great for a yummy and quick feed. you can order at your table. not there hugest range of vegetarian options but you will find something. the shallot noodles and steamed buns are good. staff are great too.

Kinda overhyped if I’m honest. Was thoroughly disappointed with the price u paid vs what you got. Although the chicken and rice was super tasty, the duck and noodle dish was practically just bone with minimal duck. Disappointed in the dumplings. I’d pass for alternatives in the vicinity.

Great selection, good atmosphere. If you are in the city and you haven't been here, then I highly recommend you give them a try. Filtered water, not tap water available at your pleasure, but why would you when they cheap and available beverages to suit your desire. We had several dishes and a delightful green tea for myself and it was all as expected, with the right accompanied sauces and all you need for a reliable dining experience.

A really clean open aired Chinese restaurant. Interesting and quick way of ordering, banks of Ipads where you make your decision. Once you've completed your order you pay at the counter. Definitely a really good free flowing concept. My dish was roast duck and rice.

Fast and efficient, great location, nice vibe and reasonably priced (with licenced options if you're so inclined). Try the dim sum (super fresh) or dishes like the prawn wonton noodle soup or the jian jiao noodle. Good size serves, maybe a touch under seasoned but better that than over seasoned. Great for groups of people, with plenty of seating options.

Yum! I had the veg steamed dumplings, veg Char Siew Bao and shallot rice. It's was delicious and slot of food. They are a separate veg menu and are gf. It is well priced and fast service.

Always my favourite place for dumplings and wontons. Located just over the perth station makes it the most convenient place even if u r travelling by public transport. They hAve a very unique sauce made up of chilli flakes and oil. U wont find the same anywhere else I can bet on that. Also dont forget to try their fried prawns. Best thing to Have over a glsss of drink. They also have selections of different flavoured teas to chose from. Please vote yes if you think this review is useful.

YUM! I had the bao buns and prawn soup. The ordering system (on iPads) takes a little getting used to, but great selection of food and drink, both alcoholic and non. Located in a great central location if you're spending the day in Perth CBD.

The only disappointment was steamed buns with "beef mince steak", which was very far from steak and the pickle veg, water chestnuts and cantonese bbq sauce were nowhere to be seen! The rest of them were very good! Be careful while eating char siew bao - we only realised half way through that they come with bits of paper stuck to them :)

The pho and dumplings here were amazing! The broth flavor was delicious and the meat was tender. We just arrived in Austrailia after traveling in Vietnam the week before, and this pho was better than all of the pho we had in Vietnam (which for some reason usually has thinner lest tasteful chicken broth in their pho dishes). The broth here is flavorful and actually tasted like a beef broth.

Amazing food and service. The meat are melt in your mouth, the buns don't have a soggy base (which can be quite common) and you have service incredibly fast! This place even has a self serve sauce station which has everything you need with classic and modern Asian cuisine. I didn't get to check out many veggie/vegan options, but for others I guarantee a great meal! Price-wise, it is on the lower end of mid range, where we ordered 10 dishes (including a plate of BBQ pork) and 3 drinks. I am definitely coming here again, and you should give it a shot too with friends and/or family. Great atmosphere for social life

Not my kind of food so I find reviewing such food places difficult. Went here with work colleagues and as someone who is not used to this kind of food, I do find them a bit rushed and difficult to decide what I want because everything is do unfamiliar. For most people though, that is probably a plus, because it also means service is extremely fast! In the end of got some kind of beef broth soup and it was tasty enough, but not the sort of food I like to eat a lot so I can't comment how it compares to other places. No major issues with this place and from what I have heard from friends it compares very well to similar restaurants.

Purely by chance and looking for lunch in the city we were lucky enough to find this place down the side of Forever New boutique . It's an Asian restaurant serving food in bamboo steamers along with other dishes. We ordered at one of the many iPads placed inside the restaurant then you go and pay at the counter. We did have a bit of a problem ordering which was our fault but a member of staff immediately came to help. The food was delicious and plentiful and lovely and hot. It's very basic inside and out but if you are looking for lunch or a quick meal it would be difficult to pass this place. We do have a favourite Chinese restaurant in Perth if we are eating late in the evening but we will definitely return to BamBamBoo as soon as possible

Love tge food at Bambamboo. Great taste, good serving size, good value for money. A regular stop for us, quick access to train lines after a days shopping and walkibg around the city. Once you get the hang of the easy to use iPad ordering and payment system you'll be wondering why all restaurants don't use this clever intuitive way of ordering. No hassle, beautiful food, nice decor. Highly recommend. Good for groups if you want to try various foods, good variety and brilliant sauces all washed down with fresh jasmine tea.

