The customer service was great, the staff were really friendly. I love the idea that they provide you with gloves to eat the fried chicken. I enjoyed their their cheesy snow chicken. We also ordered their garlic chicken, soy chicken and spicy chicken. They were average. It was a nice experience overall but I wouldn't go back as the flavours of the Korean fried chicken didn't match to other places that I've been before

I tried Nene’s Chicken today for the first time! Flop show!! I am not going back!! Just 2 options in wraps and burgers and one of which Kimchi was out of stock. The wrap was such disappointment for the price.. just a single chicken strip with lettuce n meagrely drizzled sauce in a cheap coles bought wrap. The rice meal came with 4 bite size pieces of chicken again the quantity of chicken was meagre for the price paid (why display big sized meal in pictures?) Also, the chicken tasted awful and had flavour of fish oil… not convinced it is a chicken speciality store… had to eat potato to suffice. Asked for Chilli Mayo fries was served Cheesy fries… enough reasons to disappoint .. so not worth the price!

We ordered wingettes and drumettes with the 'freakin hot' sauce with a side of coleslaw and chips. As the name suggests - it was after all freakin hot but enjoyable! The fries were fresh and crispy and seasoning was to perfection. Went there on a Saturday night and there were alot of other people enjoying their chicken and beers. Has a very friendly atmosphere. And has disposable sanitary gloves to eat your chicken with and bags to dispose the bones. The chicken here is Halal certified.

Awesome place to get your mouth watering deep fried chicken along with variety of sauce. Great customer service and you don't have to wait much longer. They just offers you a fresh range of deep fried chicken with a maximum waiting time of 15-20 minutes.

Lip smacking fried chicken, if you really want your taste buds to open up, this is the place to be. Located on James in Northbridge. Try the spicy chicken and goes well with a pint of cold beer.

Great place to hang out with friends, dishes are tasty especially original fried chicken. The tornado potato can be improved, service is also great, there are plastic gloves available so our hands wont get dirty. Tap water is available, just ask the waitress. There are also some spicy dishes. Tacos and burgers are great too. Location is strategic, near the street, people can see easily. I would rate it 8/10. Great food for children too

Love Nene Chicken!! If you haven't been try the swicy which is half sweet half spicy.. Best mix or the Lemon chicken.. Need more outlets thou.. Nothing close to North East side like Morley Midland Ellenbrook areas

chicken was nice, serving was a bit small. tiny bit of kimchi, it's like a teaspoon! i wouldn't say this is great value, maybe good for a snack with some beers. you get a 1.25L drink with a large combo, i was surprised!

The best one to try here is snowing chilli chicken . I can't tell you enough how good it is. I even get the extra seasoning this time. Service is really good. In this day and labor shortage can't complain about the wait and small things. I love both dine in and takeaway here. Awesome food. Good job Nene team

I've been here before, food was really good then. This visit perhaps they were under staffed as we waited just over 20 minutes for our order. I don't mind waiting for fresh food as long as its well prepared. This time the flavour was good but food came to us barely warm and the portion size was considerably smaller than before. I still enjoy Nene's chicken however my preferred store would be Vic Park. Northbridge store would be a last resort when I can't be bothered driving that extra 10 minutes.

Love this place, has chicken that is hot enough for me, has the Korean alcoholic beverage that I like. Advise that you use the gloves provided, otherwise you'll have really sticky fingers. I made the mistake the first time, grab a pair just in case. Thought I wouldn't need them. I was do wrong. It's really tasty, eat in or take away. I recommend it, for a quick bite. Not all is spicy

One of my favorite restaurant. I mostly love my experience and the food here. One time, one of the staff were busy chatting inside the kitchen and I have to wait for quite a while until he can take my order. Another time on the busy weekend, I ordered the same menu. The taste was not as good as usual. So my conclusion is: It’s better to eat here on weekdays.

The soft serve was the winner! Its so soft, and so worth $3.50 for extra oreo crumble on it. But the boneless chicken was disappointing. The chicken size was so small and not worth for $35. The chicken size was so small like popcorn chicken, so dry and so chewy, not crispy. Hard to chew. If its not because we were craving of it, we probably will throw ot because it was so chewy. But the sauce taste okay. We bought swicy and bulgogi. Paper bag for 50c and they gave free mini coleslaw and diced pickle radish. When i first tried NeNe in Brisbane, QLD, it was impressive even a bit pricey, but worth it. But not with today's experience.

Was busy as soon as we entered the shop, but the staff didn’t keep us waiting for long, and in such busy time she still patiently introduced all different flavours and her suggestion for the day. The Chicken and fries were all freshly fried ,it was definitely a pleasant lunch for Saturday!

I wanted beer and chicken and this place did not disappoint. Spicy fury was a hit as was their original wings and nice cheesy chicken. Take a swig of the cold Korean beer. Delicious Korean fried chicken. Big portion sizes. They provide plastic gloves. Garlic chicken is fantastic but powerful - take some mints for afterwards. Sapporo for $9.50 a pint isn't too bad either?

This was such a great experience. We came here for a bit of takeaway and while we were waiting we grabbed a few beers on tap which were fantastic. The manager was great and switched out the keg for us and topped up our beers and stayed for a chat while we finished. Wonderful staff and very patient.

I've had Nene Chicken elsewhere in Perth and also in South Korea. It's authentic and very tasty. Service is reasonably efficient, you pay when you order and your food and drink is brought to you. There is an interesting range of chicken, sauces, and sides to meet most tastes. A variety of alcoholic and soft drinks is available but I was disappointed that it dud not have Korean beer. It offered Japanese beer, Kirin from memory, which is all right but I would have liked Cass or Hite from Korea. Soju is available too. Credit cards accepted and there is paid parking around.

I didn't know about this place until very recently. Got taken here by a friend of mine who ordered a half and half meal of bulgogi chicken and raining cheese chicken. I have been back numerous times since. It's amazing food and very very tasty. It's something slightly different and I love this. Reminds me of a better quality KFC style product.

Nene Chicken Northbridge is located in Chinatown in the Perth CBD. Nene is a Korean chicken restaurant serving the best chicken. The chicken is nice and small to eat and the flavours are perfect. The problem is the amount of plastic produced. Unnecessary gloves to keep your hand from not being sticky is unacceptable. Another problem is that the opening hours are only during Fridays and Saturdays. The staff are very polite and friendly, but the wait for your order is so long. On the bright side, the store is very clean and they serve MATCHA soft serve ice-cream. Overall, this was a good result, but a few tweaks and this restaurant will be awesome.

while i remember enjoying nene chicken a lot about a year ago, my final experience was disappointing. Might’ve changed management? Not too sure, but the wait time was RIDCULOUS for quiet time at 3:30pm. I was waiting over half hour for takeway for one, while uber eats came and went before me. There was one person behind counter so seems like they were shortstaffed on New Years day since multiple tables weren’t cleaned up and wiped away. Shame, chicken is decent, but service a real let down.
