I don’t expect any less from this restaurant! Craving a pizza? I’ll go to amici… craving a scrumptious pasta? I’ll go to amici.. the staff and owner are always great company and always make sure that you are happy with your food. Also if you love seafood, the brodetto is a must!

Very happy that my partner and I enjoyed our first night out tonight since pre-lockdown at this wonderful restaurant. The staff were checking vaccine certificates, all wearing masks, and were super friendly and accommodating. We ordered the bruschetta pizza for entree and a pasta dish each for mains. Our favourite local Italian and have enjoyed many birthday celebrations here-where the team kindly allow us to put up.some decorations. Sergio and his team pump out excellent Italian fare at very reasonable prices for the quality. Pizzas are wood fired, bread is housemade. Can be noisy due to everyone having a good time. For 2-4 people grab one of 2-3 tables on the enclosed-or open in summer- upper balcony for a quieter (aka slightly less Italian!) experience.

Amici ticked all the boxes for us. Traditional Italian food made with love. The chef even visited our table during the course of the meal to say hello. Figs with prosciutto in Gorgonzola sauce were exceptional. Staff friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Worth a visit to the suburbs.

My boyfriend and I have been coming to Amici for about 3 years now and we have yet to find a better Italian restaurant around. It is by far the best authentic Italian food on the North Shore (dare I say the whole of Sydney). All of the food on the menu is impeccable, but the pizzas especially are to die for! The staff are incredibly welcoming, gracious & helpful. I really cannot recommend this place enough.

My friends and I have dined here on multiple occasions and always have a great experience! Last time I had the Tronchetto Pizza and it was so filling and tasty! Service is always amazing, staff are very hospitable towards guests and have created a very friendly atmosphere. Lovely hearty meals. Highly recommended!

Zuccini flowers were in some pretty awful hard batter, whitebait fish cakes (with a squirt of mayonaise) were pretty bland and looked unappetizing and the veal fungi was tasteless, including the the hard dry blob of mashed potato. Seeing those amazing reviews makes me wonder whether we ordered the wrong items so I want to specify my opinion is solely based on the 3 dishes we ordered the other day. First off, the zucchini flowers were very disappointing. The coating was very tough and I could barely taste the cheese. The Cecatielli Casalboresi that my bf ordered was ok but the texture of my spinach ravioli was not great. Again, could barely taste the cheese. I really wanted to like this place because we went there for my birthday, but based on the food that I've tried I could only give 3 stars

Had an amazing experience here for mother's day! The staff were welcoming, and extremely attentive. My mum was thrilled with the up-beat attitudes of all members. The food was to die for! We had the famous wood-fire pizza, and a Brodetto to share. The seafood was delicious and fresh! The owner, and chef came up to us to ensure we enjoyed all the food and it was clear he is very passionate about his work and cuisine! highly recommend any of the seafood dishes, and the fish special. All around a great night, mum was happy, and we will be coming here again soon! Andrew.

This restaurant is very near our place and we go there when we feel like to eat well and in a romantic setting. The pizza is really good, the atmosphere is relaxed and elegant at the same time; the service is very friendly and professional. The only things I don’t like is that the ingredients are not of premium quality (the ham in my calzone didn't taste like the freshly cut one I would expect in a nice place like this one, and I think they don’t have anything with buffalo mozzarella, which I love).

If you appreciate real home made Italian food with flare, and being made to feel like you're at home, part of the Amici family by the owner and his staff, then this is the place to go! Amici is a busy, happy place where the food is all prepared fresh on premise when you order and you are always greeted with a welcoming smile, provided with genuine friendly service- which is very hard to find these days. This is why, I guess, there are plenty of regulars like our family here every week, which the owner and his staff always treat like friends (as the name Amici suggests). Amici has become our regular home away from home, for mouth watering Italian food at great value. Highly recommend this little Italian gem in Cammeray. The legend goes that all the great Pizza Chefs started here, Mario and Lucio, although I was surprisingly underwhelmed with our order. The bases lacked salt which in my opinion ruined the pizza all together, all you could taste was no salt. On a positive note, the pizzas were ready within 10 minutes.
