First time visit & we were impressed. Order was taken & served quickly. Despite other reviews about the temperature of the burgers, we found our burgers & fries to be hot and fresh. Really enjoyed the food - their 'Famous Star with cheese' was good & definitely worth a try 🍔🍟👍. One of the better burgers we've had & the fries were well seasoned. For us, they lost a star because the 'Brownie Shake' tasted & looked like cookies & cream (Oreo??). Unfortunately we'd already driven away when we tried it. That wouldn't stop us from returning, but we'd double check our drinks next time. Overall, efficient, tasty and value.

The burgers are even better at Carl's Jr.! Been to the Central coast few times in the past which was hit n miss & can be lukewarm temperature. But for our 1st time at Wetherill Park branch today, it did not disappoint. I am impressed. Fast drive thru pick up. Temperature of burgers was good. Chicken meat defo better quality than Hungry Jack's or Maccas. Beef nicely charred not overgrilled. 2 adults, 2 kids had 2 cheeseburgers, 1 Chipotle chicken, 1 BLT double beef & 1 guac burgers. All consistent high quality I am relieved to say after seeing some previous reviews.

Went back today (hahahaha) and tried the Tradies Deal that had the Famous Star with cheese and a double cheeseburger burger. Famous Star not the best burger, meat was dry, not enough sauce and sauce was ordinary. The double cheeseburger was great, tasty, juicy and sauce was excellent. Our fries today didn’t come out fresh and hot so was like eating cardboard. Returned today and tried the Portobello mushroom Angus burger and that was nice too. The mushroom sauce was tasty, the buns soft, burger done just right. I also ordered onion rings and they were nice and crispy though again a bit on the salty side. I went today with family and was a bit hesitant after reading all the mixed reviews. I’m glad I did though. My observations, the chicken tenders and Angus burgers rated consistently well in these reviews and they didn’t disappoint. Kids and adults alike loved the chicken - tender, moist and tasty. The Angus burgers were a good size, similar to Whoppers and at least 3x bigger than Maccas quarter pounders! Taste was awesome, buns soft, sauce was great! The fries were very salty though. Plus points on the sizes of the soft drinks. Suggestion though would be to have water as an option in the soft drink dispenser. Restaurant was clean, and Covid safe by keeping a line outside until it was your turn to order. There was only one unisex toilet so another wouldn’t have hurt. Kudos to the owner and management as they obviously listen to customers feedback and try to fix the issues brought to their attention. Hopefully this keeps up as we’ll definitely be back!

Had a good meal best fast food hot chips I've had in a very long time and really enjoyed the chilli cheese fries. Only problem is the burgers all came out cold no heat in them which is a regular theme in the reviews but it seems nothing has been done about it. The flavour was fine but cold burgers I mean who wants that? Excellent shake and refillable drinks 👌 staff were nice. Really want to try again

Best Big Brand fast food burgers in the world. I have had Carl's Jr and also known as Hardees all the over world. They are the best flavour and there shakes are awesome and also there ice cream. Omg. Must try.

