Our meal was only outdone by the service. It’s been a long time since I had such fantastic service. Our server was Tessa but she was not the only person to check in on us, all were equally happy offer to serve us with a smile. Hanna was equally superb. Back to the kitchen. As I suffer some dietary sensitivities I often have difficult getting food that completely agrees with me and equally difficult to find a chef who is happy give it their all to accommodate my sensitivities. Portofinos was exceptional in this regard as well. As for the views, right on the Ocean, we intentionally chose to celebrate our Anniversary with Portofinos to enjoy the wonderful WA Sunset and signature cocktails before our dining experience began. Simply put, go there, I’m confident you won’t be disappointed. To the Management and Staff … We’ll Done!

A lovely warm and friendly night on a windy night. The steaks were mouth watering with beautifully cooked accompliments and very tasty sauce. The sticky date pudding was beautiful and plenty of caramel sauce to my delight. The staff were lovely 😍 and friendly and I noticed many happy to have a chat. The premises could easily with notice accommodate otherwise abled Patrons. A bubbly restaurant which seemed to even allow conversation without problem unless you had hearing issues. Amazing place with very friendly staff, the food was really good, I had the smash avocado, the portion was a small tho, (my partner would have to order something extra), the ocean view is stunning, the day was beautiful and after our brunch we went outside for few drinks and the atmosphere there was very inviting to stay all day long! Servi e was shockingly bad. Ordered at 6.05 and the starters came out at 7.05 and the mains at 7.50. One of the worst service I have ever had. Even asked the wait staff what's taking so long and they said it will be ready in 10 mins. I then asked could I order another drink so they passed me a menu and didn't come back for 15 mins and without any food. Food was average. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because of the beautiful location...

Mask wearing is mandatory at the moment...this INCLUDES covering your nose - bar staff and desk staff not complying; wait staff are pleasant and helpful, wearing their masks in the correct manner. Ordered pizza - very good, if a little heavy-handed with the chilli. Suggest requesting a bottle of water for your table - if you refuse a refill from the communal jug, they may not return. May possibly return, the jury is currently out...however, if we do, I will order an affogato with kahlua again - yum...not on the menu.

We have visited the Cafe section on a cold rainy winters day a couple of times now and inside the cafe was beautiful and warm with the heaters on. The view of the beach and Indian ocean from the cafe is stunning and im sure on a sunny summers say it would be even better. The cafe entrance has a kids play area outside to keep the kids happy. The first time we visited the service after ordering our food & drinks was very slow and disappointing, however the 2nd time was the opposite. 2nd time very prompt, friendly service and the meals were great. Very well priced for what you get..A great place to go on a winters day to warm up and catch up with friends/ relatives, or in summer time before or after the beach... I give this a 4 out of 5

Sunday birthday lunch for 4 - Service was pretty good, nice friendly staff, Vik was great. Lots of flies buzzing around our legs and were quite annoying, lots resting on window near where we were seated. We had pizza, muscles, burger and pork belly. Bottom strip of pork belly was like chewing leather so had to leave, top part and crackling was good, potato rosi made with grated potato was very under cooked, broccoli was under cooked and hard to cut, the Apple fritters and the cauliflower purée was delicious. The other dishes were ok. Toss up between 2 & 3 stars really.

Always a good spot for a meal, with friendly wait staff and a location which offers stunning ocean views. I had their NYE special; scallop, prawn, pancetta and pea purée risotto which was absolutely delicious. The only negative was our mains came out before our entrée, and our entrée followed 5 minutes later, meaning we had to try and eat it all before it went cold! In turn, this spoiled our idea for a relaxed meal to see out a hideous year. Oh well, the food and views were still worth it.

We went here for the first time this Morning for breakfast. The menu stood out in originality from other restaurants. The service was the best and friendliest we had in a long time. They got one of our orders wrong and they couldn't have been more apologetic. We even got our coffee for free. Apart from that, the food was hot, good quality and delicious. My husband's eggs were fried to perfection, and he is very fussy with his food. He even ate all of his bacon up. I couldn't recommend this place more. We were that impressed, that we straight away asked for a dinner menu on the way out. Apart from that, we had a stunning view over the ocean. We will be back soon with our friends for sure. Keep up the good work guys, you are amazing.

Nice little place right on the beach overlooking the water. Great for after beach food, dinner or a few cheeky drinks. Sunday’s I believe are live music nights. I recommend the Pizza Bianca and the seafood plate for 1 (but you can definitely share the seafood plate with someone else as the serving is big!) Staff are very nice and welcoming as well! Nice casual atmosphere.

Went for our anniversary last night. Husband had T-Bone steak special which was cooked wonderfully. I had the Paella which had generous seafood and nicely balanced spices. More moist than I am used to but really worked. So delicious! Staff and facilities were also excellent. They had an acoustic guitarist playing who created a nice atmosphere

Valentine's at a great place with many others. Portofinos held a Valentine's day 3 course meal and it was nice. A trio selection of starters and dessert, with a beef or fish main choice. It was quite busy but with live music from a guitarist with a lovely voice, friendly staff and cold drinks the wait time we had was quite manageable. We've been here before and we keep coming back. If you haven't visited, plan a meal here. It's right on Quinns beach. Perfect for a walk along the beach beforehand to work up that appetite, or maybe afterwards to help settle that meal down.

