The service was fantastic. The scenery is exceptional. An utterly beautiful location. The starters were a great mixture of tastes. The mozzarella and fig with ciabatta bread was out of this world. I would recommend to any couple for a nice night out.

If you are planning to host an event at the Fraser’s Restaurant, don’t hesitate any minute. Especially their Private Dining Room. Everything was fabulous, views are amazing, service was great and professional and the food just tasted so nice, great portions. One of the best dining experiences I've ever had in Perth. The view is beautiful, even seated inside you can see out to the city and the water. Every course was consistently yum, and the service was friendly and very attentive. Yes, it's expensive, but it will be my go to restaurant for special occasions now!

Sadly our family of four were a little disappointed with our Xmas Day breakfast. At first we were a little worried it would be too hot to be seated outside, however there was a lovely cool breeze blowing & where we were seated was perfect to enjoy the breeze & views. Our breakfast included the choice of three main cooked breakfasts & shared plates of pastries & fruit. The shared plates were lovely, fresh & tasty, however it took over an hour after the shared plates were served before we were served the main cooked breakfast. There was no salt & pepper on the table, which we requested from our waitress when she served us, however it took another ask & a total of 15 minutes to actually receive them by which time we had almost finished our meals. We also had to ask 3 times for a teaspoon to stir our coffee once we had added the very hard sugar cubes we were provided before we were finally brought one. During the breakfast two of us ordered two coffees each and I was a little surprised when upon leaving we were asked to pay extra for two of them, we were not aware there was limit, especially since one of us didn't have any coffee & we had only ordered flat whites! I understand that paying $80 per head was expected since it was Xmas day, however paying extra for 2 coffees I feel was a little over the top! This was the second time we had spent Xmas breakfast at Frasers, last time the food & service was better. We would like to return again one day, however can we suggest that salt & pepper already be on the table & teaspoons come with the coffee? Also, perhaps mention on your booking website if there is limits on anything included in the breakfast?

Exceptional table service. Staff were efficient and service was excellent, friendly staff. Food was good, great flavour. There was a good view of the city. Parking is good and free. Can get busy as not dedicated for restaurant. Long walk/trip to restaurant entrance if mobility impaired & signage from the car park to the restaurant is very poor. If you or guests are mobility impaired ensure to book ahead to get accessible seating as there are stairs around internally but a lift is available at rear of restaurant.

We have been coming here for years now, fabulous location and view. Tonight the service was great but the food was VERY average. the Turkish bread was stale.and way to bready, the dip was tasteless had a long black hair in it. The risotto bland and boring. the pink snapper was nice but served with raw cauliflower and raw kale. The steak was fine but the 3 chips it was served with felt mean and cheap. The rocket and fig salad was to die for, fabulous. We had a fun night but the food really let the place down. The mohito's were a hit.

Wow! Really superb. Already knew the location was amazing even before going, but the restaurant itself is actually really impressive as well. The lighting and decor is super classy, but the food itself is just perfect. The portion sizes are bang on, and every single ingredient in every dish is just awesome. Expected the prices to be exorbitant, but it was actually really well valued! Definitely book this for whatever occasion you're thinking of :)

Positives were the setting and view along with the soft shell crab, fish and calamari dishes. Also the complimentary birthday desert bought out to the table. Negatives were the scotch fillet steak was over cooked, under seasoned and was too lean of a cut meaning it was somewhat dry. It came with chips that turned out to be only three small wedges. I must have lucked out because the fillet steak dishes ordered on our table were perfectly cooked. The cheesecake desert was tasty but deconstructed, I would just have liked good old traditional cheesecake or the menu or serving staff to advise otherwise but they just place the menu in front of you and don’t go over anything ( suggestion for improvement). Overall the experience was fairly good with areas for improvement given the price point, still worth a visit for a special occasion.

Enjoyed a sensational lunch here with family members. The food was delightful, cooked and served to perfection. The wait staff were very professional, polite and looked after us. We sat outside on a beautiful day, clear views overlooking Perth and the swan river, a gentle breeze amongst the gum trees nearby. Close free parking, ramps for wheelchairs or perms and clean amenities.

