Came here for dim sum and we were pretty happy with what we had. The food was overall pretty good, would recommend chicken feet, salted egg yolk buns, beef strips and the drinks. Very good value for the price.

This is the perfect yum cha restaurant! Friendly service, plenty of dumpling options, all of the fillings are fresh and served piping hot! We really went to town when ordering but ate everything. I usually stay away from the fried items but because they were fresh, they were easy to eat and not too heavy. Loved it

3.5 - 4 stars Environment: have 2 adjoining shops: right side decorated in traditional Chinese restaurant is larger and darker, and left side is like a bright and clean cafe. I prefer left hand side one for yum cha. Service: shortage of manpower. Have to wait to be seated. Waited longer at right hand side shop, so went to left hand side one. Staff's attitude was ok, gentle and attentive, quick movement. Food served fast. Food: good in taste and portion. Reasonable price. Use loose tea leaves. I tried steamed fish balls, Bean Curd Rolls in Oyster Sauce, Beef Tendon in BBQ sauce. Tendon was very tender. Salted & Pepper Squid Tentacles was made to order, and so crispy.

Amazing food and service! We loved the chicken feet, shanghai dumplings and pan fried dumplings. Service was ever so friendly and well mannered. My wife left her handbag and didn't realise until we were on the otherside of the city, we have the restaurant a call and they said it was there and kept it aside. The time we got back, they were closed until the open for the 2nd period. They were happy to open the door for us and take the handbag. Above and beyond service. Excellent yum cha, dim sum. Great menu with a vast selection of affordable items to choose from. This visit I have the vegetables with oyster sauce, salt & pepper squid, bbq pork rice flour rolls and steamed chicken feet a long with a nice tea. I have to say it was all delicious. A great place for Dim Sim with family or friends. Very clean restaurant with pleasant staff. I really feel this place deserves the five stars given.

Great service, amazing foods for the right price. Only downside from this one experience, we booked a table for 7:30 and didnt sit down till 8pm. I understand some people like to sit and talk, but to run a restaurant, you can politely ask customers if they could finish up soon as they have other customers coming for a reservation.

We have been coming to this restaurant for 20 years and it has maintained the quality throughout the years. The squid is fantastic as are the Shanghai Dumplings. The BBQ pork buns - both types are also favourites. The special fried rice is great and full of bits of prawn and squid. We always arrive at 10am on Sunday morning to be sure of a table.

Tasty dim sum. Place was busy, but we didn't have to wait for a table because the staff are very efficient. Staff are friendly and pleasant. Portion sizes are big. Food is great quality and very fresh. Restaurant appears clean. Plenty of room for the dim sum trolleys to move through. Parking in the CPP on Roe street is on the expensive side ($9 for just over 1 hour). Overall, this is a lovely dim sum restaurant!

This place was pumping for a Friday lunch time in Jan 2020!! You can't make a reservation here, but man do they do a good job of making room for you and fitting you in. This is a great place to bring a few friends and have a nice food, good fun noisy atmosphere. This is NOT a romantic eating place. It is great food, awesome service, really great service actually, and really great value, good selection of food, I did pass up on the chickens feet!!! Good desserts, this place is really worth the effort. Right in North bridge.

One of the most legit place for Dim Sum in Perth. They are not pushy in offering their fares compared to other establishments which can be quite annoying. Expect to wait in line till your number is called out but it’s worth the wait for the authentic flavours, choices & portions. Consistent good food & service & reasonable pricing. They are currently shut for 3 weeks for Reno but do yourself a favour & give them a try in May 😊 This one of the bigger dishes that can be ordered during your Yum Cha session. Best dim sum. Great, efficient service. The BEST Portuguese egg tarts we've had anywhere, including overseas! Husband loves the bean curd rolls, squid is usually nice. Look out for the mango and coconut jelly desert, shaped like little animals. Does get crowded on Sundays. If you come at the peak time, getting towards midday, you will have to queue, and it can also get very noisy.

Sister told us that this was the only place to get the salted egg yolk custard bun, which was really nice. As an example, purchased a plate of fried rice for the children and it cost $20 so I would rate this as a little on the expensive side. Overall however I would highly recommend.

