Comments of Jaws Sushi Town Hall
A. L.
Our go to place for sushi. Been here for many years. Always delivers and the restaurant atmosphere is always pleasant. Their sushi has the best flavours and they are fresh. One of my favourites from here is their Una Tama (Bbq eel omelette). Service is always quick even for ala carte order that you cant find from their sushi train.
L. N.
I ate here last night and it was so delicious. Earlier in the night, I was clumsy and accidentally tipped one of the karrage chicken off the rail and into my sleeve and the chef were so kind about it, he cleaned it up and then one of the staff provided me a wet paper towel to help me clean it up. I was so thankful and so grateful for their amazing and high quality service. Their seared salmon, spicy salmon, karrage (my partner had 6 plates, and it was perfect every time!) and jellyfish sushi was so delicious. The dessert creme brulee and matcha pudding with sago was so good as well!! I'm definitely coming back
L. H.
Simply the best! The hotate (scallops) were so big and fresh. Uni (sea urchin) from Tasmania was on special and I swear it melted on my tongue. Every other dishes were very well delivered as well. The service staff and chefs were very nice and friendly. Wish I live in Perth and can come back here lots!
L. L.
They have the all you can eat night on every Saturday night. A must if you are a sushi lover. Same with all the sushi train, you can’t always guarantee how good it is for those on the belt. But Jaws controls their quality pretty good. The all-you-can-eat just makes things better. However selections might seem like limited. They do have some specials like skewers served by staff walking around, which brings in some change every time. Overall, good place for hanging out with friends in various occasions. P.s. for all-you-can-eat, reservation is needed.

Always a family favourite, best & freshest sushi train in the whole of Perth!
Consistent good food & good service over the years.
Been a loyal customer since the original shop on Hay Street.
Hope they bring back the black card membership again, very good value for money😊
C. L.
This place has survived for so long. The recipe? Well consistently good food and reasonable price with excellent customer service. Everything is yummy! I would go there any day!

My favourite sushi train by far in Perth! The staff is always lovely to my partner and I. The sushi itself is always amazing.
P. B.
Great food! This sushi train is a great place in the Hay street mall to grab a quick meal. It has a good mix of traditional and modern plates. If you come at peak lunch times there can be a bit of a wait but it's worth the queue.
T. T.
Talk about loading up! $37 dollar all you can eat within 50minutes. Great if with a group all can go Dutch! Is located handily on Hays Street just around the corner from CCP parking station. You can imagine my surprise parking there on a Saturday evening hitting Jaws Sushi 🍣 (50mnt) then returning to find being less than 2 hours or 1.5 hours free parking!!!
Oh yes bottle shop only 3/5 store down (I've always found Prosecco goes the best with Sushi.
S. H.
A fairly standard Sushi train. Apart from what they have on the train, they also have a number of set meals. It you go during a time when it's not really busy, I'd recommend using the plates on the train as "inspiration" and order fresh, since the stuff that's on the train just goes round and round for ages. That being said, the food that I ordered fresh tasted very nice.
The plates are a bit more expensive then other sushi trains (everything other then the very basic stuff is $5+), but the drinks are reasonably priced.

생각보다 별루였어요ㅠ 가격할인은 착하네요
Appreciate their discount on weekdays lunch and staff was quite friendly. Tho, it wasn't that enjoyable. Not really fresh and tasty as far as concerned, which makes here less competitive.
F. S.
Best sushi train on Perth. While a little pricier than some of the others in town, the staff are courteous and professional, and the sushi on offering is fresh and varied.
D. S.
Love the sushi train there. Great quality shushi every time we go and the staff is super friendly!
E. S.
Good sushi and the all you can eat on Saturdays is a steal for 37 bucks, very cheap! Staff very welcoming and polite. The place is always clean and tidy.
S. K.
Tried the all you can eat sushi. The sushi range is very very limited, not many option. Would recommend to try just once.
Will come back again but not for a while
S. M.
Cannot go past the All You Can Eat Sushi, whilst not the full menu, the dishes served are excellent and you will definitely eat your money's worth.
N.
I have eaten here many times and it is consistent good! Chefs prepare dishes fresh in front of you to put on the train and it’s a great way to discover new favourites. You can also order off the menu and can eat as little or much as you like. The grilled salmon ngiri is particularly good here. The staff are always very friendly and cheerful.