I ate at the Botanical Cafe twice, once for lunch and once for breakfast. The fruit scone and Eggs Benedict were outstanding with wonderful flavor. The steak sandwich was great tasting and satisfying. The cafe is welcoming and the staff is attentive. The beautiful surroundings are breathtaking. Definitely the place to enjoy lunch and breakfast in Perth.

Pretty average food for an event that cost $300. Dry chicken, tiny meals, canapes were hard to come by. Some dessert options were nice but lacking. Creme brulee was really eggy, doughnut was nice but lacking jam in the centre. tart was rich but yummy, gelato and cheese board was really good. The service was hit and miss. Sometimes champagne or wine took an hour to come by, other time it came within 30 mins. Mainly the former. Audio on event was also very crackle and soft

Fine dining at it's best. Fraser's Restaurant checks every box: offering the best view in Perth looking onto the city skyline and Swan riverbanks along with the most satisfying gastronomical experience. Would highly recommend the roast potatoes with a hint of garlic to elevate the taste in sides, and Fremantle Octopus in the mains. The staff is very amicable and does accommodate last minute reservations on weekdays. All in all 5 out of 5 stars.

Occasion was a small family birthday celebration. Cold welcome at the start by the cashier. The table alloted was good and as reqested. Great views albeit on a day of inclement weather. The portion size of the main (larger) could certainly improve; more referring to Linley valley Pork Belly. The Goldband Snapper was good, but tasted more like panfried than grilled. The Porcini risotto was fantastic, so much flavour and generous size for a medium. The Creme Brulee was eggy and dense. But they do stock some good liquors. Did feel the atmosphere was rather stiff and cold until we had wonderful and warm service by Ruruka. Made a big difference to be served by her sincere hospitality. She even organised a personalised wish for the birthday boy and sparkler at short notice.Couldn't have asked for a better waitress. Having well travelled and trying out fine dining restaurants, Frazers could do with some flavour upgrades and mains dish size reconsideration especially for those prices. It's a great location with fabulous views. Why not match it with fabulous food together with sincere and warm hospitality.

It's a great view... But quite dated... I was there for a Christmas party. Food that was brought in quite good oysters and cured meats etc. The other cooking stations were very average as were the canapes and the sushi was well below average as the rice was barely seasoned. It's really one of those places you pay for a view.

I was so happy to see that Frasers do a separate vegan menu! I tried: -Mushroom risotto (Porcini, Swiss brown, white cup), black Manjimup truffles,tarragon oil) -Bruschetta, heirloom tomatoes, pickled shallot, pistachio, basil oil on grilled ciabatta -Grilled broccolini with toasted almond flaked, extra virgin olive oil -Dessert platter: Caramelized banana, passion fruit sorbet, shredded roasted coconut, vegan chocolate cake, blood beach puree, viola flowers The mushroom risotto was absolutely spectacular, with such a generous amount of truffle 😍 The dessert was also a standout for me, it really doesn’t get any better than a dessert platter! It was also so lovely to dine with the beautiful view of the city and the river. Highly recommend!

We had lovely and stress free Christmas dinner here. The setting outdoors was beautiful and the three courses felt like good value for money. Service was slow but friendly, staff were apologetic though mentioned that they were tired from a full day of service which is understandable. A view things could have elevated the experience further, such as more sophisticated menus as a keepsake and a little more lighting outside as it got dark.

On entering the restaurant we were not greeted by anyone, when the head waiter came he asked how many people on the booking and just pointed to our table. The female waiters were good, but the male waiters were inattentive and not once did we get a smile or ask if the meals were ok. We had a group of ten for a 21st birthday dinner, but the atmosphere was cold, non of the staff acknowledged our granddaughters birthday. My wife and I got the impression they wanted our money but didn't want the customer's. The food was good but a little on the cold side. Very disappointed.

Went with my husband on our honeymoon a few days ago for dinner to celebrate and we both agree Frasers Restaurant is a well oiled machine, in the best way! Food and service to our table was spot on and we were impressed with the timing of it all. Food was Delish! We had the lamb shoulder and shared the crepe brûlée and the mouse! Only comment would be the woman at the front counter handling the reservations and bills, didn’t come across as friendly as the rest of the staff. Other than this, the evening was flawless and the views were awesome from the dining room. Highly recommend!