We booked 9 tables for a special occasion (baptism) and everyone was so happy with the food and service. We booked on Easter Sunday and they were so accommodating even though they were super busy. Thank you to Joe who looked after us from beginning to end, and thank you for all the service staffs who were pressured when 90 people rocked up with requests. Last but not least, the amazing chefs who cooked our amazing meals, we requested meals to come out fast as our family eat quite fast, and that is exactly what they did. All food came within 1 hr, we had ordered similar to a banquet but chose our own dishes.

I find dim sung restaurants staff mildly annoying, the way the bark dish names at you, this place was the worst I have been too, the staff were persistent in trying to get you to take dishes that we did not want. The dishes we had were nice enough but we went to a different dim sung restaurant in Belmont forum and they were nicer in my opinion and there was a greater variety in Belmont. The restaurant had good toilets but I thought the place was untidy, as these places often are with supplies in the hallway. I will not go back again on my own, I guess if other people wanted to go there I would go.

I'm torn if I want to give this 3 or 4 stars so I'll probably decide at the end of the review after I say my piece. We showed up here on a Sunday around 11am and was told it was about a 20 minute wait for a table of 3. Their timing was about right, it was a long time to wait with a toddler but we did it! When we got in, the guy asked if we wanted tea. I said yes and water but instead of water they bought us a pot of what I assumed was chamomile tea. He also gave us a plastic bowl and kids sized fork/spoon for our son. I appreciated the thoughtfulness even though the bowl was dripping wet and we only got 2 serviettes. The food came around in what I would say was moderate timing. We were initially served really quickly but after that it was a bit slow. It was super busy but I expect they know that and should be prepared for it. Good selections of food and the prawn dumplings/shu mai were packed with prawn. Of course you have no idea how much any of the plates cost and my husband always seems to pick the expensive things. First was duck, that I wasn't a fan of, then the crispy pork belly which was great and our almost 3 year old ate it. Then the fried squid, which was my choice and I don't regret it but it was super salty. Upon leaving, I asked 2 different people 3 times for take away containers because I'll be damned if I'm leaving expensive food on the table. They really just didn't want to deal with us after we stopped eating. Total was about $110. So pretty pricey for dim sum. Maybe next time we'll choose less plates and more bamboo baskets? So overall - semi-ok service, decent food for the most part, possibly overpriced. I'd like to go with 3.5 starts but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

One of the best dim sum restaurants in Perth. Everything is super fresh and piping hot. They also do a unique version of the Portuguese egg tart which kinda tastes like a hybrid between an egg tart and a Hokkaido cheese tart.

Found this place on reviews for a family dinner for eight. Well I must say this is one of the best Chinese meals I've had and I've had many. the service was prompt and efficient and the house red was excellent. The food came out quickly, was plentiful and the flavour was excellent. Well worth the travel into the city from the suburbs as we did. What a fortune found.

Egg tarts were awesome. Prices are entirely reasonable given the quality. $25 will get you a very full belly unless you are a big eater. On weekends be prepared to wait for a table though as the quality of this place is no secret. Would recommend unreservedly.

This place is two restaurants in one, one side is mainly different dumplings that they serve by coming around with different types asking if you'd like some, they then mark a card on your table for you to be billed correctly. The other restaurant side is a'la carte. The restaurants are separated by a wall and have their own entrances. I went to the dumpling side and will be back! 👍👍👍😎😎😎 Really good dumplings of a good range to choose of. Desert also gets served the same way. Very friendly pleasant atmosphere and not expensive.

