I rate The Partisan. Great spot and they're very happy to accommodate the Beagle. Good menu that changes up often. Great spot for taking a walk around the river then include Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner as the reward.

Spent a lovely evening for dinner at The Partisan. I have always wanted to try this venue as it is always busy. The staff are very attentive and we didn't wait long to have our drinks and food orders taken. The food didn't take very long to be served. The portion sizes were plentiful and the food was absolutely delicious. The beef cheek ragu pasta was so tender and tasty! I will definitely be back and I would recommend booking so you don't miss out!

Lunch with a friend. Seated easily and scanned the qr code to order and pay. Much preferred over the queueing for some time at the counter method, but they also offer waited service for the more classic experience. Food was excellent, staff were friendly without being intrusive. Setting is lovely and relaxing. I was last here two years ago and they are massively improved. Looking forward to the next visit.

A nice river side Cafe located next to several beautifully manicured gardens and the fantastic bridge over the river. Service is a little slow and the fried chicken on French toast was a indeed too sweet. I would recommend the eggs benedict instead.

Loved the location Staff were great, although wasn't sure how to the tablet for ordering. I ordered American BBQ RIBBS, I found then dry, and no sauce. My lunch partner ordered the steak, asked for it to be rare, and it come out cooked to perfection.

Great service at this lovely cafe right of the waters edge within Claisebrook Cove. Prices are reasonable and the also have a good selection of cakes/deserts. They also have lactose free milk for those people who are lactose intolerant. Beautiful spot. Can get very busy at breakfast and lunch time, however you can call and reserve a table. Always open every day from 7am til 9.30pm. Great selection of smoothies and fruit juices

Just had a lovely meal at The Partisan. We had the crunchy squid - entree - was nice but maybe a little too crunchy for me. Hubby had the entree scallops and they were absolutely delicious- loved them. We then shared the Salmon Risotto and again, really lovely. Service was great - outlook lovely - well worth coming here for a lovely meal.

My wife and I went for the first time for dinner last night. The location is fantastic and the view makes for a really pleasurable experience. We were quite pleased with the quality of the food as well as the pricing. We ordered a variety of starters and shared. The service was a bit hit and miss. There seemed to be too many wait staff present and we were asked the same question from multiple staff members on many occasions, which became a little bit annoying. Overzealous waiters tend to ‘get in the way’ of a nice night out with a loved one. I guess it can be hard at times to judge how many staff you would need rostered on, but they didn’t seem to have any tables allocated to each person so they all kept coming up and asking you when you are ready to order and trying to take drink orders after we had already placed them with someone else. At times 3 different waiters tried taking our order. But on one occasion, one person who took a drink order didn’t even put it in to the system and we had to get them to go back quite some time later to make sure my wife got a glass of wine. The order hadn’t actually been processed. I understand some places just have off nights, so I would likely consider going back again and give it another go in a while.

This Restaurants, caters for In,and outdoor Dining.whilst the indoor decorum is very ordinary , the outdoor place basic ,it bears a very Mediterranean charm with view of the Swan River more or less resembling an inlet with fantastic looking modern homes facing the water. At dusk streetlights along the waterfronts alight , reflecting beautifully on the River water. All in all, it adds to the LOCATION of the Restaurant....but most important the Food is great, plentiful and very affordable .The Staff to are very helpful and nice

If you like good food, and a lovely location... With a Master Chef..... Then you must visit the Partisan in East Perth. Their food is outstanding. We had the Spaghetti seafood, Salmon and their prawns. Everyone in our party raved about their food. It's not often that 5 or 6 people order meals and that everyone then races about the food... We will definitely be going their again soon.

Dinner on Saturday night was excellent, duck seasoned and cooked nicely, pork belly likewise, both served on warm plates, best of all the veggies were plentiful (a nice change from other restaurants) - carrots, broccolini, mushroom, cauliflower, and brussel sprouts. The meal takes time to be served, including the dessert. To me, that implies it's fresh and cooked from scratch rather than warmed up, which makes your evening a pleasant, relaxed experience rather than rushed. Great views, very relaxed ambiance. The service is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. My children loved it and would like to return. They are 11 & 13. They do have a kid's menu, however, they've learnt to eat well, so they ordered from the full menu. Beef Wellington & a checken dish. The dessert is awesome. I had the chocolate fondant, which takes a while to serve as it's fresh. My only complaint, I spent a great deal of time defending my plate from my family!