I would recommend this place to everyone. The food is amazing, so much flavours, big portions, loved it. The staff is amazing, catered to everything we needed. It was my 21st bday dinner so my girlfriend brought in a cake, the staff were kind enough to put a sparkle candle on it and bring it to our table after we had finished our other food. It's the small things that count, this place does everything to perfection, didn't have 1 fault at all, loved it. Thank you to the chefs for the amazing food and the waitresses for being so friendly and nice. I will 100% be back here in the near future 😁 very happy person. Thank you.

Staff are wonderful and the food is beautiful! However, I've visited a few times recently (usually during the weekends) and each time I have noticed that the two older men (who I assume are the owners/bosses) are quite rude and short tempered with their staff. They seem stressed and looks as if they take that all out on their extremely lovely and attentive staff. I really do hope their attitude towards their staff changes as it turns what should be a laidback and relaxed atmosphere into a hostile and uncomfortable one. They are slowly turning customers away, myself included.

Service is good- sometimes. Some nights staff are very attentive other nights it’s hard to get someone for assistance. Food is great. A shame that they have a singer in the restaurant that is too loud. Choice of music is fine but if you’re wanting a quiet conversation it’s difficult. Music is only for an hour or so but I think it would be better in the beer garden section or the cafe section.

My girlfriend and I had dinner at Portofino's a couple weeks ago. I wasn't overly impressed. After we were seated, we waited 15 minutes for a waitress to return, at which point, we had to let them know that we had not yet been provided a menu. The food was great, however, relative to the price, I think the portion sizes were way too small. Also, my girlfriend ordered a dish which included broccolini, they brought out broccoli instead. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but I wouldn't go back in a hurry.

Everyone has an opinion so before coming here I read the reviews. The service was great and non Intrusive so got to talk to our table without unnecessary interruptions. All four meals were above average tasting but some items battered had no flavour except the fats/oils they were cooked in. The pizza was of good proportion and being wood fired made it more special. I would've liked the base a little firmer but I enjoyed it all the same

Went there for Sunday lunch. The staff were lovely. Got a table straight away. The food was very tasty. We ordered 3x kilpatrick oysters (omg), the tasting plate and a pizza. For 2 of us we nearly ate it all and the wine was nice. We had a espresso Martini and Jamaican coffee for dessert: was very nice. The only things that were con's for us were half of the olives in the tasting plate weren't pitted so didn't eat them and there were some pesky indoor flies. Would I go back? Yes definitely.

Don't order the fried eggs!!!!! A few times now I have been sending back uncooked whites. The service is friendly, the coffee is good but $6 for a large coffee is a bit rich. $8 slices that are tiny. Don't expect portion sizes to fill you up either if you are a big eater. Cakes don't have prices in the display or on the menu!. So make sure you ask or you will be in for a rude shock. Take away coffee cups are thin and poor quality. They don't have mugs for coffee in the cafe so if you want a large you will be drinking it from waxed card board. The view is beautiful from the cafe and the kid friendly play ground is good for families. The restaurant on the other hand was amazing for my Mums wedding. The service was brilliant, the food incredible and was a great time had by all.

Disappointing. A 20 minute wait for our coffee and 35 minutes for breakfast, and they were not even half full! The pepper grinder was empty, the poached eggs were overcooked, and the hollandaise sauce was bland. A great location and stunning views that you would've thought the service and food would live up to.

Can only speak for the cafe side but have never had a bad experience here. Great coffee and cake selection with well rounded lunch menu. They have a under cover, gated playground that can be seen from tables outside (and alot inside) so great place to bring the kids. Inside tables look onto ocean over grassed area.

I've been to this restaurant several times, as well as attended a wedding in their function room. A beautiful view, excellent food and service - a little bit pricey - but worth it. Not sure whether I'm getting old, but last time we went it was so loud we found it difficult to hear eachother talk, which kind of upset us both - were looking for a romantic evening. So 5 stars - but please do something about the acoustics.

Went there last night with mya fiancé for our anniversary. Called them up early in the morning to book a table for two in the far corner for 6.00 pm. I was told that i can't book a specific table and it is on "first in, first served" basis. So we got there at 5.30 and waiter took us down the the table which was exactly next to the one I wanted. I asked manager if I could swap the tables because I saw that the table was empty. He told me that the table was BOOKED and we can't do that. I was enraged because i was told over the phone that I cannot book a specific table. Not making a big thing out of it for the sake of the fiancé we went back to our table. For this very reason I will NOT come back to this restaurant. Food was good but in small portions and quite overpriced. Had similar food a bit cheaper at Jamie's Italian. on their defense, setting and atmosphere are recompensating for the high prices. Food is tasty nothing outstanding or exceptional. Service is good, but as I said I will be thinking twice before I come here again.

The share plate was really lovely with lots to keep us interested, we also had the bruschetta and pate, all delicious. The staff were really good, better than most at The Boat or The Indi in regards to friendliness and efficiency. The reason why I've given four instead of five stars is not the fault of the restaurant however the parents who let their kids scream and shout like banshees should be ashamed, it's nice to see kids being able to play on the grass but come on... have some respect for other people trying to have a relaxing afternoon and at least tell your children that screaming at the top of their lungs is not on or take them home!
