Went to Bellucci Cucina for a business lunch. Great location and the food was good but the experience was let down by the service with one main arriving up to 15 minutes after the others and then despite having asked for the bill we had to go up and pay.

the slow cooked lamb ragu was a surprise. I didn't expect it would taste really good. The pizzas were quite interesting though, they weren't as commercial as the other italian restaurants. Being an outdoor, it's a struggle on cold weather especially when it's raining. The food didn't take long to be served. I like how the staff were thoughtful enough to turn on the heater and move us in a covered area before we actually requested it. Overall, a great italian restaurant.

A great new edition to the Sydney Italian restaurant scene. Way better and more authentic than Jamie's Italian, Bell Ucci's is set within the historic Australia Square building on George Street. During the day its a popular cafe & lunch spot but Thursday to Saturday night its also open for dinner which is when we went. We ate a mix of pizzas and pastas and drank from a solid selection of red and whites by the glass. Must try dish - the meatballs!

Fantastic pizza (nicely raised crust and good toppings); pastas are made in-house and good flavours but unfortunately a bit on the small side. Good alfresco dining if a balmy summer evening. The Riesling we ordered was pretty horrible - hopefully not everything on yet wine list is so bad. Super friendly staff and most likely will return for the pizza!

Really enjoyed dining at this new up and comer. Came in early and basically ate the entire ‘snack’ menu which was great. Check out the olives and meats for sure. Meatballs were also amazing. For mains we got into the wagyu which was ok. Wouldn’t go that route next time however... the pasta and pizza was FANTASTIC. Don’t miss those. Drinks were fantastic as well can’t wait to get back.

I happen to be a regular at Belluci Cucina and I've never been disappointed with their food and service. Staff are so friendly, know me by name and best of all, if there is an issue, it gets addressed immediately so all you have to do is ask. Lovely service with beautiful food every time and I must say for a city location, it can become very cosy. Depending on the weather outdoor sitting is also allocated and the coffee is to die for, love everything about this place :D - Tash

Yummy food. We had the calamari which was served with a grilled lemon which was a lovely touch. Also had the antipesto platter which was very generous, lots of cured meats but only 2 types of cheese. Easy to miss perched at the top of the steps looking over the plaza but the food is very tasty. Let down by the insistence on selling Coke No Sugar instead of Diet Coke. Maybe the former is cheaper than the latter, but there's a reason customers prefer the latter! My tongue and my stomach both say let's rid the World of Coke Zero and Coke No Sugar - both terrible concoctions compared to classic Diet Coke!

You won’t be disappointed when you visit here. I have visited twice with a girlfriend for dinner and tour transported straight to Italy. The food is made with love and the service, well the service is next level! If you’re lucky enough to be greeted by the warm and beautiful Yasmin - you’re going to have a great night. She also does wedding and event planning on the side and oh my lord I’ve never felt more welcomed or laughed as hard as I have when she was with us!

Ordered a pasta Pappardelle the taste was on point the taste of the sauce was on point it was a tomato based sauce the acidity was awsome the Lamb was cooked to perfection it melts in your mouth and the pasta it self was made to perfection i highly recommended BELLUCCI. Went on Friday night. Food was nice but service very slow. Our group had to ask for drinks a number of times. Beware of their wine. We purchased a bottle before seeing the menu and it turned out to be $62 but online its a $15 bottle of wine. Mark up on the wine is so so wrong.

This is my daily coffee spot. It's also my go-to for an indulgent breakfast with a large group / quick lunch / snack / stay-back-at-work late dinner / drinking hole on a Thursday or Friday. It's basically my one-stop shop. The staff are so incredibly friendly and so accommodating. The food is always delicious and you can tell that the chef takes pride in his presentation of every dish that leaves his kitchen. I am quite picky with my food so I love that Bellucci has a menu that caters to my desire for something fresh and healthy. It also satisfies my cravings for carbs and sugar - when they do arise. I love the Friday night vibe - with great music until late, it really is the perfect way to end a long week. With so many other alternatives within close proximity, I find myself always knocking on Bellucci's door, waiting to be welcomed by the staff and my friends and colleagues are always more than happy to meet me for lunch there - even when it means they are coming cross-city to meet. That, in itself, speaks volumes about the food and the service. Keep up the great work - and think about opening on weekends!

We choose this place for our monthly date night as you can't go wrong with Italian and it receive great reviews and have the 50% off meals offer. We stopped off at Wynyard station where it was about 300m away. It was a little bit hard to find as it was not a normal address and Google maps doesn't make it obvious that it was in fact on a different floor unless you saw the address before hitting direction. The best way find is to go Australia Square on Curtin place and it's right up the first set of stairs on the left. The opening hours on Google also appears to be wrong as apparently it was closed during the time we booked it for so they need to update it to stop the confusion. The place is a nice beautiful outdoor setting overlooking the square with many tables around. I got the seafood pasta dish and my wife got the meat pasta dish. My pasta wasn't warm.enough and the noodle was a little hard for my liking. The taste was pretty good though, the sauce worked a treat. My wife's dish was also a little cold, otherwise was pretty decent regarding taste. They appear to have specials everyday and tonight was a tempting $20 all you can eat pizza. I like places that does this. The server appears alright, did their part and respectful. We would probably give this place another chance and would like them to ensure that their food is nice and hot in the future, not just warm. It probably would had been close to perfect if only it was warmer.

Food and drinks were good although the pasta came out warm so it ended up cold by the time I finished it. The chilly oil wasn't even chilly. Aperol spritz was the bomb. The best thing was the tiramisu and our waitress was a little ray of sunshine so shout out to her taking the time to answer some of our questions about correct pronunciation of the Italian words. She was lovely. As the sun set, the place seemed like a good little nook in the middle of the city for a nice meal with some chill tunes. Good for casual date night also or even a simple catch up. Whole restaurant is an outside dining experience. Wait service was pretty standard. Pizza was tasty and dough was cooked really well. I had a cream sauce fettuccine with zucchini flower which was extremely salty in flavour and a peppermint parfait with a chocolate ganache, which was nice but wasn't actually a ganache, more like a gelato or harden semi-freddo? Also, the profiterole tower was more like 2 on a skewer sitting on top of a chocolate ganache - don't really know if that should be classified as a tower. Overall experience was pretty average.

I've just finished a gorgeous lunch at Bellucci Cucina and I can't recommend this place highly enough. It is the best Italian in the CBD that I've had. I had the gluten free lamb ragu pasta and a great salad with pomegranates for the starter. Seriously delicious!

First time at Bellucci yesterday for lunch with colleagues and was pleasantly surprised with the amazing handmade pasta that were full of flavours (we had the crab linguini, lamb ragu and spicy seafood pasta and prawn skewers) and decent serving size. Service from the female wait staff (sorry didnt catch her name) was exceptional as she was attentive, friendly and caring enough to offer to move us in when it started sprinkling. Drinks on the other hand were a bit expensive.

Came here with some friends for a group dinner and I was very pleasantly surprised with not only the quality of food and service, but also the ambience. Tucked away behind the Australia Square office tower, you get a scenic view of the forecourt below. We ordered two pizzas - garlic and the Salumeria (which is like the 'meat' pizza) and both were delicious with a crisp and distinct woodfire flavour. I ordered the Spaghetti Neri (black squid ink pasta) which was wonderful and had a very generous serving of seafood. For dessert, I tried the Millefoglie: absolute star of the meal - creamy, with the pastry giving the dish crunch and texture. To top it all off, our waitress was very friendly and the service was fantastic. Very keen to come back and try more of the menu!