I absolutely love Carls Jnr - but this particular store is not the greatest. I always have to ask for fresh - rarely get it. Have below average customer service. The food is actually good when it's fresh and the tenders the BLT burger are amazing the shakes the desert's and breakfast are all amazing when fresh. This is the first time trying Carl's jr. And surprisingly I was impressed with it. The team prepared the burgers perfectly and were brought out in a timely fashion. I regularly drive past this location and enthusiastically watched the building go and up looked forward to it's opening. Turned up today, opening day, half an hour before the "official" opening time of 10am hoping to see a ribbon being cut or the local mayor make a speech, only to find the store already open with a steady stream of customers. Oh, well. I'm here for the food. I was greeted by many friendly and chatty "head office type" looking people offering flyers with the menu, caps, t-shirts and the Carl's Jr mascot (star) wandering around. They were filtering the number of people into the store to make it manageable and comfortable. Nice start. Had time to decide what to order while in line. For the record, Guacamole Bacon Angus Burger, medium natural cut fries, medium coke zero and a Chocolate hand scooped ice cream shake (no cream). The order takers were efficient and friendly, obviously well trained for a new store. Had the order eat in. Went to sit down to find the smallish dining room about half full, and an inviting, interesting SOCAL vibe. The food. This is where it started to disappoint. First the good. The burger was actually delicious. The ingredients were all fresh and vegetables crisp. The meat patty was well seasoned and cooked correctly. Not over or under cooked. Bun was perfect for a burger, and the guacamole tasty and oozy. The burger was freshly made and hot. My only criticism with the burger is that it had bacon on it, but I never really tasted it or felt it while eating. The fries and shake however, were on the disappointing side to say the least. The fries were barely lukewarm, not seasoned very well (if at all) and on the soggy side. Clearly they had been sitting under the heat lamps a little too long. The shake had potential. The consistency and texture were excellent. Unfortunately it was really under flavoured (closer to vanilla than chocolate), and really SWEET. Too sweet for me to finish. A couple of other points. I feel the price point is a little on the high side for the QSR segment. I get I ordered a "premium" burger, but the above came to $25.85. That's creeping towards $100 for a family of 4 and in the suburban gourmet burger restaurant range. Also (only a minor thing), the receipt looks like they are adding GST onto the prices displayed, but they are actually included in the prices. The way they display it is a little quirky. So would I go again? Yes. I would love to give them another try. Definitely better than the slop I was last served at the yellow M chain. It was just a little disappointing for a brand new chain to the Sydney market, in a brand new store literally in it's opening hours to be served coldish fries and a shake lacking flavour. If anyone from Carl's Jr reads this, I tried to keep this review off social media, but was unable to review through your website.

Best burger I have ever had. Was never intended on eating there, but at 10PM fat Frank's was closed and so was the kebab place around the corner. Chips just out of the fryer, perfectly seasoned, juicy burger, tomatoes just cut and fresh lettuce and onions... chicken tenders out of this world, finally real chicken in chicken! salivating writing this review... 100% going back!

Heard all the hype of visiting Carl’s Jr. It was decent, however didn’t really live up up the hype. Burgers are similar to hungry jacks, fries were soggy and burger was covered in mustard. However, the desserts are absolutely delicious. The Oreo shake is probably the best thing we had there. Also their chicken star nuggets were pretty well. Service was okay but the dining clearly needed someone monitoring, both people sitting but cleaning.

Its been a few weeks since it's opened, the lines have died down to something more acceptable now. I went on a Wednesday night around 8pm. I got the super star burger meal and jalapeño Angus. Honestly they tasted like a hungry Jack's burger but packaged really nicely. *edit Came back the next day to try the chicken burger and onion rings. Maybe Carl's jr isn't my taste. Its fresh but not to my liking so still a 3* for me.

I used the drive thru and it was surprisingly fast with the ordering, paying and receiving of food in less than 10 minutes (with the line considered). Food is great and prices are fair, I find the food and general experience is comparative to Hungry Jacks with meat that tastes almost exactly the sam but different items like chilli chips (really good). Great experience, highly recommended.

Great to see a Carl’s Jr store in Wetherill Park. I visited on their third day of trade. I waited in line for ten minutes to access the store - it was worth the wait. Staff were friendly, fast and efficient. Burgers tasted great. Fries are excellent. The shake was outstanding. Free refills for soft drink purchases. The store was very clean and had COVID-19 policies in place. Plenty of parking located around the store. Easy to access. Seating was available indoors and outdoors. Toilets are located inside this store. #WetherillPark

Been to Carl's a few times now, best presentation and quality for the beef burgers I've seen, but a hard pass on the chicken burgers as they are small and overpriced, also the chips are bland. Customer service kinda balances itself out, had bad and good customer service. Unfortunately there are hidden prices, that you find out only when paying. Overall mix of good and bad. Also why is everything very nearly cold, is the food not make to order? Do they pre-cook and have it waiting?