Good food, service was hit and miss? One of the staff that served us was particularly lovely. We ordered the tomahawk and the seafood tower and really enjoyed it. Expect a 30-40 minute wait for the tomahawk. A bit of a mix up with the entree order not going through, but the wine we ordered upon recommendation kept us happy. We were keen on ordering dessert but found closer to closing, staff were occupied and there was no follow up on or dessert order. We decided to have dessert elsewhere. Maybe next time!

The food was of a decent quality, however your customer service was less than desired. My friend and I visited Partisan for the first time on Sunday for lunch. It was busy when we arrived. So we decided to take a seat at an empty table outside. The table is was dirty, but we didn’t mind as it was busy. We then proceeded to order via the QR code on the table as no one was available. We then managed to get the attention of a staff member and asked if they could clear the table. We were asked if we were seated there by anyone. We told the lady that we sat ourselves down as everyone looked busy. With some attitude we were told that we must wait to be seated. We were apologetic as we missed the sign, we were then asked to move. We advised the staff member that we already ordered via the QR code and paid. The staff member then rolled her eyes at us and told us that we shouldn’t have done that as the QR system didn’t work and walked away. 5 minutes passed and she came back to us and said everything was fine and then point to the 1 available covid check in and told us to sign in. We decided to just eat and go. I think you need to review your customer flow and processes you have in place because it was confusing and the attitude did not help. I would also encourage you to have Covid QR codes available on all your outdoor tables if you want people to be compliant. I apologise for the rant, but I feel that it’s important to encourage customers to visit your establishment in the current Covid environment, not deter them. All the best.

Went to this restaurant in Mother's Day for dinner and they fitted me in. I had the house salad and grilled salmon and a proper pot of tea. It was wonderful and can recommend the food,service and atmosphere.

Pretty spot always busy we walk past it offen on our afternoon walk. Have been here many years ago when visiting our daughter b4 we moved over here 13 months ago.. its now part of our new hood since buying in the area Honey cake is my favourite skinny chai latte nice but I've had better. A few too many dogs as im have a a reaction to the hair on a dog and horse that closes my wind pipes I have to be very careful. I just wish dog owners would consider people like Me that we could die and keep dogs with then and not wonder under people's tables

The atmosphere is really nice and beautiful. The food was good, they have breakfast menu and lunch menu that starts at 12pm coffee was enjoyable. Good portion for food. The only thing that bugs me is that staff just keeps hounding you to order. Like every 5 to 10 minutes, probably for like 4-5 times even when we ordered coffee and while we are deciding or contemplating to eat or not. It wasn't that busy and they really need to chill.

The chairs are too narrow and dig into the sides of your bum if you sit back in your chair. I’m a slim person so don’t know how a wider body type would manage. They also scrape on the floor loudly and it’s really not relaxing. We reserved a table but rang ahead because we were running late. The staff member ended up putting the phone down on me, English obviously not her first language. The rib special has changed to being served on a wooden board which I didn’t like, the serving size has reduced and there was a lack of bbq sauce. It use to be a pretty awesome special, we rang ahead for Father’s Day and were assured the special was still the same which it clearly wasn’t, a disappointing meal and not a relaxing experience.

This has been one of our " go to" places for many years. It has recently changed management and menu. Over the past couple of months we have seen it become more user friendly and the food fantastic. The All Day Breakfast not only gives you a choice without looking at your watch but what is on offer from the new menu is fabulous. Many items on the menu are unique and modern. Service hit and miss I agree. Location amazing. Highly recommend.... just get the service right. Shades tables are also sometimes a bonus.

This cafè overlooks a waterfront – Clairesbrook Cove. Sitting alfresco facing the waterfront is very relaxing and scenic – particularly on a sunny day. Great name for a cafe too. Coffee was very nice – strong, hot with bold flavours. Service could be better.

This was surprising given that the previous dinner menu (alongside their day menu) had some great veggie food. Called in here for lunch today. I recalled its great position by the canal, but as it was so hot, we sat inside. My crab pasta was great, and included a few clams. Very tasty. My friend's calamari were very tasty. We followed this with coffees. The waiter took back my first one, as he had spilt a noticeable amount in the saucer. This was quickly replaced, but unfortunately I discovered a hair in it! The waiter insisted it was a thread off a tea towel, but whichever it was, it should not have been in the coffee! This coffee too, was replaced. When I payed, I thought that perhaps I might not have been charged for the coffee, but that was not to be. Hence my four star rating, rather than five!

