Entering the Equus Retail Arcade, you will see a small noodle restaurant called Noodle Forum. Don't be fooled by its size. The noodles are made fresh on-site. The flavours are surprisingly tasty and you can choose from three different types of noodles to go with your main. There's something for everyone here. I tried the vegetarian (mushroom) noodles, and they had a rich mushroom flavour. The fried mushrooms were the next best thing to popcorn chicken! The value for money is pretty good too. Give this place a try!

After walk passed their busy tiny restaurant a few times, I decided to try it today. I ordered chicken egg noodle (the other recommendations are laksa and braised pork noodle) and I LOVE IT SO MUCH! The chicken was crispy, with spicy mayonnaise and other toppings were just perfect. I also really enjoy my small egg noodle. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Definitely will return to try different noodles there.

They make their own noodles and is very springy with good texture. The sauce in the noodles is delicious. I order satay sauce over fried chicken fillet which is freshly fried with lots of crispiness. The chicken is well marinade and I guess they fried the chicken in lard and veg oil combination cos I can taste the lard on the crisp. The satay sauce is so yummy and definitely not from the bottle. Service is friendly and food is efficiently served. Really enjoyed this.

This restaurant makes a good variety of tasty dishes, mostly around the $14-15 mark Nothing I've had here has been overly spicy so it's fine for those who don't like spicy food. Be prepared to queue with a slight wait if you go between 12 and 1 weekdays

Your braised beef brisket was really lacking today, it was three-quarter gristle and 1/4 meat I’ve given you a good score because last time I was happy with your chicken curry

I just had a lunch in this place and suddenly loves it! I love how they provide 4 types of noodle which customer freely to choose. I love the crispy chicken that they served, it's delicious. I prefer they didn't serve the chicken skin, but so far it's not a huge problem for me. Good taste with huge serving, and middle range price for student. Staff is really friendly and enjoyable environment. Perfect! Definitely will come back.

Malaysian Spicy Chicken noodle was super tasty! Topping amounts seem quite inconsistent between dishes though - this one had heaps of chicken and potato and sauce, while the Braised Beef Brisket noodle only had a couple pieces of beef. Will be back to try the laksa, it looked delicious :)

Quite sad to say that I've only ever tried one dish off the menu here, but I just can't bring myself to try anything new because I just love their Satay Crispy Chicken Noodles! Always worth the trek into that side of town to have these noodles, even when the Carousel location was open these noodles were nowhere as good as this spot! Also really miss the spinach noodles that they used to make, the unusual pop of colour from noodles always appealed to me and made the dish sooo much better!

This place had one of the best honey BBQ porks in Perth. The BBQ pork noodle was a good size bowl that cost $12.90 and was available in soup or soupless (dry) option. The gula meleka drink was not as impressive though. The waiting staff was very friendly.

Very friendly staff. Very happy with our meals and the value. Everything was super tasty and the noodles were fantastic. A little bummed the mushroom dish did not have a vegetarian broth to pair with it, but was told it is soon to come! Looking forward to returning. Great to know the menus get changed up every once in a while. Would definitely recommend this place.

I actually miss the Noodle Forum in Carousel (Westfield) and now have to travel to the city just to have a taste of their yummy and great noodles. Why did the old one in Shafto and Carousel get replaced/disappeared? I wish it will be reverted. 😞

Great place to grab a meal. The food and it's quality is excellent. You can also ask for different types of noodles for your preference e.g. flat noodles or the commonly used round noodles. Highly recommend to visit

Best noodles in Perth!! If u want cheap and nasty massive, huge, buffet size portions go to a food Court! The portion size is adequate and the quality is unmatched. The noodles are fresh and delicious. I really feel $12 is more than reasonable and I always leave with a smile. It's also really quick service. Love it. I eat here at least every month!!

DELICIOUS! I am a Laksa fiend and eat it in many places, being a massive critic that nowhere blows me away. Well well well Noodle Forum did the job in blowing we away. Started with the simple menu so you don't get carried away if your unsure what to have, (specials board if you want a bargain) friendly staff helping when needed, then have a seat and a chat and then before you know it your meals are coming out, no waiting around here. The Laksa comes out looking delicious, then as you do try the soup first, mmmmmmm perfect balance of spices and cream, the noodles top it off as they were greatly made for what they are. I ate the whole thing feeling sick at the end as I just couldn't stop eating it! If I'm back in the area and wanted a cheap quick meal in the cold I know when I'm running to. Great price for great food, nothing fancy but sometimes you need a break from the rich food to have some old fashioned noodles! BRING YOUR BUSINESS TO MELBOURNE as i want to eat it more often

I tried the laksa. It was ok. It lacked the sourness and they didn't have any lime when I asked. The broth was also quiet less compared to other places. Additionally, I always get an unfriendly vibe from the staff there.

The noodles are made fresh on the premises and there are so good! My favourite is the crispy chicken dish with the spinach noodes. The egg noodles are good but the spinach ones are just so much tastier!

Singaporeans and those who migrated to Perth from there know what is tar mee pok. Flat egg noodles served dry with minced pork in a chilli sauce. It might also have slices of fish cake, liver, black mushrooms, and a fish ball or two. But the secret is the sauce that is hot, sour, with a hint of vinegar. Noodle Forum's take on this is pretty good. Just the minced pork and fish slices but close enough to satisfy a pang for this. The braised beef noodle is good too with tasty and well-cooked beef in a rich gravy. We also had the deep fried golden eggplant as a side dish. I recommend this. Tasty and well seasoned and served with a tangy sauce. Probably the best of the side dishes available.

Heading to this noodle restaurant without any hesitance. But it might because of my high expectation, I feel a bit disappointed with the taste. I ordered laska Supreme, coconut with strong smell of fish sauce or something I'm not sure. Wanton soup is in average taste, nothing special. Maybe next time, try something else on their menu.
