We had our first Korean BBQ experience here. The staff were extremely nice and supportive. The food was really delicious and we loved the vibe. Parking could be found in a secure underground carpark closer to the restaurant.

Very friendly staff, good food. Only 3 staff were on the floor running a busy dining time. There is a ground floor and a top floor too to accommodate any number of customers. Clean and safe. A very special mention to all the staff who were very patient and respectful to the customers, making it a great experience.

This was a restaurant visit by chance. We randomly chose it after seeing the lights in the city. My kids LOVED the seafood dumplings. My 8 year old said they were so good he felt like his tongue was going to faint. My kids were sharing rice and dishes with the adults and laughing. The food was amazing. We had soju for the first time and it was amazing. The atmosphere was amazing.. just all around Amazing! The server was lovely and kind. We can't wait to go back again 💞

The lunch menu is very limited, and it's $3 extra for your basic Korean side dishes. Bulgolgi was very sweet. Portion sizes were good for the $10 lunch special, they do give you a lot of rice. Overall I wouldn't be back for lunch, there are better Korean restaurants on the same street. Dinner seems like a very different experience based on other reviews.

Solid Korean bbq restaurant in a great location in central Perth. Popcorn chicken entree was excellent. We went for a 600g 3 meat combo with sauces, soup and salads. Was pretty good. We choose to have the staff cook our meal but you can do it yourself at the table.

I was very disappointed in the flavours, or the lack of. Infact the whole representation was off. The idea of Korean BBQ excites the palate for freshness, textures, flavours, variety, boldness. There are so many things in our experience at Arirang, that were lacking or just non-existant. Just because your lettuce is crisp, does not mean your food is fresh. I do appreciate the attentiveness of the staff, however it does not make up for poor quality and shop bought flavours.

Absolutely amazing food! Got the premium platter for 2 and it could have easily fed 2 adults and 2 young kids. The value of what we got was pretty damn good. Staff were also really helpful educating us on what we meant to do. Sort of a new experience for us. 10/10

After trying to get a table next door only to be turned away we decided to give Arirang a try. There is a good selection on the menu but the prices do seem a bit high on the items. I had the Dolsot Bibimbap which is just a deconstructed rice dish that you mix your self. It was ok. Not very spicy and the egg was cooked to much to drizzle over the rice when the yolk was broken. We also had the squid, Korean Street Food Platter and the Spicy popcorn Chicken. It was all ok but again a bit bland. All of the above and a couple of soft drinks came to just short of $100. The staff were friendly and attentive.

I always went more often to Korean restaurant for winter season, I noticed Arirang more expensive $5 more. But my food was came out with huge portion sizling bowl complete with rice and pickle. That is make me happy and the taste it was fantastic!! Very recommended

I had bibimbap and YUKGAEJANG. Bibimbap wasn't really nice. We felt that it has not enough flavor such as sesame oil, no seasoning. Soup was better then bibimbap. Not really authentic place to eat korean food.

This was my first time having Korean and it most certainly was an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly kind and proficient at serving us and cleaning tables. It was honestly faster than most fast food places, and cheaper too (although we didn't have very big meals). I even managed to eat my meal with chopsticks, which was a very new experience for me! I would 100% recommend Arirang if you want to try a Korean BBQ or you're just looking for something a little different and want to expand your cultural food boundaries!

When I came to this restaurant, I wanted to have some BBQ with my brother but found out the hard way that BBQ is available at night, which was unfortunate. However, that is not to say everything else was delicious. I really recomment the Hotstone Bibimbap, the best thing wasn't that the bulgogi wasn't just tender, but the fact that you can decide how spicy you want your Bibimbap by adding as much Gochujang sauce you want which is just amazing. The seafood pancake is also one of the best I have ever tasted, the batter is just soft and fluffy while the mix of squid and mussels just adds a more solid texture. And The Honey Popcorn Chicken is just the perfect amount of sweetness and crunchy texture. The only minor gripes is that the Bibimbap, I was expecting to hear sizzles only to not hear any, which made me slightly disappointed, but that was quickly overturned by how delicious the Bibimbap is. And the chicken could be more crunchy, but overall, this restaurant is a must try.

Arirang was a perfect choice for our small group (5 people) dinner. Everything was delicious and designed to share with friends. We went with a couple of BBQ plates, street food and hotpot. We couldn’t fault the food and there was certainly no shortage. It came out reasonably promptly. Would definitely go back next time I’m in town.

