Good sushi chain shop. Just reopened for dinner at weekend after COVID outbreak. Old staff and new staff are polite. Sushi chef were wearing gloves to make sushi, but at least one also touched everything with the same gloves. No hand washing so far. New staff need more training. Not attentive. Food hygiene is very important!
New menu. The size, variety, qaulity and portions of suishi and food are similar to pre-COVID. Reasonable Price. Some dishes on the chain are not on menu. Just see the plate color, and know the price.
But now, No dinner sets that's very good value are not available. Pickled Ginger and wasabi is pre-packed now. Crab balls are not served with Spicy mayonnaise. It's just mayonnaise.
G. G.Having lived in Japan it's often hard to come by a sushi place that even slightly resembles the original. In a recent move to Perth, after a number of hit and (mostly) misses, this Jaws is easily the best we've had. Authentic, fresh and well presented, with Japanese staff who are, as to be expected, exceptionally polite and sweet. So pleased to be staying down the road! ごちそうさまでした !

T. O.Undoubtedly the best and most delicious sushi in Perth. Authentic, superbly fresh and lovingly executed dishes, warm, friendly and efficient service, convenient location, so reasonably priced. We are so glad to see you open for dinner again guys! It is sad we cannot travel, Jaws brings us back to some of our most happy memories of Japan. You can taste the chef's attention to detail here from the freshness of the seafood to the texture of the sushi rice, the palate-cleansing warm tea and even the water.
Must try dishes are the tataki beef, hotate (scallop) sushi, aburi salmon, crab stick special sushi, spicy prawn sushi, Kingfish, horse mackerel and unagi (eel) sushi. Their fried treats such as chicken karaage, crab meat balls and takoyaki are all yummy too. We also love the fish wings when available. Save room for dessert, all of them were our favorite!

W.This would have to be the best in Sushi, fresh and tasty, service excellent, staff friendly to greet you, show you to a seat, ask you for any drinks, and asking for anything is no trouble at all, then after paying they all farewell you. This was not only for me but all that left before me. I can honestly say this is well worth a visit. Thank you Jaws.

C. L.Great variety of sushi on a train. Very open kitchen so you can see everything being made right in front of you. The tuna sushi was the best I've ever had. The grilled salmon was also amazing. Matcha cheesecake also very pleasant. A small place, but well worth visiting.

Sushi tasted fresh and the large teriyaki chicken with rice was enough to feed a big guy.
J. L.Got to be the best sushi in town. It's a premium sushi train with some great choices. It never disappoints. It also serves great dessert options. You have to try a creme burlee, it has to be the best I've had.
a. t.AMAZING! The staff are so friendly and polite, and you can tell they really take pride in what they do. Great selection on the train and plenty more made to order should you choose to do so. Everything is so fresh! And the aburi salmon is an absolute MUST!! 🤤😍
P. H.Really variable. For lunch, it was great...good selection of different fish. For dinner on a Wednesday before a holiday weekend, fish selection was awful...essentially salmon and ebi only. I guess in Perth we have to pay attention to such details. Nice people, and it can be great with really nice people and pleasant service for the price!
T. P. O.It's very rarely I go anywhere else other then to the Sushi Train for great Sushi. This place can get very busy especially during lunch hour as it very popular. The Sushi here is alway fresh with many items to choose from. They also have a take away section which is also very popular. Staff are always very friendly.

If you want some easy fresh Japanese. this is the place to go. It's inexpensive and fresh. Food is prepared in front of the customer. People can have al a carte or collect form the sushi train that is constantly being replenished.
If something is not on the train, just ask and the chefs are more than happy to provide.

J. M.Good sushi, but the price is perhaps a little overpriced for what you get. It used to be the place to go but with other competition popping up all over the place you'd hope the prices would adjust to the market.
It's handy to have nearby but it's no longer my go to place for sushi.
