This restaurant is the real deal! We ordered both meat and vegetarian dishes with a variety of sides and I can honestly say it is one of the best Indian meals I have ever had. The naan breads are a must!! Thanks for the best experience!! We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant and will be spreading the word!!

Dined at Balti tonight with some friends. Amazing authentic Indian food. The Samosa Chaat was delicious and the Balti special Paneer curry was to die for… unanimously it was the highlight of the meal. The service was good even though the restaurant was packed on a Tuesday night. We will be surely coming back. Visited Balti again tonight with family for another absolutely fantastic meal.

Food was very nice but the service very slow, waited 20mins (from order) for starters and then another 30mins for mains. We had 6.30 booking and the restraunt was about 1/4 full, while we were there it filled to 1/2 - 2/3 full so busy but not overly. The main male waiter serving us was very attentive and twice apologised for the delay. The other server must have been very new as he could not answer if the bill would be brought to the table or should we pay at the counter.

Just moved from Bunbury to Perth couple of months ago and was recommended to try Balti in the city for a good authentic Indian meal. Went there with my girlfriend who loves spicy food and they cooked the Chicken Chettinad Extra hot for her and she reckoned it was the best hot dish she ever tried. Also the Goat curry was amazing and full of flavour as I don’t eat very spicy. The ambiance was good and the service was prompt and not intrusive as the restaurant was nearly full. Definitely will come back yo try more dishes.

A great place for great Indian food. My partner has a nut allergy and I found the manager Ash was more than accomodating to her requirements. I will no doubt visit again next time I’m in Perth. The chicken Chettinad is delicious 👌

This is the best Indian Restaurant in Perth. When you ask them to make the food spicy, they don't end up adding just chilli powder, but they infact add all the spices in the right proportion to increase the overall taste of the dish. The breads (Naan) are so soft that they don't turn out like leather once they turn cold. A must visit Indian Restaurant. Edit:- I went here again on 14/04/2021, the food tastes awesome and the owner himself interacted with us, gave us extra attention. This is hands down the best Indian Restaurant in not just perth but one of the best in Australia.

Charming decor, fantastic friendly staff and the food is AMAZING. I had the chettinad and my partner had spinach chicken both were authentic and generous. The baked cheese and fried whitebait I can also recommend highly. This is the most authentic flavour I have found outside of India!! Cannot say enough good things about any of it. Wonderful experience...we will be back!

This is one of the oldest and best Indian Restaurant in complete Western Australia . The food is tasty and the base spice of different dishes isn't the same, which means that if you order Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala, both of them will look and taste different. The employees in Balti pay attention to what kind of food modifications the customer is requesting. If you just want to have lunch, then opt for the combo option. The Owner Ashley is a wonderful person who personally attends to every customer when he is present in the restaurant and the ingredients in the food is always fresh. If you are away from India or just want to taste Indian/Mughlai food in Perth, then Balti should be your go to place.

Indian restaurant which delivers an outstanding customer experience. The staff and service here are fantastic. They are always positive and friendly. Know the right moment to come to your table. And when you want recommendations for dishes, they have just the right questions to ensure you get the food experience you wish to enjoy. The curry dishes and assorted sides, plus desserts too, are all exceptional too. They are richly flavoured, well spiced and will have you cleaning the bottom of the dishes with naan bread to get every last delicious morsel that you can! Amazing Indian restaurant with truly delicious curries, sides, desserts and fantastic service. Well worth coming!

A good place for Indian food. Food tasted close to being authentic. Staff was fantastic. Ambience is great. Gave us complementary starter and dessert on the occasion of Diwali I guess. Prices are inline with other fine dining restaurants. Portion is decent.I suggest they upgrade their play list though. Will definitely come back and recommend it.

Expensive with very few authentic Indian options..!! Especially vegetarian. All typical things on menu. I was expecting some kind of innovation after so many years. Probably they know that there is not much competition in the area so they are happy to proceed with mediocre menu and service. I hope they take this review seriously and work towards the improvement.

We had a wondered catered staff lunch at Balti Indian for 44 staff. We found Ashlee very accommodating to the various dietary requirements, easy to work with, and was a really lovely event. We had great reviews from the staff with the food being tasty and fresh. Catering for a large group can be difficult, but there was something here that everyone enjoyed. I would highly recommend.

Some good Indian food enjoyed with a few friends. We ordered the goat, lamb vindaloo, fish curry, lamb Rohan josh, 4 types of Naan bread and some servings of rice. We all had our favorites from the fish curry to the goat, which was the best for me. Only complaint I had was the serving of rice we ordered four with the initial ordered, which wasn’t enough, on ordering two more servers we actually got a larger serving the than the original which we couldn’t understand. Decor is nice, in line with other Indian restaurants, though service by staff could improve. Prices are reasonable and again inline with other India restaurants. We also appreciated that the accepted our two entrainment cards but did not redeem them and said the come back and use again. Will definitely be back again...

