New Year's Eve dinner: Courteously called to ask if we'd like online booking brought forward as was closing 9.30pm. The waitstaff are true professionals--we were greeted immediately on arrival as well as when leaving.They anticipated needs as well as being timely and knowledgeable. Food was delicious and plentiful,wines and drinks well priced. 5 stars for what an Italian restaurant experience should be.

A lovely little restaurant, food has always been good and consistent and the staff are attentive and friendly and it's reasonably priced, what else could you ask for? (Excuse the messy plate of pasta as I forgot to take a picture 😅)

This fired pizza is actually good, it would have absolutely loved it of it had some more cheese as a filling and they had tabasco sauce. I should try the chicken pizza next but it isn't possible for one person like me to eat the whole chicken pizza in one go. So a slice options would be a great addon.

Very solid 4 out of 5; I highly recommend eating here if you have not done so before. The food pricing is about average for a restaurant like this, but the quality is quite consistent and very good. I wouldn't recommend it for people who like their food on the low salt side, but otherwise their food is very delicious and comes in decent portions. Service is friendly, with the waiter touching base throughout the night; our table water also was replenished just before it ran out.

Had an absolutely wonderful birthday dinner here for my sister! Food was great, portions were generous and I highly recommend the 4 cheese gnocchi. Top notch service, the manager made our night extra special with a happy birthday song and some complimentary shots of limoncello. The staff overall were very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming, though it can be a little on the loud side.

Went here the other day and it was amazing. Chose this place which we have never been to before for my mums birthday and it was a great choice. Service was great!!! It took a little while to get the food but it was worth the small wait. It was fresh and very authentic. As Italians we loved it and will definitely come back. We got the muscles and a couple different pasta’s. We recommend the muscles and gnocchi. Recommend 💯 thank you so much to the staff who were lovely

Great place to eat and friendly service! I was sceptical at first when the waiter made a few detours around our table to check that we were eating, he said “I like that pizza it was really good do you like it?” For real. We had not really had this one on one experience with a waiter while we dined at a restaurant so we awkwardly said “Yes...” but soon we loosened up a little although we were the only ones there at the time. Maybe that’s the Italian way of greeting and good etiquette, I’m not sure. But anyway there was great food and I recommend the garlic bread as an entree with the Margherita.

Delicious food and great service! I was dining alone and the host was very gracious allowing me to order a half salad with my meal. Authentic Southern Italian food. Plenty of options on the menu. Vegetarian pizza tasted healthy, minimal salt used. Attentive table service. Dated decor and small interior. Tirimisu dessert lacked coffee flavour, tasted mostly of fresh cream. Nutella doughnut dessert was delicious.

Amazing experience! Due to a recent surgery I'm on a strict liquid diet, so I asked the waiter if there were any soup based items on the menu that I could pick at. The chef made me a pumpkin soup instead! Really, really friendly, could not recommend enough. 5/5 stars 🌟

This place has great food and very friendly staff. It was good for family dining but there were also lots of couples and adult groups around. The price is not unreasonable for the quality of the food. One small thing to note is that the cooking smell will remain on your clothes so leave coats and jumpers in the car if you can.

Highly recommend the restaurant. We had booked accommodation in the hotel above and walked past the restaurant a couple times. The smells' that emanated were out of this world. Suffice to say, come Friday night, we decided to go see what it was all about. The staff were extremely friendly and vibrant and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious. The Carbonara pasta was one of the best pasta I have ever had.

This is a place I've been wanting to visit for months. The restaurant is pretty small, but cozy. Thursday evening, and it's bustling with people. There were 3 wait staff in total and they were really efficient - at no point did I feel like I was waiting for my food; it arrived just on time. My food was great, I had the Funghi Aranchini and the Prawn & Zucchini Pasta. I did at first feel that perhaps the pasta was ever so slightly undercooked but it got better with time, so it didn't bother me. Overall, a great experience and I'd definitely visit again. Goes to show that you can make a wonderful place out of such a small space!

Accidentally found this place while looking for take away pasta in the East Perth area. We were very pleasantly surprised by the amazing quality and taste of the food. Love Love Love Maruzzella Italian restorante in East Perth, this is my go to place for a chilled experience and ABSOLUTELY AMAZING food. Dined here 3 times now and honestly can not fault it, great food cooked to perfection, great atmosphere, friendly waitstaff and a Lovely owner/chef who makes an effort to come out n greet his customers with a genuine smile and allows me to park in the under cover area to make it easy for my 80 yr old mother. Stayed around the area for a few days, came around to try this Italian restaurant. It is unarguably one of the, if not the best pizza and pasta I've ever eaten in my life. Went here twice during my four days of stay, ordered margherita pizza, buffalo margherita, spaghetti gambero zucchine, and fettucine meatball. Owners were absolutely friendly, we got complementary "cocktails" from them just the night before we took off from the area. Turns out I don't need to go to Italy to enjoy such quality of Italian cuisine.

