We were time constrained because the movie was starting in 40 minutes, therefore, we placed an order over the phone. The pizza was a perfect Napoli style pizza served at the perfect time. The real surprise was Maurizio, a brilliant and enthusiastic Sicilian man, his level of service was very high. The tiramisu’ was to die for (savoiardi dipped in quality coffee). We’ll definitely go back for the pizza and the super service!

This is a gem of a place I keep coming back to when I want an authentic and rewarding Italian experience. It’s a safe bet, a place I love introducing to people and returning to with others. The food is excellent, the flavours rich and deep and true to the Italian principle of fresh and simple ingredients. Tonight we feasted on pizza with a smoky chewy crust cooked to perfection in the wood fired oven and a Burrata Panzanella creamy and tangy and to die for. The service, as usual, is warm, welcoming and generous. Our host Maurizio hits all the right notes as he takes care of us with ease, charm and grace. Meanwhile, the Italian soundtrack transports us to Italy itself. A great experience as always and highly recommended.

Such a wonderful restaurant. The staff were kind, patient and generous in planning and hosting a birthday event, especially with the uncertainty of Covid. Food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it. Really recommend eating and having events here!

Fantastic service and great food. We come here regularly and have always been exceptionally well looked after and enjoyed delicious food. There is an undercover courtyard out the back with some toys for kids which is great for a family night as well if you have little ones.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on Friday for my birthday. Food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Mr preet was extremely welcoming and made my birthday very special, Together with the staff they surprised me with a birthday cake and song! I'm so glad I went to this venue. Absolutely love this place! Easily one of the best eats in the area. Highly recommend coming here for a date night, you'll spend a bit of cash but it will the best meal you've eaten by far. Drinks options are also great, cannot stress how delicious the food is here!!!

Loved the starters at this place. The food is amazing, get a very Italian feel . The pizza are made in wood oven these thin slices delicious.. lip smacking . Tried potato , egg plant pizza The only caution is not to sit near the wood oven where they make pizza. You will be sweating like anything no matter how cold they make air conditioning.

Non complicated interior, staff attentive yet enough not to be annoying. Food and choices on menu balanced within the price point. Little more seasoning on the pizza products please but decent dough and a beautiful Italian rose to wash it down. Like most restaurants, parents with kids who can't sit properly and behave and young couples and their constant need to touch and grope is somewhat annoying but YES I'd come back.

This is one of my favourite spots in Sydney. I love Italian food, from appetizers to pastas to pizzas to the wine. Here therevis all of that plus more on offer and it is all delicious. This is a wine bar & restaurant, dark & moody, fun & romantic. It is Italian food taken to new, modern heights. Dishes are beautifully presented & creative, ingredients & pasta are fresh, pizza is one of the best in Sydney. Lots of wines by the glass means you can try & learn at the same time. I always feel satisfied leaving here with a happy tummy & big grin.

Before entering the main door is possible to spot the "vera pizza napoletana" which is a guarantee. All the criteria fore a good pizza were met: - well grown dough with perfect honeycomb structure, easy to digest - worked as the napolitan school requires - high-quality ingredients The Norma fried eggplant was juicy and tasty, joined in a perfect wedding with the ricotta salata. While the filling of the calzone, resulted from a creamy blend of ricotta and parmiggiano, offered a pleasant contrast with the spicy nduja. I also appreciated the non intrusive behavior of the kind staff! The local itself seems very nice at the entrance, but is not well finished, expecially the backyard. This is the only reason why I am giving 4* instead of 5. My compliment at the kitchen!

Absolutely awesome pizzas! We have visited this restaurant several times along with ordering takeaway and cannot fault the pizzas. You get what you pay for when it comes to quality and these guys definitely use good flour and ingredients! We have travelled all throughout Italy and truly are do happy that this restaurant exists in our local suburb! Owner and staff are extremely kind and thoughtful, I will continue to recommend and visit!

Ordered a Margherita pizza here the other week take away and it was delicious! Pizza definitely made in the Neapolitan tradition, with very fresh ingredients. I particularly noticed that the mozzarella cheese they use is of a really nice quality. I'm keen to go back.

Aperitivo does everything well but the real standout is the pizza. We were drawn here many years ago after learning they were AVPN certified (and knowing what that meant, following our first trip to Italy). This really redefined pizza for me and appreciated the "let the ingredients speak for themselves" approach. Extensive wine list so it's always easy to find a tasty drop to accompany dinner. Plus, the team always looks after us very well. You won't be disappointed!

This is my favourite authentic Italian restaurant, I have been all over Italy and Sicily and through my travels i could not find a better pizza than the one i found in Aperitivo and the reason for me is the tomato sauce they use with the pizza, its so sweet yet salty and acidic just the perfect balance, the pizzas are wood fired and just simple. They have so many great dishes to try so please give them a go they are truly amazing, the thing that stood out to me was even after a year of not visiting staff and the owner remembered me and my friends and even remembered the wine we loved to drink. Thank you for the great food and we will be back soon.

I’ve been in this restaurant 3 times. Once I ordered pasta and I was disappointed. I see that type of pasta is not anymore on the menu, which is good. Pizzas were ok but the crust was chewy because of the style of pizza. Zucchini flowers were really good and I enjoyed a lot the sauce.

Great selection of drinks and a nice way to spend an afternoon/evening with company. They also have a good selection of salads, and the pizzas are delicious. Authentic dough and fresh toppings. Try the mushroom and prosciutto pizza, it's so good. Wait staff are friendly and it's a short wait to a table but worth it for the atmosphere.

Went for a 21st birthday party with a private function room on the 3rd level. It was a very spacious room and had the toilets on the same level. This restaurant is massive. The pizzas were tasty, especially since they use a traditional wood fire oven. The entrees we had were also great. It was handmade pasta so it's not like the typical stuff you get at other restaurants.It is the perfect venue for 30people to easily sit down for a three course and not be too noisy. They also had a separate speaker system so you could choose your own music. I didn't get a chance to try dessert because we were so full!

This is the best Italian restaurant in the area and is not even the most expensive. From the pizzas to the gnocchi, there are no downsides for this place. BTW if you wanna have dessert, you should try the pannacotta.

Better than any other Italian on Norton Street for the price you pay. Slightly on the small side for the pasta servings, so for the hungrier people maybe consider an extra entree. If your partner isn't a big eater like mine than it's fine. Highlight was the orange zest creme brulee! Wouldn't let me give half stars, it's more a 3.8 kinda place.. better than ok, getting towards really good but could be better.

These guys are amazeballs. Best Italian in Leichhardt, modern, fresh, can't be beat. Don't go past the Fiori di Zucchina (ordered every time I've been) and their Tartufo pizza will blow your mind. OMG don't even get me started on their Lychee Cocktails and Limoncello!! Perfect service every time and a beautiful interior throughout.

An Aperol Spritz was a great way to begin the meal at Aperitivo, a restaraunt with a nice range of authentic, traditional Italian pizza's on delicious pizza crusts. We had the quattro formaggi (four seasons) and bresaola pizzas and both were light and full of flavour. The staff were attentive, friendly, and we didn't wait long for the meal. We will definitely be back.

We initially booked dinner for 2 at the restaurant next door however the manager over there was quiet abrupt and not helpful until we walked past aperitivo where Maurizio asked if we had a booking and I said no, he immediately got us a table outside and was able to deliver quality service where he would check in to see how the food was, thank you again Maurizio 🕺🏿