The chefs special tasting platter was the best selection of food I’ve had for $25 , either in Australia or overseas. The value for money was incredible from the sticky pork ribs to the top shelf prosciutto and the amazing dips . The view of the river and the East Perth setting with the French wine was a bonus . We arrived here for brecky after our stay at the crown towers, the towers have their own excellent restaurants but we had been here before and new the service and food were good and was half the price of the crown, great breakfast and great service like us have a walk over the new bridge and treat yourself you will not be disappointed. Casual indoor/outdoor dining with a gorgeous view of the river. The coffee is excellent, the service good and the meals are large. Doggies are also welcome in the outside area.

Booked breakfast for 10 people with 'The Fork' only to arrive with no booking registered. Luckily lots of room inside and the food more than made up for the rocky start. While having to queue to order isn't ideal, it saves on the hassle of splitting bills and there was plenty of jovial banter in the queue! Beautiful location, lovely staff, fast service, large servings and really delicious food. All in all, great value for money and we will definitely be back (but will call direct to book next time!)

For the start, the place was stunning. Beautiful water with similar buildings that you see in Belgium. They have indoor and outdoor seatings. Easy parking as there is 1hr free parking along royal street. To get to the restaurant, you need to walk down the stairs, wheelchair access is on the other side. We started with coffees. I was getting my soy latte, and boyfriend get cappuccino. My coffee taste burnt a bit and too frothy for a latte, and boyfriend's coffee was warm, not hot enough. We ordered Morning Bowl and Little Pig Benedict and amazed! So worth the money. It is filling and delicious. We lick our plate clean👌 the ladies were nice and when we paid i told the manager about my coffee, she said sorry, was great attitude. Definitely will go back.

I was looking forward to this place, friendly staff, overlooks the East Perth waterway, the food looks and smells great. However I asked for the wait time on food and was advised 20 minutes. I also advised I needed to leave in 40 mins as I was on lunch break having a meal with my family before they leave overseas. 40 mins goes by and I was told by our friendly waitress that the meals were being plated up, I advised I'd need it in a box to go. 10 mins go by 2 dishes on the table still waiting on 2 more , 5 mins later a 3rd dish, waitress comes back and says they are just boxing mine up now. I waited another 5 minutes and had to leave. I was told by my group the box didn't come out for another 10 minutes after I left. An hour later. I had to have my family drop the box to me at work , the taste was there but having been delayed and sitting for so long the textures, temperature and consistency all ruined. Soggy , mushy mess with fish. I really wanted to enjoy this place but maybe not over a lunch break.

Food average as you can have in different artisan cafe in perth, my boy ordered zucchini salmon and they run out of salmon so we replaced with mushrooms, it was nice, will I order again maybe not, the hollandaise sauce taste like mayo than sauce, my girl order avocado smashed with poached eggs and balsamic reduction, the balsamic reduction too sweet for our taste, should be more acidic taste than sugary taste. my calamari actually was on lunch menu but the waiter kind to ask the chef to make for.me and that's it's nice as I am not a breakfast menu person and I love my asian breakfast rather toast and breads :). calamari coated was good and simple salads and i am pleased with mini bell pepper they added in my salads, that's interesting for me and honestly first time i tasted it, I was thought a mini tomato that I had in Holland. I am giving 3 star coz the food can be more tasty and improved. the menu would be nice a mix of western and fusion.

I don’t normally write reviews but felt compelled to do so after having a wonderful afternoons lunch with my wife and son today. I’d like to thank the chef once again for prepairing such brilliant meals all round. I had the cooked salmon and it was absolutely delicious, the skin was crunchy and the fish itself was nice and moist not to mention the salad was just spot on. My son had the adult size fish and chips and that was just yummy. My wife had the duck liver patte & cheese plate which she had ordered the day before and that was also a beautiful tasting dish. Partisan has a farmhouse feel about it, with slightly unusual, but honest food. Good menu choices for those who like meat. Fish of the day at dinner was prepared beautifully.