I've had a very bad experience and also a good one. Food was great both times even though it was function catering. However the service on one occasion was horrendous. We booked a table for a Christmas function and when we showed up there was no table. Staff were dismissive of the situation and follow up emails were not replied to. A recent work function was alot smoother but can't look past the horrid service and lack of care.

I highly recommend Fraser’s Restaurant to anyone after a quality A++ experience. We had a wedding dinner there for 38 guests last Friday. Food and wine were absolutely delightful and heavenly. Everything - ambience, waitstaff, service and timing was so amazing and second to none. All our guests, even the super picky ones loved all the courses, wine and of course stunning views of Perth’s skyline from the restaurant. Fraser’s delivery was simply perfect. It is definitely a place you would want to visit!

The view of the Swan River and Perth City is absolutely beautiful and certainly makes the whole dining experience one to remember. We walked in for lunch after my daughter's graduation ceremony at UWA and they were only too happy to accommodate us at a nicely appointed table. While the food did take a little while to arrive, when it did it was absolutely delicious. I had the duck breast and my daughter and her friend had the pork belly. Totally clean plates tell the whole story. While a little pricey this is a special occasion restaurant worthy of its reputation. The only negative is that, whilst the natural wooden tables are lovely, I much prefer fine dining on a white linen tablecloth. The thing about Fraser'd is the view of the city. It's a great view, but the food is expensive and mediocre, and remarkably unadventurous. Even with fare that can be found in many pubs, it failed. The pork belly was fatty and stringy, rather than soft and gelatinous, the snapper was dry and overcooked. The dessert was okay, but the filling of the tart drooled out into a pool on the plate, and the sorbet was grainy. In addition, the wine is horrifyingly expensive.

Went for a wedding reception several months ago and although the atmosphere was pleasant I can't say the same about the food. Gnocchi were ok, followed by 1 small piece of fish with absolutely no seasoning served with half a dozen RAW green beans. No salt no dressing no taste. Dined here last night, undoubtably one of the best locations in Perth. Service was impeccable. For entrees we had the bruschetta and although nice, it certainly wasn’t a showstopper and made me question the quality and quantity of the waiting main meals. Having said this, the main meal exceeded our expectations. We both ordered the Scotch steak which was perfection. (Quite possibly the best I’ve had). A Very nice touch was the little three condiments of mustard to accompany the steak. All in all, a very pleasant dining experience and yes on the pricey side. Our only real complaint would be that at $17 a glass for the wine (one of the cheapest) should’ve been more than 1/3 (if that) Full.

What let the night down was an extremely lengthy delay in our main meals coming out. Apparently the Chef wasn't happy with one of the meals and decided to redo it. Preferable to getting a sub-standard meal I guess, but still meant an unacceptable delay between courses. Also, we cancelled a couple of drink orders but they weren't removed from our bill until we pointed this out. Asked for a vegetarian sandwich option as there were none in the glass display. Was told they had none, and when I asked why, I was informed that they change around the fillings for a variety every day (a likely story), so I asked if they could make me up a cheese and tomato sandwich, and was told they had no more bread! They offered to scrape off the chicken from one of the sandwiches and make that into a vegetarian option. Ok, that was alright with me, but they plopped so much avocado on that it was just sloshing out of the sandwich, resulting in a right old mess. Tasted ok but presentation was terrible. Coffee tepid and not very strong. Also, they were operating a cashless system and insisting upon putting sugar from a sachet in for the customer due to the virus...now that's good, except they forgot about the fact that all those menus they had on the counter, for all the customers to handle and replace, and then for others pick up afterwards. If they're going to do something like that, perhaps they should do it properly and cover all angles, and not go about things half-heartedly.

For dessert, the Popcorn Creme Brulee is for anyone with a sweet tooth. I was in Perth on vacation and dined there twice in a week. Turkish bread; not my favorite but this was particularly sweet and stodgy. Fortunately the great quantities of salmon helped disguise what was like a huge McDonalds muffin. The corn was not only Unecessary , it was totally devoid of culinary merit. I tried one kernel and and then scraped them all aside. Not fresh - no flavour or structure. Chorizo was mild supermarket type. Not great! One of the most expensive brunches I' ve had of this type of meal @ $27. I would have preferred quality over quantity, I was very full and couldn't finish.