A. L.
Nice place for some sushi. Plates range from $5.50-$8.80ea or thereabouts. Prices have been gradually climbing over the years which is to be expected however now it has become a little harder to justify eating at this particular Jaws when it’s costing $40-50 to get kinda full for a lunch. Having said that it’s a convenient location if you’re on foot in the city. Can be busy during lunch rush times and knock off times during the week. Staff are friendly enough, the chefs more so than the wait staff. Ironically the rewards card isn’t that ‘rewarding’..
R. O.
Great Suchi trian right in the Hay street mall. Good food and nice service as well.
R. R.
Always fresh and a quick way to have great authentic Japanese food . Clean and usuall easy to get a seat around the rotating belt of delicious delicacies. 👍👍👍👍👍
r. C.
After 22 years of dining at Jaws in it's various locations over the time it is still a terrific place to enjoy Japanese cuisine.
o. m.
Always a delight to pop in for quick bite from the sushi train or take your time and order of the menu with friends. Note noon until 2 pm is peak demand and you may queue for a few minutes if dining with 2 or more people. They also do take away.
A. M.
Sushi train has variety. The chef is very friendly and can make some impromptu dishes as per your request
C. L.
Best sushi train in Perth I believe. The staffs are very friendly. They got wide range of sushi to choose. The wasabi is well preserved so the taste is good. Also the mochi is very nice althought the price might be a bit high. Overall the prices are acceptable for me.
J. L.
OMG all you can eat sushi on saturdays for dinner!
N. M.
Best sushi place, l enjoyed the variety dishes.
R. f.
Great service and really who doesn't like a sushi train!!! Good selection of food and they will make fresh from menu as well. Check out their 'all you can eat' - I have not been however I heard that it is worth it.
J. H.
I like to come here for the sushi train buffet. However the 30 minute slots doesn't make sense. i.e if you arrive at 6:15, nonetheless you will have to get out at 6:30. Sushi is meant to be enjoyed slowly while interacting or catching up with friends. This makes it alot like junk food where you have to eat quick just to fill up.
M. M.
Friendly atmosphere, fresh, simple sushi. Very clean and a good selection for a sushi train. Matcha cheesecake and Creme brulee were perfect desserts! Been here a few times and will definitely be back, you can tell everyone was enjoying themselves. Customer service makes such a difference to an experience and we are starting to notice it could be a cultural attribute.
J. B. (.
Friendly staff, excellent quality sushi including sashimi. Right in the heart of the city.
You might have a short wait to be seated at the lunchtime rush - but that just proves the food here is loved by many!
J.
All you can eat was nice. A lot of choices.
C. T.
This review is based off the All You Can Eat (AYCE) Saturday Session. I have been before to dine on a normal session, but you get put off by the plate costs.
This was my first time eating at Jaws Sushi for the AYCE session on Saturday, which lasts for 50 minutes. We arrived early as stated on the online memo before booking, so we made sure not to miss it. There are street parking, as well as CCP or Wilson parking not too far from this restaurant's location.
Once we paid the fee for the session (they don't take AMEX), we were seated down and given bottles of 600ml Mount Franklin water instead of tap water, which is really great in my opinion, and it was also chilled so it helped when trying to push the food down (maybe?). There are also options of buying your own drinks, but we were really happy with the water that was provided.
Not knowing how this would go, the three of us went through about 15 plates in the first 20 minutes, and decided to relax a bit. Being the first session for the evening (5pm), there wasn't a lot of choices first up, so slowing down allowed other menu items to appear on the conveyor belt.
Compared with other sushi trains we normally go to, which has a fixed price per dish, being an AYCE, this allowed us to feel like eating in those other establishments, as looking at the plate pricings on the wall, the lowest costing dish was $3.00 and I believe the highest was $8.50, with the average being around the $5 mark. We knew what we liked and went for it.
In terms of variety, being at the AYCE, you could only eat what was on the conveyor belt. If you wanted anything else that didn't appear, then you had to pay for it on top of the initial payment. We stayed to what was on the conveyors as it was sufficient for our needs. We waited for the train to cycle around several times and allow us to have other menu options when possible. The staff progressively walked past our table (possibly counter for other customers too) and collected our empty plates making way for more of our dishes to pile up.
In terms of desserts, they will give you an option near the end, but this may vary from session. The two desserts that were available were not to my liking. One that was offered was strawberry ice-cream, but I would have preferred green tea, being a Japanese restaurant and all. You are only allowed one dessert as part of the AYCE.
