Amazing breakfast, protein pancakes were the best. Will be back again for those. Coffee was on point too. Keep up the great work. And if your on the Keto path, this place is definitely worth the visit, all Marcos are on the menu.

Had a amazing breakfast at Health Freak Joondalup. Good quality food and very tasty. Portion is generous and healthy. Can highly recommend. Staff was extremely friendly and service was exceptional. From when we sat down we where treated like royalty. Food came out quickly and the presentation was fantastic. Cafe was spotless and clean. Coffee (Latte & Cappuccino) was perfect. The food here is pretty good and reasonably priced. We got the chicken lasagna and the loaded sweet potato fries. My lasagna was delicious and nice and light. The sweet potato fries with pulled pork were ok I didnt really like the beans on it, i would have liked more pork instead but overall it was nice. I had the lemon meringue pie which was nice, not overly sweet but it was a bit lemony, it would have been nice with more of the meringue. The coffees were good. I've been here a couple of times and have always had a good experience.

The Mexican scrambled eggs were really good, more expensive than most breakfast spots but definitely recommend it over say Coffee Club.

I came for the $15 Thursday steak night (starting at 3pm). Service was prompt and friendly, steak was amazingly tender, sweet potato chips were well done, and it was well presented (See pictures). Look forward to coming again and trying other things on their menu.

Maybe it’s a Perth thing, ordering at the counter. I’m not a big fan. Especially when the staff don’t tell you that what you have to do. The food was, however, quite tasty. Was a bit worried about the gluten free bread but it was quite nice. The coffee, not so much. Worth a try, but probably won’t go back.

We waited over half an hour for our food. The smoked salmon dish had haloumi which was cold - straight from the fridge - which was a shame. The haloumi and pumpkin dish was very small for the price. Overall though the food was tasty. We told the waitress about both those issues. We were told, "but we are busy and only one chef on today". Well, we are the people who help you be busy, and possibly a warning at the beginning when they took our money would have given us the heads up we may be waiting for our lunch. Nice food though.

Friendly staff, tasty food and as the name suggests almost exclusively healthy food. Only fault was the serving size on the pancakes we ordered which to be honest wouldn’t cost a lot to put together so it doesn’t make sense not to offer a decent serving size. Would do 4.5 stars if possible.

I have to be one of the most difficult people to feed,as im sulfate intolerant. But these guys were fantastic. They made me a coconut milk iced macha latte (i dont recommend if you dont have to😆) and we had the BEST dessert ever. Raw Snickers with icecream and its all vegan!! The staff were so nice and they are doing a great job with social distancing. I'll be going back!

Great place and great amount of vegan options which is a huge plus, but I feel like the food is too expensive for the type of quality it ends up having. I want to feel full if I’m paying $15-$25 and I felt like the amount of food I was receiving was very small portioned and not satisfying enough. Hopefully it will be better in the future!

Great food here. Healthy, raw, vegan, gluten free choices. Proximity to train station makes it central and easy to find if you want to organise a meeting place with friends too. A bit pricey but then you pay for quality ingredients.

Great service. I've been here and to other HF cafes around Perth. All of them have been great so far. This time around, I ordered their protein pancakes with the honeycomb and cookie crumble for a dessert-dinner (got to satisfy them cravings somehow) after an intense Christmas shopping session. The staff were very kind and were even willing to take my order despite coming in 2 minutes before kitchen closing time. Very grateful, the wait wasn't long, food was delicious. Highly recommend.

5 stars for a place that offers healthy food, we need more of these. My son and I enjoyed a green bowl with chicken. I've seen other people's posts that complain about the price, of course we all want as cheap as possible but in saying that we don't want the fast foods with nothing else but chips as a side be our only option.

Lots of potential for the Health Freak franchise, but it seems they’re being let down at service + execution. Ordered the Keto burger - lettuce was old and limp so I tore most of it off. Meat patty was small, burnt on the outside, and raw in the middle. The vege juice we ordered was good. The tables had not been cleared from the previous customers and there was nobody clearing tables or checking on meals. A little more work in the service dept and it has great potential!! I’ll try again once the reviews start to improve, but only because I’m on a strict diet and my options are limited.

The Acai bowl had crunch, sweet and chilled flavours all with natural (fresh and unsweetened) produce. Good sized portion with a hipster twist - a breadboard 'tray'. Friendly, cheerful service and a vegan & vegetarian menu that will need several more visits to enjoy this new addition to Lakeside.

Got a vegan caramel slice en route to Joondalup Local Court to appear on a drug possession matter. Was nice but overpriced, and the agave syrup reacted poorly with the Red Bull I had it with and in turn with the alkylated propargyl levo-methamphetamine I am prescribed for my attention deficit disorder and unipolar depression. Service was good. Cashier's area is crowded, and the cafe itself is in close proximity to the "adlays" who loiter between the shopping centre and train station, which may turn some people away. Much more convenient than their previous location on Reid Promenade next to AdultShop. Would be willing to try again, but with limited vegan meal options and no refined sugar, it is isn't really up my alley as a hardline abolitionist vegan who loves refined sugar. Worth a visit if you are not familiar with their style of food and their approach to healthier eating, and regardless of my personal preference, a good addition to a shopping centre full of junk food and international chain stores.
