Arrived without a booking and was not able to order from the lunch menu (so book ahead!). We instead had the grazing menu and what we did order was delicious, so no complaints. Only regrets that we did not get to partake the mains. Lots of insta-worthy spots around so don't forget to snap some pics!

Delicious meal at a beautiful venue, no wonder they have so many weddings here! We all thought the coffee was great, the food even better with each meal being to our own taste. I had the Turkish eggs which was accompanied with a savoury Greek yoghurt (Labne) which was spicier than I thought but still delicious. The wood fired bread is also a fan favourite. We also ordered a squid to share as on a previous visit, we thought the squid was delightful. Like last time, the squid was covered in the lightest batter, accompanied with sweet pineapple, tangy chilly and lime which we loved as a side. At the end the bill was very reasonable for an indulgent brunch. Service staff are also lovely and efficient.

Stunning venue & delicious meals shared with friends in May 2021. We were very fortunate to get a booking whilst in MRiver in 2022. So relieved the farmhouse (& precious animals) were spared from the recent fire. Wonderful hard working staff👏🏻⭐️

Couldn’t recommend it highly enough- everything we ordered was delicious, the carpaccio, squid, mains and cocktails were all impeccable, our waiter was very friendly and considerate. Such a gem!!! So devastating to see the damage caused by the bushfires, but thankful that we were able to still have a delicious lunch at this beautiful place. What a lovely, relaxed outdoor environment! So fun to see all the animals, including the sweet lab walking around. We loved listening to the live music as well. I had the squid ink linguini and it was honestly one of the most delicious pasta dishes I have ever had, with a great serving size too. My husband had the gnocchi which was light and tasty, 'nothing fancy' but well flavoured- lots of mushrooms! Overall one of our favourite dining experiences while down south.

I took my group of 16 to meelup farmhouse for lunch for my 30th and the whole place is so CUTE and quaint, we got to see chickens, alpacas, a cow and a cute dog! All our food was delicious and it was hard to choose. Loved every meal; I got the scallops 👌 carpaccio 👌 and squid ink linguini and YUM. Perhaps the best cocktail I’ve ever tasted: getting figgy. Wish I could re create it myself. Definitely glad we chose this place for lunch!

Really fantastic lunch. When we arrived we asked if we could add 2 adults and an infant to our table. The staff sorted it without an issue. Then there was ordering, which turned into chaos with some people wanting to share and others wanting their own meal. Again, the staff received our orders without an issue. Orders were delivered to the table amazingly quickly (especially given how busy Meelup was). The food was excellent and really well presented. Amazing job by the waitstaff and management to deliver a great service during a really busy period.

Unfortunately I can't give 7 stars here but would if I could. Amazing location, view and ambience. Food and drinks awesome and tasty. Yet by far, what stood out to me was the service. Working in Customer Service myself I'm always sensitive to it. Were served by a very helpful funny down to earth girl named Kylie. Could not thank her enough for the welcome she gave us. Will definitely be back once we get back down south again.

We had a lovely lunch at Meelup Farmhouse, and the food was all amazing (absolutely no complaints) and so was their wine & cocktails, of which there are plenty to choose from. We really loved the vibe of the place, as it feels welcoming to lots of different people, including lots of kids and families. Have tried to get into Meelup farmhouse on numerous occasions and finally managed to get a booking for lunch on Monday, the service was fabulous a lovely French women served us. The food was great and lovely atmosphere. Can recommend the squid, the cured salmon, the sweet potato salad and the duck. A little disappointed in the scallops. The girls had a couple of very nice cocktails and the boys tried out a gin tasting which was a good intro to Wise gins. We thought the prices were reasonable. Look forward to our next visit.

Great food. Really good service. Would have easily given 5 stars except the flies were outrageous. Unable to enjoy the experience because of being swarmed by flying bush sultanas trying to crawl in your eyes, up your nose and in your mouth. Not the Farmhouse's fault but it comprehensively detracted from an otherwise great venue.

We visited Meelup Farmhouse on a recommendation and from seeing the great reviews online. Although the ambience is lovely, the staff are friendly and there are gorgeous farm animals to visit - our breakfast/brunch didn’t hit the mark. The orange + poppy seed pancakes look so impressive but unfortunately tasted very dry and we left a large portion uneaten. The scrambled eggs were not as silky as we would have liked. The sweet potato flat bread with a variety of vegetables was nice. We’re curious whether the lunch menu would have been more to our liking, or whether we visited with our expectations too high.

Book ahead! There were several people who arrived at the same time as us and did not, and they were either turned away or had to sit by the bar (in the sun) and wait at least an hour. The mushrooms and gnocchi is incredible. The rest of the menu is probably excellent too, but we both got the gnocchi because last time we were here, I made the mistake of getting something else. I don't even like mushrooms!