Lastly, a word of advise for those reading. If you are planning to wait for them to call out for the final 5 minutes, make sure the final dishes you want are common otherwise start taking what you want in the last 10 minutes or earlier, as it probably takes about 5 minutes for the conveyor belt to do a single rotation, so I missed out of filling up, but this is my loss and your gain.
Overall, a great dining experience met with great customer service. Will visit again with other mates, family or colleagues.
S. C.
Food is ok. Costs can add up very quickly so be careful
O. M.
The all you can eat is a must try for people that appreciate different culinary experiences. The sushi is okay but all you can eat makes it better. Just don't take a plate that your not sure of cause if you don't like it you either eat it or pay extra for wasting it
A. W.
Kids friendly. Genuinely good food, reasonably priced and super friendly staff. Love it.
J.
Jaws, specifically this branch is my favourite place in Perth for sushi and has been for nearly 15 years now. I've tried sushi in many different countries including Japan and I've got to say they are one of the best sushi trains out there.
E. v. d. K.
To the owner: Please consider doing your part for the environment and lower the amount of single use plastic you use.
That said, I love this place. I've been heaps of times during happy hour and I will keep coming here. Dining-in means you can eat without leaving a plastic foot print... I think that's great.
C. K.
Love this place. Our favourite place to go if we all wanted sushi. Offer variety of sushi. We like the all-you-can-eat especially!
M. S.
A bit limited with their hot foods, but an excellent selection of sushi and other small plates.
V. B.
This was my first experience at a sushi train, I was a bit nervous but the staff were very friendly and explained the process. The food was very tasty too and very fresh. A great experience all over, I will definitely be back.
D. F.
The best sushi bar I have been to in Perth. I love the bullet train that delivers separate dishes to the table very friendly staff, with a clean environment, and reasonably priced for the quality of food available. Will definitely visit again.
B. G.
Good food, friendly staff our favorite Japanese place
R. W.
Very tasty food, really friendly staff with great attitudes. The chef can be seen making all the food, as he is in the centre of the restaurant. The salads were delicious and very big, we left full and happy. The prices are slightly more than other sushi places but it's definitely worth it! The restaurant was quite busy but the staff coped well, and this created a lovely atmosphere.
H. R.
Excellent selection of sushi, great service. Just a bit small and you might have to wait if you're in a group during busy periods.
K. D.
The sushi here is absolutely to die for, and can be ordered and prepared right in front of you on the spot - although the sushi train items are usually just as delicious. The items are a tad pricey but honestly it's worth it. The only complaint I have is it is a tad too small and gets very busy and crowded over lunch time and you are often packed in side-by-side on the stools like sardines. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and polite and always happy to help. I always look forward to going here.
K. “. M.
Delicious food, but unfortunately not a lot of choice on the train because we went around lunch time. Very popular spot, with really lovely staff service.
D. C.
Nice staff! Went on Saturday night and did the all you can eat. The sushi train was pretty ordinary. I couldn't help compare to the other Jaws restaurant which has a much fresher and amazing sushi train.
L. T.
Very nice sushi train. The staff is super friendly. The choice has improved a lot since last year. Overall is a very good value for money. Saturday night is all you can eat for 42.50 AUD.
J. T.
Jaws Hay Street is simply amazing! We come here all the time and have always had great food and a fantastic customer service experience. Thoroughly recommended!
E.
Love eating here great food and friendly staff. Unagi nigiri very tasty! Miso soup also very good. Please keep the individually wrapped ginger it’s much tastier! Also on Entertainment book
k. s.
Excellent service, good range of sushi.
S. R.
I have been going to Jaws Sushi for sometime now and find the place to have some fantastic fresh sushi, the service is exceptional, prices reasonable and the range of dishes on offer is extensive. I thoroughly enjoyed the food every time I have gone.
S. C.
Had a small chicken teriyaki take out. While waiting for my order , the host so graciously invite me to take a seat inside while waiting. Observe that The staff were polite and efficient and when I had the food in my room later , i felt the serving were generous and tasted great !!!!
Will remember to post pic first before eating next time ha
Will try their creme brûlée next time :) all the best !!!
D. M.
No other sushi place comes near this one. The staff are so friendly and the variety of food is great, I love coming here.
