Our favorite local restaurant in South Perth. Food is delicious! Real vibe of a family owned place and great service. We ofter do take away here as well (food is ready to pick up in 20-25 min). Highly recommend to all locals.

The grilled seafood platter was amazing last night!! The honey and lemon dressing was so delicious. Not 5 star (and I should have checked before I left) because I ordered my meal as a take away and there were no serviettes or cutlery in the bag - my hotel room didn’t have any either haha. Yum :)

New little cafe in South Perth, good spot near and ample parking. Staff very welcoming and friendly! Our little one was all smiles and played games. Coffee was nice, not burnt and good flavour. Milk a bit thin, no body or that velvety smoothness but will come with practice.☕☕☕ Food was delicious! Eggs cooked perfectly, little runny as cut into them. Salmon wasn't "fishy" and lovely flavour. Spices used in the Florentine also added a wonderful twist which was really yummy. Pancakes where super light and fluffy. Not heavy like some places. Needed more syrup and cream would be my only gripe but everyone is different when it comes to that 👍🏼😁

Ive Recently moved to Perth, As my curious nature intends i have been going out places and trying so much food and coffee around the place.. I have to say hands down Akiras Cafe & Restaurant is one of if not the best place ive been to. Great Food, Great Coffee friendly staff and relaxed environment for the enjoyment. Definitely Recommend!.

This is a bit late but I went with some friends here for a pre Xmas get together and it was awesome! The meals were outstanding and the service was very friendly and informative.and the owners let me put my own decorations on the table. Definitely going back there👍

Always greeted with a smile, the food is excellent the prices reasonable and the wait is never too long. They tend to play light Jazz at a low volume and keep everything spotless. Amazed it's not more popular they really deserve more business.

Fantastic service, relatively simple food done very well and obviously with great care and passion. My partner and I had the garlic ciabatta, scotch fillet and paella - all were cooked perfectly and very, very tasty. We feel like we have found a gem, which is just as well as she just moved into Como. We will absolutely be back.

Absolutely wonderful place to go. The chef and owner has a real deep passion for his food and cooks to perfection. No need to season with extra salt and pepper which is rare to come by and the crab linguine was superb. If you want to go out for a nice intimate dinner with family, close friends or a partner look no further.

The food here is absolutely delicious. Paella cooked to perfection. A gem of a place with wonderful people and service. This place is on our “regular” list.

Very expensive food. A coffee and slice of cake cost me $14. Meals start at $28 and lunch specials $16. From what I heard from the others on my table the food was hit and miss. Staff are super lovely and friendly and there's plenty of parking. Toilets in the back. But I just can't get over how much my coffee and cake was. At this price range I'd rather eat elsewhere. I will not be coming back

Lovely little family run cafe with restaurant quality food. Chef is happy to come out and chat regarding any food intolerance and amend his menu. Menu is varied and the weekly specials are numerous. Had a lovely meal.

We visited as a group of four for dinner. A warm welcome was received and we chose Indian inspired meals and a Spanish paella. Meals all came promptly together and were good portions, attractively-presented. The food was delicious. Afterwards latte, hot chocolate and chai latte were all tasty and well-made. The owners were friendly and we all agreed we would go again. Highly recommended.

My wife and I love Akira's so much we come every fortnight for date night without the kids. When we do brings the kids they're very well looked after too. I love the chilli prawns and lamb skewers the most. Heaps of parking, easy to find but tucked away. Stylish and affordable, and family run. Well done Chef Gopi and Srivanthi. Can't recommend enough.
