Place wasn't too busy when I visited. I was greeted fairly welcoming. Total costs were about $28 for a fairly sized Cuban sandwich and a mojito (happy hour). Food was okay, vibe and atmosphere were really good - great deco and location. I would say my own experience would be fairly okay - not the best, but okay.

Always such a positive experience here. The customer service and food are always of high quality and there is a such a good variety of food, I am always in two minds deciding which option to pick. HI My friend and I love shopping at Joondalup even though we live south of the river. We love coco Cubans with all the lovely pictures on the wall, the brown leather seats and comfy atmosphere. Food very reasonably priced and when paying bill seniors discount applied without us asking. The service is great, the food yummy, the staff friendly. Thoroughly recommend it. Last visit on Monday7 June.

I loved this place a couple of years ago but my visit today was a bit disappointing, not sure if management has changed. The haloumi fries were delicious but I wouldn't order the nachos or guac and corn chips again, the nachos plate was tiny and it had cheese sauce instead of real melted cheese, and the 'guacamole' just tasted like avocado although I could see tomato pieces i couldn't taste lime coriander or even salt, but the corn chips were nice. I also enjoyed the sangria, but the menu also didn't seem to have a lot of Cuban dishes.

The staff there are friendly and if you can get there between Monday and Friday you'll catch ten dollar lunch deals and the food is quite good. And if you think the food is something check out the interior. It's like the Titanic found a way to raise itself from the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

Went here for lunch for my son's birthday. First time for us dining at this place. The servings were ample and of good quality. The granitas were so refreshing as today was a hot day. Everything that we ordered were lived to our expectations. Will be back.

Coco Cubano has become one of our regular date night spots. The Cubanito cuban sandwich is noteworthy, and the staff are always so friendly! However, as a long time customer I just wish Coco Cubano got a little more love. We almost always get the same booth, and over time we've seen the artificial flowers gather dust and the booth seat tear through. Despite being in the heart of Joondalup, attached to the shopping centre and adjacent to the train station, Coco Cubano is always pretty quiet when we stop by. The acclectic style, friendly staff, and cuban inspired menu could lend itself to being such a 'vibe'-worthy and popular place to be. So it's a shame to see Coco Cubano seemingly fall short of its full potential. As a regular customer I'd love to see Coco Cubano in Joondalup get a deep clean, and appropriate repairs (i.e. the booth seats). I have a lot of love for this restaurant and despite the above, will continue to support them, both in person and via Uber Eats. Thanks to all the staff that have offered consistently great service, and to whoever first brought the Cubanito to the menu - I dream about that sandwich!

Every single time I come here, I have a wonderful experience. I love the music, I love the lighting, I love the vibe. This place is so chilled and laid back. The guy who runs it has always been friendly and accommodating. The decor is really funky, and this place has great areas to sit - outside, some near the big bay windows, some further in under soft warm lighting, and some tucked further down the back in a cozy nook with mood lighting. However you're feeling today, this place can cater to it. I highly recommend coming and checking this place out. If you want a regular place to meet for coffee, this would be the one.

It's about 15km from home on the bicycle. A nice spot to stop for a light lunch (starting from $10 and served from noon). Service is always good and friendly and the food, ranging from pulled pork buns to tacos to wraps are pretty good value for the money. The coffee here is good too and then there's always the beers and cocktails. Credit cards accepted and it's nearly right above the train station. Free parking is usually available.

I’ve been here many times over the past year and they keep getting better. The chicken Burrito I one of the best I’ve ever had, chips tasty and crunchy ! I had my first Aperol Spritz at $13 was so good. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating! I don’t normally post reviews but this is legitimately my favourite restaurant and I am hard to please.

Nice place , loved the choices of seating arrangements. We had the chicken/mushroom quesadilla and the Havana salad, both had good flavour but the guacamole portion was very small. No beer was on tap as they had problems with the tap. There was not enough waiter for so many guest but thank to our waiter Kirk we had excellent service with a smile...Lunch time is very busy , we hope next time we get a bit faster service.

Food a bit pricey but I don't mind paying because keeps this place open. All the wingers about prices and service; there is maccas around the corner so go there for your quick cheap fix. I don't frequent here enough. I popped in Friday 12th July as i needed a bite to eat and to sit and fire through some emails. I'd forgotten how good their chicken burrito's are. Service is always good, friendly and polite. Prices are very reasonable.

Amazing food and very friendly staff but they forgot a few things. My boyfriend and I went on a Tuesday night and it wasn't too busy. With our food we asked for some dipping sauce which we always ask for but they never brought it to our table and when ordering dessert they asked if we needed anything else and we asked for another glass of water which never arrived. Despite that I love this place and this hasn't happened on my other visits, hopefully it's just a one off :) will definitely be back!

“Great Food - Great Service!” We stumbled upon this amazing place by sheer accident, arriving off the train in Joondalup, which is right near the station & shopping centre. We both just LOVED the decor and upon arrival we were offered a choice of tables. We chose a lovely table indoors amongst all the amazing stuff that is on display in this beautiful restaurant/cafe (not sure how to describe this place). The service was VERY good & all of the staff were very pleasant & very chatty - of which we love. Our early dinner was exceptional & our original waiter's memory of our specific order was fascinating, as was his funny conversation. Our meals were served quickly (probably because we got in early before the evening rush) & we were both impressed by the owner's passion for his 'new' business venture. I love this place. Food is amazing, service is wonderful and there’s a great vibe all round.

We really enjoy this place. Have been many times for breakfast on Sundays. Atmosphere is warm and fun. Food has always been great with little unique twists. Never been on an evening but bet it would be just as enjoyable.