X. J.
Best sushi in Perth. Exactly the right elements for a great sushi experience. Fresh. Fun. Friendly. My favourite place for lunch in the city.
M. D.
It was the best sushi restaurant I've ever had and im keen on going again
J. M.
Standard Jaws sushi which is good but not exceptional. Used to come weekly on Saturdays for the all you can eat but the price has been creeping up and the quality has been creeping down.
Overall the food is pretty good and the service staff are friendly but it's tracking in the wrong direction at this stage.
M. “.
Great for lunch in the city. Sushi train is good but a little expensive. We always get the miso and gyoza. The creme brulee is delicious and better than a lot of fine dining restaurants. A bit weird getting it at a sushi train but you quickly ignore that because it tastes so good! Would reccomend.
D. V.
My only complaint is that it is too good. Need to fight the crowds to eat from this wonderful repast.
And then I eat too much
P. S.
Staff are friendly and polite. All the staff know whats on the menu. When waiting you are offered a seat. The food is the best and its freshly cooked and prepared in the restaurant all the time. The Halloween night is just fantastic both the staff and customers dress up and participate in the night. Warm and friendly atmosphere on every visit. Its great to see staff smiling and happy to be at work. Well done. Please keep it up.
S. X.
Quality of food can be guaranteed. (Across 2 years being a customer).
Having a dine on Saturday night can have "all you can eat" for $42.5 per person, although there are not as much variant as general days but you still can have major variant of sushi during the session, and the taste is affordable.
Better go for a session during famished, or go with friends and fill everyone up during networking.
T. N. T.
Easily the best sushi train in Perth! Super friendly staff and the most amazing sushi! Don't hesitate to ask the sushi chef for anything on the menu for a fresh serving!
i. M.
My favorite sushi place to eat at fresh food and wonder staff and chefs, wonderful place to eat at with good prices to boot
N. K.
Awesome food, macha cheesecake was really nice!!?
R. C.
High recommend the Saturday night all you can eat! They had very unique dishes which came out constantly fresh. A surprising highlight was their amazing creme brûlée. Another big standout was the service.
F. Y.
Very nice and fresh sushi and always friendly staff can’t wait for my next visit to this restaurant again .Btw very good deals on all you can eat on saturday
J. S.
Great place for excellent Sushi ... a must if you are in the area and enjoy some wonderful Sushi. Pleasant staff, clean and professional. Several of us all enjoyed a variety of tasty dishes.
*.
I love their services, yummy food and friendly staff!!
J. C.
I cant fault Jaws for providing a consistent sushi product.
The Chilli Chicken is excellent.
When I am in town a 15min lunch feed at Jaws fulfills my cravings.
It's no gourmet Sashimi 10star Japanese restaurant.
I would have been disappointed with my lunch 1/200 times 👍🏻😎
C. M.
Love this place -- I go to lunch here at least 3 times a week and have done for the past 3 years. Staff a delightful and the food is great.
E. S.
Fresh sushi, great prices, a wonderful place for a casual meal with friends. I had a delicious green tea mousse for dessert here, after a varied selection of sushi. I would highly recommend this beautiful, hygienic sushi train.
P. T.
Reasonable, nice Japanese food.
K. T.
Sushi always fresh, place is always clean. Been having lunch here almost every Saturday!
J. B.
Decent sushi train that is open in the evenings as many sushi places in the city are only open for lunch. Not licensed though so hope you don't need sake with your sushi. All in all a good dinner experience.
P. P.
Lunchtime service was busy, but the friendly staff members found me a seat at the sushi belt. The belt had a lot of non-fish items (fried chicken, beef tataki, tofu teriyaki) and very little sashimi/sushi, but the 'Belt Chef' took care of my fish order pretty quickly. While waiting, a crispy chilli chicken plate was good (thigh meat, properly crunchy and with fresh red chilli). I did get bones in my salmon nigiri, a first anywhere in the world. I reported this to the chef and my server, who both shrugged. This kind of thing does happen, but I did expect that the cost of one nigiri would be taken off the overall bill to compensate the slip in the sushi chef's attention.
B. C.
Good tasty sushi. Clean place - great atmosphere. Ordered salmon aburi and it was made right in front of me in less than 5 mins. Always a good experience at jaws.
