The food here is excellent. Despite being Modern Australian, there's a bit of flair to the food that makes it different and worth the venture to this place. The tandoori chicken and garlic prawns were fantastic. And it is very rare to find a dining place which does not overpower the room with music - Nolsi keeps the atmosphere quiet and calm for their customers to have their meals in peace and with good company. Their service is efficient and friendly too. Definitely will come back to this place 👍👍

Having moved to Mt Hawthorn a while ago we finally got to visit Nol Si. And so glad we did. We are already planning a return visit. This is relatively small restaurant so I would advise you book ahead. The menu offers a 2 course for $39 and a 3 course for $49. Where else can you get these prices in Perth? And the food was excellent. All 3 courses. Highly recommended.

A 5 star quality restaurant with a personal touch and service to all its customers. Celebrated my wife's birthday and we couldn't have asked for more. We tried their 3 courses that included the garlic prawns $3 extra, tandoori chicken a little dry, the perfectly cooked beef cheeks, and our desserts were the tiramisu and creme brulee which were not bad. The rasberry ice cream was definitely a stand out. The chef is an absolutely great bloke and made sure he checked in on all his guests and made everyone feel right at home. His waitress was by far the best photographer helping us capture these precious moments and was so attentive throughout the night. A great atmosphere and we'll most certainly be back the next round to try the rest of his menu. Keep up the great work guys!

Went here with friends for dinner and was so impressed. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. They were super accomodationg of my friends 2 kids as well which was really nice. The boys really enjoyed their steak (cooked perfectly medium rare) and my fish was beautiful as were the garlic prawns. Finished by sharing a cheeky brulee. Also yum! Worth a visit if you're in Mount Hawthorne.

What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was. Four old workmates anmual Christmas dinner. Busy. You must book. Next time will make sure were not right at the payment desk Only problem. Food was delicious and not loaded onto your plate. I had the ravioli. Didnt think id ever rave about pasta. Im raving!! Not a sound from my colleagues busily tucking into chilli prawn linguine and crispy crispy skin barra Cant fault it As its BYO theres a corkage but with pudding...i had a creme brulee to die for and a bill of $40 a head you have to visit this great restaurant. I will be returning. The Goa curry went passed me. I must try!!!

Another stunning meal and experience from Amit. I've been fortunate to have been coming to Nol-Si for a few years now and have never been disappointed. I still marvel at how he manages to run (a now busy) restaurant on his own, and still have the meals well presented and out very quickly. Previously the Witches Cauldron until closing had Perth's best garlic prawns, and so far Amit's are as close as you can get to them. He sources his produce well and the sauce is so moorish he'll have to double the bread serving. The main meals ranging from pork belly, barramundi to the linguini's are all beautifully cooked and I enjoy having something different each visit. The value for money is beyond exceptional for this level of dining, ambience and service. One of my top 5 restaurants in Perth along with Wildflower, Le Rebelle, Nobu, and Friends and a must visit.

Delisious food, with lots or variety. Service was fanastic! Well priced and no corkage! Highly recommend. Been here 3 or 4 times now does disappoint! Kids really enjoyed the pasta and meatballs. Both the wife and I really enjoyed our meals. Service is still top notch, warm and welcoming. We had a really enjoyable family meal together! Highly recommend!

I followed the many great reviews to give Nol-Si a try and can vouch that they are all correct. Its much smaller than I expected but extremely nice and homey. Perfect food, fun friendly lively chef, hard-working waitress, and an ambience you dont find much in Perth. Easy to see why they have so many regulars, and know them all. We will be back Amit!

Came here for the first time after hearing great reviews and boy this place did not disappoint! Nice cozy place in mount hawthorn. The menu is influenced by various parts of the world and that’s what makes this place so great. Something for different taste buds. I had the garlic prawns, chorizo and empanadas for entree. We then had the beef cheeks and the beef rendeng. All the dishes we had were Incredible! The chef came out to ask if we enjoyed our food and I absolutely love that. A man who cares so passionately about his business. He ordered a desert to our table complimentary. Incredible host and a great guy! Can’t recommend Nol Si enough! Can’t wait to come back and try out the courtyard!

We bought a fish curry and a beef curry and from the get go moment were very impressed with the friendly and profetional service. Once at home we unrapped our dinners and to say it was amazing it is an understatement. The food was by far the best we have ever had. The flavours worked all together complementing each other for a dance of in-depth flavours and aromas. We really loved our experience and food. So happy to have such as awesome restaurant in our neighbourhood.

The food at Nol Si is amazing. its beautifully cooked and there is so much choice, its like fine dining at pub prices. very intimate and you can BYO wine and beer. its a little gem and the chef cooks everything himself, i dont know how he does it alone. I would recommend Nol Si highly and you cannot fault any of the food. Our friends had steak and we had the fish, it was sensational. also shared a fab dessert. Thank you Nol Si, dont change a thing.

Nice restaurant and very kind staff members.the food is good and there are a good range of options. The outdoor area at the back is really quiet and pleasant, and is perfect for groups. I don't think they are licensed, hit it's byo, so you can still have a drink. Very nice experience.

Excellent small cafe style restaurant. It's really lovely to visit a smaller more intimate restaurant but with a casual feel to it. Amit the owner is very welcoming and always goes out of his way to meet your needs. He is also a chef with a world of knowledge in the culinary field. Food was excellent especially the fish curry - full of flavour and the chef was very friendly and welcoming. Food arrived promptly. Only downside for me was sitting next to the outside door which meant every minute the waiter was in out to service - so had to keep my coat on was from the cold air coming through...slightly spoiled the evening since I was uncomfortable the whole time or interrupted by the door. Not a good place to put a table...

Been to this little gem 3 times in past 5 weeks, each time with different groups with wildly varying tastes. Each time, everyone had a wonderful meal because the small but thoughtful menu covers every possible whim Simply the most marvelous curries. Punchy garlic prawns. The lamb is lovely. Osso bucco to savor and there is always something to tempt you away on the specials. BYO and a casual cosy quirky vibe make this place a no brainer for an easy comfortable night. I am a dessert girl and it is this restaurants one very small weak spot - only choice of two. But you cant give half a star and I wouldn’t dream of insulting this lovely place with a mere 4 stars!!! Cant get past the amazing curry and cant wait to head back. Thank you for many lovely meals :)
