Heard good things about this place but we found it quite mediocre. The noodle soups we had were average, and the staffs totally forgot about our bean sprouts and mints. Because it’s my first time here I almost thought they serve pho without them.. The sour soup was just too sweet and not appetizing at all. The beef skewer was just ok.

Good fast service Inviting frontage and atmosphere Very popular and we were lucky to get a seat without a booking (so would recommend pre-booking) Menu layout is good as it has pics which is very helpful when there's lots to choose from. Between two we had stuffed chicken wings which were good and shared beef Pad Thai and Ha Noi style grilled fish. Fish is served on a sizzling plate on a bed of grilled leek and comes with a side of fresh vermicelli noodles, mint, fresh crisp lettuce cups and dressing. Super delicious, fresh, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Authentic and thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommend and very reasonable prices. (Bar looked pretty well stocked too).

Massive portion sizes, service was good but not very friendly and the food/drinks were pretty satisfying. Pad Thai (in a Vietnamese restaurant so fair enough) wasn't the best. Needs to be salty, sweet and sour. Overall had a good time.

A definite favourite of ours. Great quality, well priced Vietnamese food. Staff are friendly and helpful, food comes out quickly and is always very delicious! After years of strolling and trying out all Vietnamese restaurants in Perth, its confident to say this is the best Viet restaurant in Perth. High consistency in great service, freshness of dishes, and authentic flavour. Every dish brings the right taste of its origin whether North or South Vietnam cuisine. Chefs/owners must have tremendous knowledge of Viet cuisine plus their high expectation in quality. Keep it up your great work 👏 👏

From the welcoming entrance to the modern interior design of the restaurant, it was impressive. Pho was good (although I had better ones at a lower cost). The chicken curry was also good. The fried prawns with salted duck egg was excellent. However the service needs improvements for sure. The portion of the servings were good but price wise, it would be considered on the higher side. 7 prawns for $32. To each it’s own, I consider that quite costly. Due its location, I would expect their pricing to be on the higher side. Lastly, just a heads up, there is 1% surcharge on card payments.

Chopsticks is bright and welcoming. Good range of dishes on the menu. I've been keen to have my Hanoi favourite, Bun Dau (vermicelli noodles, tofu, leaves and sauce) for years. It was a good try. Next time I'll have to remember to ask for the vegan version.

I have been here twice. I was happy with the first time. I ordered the noodles soup and my friend ordered the squid salad. They were delicious. That's why I was excited to take my mother in law here for lunch the second time. And they really disappointed me by missing my order. We had been waiting for more than 30 minutes and didn't get our food while people that came after us got food first. And the staff didn't even come and check if we got food yet. I asked a staff member and he said they missed my order. My mother had to set more time for car parking, it's really annoying. Even though they gave me 10% off because of the mistake, I'm kind of disappointed about the service here. Hopefully they will improve their service.

Went in for a quick Saturday lunch Sitting area is very wide & has many tables that would be ideal for families. We tried their betel leaf beef skewers, Pho tai and grilled pork chop dish. Betel leaf skewers were tasty & cooked well but a bit pricey for the portion size Pho was good but not outstanding compared to other Vietnamese restaurants My favourite was the grilled pork chop & if I come back, I’d probably order this one again.

Had an excellent dinner. Staff will only come over when you wave them over, which is great for me, avoids all that "how is your meal" nonesense. Portions are generous (1 per person is enough), prices are very competitive and the food is fantastic. Will visit again.

If you love seafoods, I strongly recommend you order the clam and snail dishes below. It’s authentic Vietnamese taste and it would even be better if you take away, leave it in fridge overnight and then steam/microwave on the next day (because all the seasoning will absorb into the meat inside better). I ordered 114. razor clam with coconut (a bit too much coconut but still nice) and 117. Butter snails ( this is the best) and fried Whole fish ( sour and sweet seasoning) . They all taste better after a day old.

Amazing food at Chopsticks Viet. They have a good range of unique selection and not high end price! Traditional Pho is great but the Gem is Shaking Beef. Beautifully charred steak and it is nicely compliment with fried rice and soup. Must try.

We eat out every week, so we know a great restaurant. Chopsticks is truely great. Vietnamese cuisine through and through and no scrimping on the quality. The menu goes on forever, but our selection was deep-fried squid and beef rice paper rolls for entree. The rolls were gorgeous and huge. I enjoyed the dipping sauce. The squid was better than average with a crisp batter. Our main s were the honey ginger fish and a huge shaking beef. I loved the fish but the shaking beef was out of this world. We finished with a Vietnamese coffee and the fried icecream. I recommend both. The decore has a warm, homely feel about it, the staff are really friendly and attentive and the waiting time minimal. A special shoutout to our waiter Danny. Thanks for a great experience, and we'll see you again really soon.