C. W.
My husband and I work in the city and whenever we get an opportunity to meet for lunch we head to Jaws. The food is fast but delicious. It is great value for money and they always make my favourites fresh for me as soon as I have walked in. We have been visiting Jaws for about 5 years now and won't be stopping anytime soon.
S. S.
Super reliable delicious sushi. Is reccomend getting there early (before 12am) as it does get very busy.
B.
My go-to place for sushi! Everything is so fresh and I dare to say that they have the best sushi train in Perth!
S. K.
I'm here nearly every weekend! I really like this place. I don't like to spend too much time sitting and eating so this is perfect for me. Comfortable, fast service, and quality food.
D.
Fantastix staff, service and fresh produce, always a joy to come to Jaws Hay St.
C. L.
One of the best sushi restaurants in Perth. Fresh food and great service.
J. S. S.
Immediate (sushi train) service,
Freshly prepared,

Generous discounts
C. C.
Great sushi!
Especially love the Saturday all-you-can-eat meals
Attentive staff
W. R.
My wife and I have eaten a lot of good Sushi from all around Perth and the metro area but Jaws Sushi is undoubtedly the freshest and tastiest
M. M.
Saturday day night all you can eat sushi! Need I say more? Price was good and I sure ate my money's worth. If you are loke ny husband tho and only eat like 2 kinds of sushi you may have to wait or pay extra to order what you want. Tho I like all sushi and they ways make alot of tuna and avo for my son so we where very happy. Staff where very very helpful and lovely. Thank you for an amazing time.
M. K.
2 words, happy hour! If you want a quick bite or a full blown meal they have you covered I got 7 plates and granted they were the gourmet dishes they fill you up pretty quickly. The atmosphere is great, the staff are kind and looks after their customers. And the offerings are just the best!!
L. P.
Food is still good, but it's starting to slip a bit (chewy octopus, way too cold beef tataki, a lot of cold teriyaki/hot food). It's just starting to get a bit on the expensive side too. Had a similar sized meal at another face Japanese place the previous night for almost half the price.
Pros: Staff are still as lovely as ever, and the service is top notch. The jazz music was a lovely touch for a Sunday lunch atmosphere.
Con: Having to get out of my seat 6 times to let prams past me started to get irritating. Pro tip, don't sit near the door.
D. M.
A great classic sushi train. Always packed at lunchtime, and I can see why. All your favourites and fresh items coming out constantly. A must if your around for lunch.
S. M.
Really good sushi! Just closed most of the time even when opening hours on google say otherwise. Very inconvenient and annoying
A. M.
I love coming to Jaws whenever I’m in the city, it’s my favourite sushi train in Perth.
Clean, high quality and never disappoints.
C. B.
Good food, good service, fresh sushi train. I come here often
A. A.
Great sushi and excellent customer service
A. S.
Decent sushi train in the heart of the city. Great staff with quick service.
N. V.
Food is always fresh and tastes great.
R. N.
Our favourite sushi place in the city, and first choice for lunch - especially if it's Happy Hour. Decent prices and a nice choice of dishes. Staff has always been friendly and attentive.
C. L.
Good variety of different sushi made infront of you by excellent staff. With all you can eat on Saturdays night this place is sure to be lively make sure to go early or make a booking
P. E.
The food today was outstanding, we enjoyed every morsel. The quality of food together with the pricing will see us return again and again. Of extra special note is every staff member sings out each time someone enters the restaurant door. Makes for a wonderful atmosphere.
s. s.
Amazing service and food, great atmosphere, very friendly staff
D.
All you can eat Japanese! How can you go wrong.
Note, you must arrive very early for dinner, right at opening time. They only have a few tables and it fills up fast.
The range of the sushi also isn't that great.
J. W.
Awesome place to start while your in town to shop...Good Food then shop..Happy days!!!
M. B.
I used to really like this place. The fish tonight was very very fishy and they had run out of a lot of things on the menu by 6:30. They took the bad stuff off the bill, but I don’t think we’ll be back.
R. S.
The quality of the sushi was ok, and the variety wasn't too bad. Pricing is about average for sushi in Australia. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and friendly staff
N.
The 5 peace tuna was really good and worth the $12
T. S.
The fried and blow torched stuff is good, but the more traditional sushi is average. Price is quite high as well. Service is good
Y. D.
The sushis are fresh and delicious. Sushi chef also very friendly.