Tasty Indian Cuisine that will not break your bank. Pleasant decor. Friendly courteous service. Background music was a bit loud, but pleasing. Not the usual noisy Bhangra and Qawali. Onion Bhajis were wholesum and quite filling. Chicken in Cashew and saffron sauce (or something like that) was the highlight. Absolutely yum. Goat Hydrabadi Biryani tasted absolutely authentic. Naans were fresh and nice and spongy, with a crisp outer coating. Rose and Pista Kulfi were just too good. My wife and I had a nice evening at Balti Indian Restaurant. Owner Asha, Manager Jatin and their staff looked after us very well.

Most delightful experience with amazing food and great service definitely will be coming back. The Lamb Seekh kebabs were so juicy and fresh from the tandoor, also the Goat curry is one of the best I have had in Perth. To finish it off we tried the 2 kulfi ice creams i.e.Pistachio and the Fig, honey & Almond both yummm. Just simply Superb!! Edit: We went there again last night on 3/6/21 for a pre concert dinner and the place was absolutely packed and it was amazing to get served so efficiently with 100 other people who all left with us in an hour or so for the show at the Perth Concert hall. The food tasted as good if not better than last time and all 3 of us agreed that the Chicken Tikka Masala was one of the best we have had in Australia, also the Biryani was perfectly cooked. Certainly the Best Indian around Perth CBD and surrounds.

Wonderful food. 25-30% dearer than other Indian restaurants in the area. Be prepared for a $28-30 curry, when others in the area are $18-22. Worth it? Just maybe, but it's the most I've ever paid for Indian.

My wife and I went here last Sunday lunch time and were more than impressed with the high standard of the food, probably amongst the best we have tasted in WA. All of the food was good but the Goat curry was out of this world. We really enjoyed the experience and will certainly be going here again now we have found it. A big shout to the staff who were particularly good despite having to deal with problems with their new fridge. Highly recommended.

Good service and delicious food! It was right near our hotel which was convenient and within walking distance. I am not a fan of spicy or Indian food but this restaurant had cuisine that did not set my mouth on fire. Nice atmosphere and great curry with naan and roti.

The Lamb Rogan Josh served at this place is hands down the best in Perth. The Lamb is so tender, it falls apart in your hands almost. And the sauce is so perfect, it's really savoury and not too sweet as other stores tend to be. Would highly recommend.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Perth CBD. Started off with the starter tasting plate, nice offering but the paneer was a bit old and chewy. The main course certainly made upfor it,the tastes are amazing, the palak paneer was outstanding, the dhal makhani, superb, and the eggplant crush was very tasty. I had to have a taste of the biryani ...which was also pretty good. The breads were fresh, butter naan and a roti, tasty both :-) The only slight disappointment is the service.

Food was good. Started with some lamb chops. They were very nice. We had 2 different curries. I really enjoyed the lamb vindaloo. The naan were fantastic! Had a bit of slow service with the drinks coming out. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience and I'd definitely go back. I'm still dreaming of that naan.

I have always felt at home when I dined to balti. The courteous staff and the ambience add flavour to the food served here. The Best Butter Chicken Ever!!! We have tried the Butter Chicken at literally every Indian restaurant we have been to, but the one we had today at Balti last night was one of the most creamiest and tastiest of them all. We arrived late for dinner after a long drive from down South and were still happily seated served a 2 course dinner. The Lamb Skewers and Chilli Squid were also amazing to start off with. Cant wait to go back again to try a few more things. Very good quality authentic Indian and great ambience.

Absolutely amazing fantastic experience and food. The taste never goes down - especially during Covid times - the staff are super helpful. It’s always buzzing with the people. Balti is unparalleled in quality, especially the Goat curry - full of flavour. Just love this place. No matter how many visits one makes. My wife & I were staying in the Duxton hotel across the road from this restaurant while I was recovering from a total knee reconstruction. We called them for a small order. The staff we spoke to explained the items we ordered so we knew what was going to come. Then offered to put in extra items no charge plus extra plates etc so we could share the food between us. The order was then delivered to my wife in the lobby of the hotel. It was absolutely the best Indian food we had eaten in a long while & very reasonably priced. Plus their service beyond 5 star. Have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to anyone who enjoys this type of food. Will definitely be back.

Balti Indian is the BEST restaurant in Perth and in our opinion Australia. If you want authentic food made with true care and passion this is the place to go. The service is outstanding, from the moment you enter the beautiful restaurant. You are greeted with a smile by the friendly, courteous staff who are so attentive and helpful. The menu is well thought out with appealing dishes. The food is scrumptious, absolutely delicious! The drinks menu is extensive and drinks are amazing (mango lassi is yummy, this is the only restaurant we have ever been to where our fussy 10 year old really enjoys them and orders at least 2 each time) This restaurant is perfect for date night as a couple, dining out with the family and special occasions. Also we find it is the best value for money, very reasonably priced and in a great location. The management and team there are exceptional people and we absolutely love each time we visit. Myself and my family always pick Balti restaurant because it is simply perfection! We cannot wait to go back soon again and we thank all the staff for their hard work and dedication to their food,drinks, service and customers!
