Wow, such an amazing experience. The staff are super friendly and gave me excellent information to help me choose a delicious meal. I had the gnocchi with prawns a chilli, it was a mouth-watering delicious meal, it was the best gnocchi I've ever had... Definitely a 5 star experience.

Niche place tucked away in the West end of the central business district. Popped in for an unplanned dinner and they easily catered for us. There is both indoor and outdoor dining.

It was an impromptu dinner date with a girlfriend, and Julio's didn't disappoint. The staff were attentive and friendly, and were helpful catering to our needs. We could only order smaller plates given our appetite, and we were satisfied with what's available to suit our needs. The prawns were fresh and delicious!! Our food came out quick and we were able to chat and dine. It was a perfect evening to sit outside. And good wine list, too!!

I booked a 50th Birthday Celebration Dinner at Julio's Friday evening the 17th September and the staff could not have been more helpful. Every one of them went out of the way to help with the event, even accepting flower deliveries and other requests. The food and drinks were wonderful and the room was the perfect location for a reunion of old friends.

Meals were good, nothing wrong but nothing spectacular. Good value for a good meal. Kids portions are huge so save your some $$ and eat their left overs. A good spot and a bit of a quiet West Perth power spot for lunch. It wont blow your socks off but its good. Recommend the kids bolegnese for $10

Love the 'new' Julio's. Came here years ago when it was a top class Italian Restaurant. Staff are so friendly and attentive and interested in you as a consumer. Breakfast this mornning was delicious. Dinner tonight was terrific. Had entrees as a tapas meal. Great.

We had a Christmas Dinner last Saturday at Julio's. From making the booking, to walking out on the night, nothing was too much trouble from the staff. Nancy took my booking, there was 16 of us, I asked for the private dinning room, as we can, and did get noisy,I had a few menu changes, was absolutely no problem, Nancy was excellent to deal with. We arrived on the night and was greeted so professionally, Eve behind the bar was a delight to talk to, nothing was too much trouble. The supervisor for the night ( I think it was Leigh , forgot your name, but not the great service you gave), introduced herself, and said, if anything we needed, just let her know. The wait staff that served us were so attentive, we all felt like we were special. Over all, service was excellent The kitchen staff prepared our meal fantastically, 4 days down the track, and my staff are still talking about how great the night was. Well done and thank you .

My second visit here and I was not impressed. Again. Service took ages. The squid ink pasta was not cooked well and had hardly any seafood. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I felt this was needed. It's trying to be an up market Italian restaurant but fails as the experience disappoints. You guys can do better.

Went recently for the first time. Lovely venue, efficient and friendly staff. Food was good but only good which was slightly disappointing. Biggest disappointment was with the ratio of ingredients with the entrée and main which I did mention to the waitress. Insalata Caprese - essentially tomato and bocconcini salad. There would have been at least 20-30 cherry tomatoes (so overloaded) and only 1, yes 1 bocconcini torn into quarters. Nera - Squid ink pasta with seafood. 2 clams, 2 tiny prawns and 2 tiny tubes of squid. I counted, it wasn't hard. I have had this dish in many Italian restaurants and it is generous with seafood which normally includes crab. I am hoping Julio's see this review and action it as I would love to go back. Its a shame as the location and venue are genuinely lovely and the staff are great.

Julio's always has superb food. Last week we went and my wife ordered the Salome dish but I think the waitress got it wrong and brought Gnocci instead. My meal came at the same time. They her meal back and my wife told me to eat mine while it was hot...so I did. The waitress gave us 2 free bourbon and pepsis (they didn't have coke) but none the less the gesture was nice...as I finished my meal, the Salome came out and cooked to perfection. My wife was happy then. When I went to pay the bill...I was surprised and pleased that management had waivered the cost of the Salome. That's how a GOOD restaurant looks after it's customers. Thank you Julio's....see you again soon.

The ambience, service and the food is simply amazing at this beautiful heritage building! We had the gnocci with Gorgonzola cheese and prawns. It was to die for! We had a wonderful evening in this amazing restaurant! The staff is professional and friendly , they'll help you in every way possible yet you have your own space to enjoy a nice evening out. We had the chance to try heaps of dishes which were one better then the other. This venue is not a regular Italian restaurant , in my opinion is more like a place were you can taste food inspired to the Italian cuisine but with different recipes. The menu might seem a bit pricey at first look but in my opinion is worth the price!