W. M.
Food service, friendly staff, great food and fun atmosphere
K. B.
We searched a fair bit for a sushi train that was open and finally come across Jaws. Even better, when we arrived it was happy hour. 30% off 3 certain coloured plates along with a free miso soup which was delish. Great and friendly staff with a big selection to choose from. Had a great time.
J. L.
Really a ideal place to enjoy sushi in city. Delicious and affordable, service very friendly.
Their creme brulee is great.
V. M.
Delicious, affordable food. At happy hours especially.
D. V.
Awesome sushi train never disappoints. A little pricey for what it which is only reason it's not 5 stars
D. E.
Tasty food, reasonably priced. Great lunch.
X. X.
Good service, nice and delicate food
G. D.
We always enjoy coming here for a quick lunch. The food is always freshly prepared. We never have to wait long for a seat.
G. B.
Still the best in town in my opinion. Fresh, lots of variety. Worth the wait.
S. S.
Nothing amazing, various prices from $3,5 for a caned tuna type of sushi, decent dishes start from $5 and go up to $8 for a tiny plate of two basic raw fish nigiri. It’s ok for a little snack. But don’t go for a full meal, can get quite expensive. Quality of food is alright, but we had better elsewhere...
M.
This sushi train premises was one of first and still going strong. Never disappoints
D. T.
I am so happy that the sushi train is open again for lunch!
J. T.
Good place for a lunchtime Japanese treat or two....varied selection...reasonable price for Perth CBD...
I. J.
The selection and quality of food is always excellent. I alwsys have to finish lunch with their creme brulee. Delish!
s. p.
Really solid Sushi train experience. Never disappoints.
R. L.
the most delightfully part was, we were served by true born Japanese, love to be served by them, enjoying their mannered culture. Food variety aint much, but is good for a basic menu. Will be back.
H.
Amazing and authentic sushi by Japanese chefs. Very busy and cramped during lunch hours. The happy hours (3-6pm) are less crowded and most sushi are 30% off, which is great to try out different types of sushi for a bargain.
S. B.
Wonderful experience with family, best place to be when out touring the Perth’s iconic landscapes and hotel right near by. Also sushi is good for you!
K. K.
This has the best sushi In Australia, Even the Native Japanese people love this place, even though theybare from Japan
j. h.
Very good food and costumer service
J. E.
Came here for some take away sushi and was pleasently suprised. The sushi is fresh and tasted very good. I also got a miso soup with tasted excellent as well. This is definitely very good value for money. Will definitely be back. Keep it up.
W. W.
One of my favorite sushi trains. A wee bit expensive, however the quality of the food is fresh.
A. L. H.
Excellent sushi, great service and reasonable prices.
B. H.
Delicious sushi place with a sushi train setup. Very friendly staff. They serve a few hot food items off their menu as well (i.e. soup, udon, etc). The place can get very busy with a line during lunch hours. There is a bench for you to sit and wait if you so choose.
N. T. H.
Been here just over 10 times not best sushi! Just love it! GOTCH! U rock!
R. R.
Very good sushi place. I had the option to go for an all you can eat which was very good.
E. P.
Went in for raw scallop sushi and a green tea. Emerged very happy.
G. U.
Food is good always. Seating was a bit of a squeeze though. Service was friendly.
J. C.
Always fresh and high quality food
E. T.
Last time we've ordered a sushi platter of Norimaki roll it was so good I couldn't stop eating at the time. The waitress was very polite and gave us enough attention. Very nice restaurant. I'll make reservation soon !
J. R.
I've been to a lot of sushi trains before and this is by far the best one! Highly recommend
A. K.
Sushi 🍣 is freshly freshly prepared in front of you and they all taste good. Go there in the afternoon during happy hours for 30% off.
Y. H.
Awesome customer service. Very friendly staff. Great food.
J. J. F.
Always great sushi and lovely staff
D. L.
Fresh daily made sushi, best sushi train I have had this year. I rate it 5 of 5 stars!
A. K.
Went there for Sat all you can eat, they dropped the price for a limited time but they dropped the quality too. I wished the price and quality stayed the same.
F. H. (.
Best sushi in Perth.. we been coming back almost weekly for the last few years. Great food and service!
M. W.
The best sushi in Perth warm atmosphere and good quality of food
M. W.
Still one of the best sushi places in Perth, hands down. Authentic Japanese chefs in store and a variety of food choices. Staff are really lovely and friendly too. Must try.