5 ⭐️..Fabulous!!!the best pasta& pizza in Perth❤️Last week we went there for birthday party and we was 100% satisfied.we tried chef special dish fried quail and it was absolutely mouth watering .oh !!yeah I must say Gnocchi and pasta was flavourful too. Pizza 🍕 great quality toppings and combinations, but the dough is probably the best part, and it’s wood fired, like a proper Italian pizza is supposed to be! Service is good too, in a cosy and relaxed environment. We’ll come back again & again.

Around 16 of us went for the first time for my husbands birthday and everything was perfect from the moment we stepped in. Very welcoming, great and funny customer service. Even though there was a lot of us and the restaurant was full on a Saturday night, there wasn’t a long waiting time and no mistakes in our orders either... from the extra chilli to no ice! Wow! My sister and I came here this evening. She has been a few times but this was my first time. We ordered a margarita pizza to share and a gnocchi and lamb ragu. The food was amazing. The tomato based sauce on the pizza and in the pasta is really nice, very fresh and tastes homemade. This is probably the best Italian I’ve had in Perth. Staff were friendly but not overly intrusive and I loved the cosy atmosphere. Perfect for a date or small get-together. Thank you for a great experience guys, will definitely be back 👌🏻

We had the Arancini Balls and a Diavola Pizza. Both were very tasty and the pizza base had a lot of flavour with a nice wood smoked effect. The staff were lovely and efficient. It's quite a small venue, so it might be worthwhile to book before you come. We've had 3 pizza in Perth so far, and this was definitely the best. If we had more time in Perth we would revisit, as some of the meals coming out of the kitchen looked superb.

Very cosy venue, a bit of noise due to the hard floor and glass, but that is common these days. Sitting near the kitchen can result in some strong aromas at different times, but the food is definitely fresh. I was there in a group of 8, all the meals were very good, with the gnocchi bring the crowd favourite. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, all around it was an excellent night with great food. Price was very reasonable as well.

We have waited at least 40 mins on the Saturday night. It’s very small place and the wood fire is at the corner of the restaurant so it’s really warm in a summer night.... pizzas were great, my prawn pasta was okay coz the prawns were over cooked so quite tough. Friendly staff. Good location.

Food is tasty, authentic and not your usual run of the mill Italian restaurant menu. They do it well there and reasonably priced too. Pizza dough there is amazing. Crispy yet fluffy with good cheese. Pasta are cooked Al dente. Ingredients imported from Italy so you can be assured of quality and consistency. They have a Xmas special lunch menu and set menu which look tantalisingly good. Will definitely be back!

Food was good. 3 pizzas and 2 pastas were enough to go around for a sumptuous dinner. Had our first meal in Perth at this spot. Noticed the glasses were ABIT dusty only after we poured our drinks. I don’t to come to Perth that often but when I do I like to go to the Italian cafe around the corner from my hotel. It was closed tonight so I though I would be adventurous and try a new place. There was nothing very wrong my food or my experience but by the same token nothing I had would make me return. My pizza (Diavola) arrived before my wine. Both ordered at the same time. The pizza dough was a little burnt on the base (which I don’t mind) but under done under the topping. And overall I would say it was just ok. Sorry to the owner, I don’t like being a downer But there is room to improve.

I would like to give 5 stars for the food and frindly staffs. But, only one thing, the management are so bad. They are doing Ubereats, take away service and dine-in service all together on the busy night with only 2 front staffs. It looked crazy.

What a great place and atmosphere!! I have been at Maruzzella many times,never disappointed me with its vibe,atmosphere,warm greeting and welcoming Italian style.The best in my opinion you could ever find.The whole Italian team will look after you,makes you feel good and like your own home. We had the Rustica pizza to take away... may I just say, wow. The tomatoes were warm however not mushy. The prosciutto was tender. The rocket was present in what must be a thoughtful amount. The buffalo mozzarella was stringy just so, not rubbery or at any loss of flavour. The Napoli sauce was robust and flavourful. The crust was... just divine. Given it was combined with authentic Italian service, I would certainly recommend to my dearest of friends and neighbours. Happy days.

The Gluten free pizza tastes as good as I remember normal pizza from my childhood in Roma Italia! Despite the GF pizza being cooked in the same oven as normal pizzas I had no Ill effects, the chef was very aware of coeliac disease and made a point of reminding me of the possible cross contamination when the pizza was finished cooking