We rocked up without a booking but they managed to accommodate us, we actually ended up getting the best seats in the house (the cottage). We really enjoyed a lovely lunch for a large family celebration of 18 plus 4 little ones. The staff were friendly and accommodating and more than happy to assist in any way possibly. We appreciated that they thought ahead and reserved us some lounges out on the lawn and set us up with umbrellas for shade to enjoy our dessert and cheeseboards. My husband and I recently got married at the beautiful Meelup Farmhouse. Our whole experience from our first viewing of the venue in November 2020 to our wedding day in November 2021 could not have been more perfect. Anneliese was our focal point and is second to none; helpful, kind and had an answer to every question, making the whole experience a blissful breeze. We could not have asked for a better person to help us coordinate the best day of our lives, she truly is one in a million. The staff at Meelup farmhouse have always been exceptional, whether we are there for a drink or there for a full meal, they are always prompt, helpful, professional and easy going. We specifically want to thank Harper & Luca for their kind and warm service on our wedding day, our family and friends could not stop talking about the two of you, we cannot thank you both enough! As well as Phoebe, thank you for ensuring our reception ran smoothly throughout the night, your amazing! All in all, Meelup is a dream venue. Its relaxed yet sheik vibe is absolutely breathtaking, the white, sage and light wood colour palette is insanely aesthetically pleasing, there is no place quite like it. And since holding our wedding there, Meelup Farmhouse now holds an incredibly special place in our hearts, whenever we are down south we will be making a conscious effort to visit this stunning venue. It is a total must if you're in the south west.

As soon as you make your way to reception then atmosphere is incredible !! All the staff speak excellent English and the level of customer service is by far the most friendly and professional I have encountered in quite some time. The options on the menu is excellent there’s enough to cater every need but not too full on to the point of it being a novel. When our food arrived we honestly couldn’t leave any leftovers it was too good to waste. Thank you Meelup looking forward to returning next time I’m down this way.

Had a pleasant meal with friends. There were four of us in our party and I could only get a booking for 2pm, which was not a problem for us. We arrived and it was busy, unfortunately our table was not ready as it was such a lovely day out, I think the first sitting did not want to leave. We had to wait about 10 mins, and it got sorted and we got our table. The wait was not a problem and was dealt with in a good manner. The beers and wine were lovely and the food was great. Two Duck curry's, a Poke bowl and a Pate. My partner is still talking about the flavours of the curry . My Poke bowl was great. I would highly recommend Meelup. It is a lovely venue, couches on the lawn, some lovely live music. A really great Sunday lunch. A tip, bring a scarf, wrap, of jumper, as when the breeze does blow, it can get a bit nippy.

Meelup Farmhouse is a beautiful setting in the bush. They are very lucky to be unaffected by the recent bush fires.The gum trees were putting on a lovely display of flowers in February. The food was delicious, the staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Lovely lunch, friendly staff and very relaxing…However, with regards to the current COVIDSafe laws, it was very busy and well packed. When we first arrived nobody checked that we had actually ‘checked’ in and nobody asked us for our proof of vaccine … plus when people vacated their tables and plates were cleared by waitstaff, tables were not sanitised prior to next seating. This I found quite disturbing given the current situation in WA. We have been to a few places down South this week and every other cafe/restaurant/winery etc have all been compliant with the checkin and checking of vaccine status as well as table sanitation between seating’s. Still, delicious food and very lovely grounds.

Mind blowingly superb food - had the pork belly and a range of sides plus 2 cocktails. The grounds and restaurant area are stunning. If you decide to sit on the grass, you're given a big blanket to sit on and mini picnic table trays. We were so impressed by the helpfulness of the staff when we needed to shift to find more shade (had a bub and a dog with us). Even during a busy Saturday lunch rush they offered to help us move everything.. and our order came out within 15mins of us ordering! Can't wait to come back.

The place overall is beautiful and the lady taking orders at the bar was very helpful. Food came out quick but the pancakes were too much/a bit dry - would be nice with a side of cream or more sauce. COMPLETELY WORTH THE HYPE! I made a pre booking for Meelup Farmhouse after hearing multiple good things about it. Beautiful setting, warm,friendly professional staff (and there were plenty of staff about on a busy Saturday which was good to see) Fresh local produce, amazing cocktails, food was great. My only advice would be make sure you make a reservation as it gets very busy, especially on a weekend.

Customer service at its greatest! If you want to be “wined and dined” this is it! Beautiful gardens and seating. Busy in peak season. Ask for a picnic rug and basket and there’s plenty of space if the tables are full. It is on the more expensive side and it’s the expense you go for.

We had a wonderful breakfast here this morning and could not have had a better experience, it was the highlight of our weekend! The place was absolutely beautiful, we loved seeing the animals and the chickens were soooo cute and were obviously super used to humans, could even give them a little pat! The service was absolutely amazing, the staff were ALL so friendly and attentive, I asked for a few changes to my meal which was no problem at all! The drinks and food arrived super fast and was just absolutely delicious, fresh and cooked to perfection. The pink juice was amazinggg. Easily one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had! It’s so nice to go to a place where you feel so welcome. The owners should be so proud of what they’ve created and how wonderful their staff are. We can’t wait to come back again!! :)

LOVE IT! Beautiful place for lunch, gorgeous grounds, you just chill as soon as you arrive. Room for large parties, space on the lawn, romantic little oudoor spots, just beautiful. Happy chickens, roaming alpacas (and a cow apparently which we didn't see) and of course a sweet chocolate lab, Mila who does the rounds around the table to ensure all the guests are happy. Food was 5 STAR! My only negative feedback was the booking system was a bit prohibitive when trying to book a large group and it was hard to get hold of someone on the phone, but they do call back if you leave a message - I understand staffing is an issue everywhere - they did try really hard. Persist, it is worth it!