C. R.
If I'm in the city shopping around lunch time this is where I go 80% of the time. It's tucked away from the main shopping strip. Customer service, food and atmosphere is great :)
t.
Great place to have some of the Asian delicacies. As you have a rotating area of plates in which you can pick out the food you want to eat. Great service too
d. r. s.
Very very nice japanes food ...no doubt
L. H.
Sushi is always fresh and delicious. Staff always friendly and helpful. Jaws is by far my favourite sushi train in Perth.
J. K.
Great service and nice foods
V. G.
I love this place, the food is really fresh and delicious and i like the special deal with the ‘all you can eat’ on Saturday at dinner!
A. C.
Always high quality Sushi and friendly staff, reasonably priced with quick service - usually busy at lunch M-F however you can ring ahead to book a booth (if youre lucky)
R. E.
Average food. Good service. Does not serve alcohol.
V. S.
I like it!
It may not have the best sushi in town, but I like the food, great chef and awesome services.
M. P.
Love jaws Sushi in the city. This one is a bit more isolated and wasn't as busy...there were less variety and plates would stay on the counter for a little bit unfortunately.
s. O.
The goyoza was nice and the sushi is the best ive eaten. Only problem was that the place was too small.
K. D.
Great place great staff sushi is always fresh!! 😍😍🤤🤤🤤 there every week just ask them about me 😂😂
A. A. a. A.
Our office looks forward to 'Sushi Thursdays'
There is always good variety and Shogo is always on time.
A. B.
I've been coming here for lunch for years. Always friendly service and great quality food.
N. O.
Pricey, but good if you can manage to make use of the happy hour, order out of the window, or just want a small bite. Finally, good quality fish in Perth!
Don't know about their cooked items, but I'm sure somewhere else would do them cheaper and competitive if not better. Get the sushi.
M. B.
Amazing fast service. A little cramped but does not hinder the experience.
D. H.
Sushi plated out in easy to choose colours. Food is top quality. Lines during busy times but that's because everyone wants to go there.
T. S.
A very nice sushi train. Great staff, a nice lunch.
A. J. R. B.
If you love sushi, this is the place to come!
Had a small birthday celebration here, staff are friendly and the sushi is FRESH!
T. H.
Awesome Sushi, price can add up when you're eyes are bigger than your belly, which is normally the case here.
J. B.
Loved it yummy food and excellent traditional Japanese hospitality.
1. “. 1.
one of the better sushi places in Perth as you will be able to tell nearly always a line for lunch seems the prices have gone up ;( prices range from 3 to $9 a plate
T. p. D.
Food was fantastic and the staff were great
T. L.
I would say pretty good food, a bit expensive but the sushi train always has something you want on it.
G. H.
Best sushi I've ever had! The staff are really friendly and the food is incredible.
P. G.
delicious and very aesthetic food and super lovely staff and cooks, can't wait to go back for more!
J. S.
The food is delicious but the servings are a bit small. The prices are fair, about what you would expect from a sushi restaurant.
ミ. M. S.
Honestly don't know what else to say aside from brilliant service.
Was having a meeting and we were the last ones there.. They closed the doors, gave us more tea and allowed us to finish off.
Definetly gonna become a regulair!
M. M.
Brilliant food and a great selection on the train
R. S.
Super fresh sushi, interesting combinations of ingredients, and mostly well-cut sashimi. Relatively well priced. Avoid the urchin though, can sometimes be a bit funky or low quality and spoils the taste.
S. M.
Great range of sushi and Japanese servings on a train and well-priced. Will definitely go back another time.
D. J.
A very good sushi train place
J. C.
Great service but the sushi was average for the price you pay.
J. T.
Got Sushi takeaway from here in the evening after work.. It was awesome and to top it, there's a 30% discount after 3 pm !!
R. L.
Can be a bit of a wait but I love going here. I never leave hungry, though a bit pricey. There's a toilet inside if needed. I like how the ginger, wasabi and soy sauce is on the bench rather than on the train so it's easier to access. At peak times, they double stack the plates which can be tricky if you're slow and the plate you want is at the bottom. There's benches there for when you have to wait.
D. L.
Price is getting expensive but quality of food is still good.
T. B.
Although it's usually busy and there is a wait, this place has very nice sushi and they use high quality fish.
T. A.
Great sushi on the train.. you'll walk out satisfied.. Full to bursting it's that good..
