Stumbled across this little number while staying at a hotel close by and it was for sure meant to be. Upon entry we were welcomed by the happiest man behind the counter, who offered a wide array of Vietnamese dishes with suggestions and their popular dishes. Ended up going with the chicken salad (I think was hoisin chicken) which was fresh, light and perfect for a hot day. Prices were very reasonable considering the sizing of dishes and quality of food. Definitely recommend supporting this business if your around the area and not sure what to eat!

Wow, it's amazing to get such a good Vietnamese restaurant in the middle of the city. The banh mi was really crisp, saucy and tasty and was perfect for a quick bite while in the city. The owner was very humble and friendly to us and helped us pick an option. They have so much variety in the food and the whole atmosphere was very nice and modern even though it was in a historical building. Definitely returning again :)

I have had their vegan beef bánh mì multiple times, and it is just so delicious! I could literally eat it every day. It is also heartwarming to know that behind the business there are really nice people who care about their customers. Amazing! Delicious traditional and modern style banh mi. Really flavourful and fresh. So much love and care goes into the preparation of these rolls, from baking the bread to pickling the carrots and marinating meats. The owner spends a lot of time creating and developing new fillings too. Heaps of vegan options are available too (not just vegetables with no meat/tofu) they have house made vegan Philly cheese steak, beef rendang, "chicken" and "pork" options. Service is really fast and friendly. I've always had great experiences eating here.

Best Bahn Mi! As someone with a vegan partner can confidently say that they have AMAZING vegan options as well! Highly recommend the vegan pork bahn mi when it's available, I may even prefer it to the real pork and I have no qualms eating either so that's saying something!

Decent Bahn Mi, a bit on the pricey side but the amount of ingredients they put in the crispy baguette is fair enough. Tried the original & roast pork ones. Hope the roast pork one had more sauce in it so that it doesn’t feel so dry & kinda lacking the taste. Would be back to try the others though.

Seriously the Best Banh Mi in Perth. They have so many other options as well. I’m a full blown meat lover, but when you try the other vegetarian or vegan options, you’d actually question if they’re just putting real meat in there. It’s that good. Don’t cut them short on other options like their steamed buns and patties, they are just as commendable. Oh and yes, the Vietnamese coffee, that’ll wake you up! So good! Last but not least, the service, they simply go to the moon and back for you. What a gem! I’d probably be here so often throughout the week if I live anywhere close by. There’s always a line here for a reason, but they’re so quick to serve, so don’t worry. If that still gets to you, there’s another shop in Yagan Square.

The best Bahn Mi in Perth and my favourite food establishment in the whole of Perth. The owner must have an amazing passion for great food with great service because it's always the best food. We order mostly through Uber Eats to our workplace on Victoria Ave and it's so quick that most of the time you get a shock when the delivery arrives. Always fresh buns and fresh ingredients, put together with the perfect amount of everything. So tasty and healthy it is a great lunch option if you looking for food in the city. Don't go anywhere else for Bahn Mi and even if you haven't had before this place will.make you love the Bahn Mi. We have converted a lot of colleges to love this place with us as well. Just want to thank all the staff and the owner/management team, if any of them see this review you guys do an amazing job and keep up the great work!!

Stop reading the reviews and just COME to this restaurant! It has to be one, if not the best Banh Mi I have ever had! There’s also a huge range, so you’ll never get bored. I met the owner, Lee, who actually went to Paris to learn from traditional Banh Mi masters to craft these amazing rolls of yum! I ate one, and then I had to get another to go!

Best place for banh mi in Perth - (quite possibly also worldwide). So many vegan options and Lee and Emily are constantly thinking up new and inventive things for the menu. Everything is always fresh and flavourful. Even though they’re not vegan they do vegan food even better than vegan eateries. They are also the most down to earth couple ever. They remember you and your order, even when you haven’t been there for a long time and treat you like you’re family :) I’d eat there everyday if I could!!

Got an uber order from them and uber crashed before I could leave a review . Rolls are legit some of the best I've had. The puff pastry snack was super tasty and I really like that they have a lot of vegan options . I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in trying a traditional or derivative of a bahn mi roll. Not only was it tasty and quick but I got a lovely note saying thank you on a vegan bun which is super sweet. Keep it up and I'm looking forward to coming into the store.

Very average Banh Mi, contrarily to the reviews on here. Above average pricing at $11 and not using real crackling, just cracklings chips! Bit deceiving, still looking for a place in Perth that do good ones. Staff was very friendly though. EDIT - Hi Lee, thanks for your response. Your pork crackling explanation makes more sense now; it’s not just a cost-saving move (although in all honesty it still tastes like store-bought ones to me). Will drop by again for another try the next time I’m in the CBD.

