What a gem! Great ambiance, awesome food and spectacular service. My wife and I were there with the kids to celebrate our anniversary (in Dec 2021) and we were so glad to have chosen this restaurant. Service was top notch even though it was a busy. We went away happy and satisfied.

Service was slow but very friendly, it was also quite a busy night. The food was delicious, plentiful and quite reasonably priced. As well as the two pasta mains we got the Piatto per Due (antipasti board of cold meats, cheese, olives and bread) which was a nice start to our meal. Wine list is small but they have the option of glass/500ml carafe/bottle which I really like.

It’s a nice simple Italian restaurant with a menu that was full of flavour and staff that were friendly. We ordered the beef special that had bacon and veggies, and the Pappardelle Ragu. The beef was so tender and flavoursome. Benissimo.

Everything was fantastic. The antipasto platter that was to serve 4 was a steal at 48 dollars. We split it between 2 and were full. But still split a delicious creme brulee. Will definitely return. The service was welcoming and fun

I’d honestly gave the restaurant 3 1/2 stars. Service was attentive and friendly but the reason I gave it 3 1/2 stars and not 5, was because the pasta was store bought and not authentic home made. My partner said the sauces were nice but can’t say they were anything ‘special’.. I ordered the fish of day with Brussel sprouts which was delicious but overall, just average food.

An experience not to be shunned. The atmosphere gets you in the mood for a cheeky glass of red while the staff greet you like members of the family. The experience then gets elevated with some exceptional authentic home style meals, which will leave you in a food coma. The pleasure of dining here won't even break the bank. Definitely a North Perth go to.

Food was amazing and good value for money. However, service wasn't the greatest. A table next to us who arrived around the same time managed to order, receive drinks and starters before we even ordered. We had to flag a waitress down to order.

I came here on Wednesday night. Firstly, WOW. From service, presentation, to the food - all amazing! Quite possibly the best Italian food I have ever had. Portions are very generous which I feel is always lacking for Italian food - price was perfect also. The only critique would be the sourdough; tasted like it came from Woolies, or had been sitting for a good half an hour before being served as it was a little bit dry.

Me and my partner have been there many times and we love the food, absolutely delicious.. Buonissimo! Great atmosphere and great service, we've always been looked after by the amazing staff and really felt like being in Italy! Great tasting pasta here, it’s rare to fine an Italian restaurant where both the pasta and the sauce are cooked really well. The fettuccine with meatballs and the seafood pasta dish were both spot on.

What an awesome gem of a place. Service is a throw back experience - i.e. actually great. Came in with hayfever attack, waiter dived out the back and gave me a couple of antihistamines. I know this is unrelated to the food but gives you an idea of the attitude. Definitely recommend the Wagyu Truffle tortellini and the Tiramisu. 👍

Amazing! Seriously wonder if some of the bad reviews are other local eateries feeling threatened? The pasta we had was fresh and if not “home made” then certainly made fresh, it was the perfect texture & flavours were amazing Bruschetta special was incredible Kids meals were as good as the adult meals Wine list was great and very reasonably priced by the glass $95 for a shared starter, 2 mains, 2 kids meals, 2 glasses of wine and a few soft drinks - great value for money! Do yourself a favour and give this place a go - you won’t regret it

Came across this gorgeous restaurant by mistake. We were going to eat at the Rosemount hotel but after looking at there underwhelming menu and surveying the food co.ing out wr left. It was pouring with rain so we ran accross the road to the nearedt estery. What a great decision. Ilaria is just so special. Warm and welcoming with stinning food. Our new special plCe to go. If I could I would give them more stars! What a gem of a restaurant in North Perth! Myself and my two children thoroughly enjoyed our meals earlier this evening!!! And I don't say that lightly, being of southern European origin!!!! The premises have a good, cozy atmosphere. Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was lovely! The lady who served our table was very personable! All our different mains were served in a timely manner and at the same time! All three of us agreed our mains were delicious!!!!!! Certainly value for money! Kudos to the staff, chef and owner!!! A wonderful establishment! Job well done!!! We certainly look forward to visiting again!!!

Food was good, people were nice. Casual is the key... part of first drinks arrived as the meals were placed on the table and then the rest of us got our drinks and our nibbles for the drinks were placed between our meal plates. I think that this is too casual. At least dont get the meals prepared until the drinks get served. Pleasant place but seemingly disorganised.

Service was incredible. My partner was late from work and they made me feel accommodated and welcome instead of awkward. The decor was beautifully Italian. Really gave off that "I'm about to have a bomb pasta" vibe. Pasta; as expected was sensational. Highly recommend the creamy broccoli choice (apologies, forget the name of it). Just don't plan anything afterwards - you'll be full and ready for home. I don't drink wine but apparently the Pinot Grigio was also a ripper. 10/10. Will be back.

We had an average experience at Trattoria. The service was lovely and the manager dealt with an issue very well. However, the main reason you go to a restaurant is for the food. We ordered a pasta dish and a lasagna. The pasta dish was bland and watery so we requested to change the dish, this was dealt with swiftly and professionally. The lasagna was okay, the bechamel was quite nice. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu. It was a small serving and we were unimpressed with its presentation. It looked sad. The coffee was overpowering and it lacked mascarpone. The tiramisu was a little watery too... It didn't feel like a lot of love was put into the tiramisu. Considering the number of good Italian restaurants there are already in Perth, we won't return.

Due to current events we obviously only had takeaway, so unable to wow you with sexy pictures of the food. However, what I can tell is that we got some excellent home cooked Italian food. We had the fettuccini ragu and the lasagna. Both of which were very tasty, and good portion sizes. With friendly service I can highly recommend Ilaria.