Quick, cheap and delicious. This is an absolute go to for me in the city when I'm out with friends, delicious and authentic asian food which I just love. Ordering on the iPads can be a bit confusing at first but once you get the hang of it its really simple! The food os usually really quick and the feature of getting a text when its ready, although it seems unecessary when you are already dining in, is great when you need to get cash or do something else and get notified when its ready.

Firstly, the food was good. Unfortunately the service was really ordinary, every surface was sticky, and there wasn't enough clean up staff so there was food scraps 60% of the tables. Amazing!!!!! My fiance and I wanted to try something new so we drove all the way to the city and has a lovely walk to the restaurant. I was very surprised to order my food via iPad. Loved that! The proportions are so large for how little you pay! I was stuffed half way through. The BBQ pork bun WHERE TO DIE FOR!!!! We got 2 left over containers so get to enjoy it for lunch tomorrow! We visited for lunch after reading good reviews. I liked ordering on the iPad. Once you order you pay at the counter and take your drinks then you get a sms when your order is ready. The food was quick to come out and was well presented. We ordered a chicken with rice and a pork with rice. Both were really nice. Prices were really good. It was around $32 for the two meals and a juice. We would definitely return.

One of my favourite places to eat with a group of friends in the city. Great place to take newcomers who want to experience Perth city life. Located in the recently renovated walkway adjacent to more good restraunts there is a lot of art fixtures and interesting artwork to look at around. You order on an iPad and you get a text when your order is ready to pick up at the counter. Some of our food was brought out too. Highly recommend the pork boa buns they were the crowd favourite. 4 of us shared different dishes and were well fed for just about $15 each!

First time I had heard of this place and found it just by googling nearby places to eat. The ordering is made through tablet and is quick and efficient. You are given a number and sent a text message when your food is ready. I ordered vegetarian spring rolls, honey BBQ chicken and shallot rice and it was all extremely tasty, although needed some extra soy sauce.

I have eaten lunch here twice in the last week as I liked it so much. The food was ready in less time than it took me to order it on the ipad system. On both occasions I ordered the chilli pepper tofu and the stir fried noodles in soy sauce, with a chrysanthemum tea. Yesterday I added greens in sweet soy sauce as I was feeling greedy. Everything was so delicious and tasted very fresh. There is a good range of condiments to add to your choice as well. The menu has a great range of options but I keep getting the same things as they are so tasty. Must try something different next time ...

BamBamBoo is a go to for a quick, flavourful, meal. Dined on an ultra busy festival night but wait time was impressively minimal. My BBQ chicken noodle dish was full of flavour and you couldn't expect more for the modest price. Help yourself to the range of sauces etc when you collect your meal. Mine washed down with a Little Creatures Rogers.

My partner has brought me here today for a mothers day lunch with our 6 month old baby. The food was great but the it negative part of our experience is that there were no change facilities for my baby. It had ruined our lunch as we hadn't even started and my partner had to go and find a public toilet with change facilities. A suggestion is that you need to purchase a change table from Ikea and put it in the ladies and men's toilets. This would make a lot of parents happy. This has really inconvenienced us and not sure we will be back here.

Fantastic, cheap dim sum, merged with high technology and a perfect location in the center of the city. The quality of the food is always great, and the quantity is actually above what I can usually (comfortably) eat. You would think that this means I order less next time, but the menu is full of so many delicious things I can't bring myself to stop! Love this place, cheep and cheerful. I come here fairly often with friends and the meals are always of a high quality. Being able to order through the ipads means we can take our time to have a good look through without holding anyone up and is a little novelty. There are lots of different varieties of dumplings that are made fresh on site. From Shang Hi dumplings to pork buns and sweet chicken dumplings. I will continue to come here unless there are drastic changes.

One of my favourite hang outs in the city, fast food, affordable, funky decor and the iPads are really fun to order from... Delicious bao buns, pickled fungus, noodle soups, barbecue meats. Sometimes the food is a bit of a miss, last night I ordered the soup broth, it arrived at room temperature, I told the staff and they gave me another but it was also cold.. It should be steaming hot as it was from a pot. Please put half boiled eggs and congee (Chinese rice porridge) on the menu, and return the taro balls for dessert!
