourne's sake master Toshi Maeda, the man behind my favourite restaurant Maedaya on Bridge Rd, I had high hopes for Wagyu One and I was more than pleased with the selection. I tried one of each dessert and my favourite were the Strawberry Daifuku and an equal love of all the cakes.

For the price you pay ($88), the quality of meat is quite decent. The service however was a bit slow. You can only order 5 items at a time, that includes 5 pieces of sushi at a time. Items came out pretty slowly, we were waiting with an empty grill at times. The dessert are literally bite size, and our only regret is not ordering more dessert.

Yummy good quality meat (not that I'm a meat expert) but the set which is for 4 people is quite small. We were 2 adults and 2 kids under 5 and the set was just enough for us. It didn't come with rice and we had 5 bowls of rice which came to $17.50. We booked a table for 11.30am and after ordering the set, we were told BBQ usually starts at noon. So we had to wait around (not a big deal but 2 kids wouldn't sit still for much longer). Matcha beer was interesting, didn't expect it to be a little sweet. Very good variety of free dipping sauces. We used to be regular customer here. But with new competitor in town, it makes their overall quality seems subpar. Still a very decent yakaniku place, but the next door shop is just a step better in everything. Please note, despite having buffet option, the meat quality is not as great as a lar carte. So dont expect much from buffet. I would have given them 4 stars but our last customer service experience was bad. We asked for extra spicy miso sauce but they politely refused us by saying they ran out of it. We asked for 1 extra serve of it, not a whole bottle. And it was our first time asking.

We stumbled across Wagyu One and were pleasantly surprised. As producers of wagyu Angus cattle we were keen to try some cuts. We ordered a BBQ plate for two and it was great! Beautiful tender beef! This place was ok, not one of the best wagyu places I've tried, but the meat was still pretty tasty! The staff are really friendly and happy to help you out. They're also very patient. We were visiting Melbourne for the weekend and just came in off the street... I don't really understand some of the negative comments I've since seen because quite frankly I don't think you can get better quality Japanese food at this price short of flying to Japan. We are regular travellers to Japan and we were impressed. Although they specialise is wagyu the also have lots of other choices too. Also a fantastic range of sake and Japanese wines and craft beers. It was really too hard to choose. The only suggestion I have is please let your staff know not assume their customers can't understand Japanese. No harm done and we had a bit of a laugh but others might have been offended. Otherwise it was perfect! 10 out of 10 for service. 👏

My girlfriend and me visited here for hers birthday. We ordered wagyu set 170$ which has a good high quality but small, not enough for us. The set has many different parts of beef, but no-one introduced each of part for us. It is a pity.

I think the amount of rice is about two bowls. Miso soup is also included, and it has a Japanese-style soup stock flavor. The seasoning is different from Japanese beef bowl, and it feels like grilled meat with a sauce of grilled meat. So it feels like eating yakiniku with rice. The seasoning may match Aussie, but I think it's a little darker. It was full of satisfaction!