We always come here every now and then, and had good time. However I noticed the staff keeps having chitchats while working, talking loudly rather than being attentive to a customer who is waiting to serve.

Polite and pleasant staff. Very inviting atmosphere. Food was fresh and portion sizes are large. You can find non spicy items on the menu if you are not into spicy food, just check with the staff. Even the spicy courses were on the milder side and I'm sure they can crank it up on request. I definitely would recommend a visit and will be back. If you are going to cook the bbq yourself, mind that it can get a bit smoky and make your clothes smell a bit.

The food was good and the options were great, but I wasn't given very much information from the staff. The food was very expensive, which was misleading after going to the smaller version at my local food court, since their food was quite cheap. Upon ordering my food the waiter asked me if I would like to cook it myself. This being my first time, I was excited, but also very confused. It was a little unexpected that I we had to ask him to clarify instead of him just explaining it to us in the first place. When we got our food we were surprised to see that we hadn't ordered meals, we ordered a plate of BBQ beef each, which were almost identical. Although it was a little confusing the first time, me and my boyfriend said we would definitely come back. It looks like they have great options, and I'd really like to try cooking it myself. They have hot plates on the tables for that. They also have a second floor with seating, a bar, great lighting and great atmosphere. Perfect for dates! They also have a bathroom, which is hard to find in the city.

The food was great, when we asked for hot we got hot but not your add chilli spice it was a whole flavoursome hot that comes from knowing what spices mix well. We went there on Friday night, the food was suprisingly tasty, good value for money too. Three days later, we visited again on a public holiday.It was really busy that we waited for a long time for our orders. A waitress came to apologize and brought us complimentary side dishes. When our food finally came, the seafood pancake was over cooked. Under request, they replaced it immediately. So we are happy. The only problem is when the restaurant is busy, the ventalation is not sufficient to cope with the bbq and hot plate. Ends up dinning in the smoke... However, nice staff and great food. Will visit again soon.

I want to give a one star but i really love arirang carousel. The young lady who is the manager doesnt know how to handle complaints and issues. I love the food except for the zucchini. They already know why. I hope they start hiring competent managers. No matter who was wrong the manager shouldve owned the concern. I love the food i dont like the management.

This place was really good for our table of 15 people - the food was served quickly and no orders were mixed up. We couldn't all pay individually, however, which was a disappointment. It was a nice place for our group to hang out. Food was okay for its cheap price.

The place is spacious but it may get crowded during dinner time. You may need to wait for table. They have 2 options for meat menu: for us to cook ourselves or the chef will cook for us. Price is around 15 for set menu and above 25 per portion for meat bbq menu.

We ordered the beef bulgogi hotpot for two. Really really generous portion and you’ll get unlimited refill for your side dishes - bean sprouts, sweet potatoes, kimchi, pickled cucumber. The soup was really tasty and in fact the rice tasted better when you top it up with the beefy soup. There’re so much happening in the hotpot as it is made up of beef broth, vegetables, tofu, and sweet potato glass noodles. You could taste the savoury and sweetness of the soup, it’s exactly the taste that I’m after. Will visit again for the BBQ meals.

I went this late afternoon. The food is nice and portion is quite big, reasonable for its price. But the service needs improvement. Staff were so slow and unfriendly. I dont know if their tired or what. I ordered for peach tea but they didnt serve it to me so i ordered coke instead. Arirang Korean Barbeque Restaurant is one of Perth's Best Korean Barbeque Spots serving authentic Korean Cuisine. The restaurant is along Barrack Street and just a short walk from the CAT bus. We had Beef Bulgogi Meal and Beef Bulgogi hotpot for lunch, and we enjoyed the food. The beef Bulgogi hotpot is a real winner! You should try it. The food was hearty and flavourful. It was served in a shallow pot which has a high heat conductivity minimizing the loss of the nutrients of the ingredients. The Bulgogi soup is sweet and savory. The servings were big which is reasonable for its price. The Kimchi is to die for. The restaurant opened 10 minutes late though. While the atmosphere was cozy, the place was not very clean in my opinion. The restaurant is open from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm Mondays through Thursdays. On Fridays, it closes at 10:00 pm. Saturdays and Sundays it's open from 11:30 am to 9:30 pm.