E. N.
Jaws never fails to disappoint. The tastiest and freshest sushi in the greater Perth area - I wish they opened in Freo so I had one closer to home! Love everything I have here and they are always friendly and efficient.
D. A.
Sushi train spot in the city, not bad but not the best I've ever had.
J.
Run of the mill Japanese food. Reasonably priced and fresh.
B. M.
Very nice sushi and super friendly staff. Would definitely go again!
M. G.
Doesn't take long to get a seat. Food selection is great
D. J.
Long standing reliable sushi joint. Refreshes decor regularly, along with the prices.
n.
They're busy because the food is good. If you go during happy hour the food is cheaper and there are usually fewer people there.
E. M.
Best sushi in Perth. Fusion sushi but delicious non the less!
S. M.
Amazing food, great service
W. S.
Nice and cheap for all u can eat but got be fast to take what you like lol

Nice staff, they take orders over the counter instead of what's on the train, nice place overall

L. B.
Really worth it during the happy hour from 3 to 6 pm!
K. J.
Price per plate too expensive. They have to compete with Nao Ramen. Very hard and feel sorry for owners.
C. J.
Always good quality sushi for quick lunch in town, bit expensive but worth it.
M. n. M. B.
Very Good authentic sushi, prices could be better.
N. K.
Delicious tasty little morsels, every mouthful is delightful. And a great place to meet with mates for a lazy lunch....
J. L.
Decent but would love some more traditional items on the menu!

L. F.
Soooo awesome!
Soooo full!
Might explode of tasty sushi 🍣 🐱
B.
Delicious and fun but expensive
C. D.
Love the sushi train and the cone sushi
J. G.
Not up to par sushi train with above average prices.
What I liked: spicy prawn maki and octopus maki
What put me off: seared scallop nigiri that was not fresh
What made me regret coming to this place: the udon. The noodles and broth were way below average. The texture of the noodles was terrible and the broth lacked richness and aroma. It was cheap, ready made udon and I was deeply disappointed which was not up to par. Even less fancy Japanese takeaway restaurants serve much better tasting udon.
I concluded it was not worth visiting this restaurant.
M. J. (.
Great spot for some sushi, reasonable prices as well!
J. L.
Best sushi train in Perth for sure
K. S.
All you can eat Sushi train, you can't go wrong
V. C.
Do yourself a favour and pre-order the Ocean's Paradise. One of the best chirashi-don in town.
R. Y.
Fresh, varied menu. Pleasant staff. Good value for money.
W. Y.
Nice food! Keep the materials original taste! Very good service!!!
C. W.
I'm a Sushi snob... with that in mind - Jaws Sushi: Fish Quality = 4/5 Rice Quality = 4/5 Selection = 4/5 Consistency = 5/5 Price = 5/5 Notes: *Good sushi is hard to find in Perth (too much damn Mayonaise). *Rice quality is just as crucial as fish quality. *Selection is generally the same across restaurants. *I've struck out too many times elsewhere. hope that helps.
H. •.
When chef torched those scallops and put it in my mouth, my eyes just rolled.
e. l.
Prices decent, sushi higher than ok

(Translated) Good food at reasonable prices. The classic ribbon on which you can take the dishes you prefer and in the end you pay according to the colors of the dishes. Take away assortments are also available. For a quick lunch in the city center and sitting I recommend it.

Cibo buono a prezzi ragionevoli. Il classico nastro su cui si possono prendere i piatti che si preferiscono e alla fine si paga in base ai colori dei piatti. Si possono anche prendere assortimento take away. Per un pranzo veloce in centro città e seduto lo consiglio.

(Translated) The name of the shop Jaws Hay St Mall did not notice a Japanese restaurant. There was a fresh sushi on the sign so I looked in through the glass and sushi was around so I entered. Until now, I went to a Japanese restaurant Taka near Perth Station, but if I know the taste here, I can't go anywhere else. Even if the sushi material is fresh and spinning, you can immediately grasp it if you order. I didn't think I could eat delicious sushi in Perth, so the next day I went there and the miso soup was also delicious. The staff were all Japanese (female) and of course the owner was also Japanese. There was sushi and curry at Hay Street at some other TokyoStation store. There is also a currency exchange station and a free cat bus platform on the street where this shop is located. The hotel (InterContinental) was also nearby and in a convenient area.