Given that Northbridge has a ton of asian restaurants, and options are aplenty, one may think that all asian restaurants within the area are the same. Fortune Five restaurant has been one of the best places that we have been to, and their dimsum is truly authentic. You can always tell by the texture of the "skins" on their dumplings. I have been to many dim sum places around the world including Hong Kong, and I have to say that I would rank this place as one of the best that I have by a mile. Usually with asian restaurants like that, you get leftovers from yesterday's batch. But even as early as 10:30am when the doors first open, the dumplings teaste really good. You can also tell by the texture of the prawns. many places have prawns mixed with flour, but not this place. Take my money Fortune Five! 💰 💰 💰

A hustling, bustling restaurant that's good for families. But not where you feel stressed out, more like it's efficient. If you don't know what a dish is, they're more than happy to explain it to you. You wouldn't go here if you're after a romantic meal, or a long drawn out lunch, but it's a great place to stop for a feed while out and about in Northbridge. Staff were on the ball, food was great, prices are about what you'd expect. I've come here for work get-togethers as well as yesterday with the wife and kids. Speaking of kids, even my "I don't like spicy food" 4 year old enjoyed the food. Tables seem to turn over pretty quickly, so if they're full, just wait a bit and you'll be in. You can order off the menu, or wait for the carts to come around, or both.

The staff are very eager to accommodate your needs, they happily brought a few yum cha dishes from their adjoining yum cha restaurant. My only complaint is the seating can sometimes be a bit cramped, but overall it's a great place for authentic Chinese food.

Came here to avoid the long queues at the other two along Roe St and was very pleasantly surprised to find the selection of dim sum offerings very good indeed. Authentic and really nice dim sum! There is always a line outside during lunch time whenever we go so expect a waiting time but they are very efficient about it so it doesn't take too long. A long queue also tells you that it is quite a popular place so you won't be disappointed. Their service is really quick, they have big portions at a very low price compared to other dim sum places. I especially recommend the egg tarts, siu mai, and egg yolk buns! Going there for dinner is always a great dining experience and the food is very authentic and delicious. We always leave satisfied!

The restaurant's business is quite good, you would be able to see the waiters shuffling around busily. However, the waiters aren't really attentive. For example; when I had asked for 3 spoons, he gave me 2 instead. Due to having quite a number of customers, the amount of time needed for food to be served for me was 30mins. During this 30mins, we were served complimentary soup and prawn crackers, which I thought was a good service. However, like I had mentioned earlier, the waiters aren't attentive, for when they kept my bowl(used for soup) they accidentally kept my spoon and forgot to replace it. Portion wise it is quite big, my family and I couldn't finish and several tables also took home their leftovers. Overall, I would say that my experience there was quite good.

If you are unfamiliar with anything being served, the friendly staff are only too willing to explain the food to you which to me is fantastic. 2/6, Dinner with family (3 men + 4 women + 2 kids). Have a snow crab dish cooked with ginger, spring onion and noodles. Taste good. Market price AUD70 per pound. Waiter catches and shows us a HUGE size snow crab weight 1.8kg (~4pounds) before cook and were told noodles will be bite size per person. Agreed and proceed on. After the dish comes out, each adult share a small portion of the crab. We overestimate the HUGE pre-cook crab size. To be honest, we need to have two of those to satisfy our appetite. But give it a thought of the price, may need to reconsider. Have some steam oysters, scallops and others dishes too. They all taste good.

A very lovely dim sum place but always packed and long queue outside. You can expect up to 40 mins wait sometimes if they are super busy. Here's another dim sum hotspot in Perth! We were actually planning to have an early dim sum in order to avoid big crowd. However, we woke up late on a lazy Sunday, hence, it was already around 12.30PM by the time we arrived Northbridge. Well, we were quite lucky to get a street parking at noon time (free parking on Sundays). There was a small queue outside the restaurant, and we've only waited for about 15mins to get a table. So that was pretty quick. We ordered: - 2 x Chicken Feet: slightly spicy but for a person who isn't a fan of chilli, I find it quite flavourful and appetizing - Baked Salted Egg Yolk Bun: Not the best but still tasty (Note: it took me a while to remove the baking paper at the bottom of the bun) - Pig Intestine Rice flour with Prawn: the rice flour was thin, smooth and silky. Prawns were huge, fresh and springy - Fried Squid Tentacles: You can tell the tentacles were freshly fried with clean oil. The garlic, spring onions made it more flavourful - Stewed Beef Tendon: It melted right inside your mouth, they've stewed it real well YOU MUST COME HERE, trust me!