The most freshly made burger ive ever had, Crispy lettuce that wasn't shredded mush like other burger chains, the burger bun was a proper bun and unbelievable fresh and soft also their classic sauce wins hands down and trumps Big Mac sauce by a mile. Also get yourself the waffle fries you won't be disappointed. The staff were very lovely too

3 stars is probably on the generous side but the place is clean and had a nice vibe. There was always someone cleaning up which was fantastic. The service wasn't too bad. Manager acted when it got busy and put extra workers on the cash register. But I have to say, the burgers aren't dissimilar to Hungry jacks if not a little bit dryer. What was disappointing was the chips. It was busy at dinner time, but the chips were as stale as a prune. Overall I'll be back to try the other burgers and just be a pain and request fresh chips. Thumbs up for the free refills.

I had the angus original and hubby had the jalapeno with an extra meat paddy that made it almost impossible to finish. So satisfying, filling and deicious.

The only Carls Jr in Sydney and they put it in Wetherill Park 😩. These are good American burgers but not everyone will be travelling 40km to visit. Expand!

My friend and I got the Beef Family pack with the upgrade to Angus patties. And we also got extra chicken nuggets, tenders and onion rings. The burger that my friend and I decided to share was the Famous Star and the Cheese burger. The Famous Burger was pretty decent with the tomato n mayo combo and the fresh lettuce and tomatoes. The cheeseburger was another story though, as without the sauce and veggies to help, the patty itself was chewy and dry. And the tenders was like eating through a sponge. The onion rings were good with a crispy outside and a good onion content on the inside, the chicken nuggets were decent. The sauces were bussing tho. Maybe with more time, they can perfect the small things.

It was fun to go and try it so early on with its opening, and the Angus burger was amazing but I didn’t think the other food was great as great or on par to even other take away or burger places. Definitely had better beef burgers than the Carl burger and cheese burgers. The chicken burger was okay but Angus burger was delicious! I will definitely get that again and the onion rings but maybe not the other beef burgers.

Their burgers are big and different but at the same time remind me of hungry jacks. It's sometimes busy but. If you would like to try something in America then this is the place. They do offer self refuels of drinks which is good. Also, it's close to eastern creek so after a day of racing it's a good spot to get something to eat. They don't have trailer parking but their car park could fit a car trailer if it is quiet. I'm pretty sure it's also the place where they do cars under starlight.

I have the privilege of living 1 min away from Carls, so I get to see how it develops. Having been open a little over a month now, I've enjoyed the entire burger menu ( probably 4-5 times in total ) . During this month I cannot say I have had even one hot/fresh burger, being so close to the store there isn't much downtime between receiving my order and driving home to enjoy it. The potential is there but no generic response required, cook your food to order .

Burger's were okay, comparable to Hungry Jack's if not just below the quality of Hungry Jack's burgers. Their fries not to the level of Hungry Jack's or McDonald's. It was dry and salty, not crispy. I also ordered their chilli fries which was a big let down. Doesn't look anything like the picture on the menu. They hardly put any cheese sauce and looked more like just dry salty fries with nacho mince meat dumped on top. In my opinion, the Carl's Jr. In Australia isn't up to the standard compared to their American counterpart.

I’d give it a 6/10. The only downside would be that they forgot the ranch sauce for the chicken tenders. It kinda tastes like hungry jacks. The chicken tenders were really good though. I’d go there again but I wouldn’t be a regular. The drive-thru is in a ridiculous spot to be honest but the wait wasn’t that long. It’s a bit on the pricey side. If your wanting a more affordable option your better off going to hungry jacks to be honest.

Came here on a Sunday morning at 8;15a.m. With only 2 extra customers waiting, I STILL had to wait over 15 minutes for takeaway. There was close to about 7 staff who looked like they just came out of primary school & didn't know what to do with themselves. After 15 minutes we had to ask for our order AGAIN !!!! So unprofessional. Anyhow, had the double original, burger was superb BUT chips are SO bland, no seasoning at all. Woollies home brand fries taste better..