Never a bad experience when I eat here. Highly recommended to anyone looking for breakfast/ brunch/lunch. Set on beautiful hilly bushland just outside Dunsborough township, Meelup Farmhouse offers up fresh local produce with their modern take on traditional dishes. Orange and Poppyseed Pancakes are a personal favourite followed closely by their Eggs Benedict with wood fired Salmon. They have some lovely farm animals around the large property that you can easily interact with which also makes this a fantastic place to bring the whole family. You should do yourself a favour when in the area and eat here because it will be a dining experience you won't forget.

Meelup Farmhouse has created the perfect aesthetic for tourists in the southwest. It is set in a beautiful location in a very nicely designed building. The farm animals are cute and add to the overall experience. The breakfast food was solid without being amazing. The service was great however the waiting times were lengthy. Overall it was a great dining experience.

The location combines country farm-feel with modern beach resort vibes, where you'll meet free roaming chickens, alpacas, cows and the local farm dog. Meelup farmhouse is one of the places that I've been wanting to try. We tried Eggs benedict - Atlantic salmon, hollandaise, sourdough vegetarian farmhouse - halloumi, avocado, free-range eggs, cherry tomatoes, potato gratin, kale, sourdough. From casual wining and dining to hosting our wedding at Meelup Farmhouse no detail has ever been missed. Their beautiful venue is taken to new levels with their exquisite service from staff who are so happy and willing to accomodate. Anneliese who is the event coordinator was the most attentive, detail orientated and phenomenal person to work with for our special day. To pull off a 170 person wedding with welcome drinks, ceremony cocktails, canapés, oyster shucker which then lead into a 3 course seated menu was absolutely incredible. Not to mention how utterly divine the food and drinks actually were to consume. The kitchen and service staff were praised from all our guests. If you are ever contemplating hosting a special event at this venue, don’t spare another moment hesitating - you will not be disappointed. Interesting experience- lovely setting and the service was good, plus we got a table on a public holiday without a booking. but the eggs Benedict with salmon came with bacon instead - apparently you can choose to have bacon but the menu clearly says salmon so we sent it back. The gnocci was delicious, as were the cocktails, but the iced chai was a let down. I received a glass of milk, with ice cubes, and a small spoon of chai powder floating on top. The powder wouldn't dissolve/mix in so it may as well have been a glass of watery milk. It is not hard to dissolve the powder before adding it, and we were a little surprised considering the standard of everything else. Overall though this is an amazing spot for lunch, with very friendly staff.

Booked a table in the restaurant for my husband’s birthday and told them we had a small dog with us. When we arrived and shown to our table we were then told we couldn’t have dog with us because the owners dog is allowed to wander around but our dog had to be left outside. If we had know this we may of not bothered. Eventually we opted for a table on the lawn and it was a beautiful setting but no table service out there would had to keep going to the bar to place our orders not what I had in mind for a special occasion. Staff were lovely and so was the service such as it was but the food a little disappointing. I think my 3 stars is fairly generous. We had a wonderful family brunch/early lunch here last Friday. The venue is idyllic and the food and wine selection was superb. The venison chorizo was a standout and the orange pancakes looked divine. The staff were also very helpful accommodating for dietary requirements, namely my Coeliac disease. The only reason this place loses a star is due to what I perceive as inexperience in some of the waitstaff. Some hospitality no-no’s like starting to clear plates before the whole table is finished and also taking a 1/4 full wine glass off the table could be improved. Will definitely stop by for another visit though when I’m next in town (if I can get a booking!)

This is a very, very pleasant space, tables on the large covered deck overlooking lawns, trees and farmland. We had the heirloom tomatoes, whole roast chicken and steamed greens, followed by chocolate espresso hazelnut cake, berry almond cake and a very good flat white. Service is charming, the food is good (huge servings, perhaps offer a half a chook for couples), and we will definitely be back. Recommended.

The pork belly came with 6 slices and there was no crackle so there was just this layer of fat on all the pieces. Rarely see pork belly done this way- especially at a decent restaurant. The salad was overpriced at $12 for a few measly bits of pear and a tonne of rocket. We didn't stick around. For us not up to the standard perpetuated on the google reviews...

Cute place to go with the family, there are chickens, llamas and a cow all roaming and you can go look at. It feels like entering a family holiday place where you get fine dining as well. Plenty grass so you can bring a picnic blanket and still order your beers. Just bring a hat as all the out door dining areas get heavy sun exposure. I don't recommend if you're planning to eat lunch here and it's over 25 degrees as you will certainly struggle in the outdoor seating area with the heat and nowhere to hide...