Love this restaurant especially the heritage building it is in. Friendly staff and great food. Plenty of parking spots at night which is a nice break from the major busy areas like the city Northbridge or Mt Lawley etc. We got the arancini (delicious) beef cheek ravioli (really yummy, beef cheek filling melts in your mouth) and the gnocchi in a gogonzola sauce with prawns, zucchini and chilli. I love chilli but for those who tolerate it, I would suggest to ask for less chilli as it can be quite hot for some people. Great experience once again.

The food, the ambience and overall experience is excellent when dining here. I've dined a few times for dinner and breakfast and always have an equally great experience. I especially love the Angolotti and that impeccable chocolate date pudding! Hats off to the chef for creating a tasty menu and to the manager for hiring friendly staff.

Sadly no longer Fine Dining. 4 separate waitresses. Food came out very fast. Errors like no Espresso with Affogato, Insalata Caprese looked more like Tomato salad than the colors of Italian flag, red,white & green, forgot Red wine with my main, Costata was perfect except Potatoes cold & side salad no dressing. No condiments & had to get from another room after entree served. Thanks our host Andrew who took our feedback very seriously. New Chef & at least 2 waitperson also very new it seems . This was once a fine restaurant. Hope it can find itself again...

Loved dining at Julio's! Delicious food and amazing service! Left feeling like I had just had a long hug from a lifelong friend. Nancy was fantastic and had alot of fun with us when we ordered our wine. The venue manager (I'm sorry her name has slipped my mind) was friendly and patient despite the restaurant being crowded for a Tuesday night.. Nothing felt like too much trouble for any of the staff, which is unfortunately rare for restaurants these days! Will definitely be going back. 100% recommending this restaurant to all our friends. 💕

Wonderful service from ?Angelique? Friendly, a little bit cheeky and she knows how to sell food. - in a good way. Food was perfect, great wine selection. Only negative was the lack of heating. It was really, really cold. Summer time is lovely outside If you go in the winter layer up. . A beautiful fireplace stacked with wood but it was all show, no go.

Parents enjoyed their food. Great outside area to chill at night with a drink. Only downside was the lack of vegan gluten free option on the menu. I spoke to a guy about it though and it turns out they did have some, it just wasnt on the menu. Hes going to look into this error, and also investigate a vegan wine, since they didnt have one of those either. Will return in the future.

Absolutely superb, my partner and I along with eight guests had a blast here last night. We hired the private room at no extra cost, the staff were happy and helpful from start to finish. Big shout out to the man waiting on us who I named JJ (Julio Junior) as we had all had a few drinks at this point, he did a great job of catering to all our needs and being apart of the fun as well, the 2 younger ladies who were assisting him also did great for dealing with us as we were all getting quite carried away. And of course the food was fantastic as well 😊 100% be returning and having similar functions

I visited Julio's with a large group of people to celebrate a friend's birthday. The food was delicious, but it was the service that impressed me the most. Despite the size of our party, our food arrived really promptly! I appreciated how management had planned for our larger group by planning and providing sufficient staff coverage. I will be back!

After reading reviews on Google on the location and building itself, I was expecting the venue to be quaint and a bit more rustic – Julio’s ended up to be part of an adjacent hotel, which made locating it a bit tricky. We arrived slightly earlier but was let and sat anyways. The wait staff were polite and accommodating (despite having my 5 year old toddler running around!) We ordered the ravioli, grilled chicken and the kids meatball meal. I have to say the meal was fantastic. The ravioli was cooked to perfection, paired with the rich sauce flavour that felt heavy in the mouth (in a good way). The chicken was succulent and has an earthy and nutty seasoning. Amazing food.

We went to Julio’s as we were staying at the Sage hotel, not expecting too much, but the pasta was amazing: homemade, cooked perfectly and a lovely choice of pasta types and sauces. One of the best pasta meals we have had in Australia.We had cichetti as a starter and enjoyed these too.

Julio's is a pretty chick place IMO. I came here with a group of 6 friends (including me), and found the service to be fun and light. It really gave us the feeling of a good meal out with mates and missus' . The staff got this really bubbly, happy going feeling with them. The food was good as well. I especially enjoyed the polpete as my starter and the beef cheek ravioli for my main. There were some downsides though. Like the food felt a little generic at times until you tasted them. And the service could have been I guess a little more serious, it felt like they were more interested in each other than us at times. But overall my friends and I loved the experience. We will definitely be back soon cos the feed was so good. Cheers guys =D

Its all comes down to the small things. The night started out a bit odd with slow service and felt like we were unable to get attention of staff for quite a while. One of the meals came out and was very under-cooked and was ordered to be redone. As an apology the staff provided a side dish until a NEW rib-eye steak was cooked and prepared. Well done for the pickup of quality for what was looking likely to be a write-off night.