So pleased we've found another authentic vietnemese restaurant. The flavours are fresh, vibrant and everything is very tasty. The staff are very friendly are welcoming. Everything we've tried so far from stir-fried beef ginger noodle soup, pork knuckle & prawn drop noodle soup, spicy duck tongue salad, grilled squid salad, chopsticks combo rice (with pork chop/broken rice) traditional pancake, beef stew (Bho Kho) to name a few have all been exceptional and well priced as is the size of the meals. The restaurant has modern decor and seating for quiet a large number as well as area that be closed off for a function. If not wanting to be disappointed if going with large number of people I suggest you make a booking as it get busy. Will be going back again & again and introducing friends to this terrific spot for a meal.

Vietnamese and Australian couple, we tried the Bun Dau Mam Tom and Beef curry, the Bun Dau Man was not as good as the restaurant in HCMC near the airport but still good. The sauce of the curry was fantastic but the beef was a bit fatty, good for flavor but not for eating. It is a big restaurant lots of room, popular and nice decor.

Amazing Food and Atmosphere!!! I have never been disappointed with the food from Chopsticks. I visited with a large group, with the age of the individuals ranging from 15 to 50. We were all delighted by authentic Vietnamese food. The atmosphere of the restaurant is vibrant and lively. The menu is vast and there is a large variety of tasty dishes to choose from. The Shaking Beef is amazing and i definitely recommend ordering it! The staff were very helpful and maintained a brilliant standard of service.

I had lunch here today with my preteen kids, 9 & 12. My daughter chose the restaurant because she loves Vietnamese cuisine and Chopsticks did not disappoint! The service was friendly, quick and efficient. We shared the crispy spring roll noodle salad and the shaking beef. The salad was fresh and authentic and the beef was out of this world! Highly recommended and I will definitely return.

Authentic and interesting Vietnamese dishes from the south and the north or Vietnam which is refreshing to see. Food is always on point for me, and I've visited several times. Service is hit and miss, the staff are always polite but not always attentive. The atmosphere feels mid-range and could do with a bit of an update, but overall the food saves the day. Definitely worth trying the bun cha and the Vietnamese beef salad, bun rieu, and sour prawn soup. Prices are reasonable and serving sizes are large. They also serve an interesting variety of the sort of Vietnamese drinks you'd find in street stalls and cafes that are quite clever and tasty. Definitely worth a look if you want something traditional in food but modern Australian (mid-range) in ambiance.

The foods were tasty and came in large portions. The drinks (iced coffee and mango smoothie) were a bit too small for the price though. We also had to wait for ~30 mins for the foods, on a Monday night. The most disappointing experience was the customer service. Asked 2 staffs for dinner plates. The first staff was so aggressive and the second didn't bring the plates that she said she would.

Great food, great venue. But not too happy with service. When I paid I was told by a staff member that there is a 1% surcharge when paying by card. Afterward it seemed a bit off as I had paid from my savings. Why I queried it, I was told that it's 1% if you pay by credit card or if you use paypass. However, if you insert the card and use your pin you are not charged the 1%. When I asked the staff member why she didn't mention this she was unapologetic and just dismissed my question. Had to eventually have a word with the manager via phone, who was more receptive to my concerns.

We celebrated a major birthday with 27 people, we had the banquet. The food was amazing, all piping hot and so fresh, plus great salads. Delicious veg options. The service was amazing and everyone in our group said they'd be going again. They were happy for us to bring and serve birthday cake, plus provided containers for us to take leftovers home. A large vibrant place where you can eat in or out, good efficient staff, last friday night we were there it was full to the brim with people waiting so best to book around 6. Good size tables and space around, nice decor and it is BYO and excellent wineglasses not cheapy ones. Once we placed our order the food arrived very quick. There is so much to chose from , beef chicken, seafood vegetarian, you name it, we were few of the Europeans there so you kniw the food is good. I like to recommend the excellent staff. Price is good and we even got to take home a doggie bag. Next time i come to perth i will order xtra to take home.

Our evening Sunday regular. Our favourite meals are... Shakin Beef. Beautifully cooked meat served with wok tossed veggies. served with or without rice. Looks expensive on the menu but well worth the price. Pho Bo. Beef noodle soup with lots of herbs and sprouts served on the side. Deep and rich, what you should expect when you have this traditional soup. Bun Bo Hue. Spicy and a little oily but thats how it should come if you want to feel the heat as you sip on the soup. Always good service but they get a little busy in the evenings so do what we do and go early around 6 if you want something quick.

Went down to Chopsticks in northbridge last week for dinner and was treated to some of the best Vietnamese food in Perth, along with staff who were very friendly and provided speedy service. Would recommend to anyone for a nice dinner out.

Came to try on a lazy Thursday. We came when it just opened at 11am so had the waitress full attention. Ordered rice vermicelli salad with meat spring rolls, special broken rice and combination Pho. For drinks we had vietnamese iced coffee. All three dishes were delicious . The msg isn't used alot which means the pho broth has been done well. Broken rice was a big servicing with a whole pork chop. Their menu is sparce so will definitely come back for more.
