W. D.Really basic setup but the fish and chips in my opinion is awesome. The batter is crunchy and the chips are perfect. I’m a real fuss pot with fish as well but the fish they use is great. Plenty of other fish options available if you like. Pricing is on point and service is always friendly.

J.Ordered fish and chips from Golden Snapper as a treat. Some of the best we’ve tried. Friendly service. The fish was cooked perfectly, calamari yum, oysters yummm 😋 everything tasted fresh and delicious and $5 chips was a huge serving compared to so many other places plus they even threw in an extra piece of fish and a potato scallop. There were no leftovers. We will definitely be back.

A.They didn’t speak English or even know what fish was local or fresh. The one lady that spoke English claimed the “Hoke” was local and fresh even though Hoke only comes frozen and is from New Zealand not Australia. Fail.