Le Vietnam does the best Banh Mi rolls in Perth - nothing comes close. If you think otherwise, well, I’m sorry old chum - you are flat out wrong! Bread is always fresh, and the ingredients are always top quality. I’ve been coming back consistently about once a week for a couple of years, and have never had a bad meal / experience. Highly recommend trying out the salads if you’re looking for a healthier alternative or can’t / don’t eat bread. Lee is a true master of his art - the Picasso of Banh Mi.

Le Vietnam is arguably Perth's best banh mi joint. Service is efficient and fast despite being busy for most of the day. Staff is very friendly. Recent renovations to a more modern design now allows for more dine in. Whether you're dinning in or getting takeaway, the food quality remains nothing short of exceptional. I always get the original 3 meat banh mi with chilli and it never disappoints. There's generous amount of meat coupled with the perfect amount of veggies. The bread is buttered and lightly toasted, just enough to give you some crunch with every bite, without cutting the roof of your mouth. To add to the mouth watering experience, there is just enough sauce to keep it nice and moist. The price is just right and for the quality you get, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

A little food gem in the middle of barrack st between hay st and Murray st malls. The service was prompt and happy. The man allowed me to mix up my roll of smashed avocado with spicy tofu. It was all doable and he was happy to oblige. The great thing about ‘Le VIetnam’ apart from the delicious fresh rolls are the cute little tables you can sit at at the front with a wee umbrella so on hot days you are not melting. My roll of smashed avocado and spicy tofu which I added was delicious the bread was freshly baked and crispy the cucumber was fresh the crispy tofu bits on top nice and crunchy all excellent so far.

Expensive, but not unexpectedly so. Some of the best tourism meets fine dining in Perth. Every visitor to Perth should attempt to grab a lunch or dinner seat here it's always a delightful experience. Expect to spend an hour or two over any meal to really enjoy how the restaurant rotates. I loved the gnocchi which I never usually do and dessert (the sorbet plate) was astounding. Book in advance and enjoy.

This review concerns the new outlet at Yagan Square. It draws inspiration from Hoi An in Vietnam where there's an emphasis on grilled meats. I liked the traditional grilled pork banh mi. The meat was juicy. The Hanoi beer went well with it. It was opening time on Saturday so there was plenty of space. Service was friendly.

Had a quick takeaway crackling pork Bahn mi. It was really good, using fresh produce very generously. However, not worth 5 stars in my opinion for a few reasons:There wasn’t enough sauce in the Bahn mi, too many bites felt dry as I was eating mostly bread. The Vietnamese kitchen has so much to offer and I would have loved to see a pho on the menu or some beef sandwiches (they only offer vegetarian chicken or pork). Great response from the owner to this review made me change it to 5 stars. Amazing service, well done!

Amazing food with an awesome crew. The usual offerings but they also have many vegan options. They do specials so check out their social media pages. Note: do not check it out when you are hungry though as it is drool worthy. If you don't want to deal with the queue (worth it though) they also do uber eats which is handy for those who don't work in the CBD.

Man i love this place. The Manager (owner?) is super friendly and quick with advice shpuld you need it. The Banh mi is delicious. Best ive had outside Vietnam. I literally go out of my way to get lunch here. Gets super packed but even so, the wait for the food was 3 minutes (timed it lol) so not bad at all. Seating is an issue...as there isnt enough of it, but you can take away easy enough. Price is on point (for Perth) and i dont mind paying what it costs for the deliciousness. Their Vietnamese coffee is great, and surprisingly, their espresso coffee is legit the best ive had probably in Perth. All in all, if i could eat this all day everyday, i would!!

If you haven't been to le Vietnam yet you're missing out. The staff are the friendliest I've experienced in Perth and make you feel so welcome. My go to order is the avocado bahn mi. It's so fresh and tasty. (Minus coriander and chilli) They have a great vegan menu, including some faux meat. They also do vegan "pork" buns . Be prepared to get crumbs everywhere, these are seriously crumbly rolls.

Just dropped by for a late lunch and was greeted by the fantastic owner who recommended the classic bahn-mi. The food is gorgeous and the portion size just about perfect. These guys have some of the best customer service I've experienced at this level of dining...they care. The menu has a wide variety and has different options regularly, but I go for the vegan menu. I loved the bbq enoki mushroom bahn mee, the umami was at a satisfyingly high level and the crispy vegan " speck" with a chilli jam of some sort, with fresh coriander, took me back to china town in a far away town. Mmm flavor memories. My daughter loves the steamed dumplings, bao. So nice to have vegan options!! The iced Vietnamese coffee was.good too. Kudos to Lee and his partner Emily for serving such good authentic banh mi. They provide top service too, starting from the phone conversation right down to the friendly chats. We shall return.
