Great service tonight. The chippy was really busy and unfortunately my chicken and mushroom pie was left behind. When I called about it the owner remade my order freshly, drove it to my house and refunded my money. They were very apologetic. Mistakes happen particularly when it’s busy. The food was delicious! Thank you.

Great fish and chips. So funny that there has to be a sign on the wall to explain about the Aussie vs Brit chips! I can just imagine the conversation that took place with some grumpy customer complaining about the chips being 'wrong' when they got served Brit-style chips! :-)

We have truly lived in about 7 locations since we have been to Perth and been to many of a chip shop looking for the taste of home and boy we found it when friends told us about the Great British Chippy. Its not just a chip shop, its the smell of home, I truly feel I'm just down the road from my mum and dads house and that makes me happy. Not only that the taste of the fish and chips are amazing!! we are regular customers now and like to try something different every time we come (((CURRY SAUCE))) you need this in your life. The staff are friendly, the banter is great, even though we stay about a 10 minute drive we also have the option to sit in, you have nice music on or the option to watch some TV while you eat. Your never waiting very long, even if there is a line of people in front, then what do you expect with being popular. Irn Bru who doesn't love Irn Bru. Highly recommended although be warned once you go, you will need to dedicate part of your wage to it as you will be back for your weekly hit :)

I've eaten at the Butler outlet about 10 times over the last 12 months and I usually get black pudding and Brit chips. It's always been pretty good and it's a different experience than most of the other Fish and Chip shops which is what you would expect with their branding. The chips do range from a little more soggy to a little more cooked on different visits but they all have a big potato flavour. I usually douse mine in tomato sauce and eat the meal in the car in the shop carpark! If you want more Aussie style Fish and Chips made with regular commercial chips there are plenty of other places close by such as Mindarie Keys Fish and Chips, Shark Shack in Merriwa, and Rocks Fish and Grill at Quinns which are all very good. If you want to try something else this is the place!
